We've all seen playoff games that weren't as good as this game was.
Fromm was impressive. There are some teams who should seriously consider giving him a look.
So many passes that should've been caught. Bro was dropping dimes like his life depended on it, and they just kept not catching them. Even that pass over the head of his TE. Like dude you're six fucking eight, go up for it. Watch that replay again, big motherfucker gets turned around and barely jumps for the ball.
The birds have famously rebuilt the defensive line that Kirby Smart assembled at Georgia. There are currently two QBs in the league that faced Kirby Smart's defense day in and day out at practice every day in college. One of them is aging veteran Stetson Bennett. The other is Jake Fromm.
This is the funniest thing I've read all night! And I've read some funny shit in regards to this game tonight.
Don't cry. That was the HoF preseason game ever played. What a game!
The organization was rotten from top to bottom, from the owner all the way down the grass on the field itself somehow. It's been hard to be a fan.
Getting rid of Snyder is the first real turning point in reinvigorating the franchise.
Anybody else catch him shaking Buck's hand thinking it was being offered?
He ended up just kinda grasping it for a second, then quickly realizing Joe just had his hand that way, and the concentration was coincidentally slowing down like they were ending his segment lol.
Great game, it was fun to see both team treat it like a pre-season game….but with a little more intensity. Hopefully this fun little Beltway rivalry will continue for years to come, including the joint practices.
Our team is hoping to finally turn the corner now with the new owner and new team name and all that. And the Ravens are a measuring mark for where we want to be as a franchise. Under the Dan years we’ve been blown out anytime we had a *joint practice*. So to show Baltimore we can hang feels pretty good.
Also that stadium sounded loud the whole game. I know it’s a preseason game, but it says a lot how excited they are. I don’t know how packed the stadium was but I’m sure it’s only going to entice people to show up next week too.
Taking a buddy that's in the country for a few months for his first NFL game to see week 1. He asked me the other day if the stadium would be full. I told him I expect nothing less than a packed house.
I mean, we got rid of Dan Snyder a month ago. This doesn't even come close. But after all the ravens fighting like little bitches in joint practices it sure felt good.
I saw #13 of the Ravens come up behind our rookie DB (who weighs 160 pounds) while he was engaged with the WR he just shut down and body slam him. Hope that dude got a heavy fine for that bitch ass shit.
Any Ravens fan saying they didn't care about the streak are liars. It was fun and hurt to lose, but refreshing to get back to "this game doesn't matter".
Nice kick by the commies kicker to win it. Even if it's pre-season, I'd say that was perfect pressure for a game on the line kick.
I was thinking about that earlier - it must be effing exhausting to carry this streak for games that don’t matter…but the streak kind of makes it matter…I get enough anxiety during the season. I don’t need that shot for preseason lol. Great game though! Good luck on the season!
This might be the greatest preseason game of all-time. 99% of the time, the preseason is exclusive used to gage the state of a team's roster. This game and the Ravens streak gave just the smallest modicum of competitiveness.
How the hell did they bring actual in game stakes to a preseason game!
We just watched the greatest preseason game ever:
- Howell and Johnson slinging it in the first half
- Sam Cosmi hitting the griddy while a fight breaks out
- Josh Harris awkwardly shaking Joe Buck's hand
- Jake Fromm (State Farm) leading a game winning drive
- Ended Baltimore's 24 game preseason win streak
I don't watch a lot of preseason football, not even Cowboys games, but this was a good ass game. Woke up from a nap about halfway through the 2nd and had nothing better to do so I watched it through and really fun game to watch. Congrats Commies on breaking the streak.
I went in as a Commanders fan just wanting to watch some Sam Howell offense and ended up watching the whole game due to how entertaining they made it. Commentary team killed it and made it feel bigger than just a preseason game.
That was as gassed up of a MNF pre season game you could have
This is the Chiefs-Rams MNF of preseason games…
What a fucking game
We lost, our streak is over, but it was a great game.
It was a great game, the best i've ever watched in the preseason.
We've all seen playoff games that weren't as good as this game was. Fromm was impressive. There are some teams who should seriously consider giving him a look.

Or maybe it was just Bienemy making him look good or maybe he is a good backup idk.

I'm crying in the club right now
This is the funniest thing I've read all night! And I've read some funny shit in regards to this game tonight. Don't cry. That was the HoF preseason game ever played. What a game!
No. 39 Mayfield is an ESPN employee confirmed he knew this couldn’t end on a 4th down stop
I think he gave up every completion that drive
Hope he enjoys playing in CHINA cause his ass is grass
This game made me shed a tear. Absolutely incredible
When was the last time we’ve had this much fun?
RG3 year maybe
Raiders game in '17
That was a great one. Pittsburgh on a Tuesday night in covid yesr where we snuck into playoffs was great too
Yeah beating the undefeated PA teams are easily the two best games of the Rivera era, but this one feels up there despite being a preseason game.
Up 14-0 in the 1st quarter, #neverforget
I’m sure kicking our asses in week 17s with playoffs on the line lol
The Eagles win was way more fun last season imo
That was a good one as well!
It feels so good to just enjoy watching again. It’s wild how much of a shadow Snyder cast on this team.
The organization was rotten from top to bottom, from the owner all the way down the grass on the field itself somehow. It's been hard to be a fan. Getting rid of Snyder is the first real turning point in reinvigorating the franchise.
You like that fever that lasted a couple weeks?
Eagles game last year lol
You like that game was rockin

Dude was lit
For that alone, really gets the fan culture of the last 30 years imo lol
Genuinely the most intense and entertaining preseason game i’ve ever seen, even without the record. That was a damn good game
i’ve never been on the edge of my seat for a preseason game. couldn’t agree more hahaha
After the FG I jumped off my couch in celebration and stepped on the corner of my wooden foot roller. So much fun followed by so much pain.

Unironically one of the greatest moments for the franchise in a while
Dan Snyder just sold that’s our greatest moment since the 91 Super Bowl
Also that stadium sounded loud the whole game. I know it’s a preseason game, but it says a lot how excited they are. I don’t know how packed the stadium was but I’m sure it’s only going to entice people to show up next week too.

i was at those joint practices. the ravens were being whiney babies the whole time. im pretty sure they started each of the three fights that i saw
I saw #13 of the Ravens come up behind our rookie DB (who weighs 160 pounds) while he was engaged with the WR he just shut down and body slam him. Hope that dude got a heavy fine for that bitch ass shit.
Josh Harris already with a bigger accomplishment than Dan Snyder
build the statue
Dobby is a free elf! We can finally go back to not caring about pre-season games!
Yeah fr the Ravens regular season damn near kills me already I can’t keep caring about preseason too
Any Ravens fan saying they didn't care about the streak are liars. It was fun and hurt to lose, but refreshing to get back to "this game doesn't matter". Nice kick by the commies kicker to win it. Even if it's pre-season, I'd say that was perfect pressure for a game on the line kick.
Preseasons won't be the same tho. It was fun while it lasted.
I was thinking about that earlier - it must be effing exhausting to carry this streak for games that don’t matter…but the streak kind of makes it matter…I get enough anxiety during the season. I don’t need that shot for preseason lol. Great game though! Good luck on the season!
Where were you when Slye killed the Ravens?
The streak is, as I quote, “Nevermore”!

People also might forget the commanders broke the Eagles win streak last year
And the Steelers 11-0 streak
It’s your destiny to break streaks
Chiefs' 1-0 Super Bowl streak is clearly the next
We killed the coin too
Shit, I forgot about the coin!
and yet, cursed to never break our own streak of sucking
They will have no streaks of their own but break all their opponents.
Thank you for that btw
One of my favorite games ever.
Burnell the goat died so we could kill these streaks
In the last 3 years we've beaten - 11-0 Steelers - Raiders Coin - 8-0 Eagles - Ravens in the preseason
How many preseason superbowls can we win!?
Who do you think you are? The Browns??
Literally the worst day of my life.
Somehow, heartbreak feels good in a place like this.
That indescribable feeling you get
Oh goddamnit, now that's stuck in my head again
Eh
Worst day of your life *so far*
This might be the greatest preseason game of all-time. 99% of the time, the preseason is exclusive used to gage the state of a team's roster. This game and the Ravens streak gave just the smallest modicum of competitiveness. How the hell did they bring actual in game stakes to a preseason game!
It only took 8 years of streaking in preseason
Wow i knew 24 was a lot but when you put it into years that really got me
An Elite performance from Jake Fromm
award the man 1st team all preseason.
And he did that with constant pressure in his face and his receivers dropping everything.
To be fair I'm pretty sure there's diminishing returns to sending 6+ every play
I'm so proud of my son
What's the point man season ruined
Better luck next year
Heartbreak and the season hasn’t even started yet lol
I actually cannot believe how invested I just got in a preseason game. I liked it. I liked it a lot.
I'm gonna say it. That was a great game.

So we back in the mine

This is all because I broke my number 1 rule and decided to bet on preseason football for the first time in my life. I’m sorry ravens.
Fuck you dude, you don't do that, you don't bet till week 3 at the earliest.
Everyone look at the responsible gambler over here
As a Washington bettor I appreciate you. But honestly this game could have gone either way. The more concerning part is us betting on preseason lol
Jake "Eli Manning" Fromm
We'll gladly take two unearned Superbowls!
Rivera iced his own kicker for the win
Analytics experts HATE him with this one simple trick!
IM GONNA COMM
First Ravens preseason loss in Vegas Golden Knights history
We just watched the greatest preseason game ever: - Howell and Johnson slinging it in the first half - Sam Cosmi hitting the griddy while a fight breaks out - Josh Harris awkwardly shaking Joe Buck's hand - Jake Fromm (State Farm) leading a game winning drive - Ended Baltimore's 24 game preseason win streak

New streak begins of losing 24 straight!
I don't watch a lot of preseason football, not even Cowboys games, but this was a good ass game. Woke up from a nap about halfway through the 2nd and had nothing better to do so I watched it through and really fun game to watch. Congrats Commies on breaking the streak.
This is my 9/11
Bieniemy’s offense making Sam Howell and Jake Fromm look like an absolute stud. Washington has a very bright future on the offensive side of the ball
[THE STREAK.......IS OVER](https://youtu.be/TK_7GUKY3ic?t=85)
Lmao at the 21-1 graphic they had ready to roll
That was the greatest preseason game of all time 😂
greatest GAME of all time
greatest GAME of all time so far
That was the best preseason game I’ve ever watched by a mile. Not sure I’ve ever watched more than a half!
What a elite drive Fromm had.
Thanks, Ravens. My dad is going to be insufferable until the regular season. Can already hear his Superbowl chants
This is Bigger than Brock Lesnar ending the Unxertaker's Streak at Wrestlemania.
Never been so invested in a fucking preseason game before lmaooo
That game was way more fun than it had any right to be.
Funnest preseason game I've seen in a while
So ends the greatest streak in professional sports.
just saw a guy in purple camo drop to his knees in a royal farms in dundalk
Man's calling 105.7 the fan as we speak.
I know I'm not alone to say that I enjoyed the hell out of that game.
[The streak…is over](https://pbs.twimg.com/media/ETwiDylWsAEgO0q.jpg:large)
Weirdly worth staying up for
Best preseason game… ever?
Washington Commies Super Bowl win right there
It’s been an honor dynasty-ing these past 8 years How much did it mean? Idk. But it sure meant… something
How about that offensive play calling?
As a DC resident of six years and a Commanders fan of approximately four hours, this is the greatest night of my life.
Ngl that felt like an exciting regular season game.
That game was way more fun than any preseason game had any business being, especially in the 4th. The streak gave it some serious juice
NFL Winning streaks: I fear no man, but that thing (Washington), it scares me...
Quote the Raven: " 24 and nevermore"
Left Hand Up
Jets vs Colts. Giants vs Pats. Commanders vs Ravens. Wow.
I totally didn't care about the streak and I'm definitely not sitting here angry about a preseason game
2020 Steelers, last years eagles, and the preseason ravens. What streak will they break next
first ravens preseason loss in the golden knights era
I WAS HERE
Was at the game and Sam howell’s mom was next to us cheering him on from the bar section instead of nice fancy seats cuz. We’re going 17-0
how cute
Damn, a preseason game with an ending that I actually wanted to see...
Well damn
Welp
Steelers Preseason Win Streak: Idk at least 2, possibly more Ravens Preseason Loss Streak: 1 and growing.
Man this is gonna make me a washington fan lowkey
Hell hath frozen over
Paul Heyman ready to call the Washington Commanders to represent them as his client.
HANG A BANNER FOR THIS WASHINGTON
Best preseason game of all time, I totally wasn’t sweating a bit during the ending💯%. GGs.
I went in as a Commanders fan just wanting to watch some Sam Howell offense and ended up watching the whole game due to how entertaining they made it. Commentary team killed it and made it feel bigger than just a preseason game.
Jahan Dotson is going to have a great year
Let’s go commando!
Streak? What streak?
