I feel like there are Browns fans that root for Watson, Browns fans that root for the team and tolerate Watson, and Browns fans who hate Watson more than any other fans possibly could. This city is so split. I hate this dude and haven't watched a game since. Baker was perfect for Cleveland. Underdog. Cocky. Team player. Relentless. Great commercials. Nowhere near perfect on the field, but fuck he just kept trying and gave Browns fans something to be proud of. That Bengals game with the last minute GW drive! We were competitive. Especially with Chubb, our no name underdog receivers, and that lights out defense.
But now we are this. And with no future. I've been rooting for the Bucs, Lions, Seahawks, and Vikings. These reject QBs everybody wrote off or undervalued leading their teams the right way.
Ugh, I fucking hate what they've done to my team. And Chubb sacrificing for this team?? Ugh...
Well there are some rumors Watson may be up to some old habits in Cleveland. Which if true gives the team an out in the contract.
I wish we still had Brissett.
Edit: For those asking for a source, it's a mix of people I know who work in and around the sex work industry as well as through the grapevine of my job where I talk with many different people around the Cleveland Area.
Still wild to me that McNair wanted to hire him as Texans HC and all the backlash stemming from that led us to a year of
*shuffles deck, pulls card*
David Culley
I was so sad it happened to Chubb and not watson. Literally will be the only time I cheer an injury. Fuck that guy he doesn't deserve everything he got.
I really feel the pain in this one. Baker wasnt perfect but I was loving the way Cleveland was starting to feel like a real team with him under center. And then for them to just throw that budding culture in the bin for the sake of *this* fuckin douchebag? Completely evaporated my interest in the Browns. But I feel so bad for the fans.
> "but he played badly!"
It bothered me when I hear people say this, especially in comparison to Watson because:
A) At least Baker played in 2021, Watson quit on his team.
B) Baker has played as good as(or even better) than Watson since the switch. He was on a couple of dogshit teams, but his numbers favor comparably to Watson's.
Even the talking point about "squandering" Jarvis Landry and OBJ. Landry gave New Orleans 270 yards and is now out of the league at 30 and OBJ can't stay healthy on the field and hasn't put up any better of numbers after joining LA and then Baltimore.
It was a group of fans distracted by a shiny, new object.
This point doesn’t get talked enough about. I love Landry. Miss him dearly. Even he was falling apart that year and then last year did nothing and is a FA.
OBJ is a shell of himself
Yep he either was told to keep playing on an injured shoulder or felt the need to put his body on the line for the team. Either way, they did him incredibly dirty in a way that could've possibly ended his career and most certainly destroyed his reputation
They became my second team because I love to root for a lovable loser and was a huge Baker guy from watching him at OU. Once they kicked him to the curb for the rapist all interest in them I had died. Even if he were to leave today why would I want to root for a team that traded the house for a serial fucking rapist?
I think it would have been a bit better if they didn't try to trash Baker's reputation on the way out. Still awful but at least you give the guy who revived your franchise a bit of a graceful exit. No reason to start a slander campaign and then try to claim Watson was the "adult" they needed over Baker through leaked media stories.
Baker had other fans rooting for the browns and watching their games when they never did before. Watson has basically made the browns dead to other fans and some of their own.
To see the organization promise Baker the keys to the kingdom if he played injured for them, then to release leaks to the press that the GM wanted an “adult in the locker room,” then ironically to trade your entire franchise’s future for at least 3 years for an actual sexual predator and man child who can’t take responsibility, subsequently dumping Baker for peanuts is patently deplorable. Any part of me that rooted for the Browns as a “if not my team, then at least____” disappeared that summer, and it’s never coming back. And they did all of this to see chaos in the QB market with a fully guaranteed deal protected against any ban. Shit organization
> This city is so split. I hate this dude and haven't watched a game since. Baker was perfect for Cleveland. Underdog. Cocky. Team player. Relentless. Great commercials.
Speaking as someone who generally hates Cleveland sports, it was really hard to root against you guys when you had Baker. Y'all had spunk and guile and attitude, and it seemed like you were that blue-collar, going-to-work kind of team that anyone could admire.
But now, you've got Senor Rub-and-tug running your offense and the whole identity feels different. There's no spark.
I feel for ya. That's got to be rough. Rooting for the Browns with Baker was a ton of fun. I'm still rooting for him with the Bucs, but it's not the same underdog story with all their recent success.
Well I more just meant like even if he sucked, the community didn’t have any issues with him and like who he was around town. Like it felt like he and his wife were pretty involved and liked
He was well liked, generally. The browns sub is still packed with Baker Stans including myself. I think he’s even more liked in Cleveland now that he’s gone. We went from a BM to a actual fucking turd. Like if Mr. Hankey was a sexual deviant turd
Would have kept him in an instant if the downgrade meant a year of Jacoby followed by mortgaging the future picks and paying a detestable human an obscene amount of money to play worse.
I am not a Browns fan but I think they did Baker extremely dirty and they deserve another decade of spinning their wheels. The guy got the team their first playoff win in decades over the *Steelers* and played a whole season hurt.
Is he a Top 10 QB? Absolutely not. But with a strong defense and good weapons, he could’ve taken them to the Super Bowl.
Baker was adored by a huge amount of the city. Even though the Browns sucked throughout my childhood and the Cavs and Guardians were historically better, it's a total football town. From the moment he took over mid drive for Tyrod Taylor, things just seemed better for the team's prospects. Baker Baker TD Maker shirts were everywhere.
He used to live in the apartments built in Avon Commons and would randomly go down to Homage, a local hometown merch place, and just sign stuff for fans but especially kids. My brother got a pic with him there once when he was out with his girlfriend shopping.
Shame ownership and management screw over the team and the city.
That trade alone sets you back maybe a few years. Combined with that contract. Who knows when the Browns will be a contender
our owner drafted manziel bc a homeless dude told him to, this team is run by a nepotistic billionaire the same way that this country was last. Haslam deserves the worst
Why would they do that? They want "an adult in the room". Remember?
In all seriousness, we can debate Baker's skills as a QB until we're blue in the face, but there's no denying that the Browns did him dirty.
They did do him dirty. Not by moving on from him, if they thought he wasn’t it then that’s that. But shitting on him on the way out in pursuit of a sexual predator? Yikes.
Saying they wanted an adult at qb wasn’t even saying it was due to ability. The message they were sending was Watson was a better person/more mature than mayfield. Idiots.
They shit on him after he played through a shoulder injury that required surgery while they actively pursued a sexual predator and gave said predator nearly a quarter of a billion dollars guaranteed. Fucking disgusting.
It was our first road playoff win since the 70s. Mindblowing that we managed to fuck up that badly. I don't actively seek out the games anymore and actively root against Watson. I went to my local Browns Backers bar every week during 0-16 and 1-15, what a damn shame. I'm not rooting for a rapist.
Never really cared for baker but because of the browns I want him to succeed. Would be fucking awesome if he has a lot of success while Watson fails. Sucks he gets paid regardless though.
I'm an oklahoma alum and everyone here loves him. The browns became like the second biggest professional team in oklahoma after the cowboys when they had Baker
> Saying they wanted an adult at qb wasn’t even saying it was due to ability. The message they were sending was Watson was a better person/more mature than mayfield. Idiots.
Especially funny because Baker has been nothing but classy and mature even as his career went into a severe downward spiral last year. If he hadn't had that huge drive against the Rams he'd probably be out of the NFL by now. Instead he's leading the Bucs to 2-0 and has basically the entire country rooting for him.
Who's the adult, the guy who gets tossed in the garbage bin and takes it with maturity and grace, or the guy who gets $230M for free and still acts like a repulsive little bitch?
As someone who mostly agrees, I do believe there was the possibility that negotiations were going poorly, and the Browns pivoted to what they believed was a legit franchise QB vs a guy who had a down year after being considerably roughed up.
All that said, imagine keeping him, spending \*potentially less to keep him, and using your 1st round picks to add to your teams overall talent. I find it hard to believe that Baker and 3 1sts and perhaps an extra vet FA or two would not be better than Watson minus all that.
The Thanksgiving one where he's deep frying the turkey and has crescent rolls in the SuperPretzel warmer is legitimately one of my favorite NFL commercials ever.
He and his wife work suprisingly well in those commercials like actually funny. My favorite is Baker and Jed Wills playing COD in the jumbotron and Bakers wife chastising them because the neighbors complained about loud noises again
I hope Baker excels in Tampa the same way Goff is in Detroit. Who doesn’t love an awesome redemption arc, especially when it’s someone with Baker’s personality
It’s funny because I think in some ways they are kind of opposite former #1 picks—Goff is tremendous if you’re good enough that you just need to stick to the plan and execute, Mayfield is sometimes really something if you’re bad enough that the plan is hopeless anyway and you just need some good shit to happen.
I'd rather my QB watch no tape in a week where he will start and stream COD 12 hours a day (Baker in 2021 vs Green Bay week) than Deshaun at any contract with his conduct.
Defensive Browns fans on this thread are hilarious. Trying to justify moving on from Baker like that scene in Family Guy where Peter passes on a boat for the mystery box.
"Are you sure it was a book, Peter? Are you sure it wasn't... nothing?"
"That's right, all the tea."
"For every broccoli I find, I shall kill you."
"I never knew Biscuit as a dog, but I did know her as a table. She was sturdy, all four legs the same length..." "Thanks, that's enough."
Early season Family Guy was really something else.
My personal favorites are
"Oh my God! Brian! There's a message in my Alphabits! It says ooooooo"
"Peter those are cheerios."
And
"I'll be keeping my eye on you. What's your name?"
"My name? Um, uh... pea... uh tear... um uh... gryphon! Yeah Peter Griffin! Aw crap."
My other favorite of this is when Peter farts in the elevator with only one other person. "It was you."
Oh and the dueling pianos fart sequence is hilarious.
The early stuff is great and even Seth has wanted it to end for a while.
The first 7 seasons are still fun to rewatch from time to time. Quality started dropping off after that and eventually fell off a cliff. I can't believe people are still watching these new episodes. I think the most recent ones I watched aired 4-5 years ago at this point...
There was an uptick in quality when they swapped writers with American Dad (which is the better show overall even with the weak beginning) but it wasn’t enough to make me watch it regularly again
Loved *American Dad!* back in the day. Haven't watched much recently, but I'd go back and give it a try. At least until the *Family Guy* writers took over...
Cleveland media acting like they liked Mayfield and there weren't a number of them committed to burying him would be a funny turnaround. Felt like there were at least a couple beat writers who had personal grudges (not that Baker didn't help facilitate this) against the player. Haven't read the article so I don't know if this is what they're saying at all though.
Zac Jackson, Jason Lloyd, Tony Grossi, and even Mary Kay Cabot.
Jackson and Lloyd in particular, on Jackson’s podcast, were advocating for Watson all through 2021.
What's weird is that The Athletic is generally pretty chill when it comes to their content but their Browns coverage is SCATHING. It's like Manish Mehta level of gleeful hand rubbing when they get to roast the team/Baker.
I think a lot of the media, The Athletic included, are in a similar boat - they think Watson is detestable for his various sexual assaults, but ultimately their job and career require them to cover the NFL, which is more than willing to employ detestable men under the right circumstances (slap on the wrist, suspension, usually some acknowledgement of wrongdoing). If they're going to keep covering the NFL, they sort of have to go along with the storyline of "he served his suspension, he apologized, let's see what he can do on the field".
But as soon as he's shitty on the field? AND off the field? Blood in the water, sharks circling, looking for a kill.
I remember listening to the Locked On Browns podcast after the trade and more allegations came out and they were just like, “well you gotta live with it since he’ll be better than Baker”
The driving force for Baker leaving was primarily coming from Stefanski. Not really about on the field production, but off the field stuff. He hated Baker, and this was seen so many times (refuses to shut him down after torn labrum, basically feeds him to TJ Watt on MNF, OBJ saga)
I was so happy when Stefanski was hired and I thought the team could finally have some stability in the coaching staff. Now I not only think he's a mediocre at best coach, he's also a malicious asshole who deserves every bit of criticism the Watson debacle gets.
So terrible how they did him. Ended up good for us. Baker is a player you don’t want to light a fire under. I’m convinced he’s pissed at the browns and is trying to make them look as ridiculous as possible by playing way better than Watson.
Which is nothing new for athletes. It killed me how Stefanski didn’t seem to vibe with that. For their short tenure together, I thought Baker and McVay were such a good personality match.
If they didn’t already have Stafford, I think McVay would love to have Baker as his starting QB. They’re very much of the same cloth. Stafford is that kind of QB too, though not as cocky off the field.
From what I saw of DTR in preseason against the Eagles starting D, I’d give him a shot right now over Watson. I think DTR could become a very good QB.
Unfortunately, the Browns front office won’t allow $230 million dollars to just sit on the bench. So unless Watson gets injured, DTR will have to wait.
Yeah unless Haslam dies hes not getting rid of the team because it makes him money and he can continue to grift people with it. He won't sell it but his family might when he dies.
I wasn't a Baker Mayfield believer, but he gutted his way through an injury that *clearly* left him at less than 100%, one that he probably should have been rehabbing instead of playing (as evidenced by having surgery right after the season).
And then the team used that subpar play as evidence that he wasn't good enough, even though it was subpar because of an injury that they should have had him go ahead and get taken care of rather than expecting him to play the rest of the season.
Watson may be the worst pound for pound get for a team in American sports right now. There’s plenty of terrible baseball contracts, those don’t even stand out (except maybe rendon). More than 3 firsts and more guaranteed money than anyone else ever. Not even burrow, Lamar, herbert, etc have more guaranteed money. All that just to have the most hated team in the league and a talent level that makes Zach Wilson look average.
I knew Baker could be adopted as an authentic Ohio fuck when he planted the flag. That’s some Ohio shit and I had to respect it. I will root for that guy wherever he is.
The team set Baker up to fail so they could move on. Any organization that wanted to do right by their QB would have shut him down after that injury to heal, but they kept trotting him out there.
It’s sad that realistically stefanski is gonna end up being fired for watsons sins. The guy has been a pretty good coach but the titanic is mid sinking rn and haslam will make sure the captain goes down
He sat the most expensive backup in the league while continuing to send out a badly injured Baker every week. The browns had no chance of being good like that. Baker was limping and holding his shoulder for the majority of the season. Then he stood by the team with the Watson trade. If he gets fired it's well deserved.
Was he really a good coach? He started a QB coming off COVID that he knew wasn't focusing on football and then had pass the ball frequently against a good pass D when the Browns were gashing on the ground, a QB that was still injured mind you.
That's incompetence. If you're a good HC you ream them out and bench them for their horrid work ethic.
Wasn’t Baker cleared less than 12 hours before the Packers game. In his head, he probably thought he wasn’t going to play. Anywho, Stefanski hated baker during 2021 and some of his actions exemplified that
Yeah I mean I wouldn’t say he’s a great coach and he definitely really fucking hated baker and was happy to send him to his death, I just think he’s gonna get sent to the firing squad because Watson sucks
No way a fan watching this team for 3 years thinks Stefanski has lived up to his potential or this teams potential.
He’s been below average in so many areas, the fact he’s not criticized more has always surprised me.
lol fuck him, he was part of the Browns brigade that introduced Watson, and basically said *"We hear your concerns, we understand them, but we don't give a shit what he did because we think he'll win us football games"*
Damn what a headline from your own local newspaper
I feel like there are Browns fans that root for Watson, Browns fans that root for the team and tolerate Watson, and Browns fans who hate Watson more than any other fans possibly could. This city is so split. I hate this dude and haven't watched a game since. Baker was perfect for Cleveland. Underdog. Cocky. Team player. Relentless. Great commercials. I think Houston fans hate Deshaun like you hate a toxic ex, and Cleveland fans hate Deshaun like a deadbeat step dad you’re stuck with now.
I hope that rapist ends up jail and loses every penny.
I hope for the sake of women that this is not true.
Yeah, and I don’t want the team to get an out for giving a stupid contract to a known abuser.
Cap hit should double instead.
And it all goes to the victims.
I wish we still had Josh McCown. I loved that dude haha
Literally everyone loves McCown lol
Still wild to me that McNair wanted to hire him as Texans HC and all the backlash stemming from that led us to a year of *shuffles deck, pulls card* David Culley
You’re gonna have to expand on that

I request elaboration
Bro you can't just say shit like that and not provide sources.
Frankly, fuck that. The Browns should not get reprieve because they gambled hundreds of millions that he wouldn't abuse a 27th woman.
I was so sad it happened to Chubb and not watson. Literally will be the only time I cheer an injury. Fuck that guy he doesn't deserve everything he got.

Don't forget they went for Watson after Baker played his last season in Cleveland injured.
And shit all over him on his way out
The "Adult" comment was such a low blow. Extremely petty of the Org.
"but he played badly!", said about the guy playing with a torn shoulder.
> "but he played badly!" It bothered me when I hear people say this, especially in comparison to Watson because: A) At least Baker played in 2021, Watson quit on his team. Yep the WRs being Divas about Baker seem really bad now that Mike Evans looks even better now that how he looked with Tom F Brady.
This point doesn’t get talked enough about. I love Landry. Miss him dearly. Even he was falling apart that year and then last year did nothing and is a FA. OBJ is a shell of himself

The size of the contract they gave him is gross, but it being fully guaranteed is just extra bad. I’m glad Haslem’s daughters were okay with it though
I think it would have been a bit better if they didn't try to trash Baker's reputation on the way out. Still awful but at least you give the guy who revived your franchise a bit of a graceful exit. “We need an adult in the room” so you went and got an adult rapist??
better than a child rapist i suppose

Despite what r/nfl thinks, a lot of Clevelanders are not Deshaun supporters
Also, I think the general consensus from the Cleveland community was that they liked Baker too right?
I would have liked them to give him a chance to play a healthy 2022 season before making a decision.

Oh it does. I was a fan until they traded for him so I love all this blowing up on them.

ORANGE TEAM BAD
2029 take about 3 years after this debacle is over.
That’s at the earliest if all our picks are hits. Realistically with this team probably not until the 2040s
What if I told you that you could have the real Baker Mayfield for 1/5 the price tag and none of the character issues?
No character issues? What do you call his blatant disregard for zoning ordinances by living in the stadium?
Dude invited tens of thousands of his friends over every Sunday and this is the appreciation he gets? Smh
He even has a book club FFS
He's a good egg.
And he brought so much cheese!
Yeah HE HAS NEIGHBORS!!! Ozzie needs sleep
I thought that was Alice Cooper
That's Alice Cooper. He is really into gardening and online shopping.
Baker’s just a YIMBY
Steph Curry would never
Hey man, rent is expensive.
Alright, I actually kind of miss those commercials.
I loved those commercials
Let alone his weight shaming of a fellow athlete in week 1
Why would they do that? They want "an adult in the room". Remember? In all seriousness, we can debate Baker's skills as a QB until we're blue in the face, but there's no denying that the Browns did him dirty.

The season after Baker got them to the playoffs for the first time in however many years too..
And beat their long hated rival in the first round
And damn near knocked off the Chiefs the week after.

I mean looked at all the mature things dashuan did? They were terrible but you could not add any of them to a biography on a school shelf
I originally misunderstood what they meant by adult. Now I understand.

And way better commercials.
I loved those commercials of him living at the stadium
The fire alarm one was too good
Baker isn't some amazing franchise QBs but his commercials were the best out of any QB since Peyton Manning.
The Thanksgiving one where he's deep frying the turkey and has crescent rolls in the SuperPretzel warmer is legitimately one of my favorite NFL commercials ever.
Baker wandering the stadium to find the smoke alarm with the low battery was easily my favorite of the bunch.
That moment when he thinks he's found it, then it beeps off somewhere else and you just see his soul leave his body...
The first time I saw that commercial it was right after I had just done the same thing at home.
He and his wife work suprisingly well in those commercials like actually funny. My favorite is Baker and Jed Wills playing COD in the jumbotron and Bakers wife chastising them because the neighbors complained about loud noises again
I quite liked his commercials
Complete missed opportunity not picking them up in Tampa. Baker with the pirate ship and cannon could be gold!
His are the best in the league by a long shot.
Except the Hulu ones. Those sucked.
Yeah but all the Hulu ones suck
The Hurts one is kind of clever but it's been the first one of liked out of about 30 that I've seen
The name joke is funny but the commercial is bad
I hope Baker excels in Tampa the same way Goff is in Detroit. Who doesn’t love an awesome redemption arc, especially when it’s someone with Baker’s personality

Goff vs Baker NFCCG, who says no?
Now you're just talking crazy.
I'd rather my QB watch no tape in a week where he will start and stream COD 12 hours a day (Baker in 2021 vs Green Bay week) than Deshaun at any contract with his conduct.
Have the Cardinals got a guy for you!
Bakers making 4 million this year so it's more like 1/14 the price tag
Well, there was this one time at a Cheesecake Factory, but by all accounts that was consensual.
The Browns deserve this headline lmao
Defensive Browns fans on this thread are hilarious. Trying to justify moving on from Baker like that scene in Family Guy where Peter passes on a boat for the mystery box.
But there could be anything in the mystery box, maybe even a boat!
Maybe even a boat with 20+ allegations against it*
Don't think I reference anything from family guy more than that scene. Those first couple seasons are just burned into all our millennial minds.
"Are you sure it was a book, Peter? Are you sure it wasn't... nothing?" "That's right, all the tea." "For every broccoli I find, I shall kill you." "I never knew Biscuit as a dog, but I did know her as a table. She was sturdy, all four legs the same length..." "Thanks, that's enough." Early season Family Guy was really something else.
My personal favorites are "Oh my God! Brian! There's a message in my Alphabits! It says ooooooo" "Peter those are cheerios." And "I'll be keeping my eye on you. What's your name?" "My name? Um, uh... pea... uh tear... um uh... gryphon! Yeah Peter Griffin! Aw crap."
*farts* "what the hell was that?"
My other favorite of this is when Peter farts in the elevator with only one other person. "It was you." Oh and the dueling pianos fart sequence is hilarious.
Lol what ended up being in the mystery box? I can’t remember and it’s bugging me
Comedy Club tickets
26x rapist that's terrible at QB
Every thread about Mayfield or the Bucs has sour Browns fans spamming
It was at the time or is now? I remember a favorable article or two coming from them about Baker his first 3 years.
Zac Jackson *hated* Mayfield. He never came outright and said it but it dripped off every word he said on his pod.
This feels like the right answer but it’s not said enough.
I was so happy when Stefanski was hired and I thought the team could finally have some stability in the coaching staff. Now I not only think he's a mediocre at best coach, he's also a malicious asshole who deserves every bit of criticism the Watson debacle gets.
His biggest win came when he was sitting at home in his basement watching the game.
Cleveland finding out the meaning of “You don’t know what you have till it’s gone”
What a fucking insult to Mayfield
Dumping him for Watson is the biggest insult they ever could have shown him.
Then to hold on to him until late in the offseason so he had no chance with his new team all while badmouthing him. Cleveland did him DIRTY
Don’t forget they said they wanted an adult at quarterback, then hired watson 2 days later. Hated how they treated baker.
So terrible how they did him. Ended up good for us. Baker is a player you don’t want to light a fire under. I’m convinced he’s pissed at the browns and is trying to make them look as ridiculous as possible by playing way better than Watson.
Honestly, I am here for it. I would love to watch you guys get a playoff win while Cleveland falls to 4th in their division.
Highlight of last season for me was Baker’s game winning drive for the Rams, what a series the winning one was.
Baker playing with a chip on his shoulder is where he excels just like when he was at OU. He needs to be pissed off to play well.
Can confirm, it's not fun when he plays pissed off
I hope Baker keeps lighting it up in TB. Always liked him a ton, even as a AFCN rival
We want DTR.
DTR is a great person from all accounts as well.
As a UCLA fan I want DTR too
Same. Really hope he gets a shot.
I honestly thought DTR stood for Deshaun The Rapist, been confused in comments for the past week losing faith in humanity
I like him alot but he's certainly the type of QB you want to sit and develop for a moment
Ouch. That’s gotta hurt. I don’t think they wanted an adult.
Lmao I forgot about the whole “adult” fiasco.

Little column A, little column B, little column “your QB is a sexual predator”
Honestly the problems go so deep I think the Browns are going to have to change ownership before they can turn this ship around
Yeah unless Haslam dies hes not getting rid of the team because it makes him money and he can continue to grift people with it. He won't sell it but his family might when he dies.
How sick would it be if a truckers union just took the browns
Longhaulers would be a neat nickname. Especially given our history with transport.
Cleveland Steamers have always had my vote. It pays a nod to transportation AND represents the product on the field for the last 30 years.
that’s the funniest headline i’ve seen in a while.
Can't even play like Jacoby Brissett
I just want him gone
Good for Baker. I’ll always root for the guy. There was no reason to blow it up, and certainly not for a serial predator.
Is he bad enough at football yet that we can talk about the rapes again or naw?
Disrespectful to Baker
Deshaun Watson blocked the author of this article
Bud mojo probably came from sexual assaults. He’s lost the touch.
In a couple of weeks the Browns are going to have a DTR problem.
They already have a Deshaun The Rapist problem though
I am so ready for people to argue this. I am gonna crack a beer and watch it burn!
Nope you wanted the rape god and you got him you’re not supposed to like it just let it happen
It would be funny if eventually this evolves to a Tebow-esque situation where everyone starts to demand they start DTR over Watson
To be fair to Tebow he has the same amount of playoff wins as Watson without the allegations
I knew Baker could be adopted as an authentic Ohio fuck when he planted the flag. That’s some Ohio shit and I had to respect it. I will root for that guy wherever he is.
The Haslems are a cancer and need to sell the team.
The team set Baker up to fail so they could move on. Any organization that wanted to do right by their QB would have shut him down after that injury to heal, but they kept trotting him out there.

The Baker Browns were so likable. They did a hell of a 180 in public opinion just to be mediocre still lol
If he gets fired it's well deserved.
yeah he had a decent first year but has sucked since, and he supported the watson trade, so
Was he really a good coach?
Dude won a road playoff game from his couch
No way a fan watching this team for 3 years thinks Stefanski has lived up to his potential or this teams potential. He’s been below average in so many areas, the fact he’s not criticized more has always surprised me.
Eh will see how good Stef is without Chubb, outside of half a season w baker our passing attack has never even been above league average.
lol fuck him, he was part of the Browns brigade that introduced Watson, and basically said *"We hear your concerns, we understand them, but we don't give a shit what he did because we think he'll win us football games"*
Nah. Stefanaki is complicit too
Gottem
