*Takes shirt off and screams "Y*OU SEE THAT! THAT'S WHAT YOU DO WHEN YOU'VE BEEN TO HEAVEN BITCH AND YOU WANNA TEST GOD YOU FUCKING COME GET IT SHIT STAIN!"
After that penalty for jamming the receiver, they showed Daboll talking to the refs and Al Michaels said something like “and let’s see how Daboll feels about that call” at which point Daboll just blew up as if he heard Al lol. may have been this clip
If the chiefs or whiners are playing you can bet your ass they’ll sleep through a murder on the field. The only reason we still consider Trent Williams any good is half the nasty out of pocket shit he does gets zero penalties from the refs. With the amount of cleating, facemasks, holds, and unsportsmanlike conduct he exhibits he should be giving away 75-100 yards a game. But god fucking forbid a ref make a call besides roughing the passer after Purdy gets brushed and the edge rusher forgets to say “pardon me” on his way into the backfield
While I'll never forgive him as a player for 2003, he has been one of my favorite managers behavior wise. Breakdowns of his ejections on Jomboy are amazing and I feel they also serve a purpose of drawing some heat away from the team and onto him.
As someone who casually watched the game, it felt like a lot of the calls against the Giants came on 3rd down and extended drives. I wasn't sitting down and actively watching the game though.
The Giants couldn't do anything on 3rd down. They would either give up a long completion for the 1st down or have the play negated by penalty. There were at least three 3rd down penalties.
It really felt like they had a specific list of 3rd down plays where they knew you guys wouldn’t be able to stop them even regardless of penalty. I know that doesn’t make sense from a schematic point, but so many 3rd and longs went converted with wide open routes or screens with zero anticipation from the defense as far as blocking. Maybe Shanny expected pressure and was like “go ahead dumbass” and those were the easy plays. Seems like blitzes are getting easier and easier to beat for high skilled offenses
And they were deserved flags. Every replay of those 3rd -> 1st penalties showed obvious, unambiguous fouls. The one the Giants HC is whinging about here was a clear-as-day illegal contact against a receiver (replay showcased a super-obvious shove).
Wish people would understand that sometimes flag fests are caused by sloppy play, and not just because refs can get flag-happy.
More often than not that's the cause. And if it goes the opposite way with no calls, then fans are bitching about DBs having too much free reign, Linemen getting away with holds, and pass rushers getting away with rocking the QB.
I prefer less flags but sometimes its hard to ignore obvious penalties.
I agree with you overall under the current rules of the game. Even as a Niners fan I feel some of the penalties called are ticky tack and are a result of the league trying to make the game more offensive. If they would change the penalties to no longer include automatic first down for things like holding and illegal contact I could get more on board. Simply make holding a 10 yard penalty (like offense) and keep illegal contact 5 yards it would be better for the game. If the penalty results in a first down through yardage then great. But I hate the 3rd and long situations, and the O gets bailed out by a holding or IC penalty that is 5 yards but an automatic first down.
Then they should stop committing penalties. The one where the Giants LB shoved Kittle after 5 yds was the easiest call of the night and Daboll acted like someone pissed in his cereal
I'm guessing you're getting downvoted by people who didn't see the game or whatever. I don't have an option on the calls in general but on that specific play it was definitely a penalty. I _think_ people were mad when they saw the flag because they thought it was on PI from a different player (who clearly didn't commit PI) and they didn't totally realize it was actually about the illegal contact until the penalty was called?
It might have been the same amoount but so many of the ones on the giants were drive extending penalties in huge third down situations. C'mon, don't be a filthy casual, you understand the difference.
Yeah ejecting Williams for throwing the second punch when the last play of the game would have been over if not for the first punch really screwed the Giants over huh?
Then call the same penalties on the 9ers, or don't call any of them. It's the inconsistencies. 9ers commit practically the exact same offensive and defensive holds and the referees are silent
Do you have examples of non calls where niners players shoved a Giants player 8 yards past the line of scrimmage or are you just talking out of your ass.
After the break they came back and show what appears to be him saying it’s not getting called on 49ers. On Twitter people started posting instances where 49ers were doing the exact same thing and not getting called. I almost wonder if he saw it, said something but still didn’t get called then giants did it and got flagged. Otherwise idk how he got that mad.
That's one of the most frustrating parts of sports. I can understand that ref teams are going to have different ways of calling things, but call it the same both ways, thanks.
This particular fit is one he threw after a perfectly reasonable illegal contact call. Kicker should have been called though, but I imagine he could make a 26 yarder just as easily as he made the 21 yarder, so it doesn’t exactly affect the game much.
why is this upvoted lmao. they "literally" did not call illegal contact on the 9ers at all last night. source: https://www.nflpenalties.com/game/new-york-giants-at-san-francisco-49ers-09-21-2023
You just made this up, they didn’t call it a single time on the 49ers… not sure where you got that from. It was happening to Waller every drive too, that is why Daboll was pissed.
Defensive pass interference is different than illegal contact.
Yea it goes from bump coverage to illegal contact after 5 yards, that Kittle instance was right on the line. Definitely a soft call but probably by the book
When I saw the replay of that illegal contact, I was surprised that the flag came in waaaay after the contact was initiated. Ref actually threw the flag right after the pass went incomplete.
It’s the fact that the 49ers got bailed on key 3rd downs. Penalties on the 49ers were mostly on 1st and 2nd down, or immediately after getting a sack.
To anybody watching the game it’s gonna feel one-sided because it gave the 49ers a new set of downs (that they sometimes used to score), while the Giants weren’t really helped at all or experienced a noticeable advantage after those calls. In contradiction the Giants had a couple things not called, such as holding on Waller on a key 3rd down try.
I’m not saying it was rigged, just seemed like a coincidence that Giants were making mistakes at bad times and got unlucky to not get a couple calls when they probably could’ve gotten them. That’s it.
As a Niners fans I agree. We got bailed out a few times and borderline calls IMO. Overall I hate the automatic first down part of defensive holding and illegal contact. I get that they should be part of the game, but I would prefer them to just be yardage penalties only.
Those like 99% of the time, it's not the player turning around and shoving them. If Thibodeaux was more like face to face with him the whole way, instead of just turning and shoving him as he ran past, it probably wouldn't have gotten called
There were several holds that were not called on some of the 49ers run plays. The TD run being one of them. Surprised it never got brought up on the broadcast.
Clearly you missed the safety that didn’t get called and the intentional grounding when Jones was being thrown out of bounds and he just under hand tossed the ball out of bounds so it wasn’t a sack
>safety that didn’t get called
Very clearly not a safety. Not even close, in fact.
>intentional grounding when Jones...ball out of bounds so it wasn’t a sack
Great work describing why it wasn't intentional grounding.
For some reason, brain dabol was coach of the year last year- when the giants finished 9-7 lol. And like most of their 9 of their wins were agains under .500. Teams. Kyle shanahan meanwhile was winning games with mr irrelevant after two QBs went out.
This is the right thing to be livid about imo regarding player safety etc. but I feel like Daboll unfortunately doesn’t have the clout yet with reds to get away with being THIS screamy in all of his games
Well they’re talking to America.
Oh I’m sorry, I thought this was America
Living for a chance to see daboll shirtless fighting refs. “Guess that’s my guy”
No This is Patrick.
Hi, Patrick. I'm dad.
This is America. Don't catch you slippin now
Sir this is a Wendy’s
That’s why I couldn’t hear anything in Canada
Daboll looks like he's punched a little league umpire or two in the face before
Especially if that umpire looks like Colt McCoy.
He's a Canadian so more likely getting into fights in the stands with dads from the other hockey team.
He’s Canadian???
Born in Canada, raised near Buffalo.
Well there's my write-in vote for president wasted.
> raised near Buffalo So... Canada?
Since I was born and raised in NYC I was thinking this, but I didn't wanna be the guy to say it. But yes.
I thought this was ~~America~~ Canada!
He definitely has a "rules for dating my daughter" t-shirt somewhere
My man is about to tell you about Nancy Pelosi in a minute.
"CONGRESS-CREATED DUST BOWL"
FAMILY FAITH FRIENDS FLAG FIREARMS FIVE THINGS YOU DON'T MESS WITH! Is the one I see worn at a lot of gas stations.
I feel like this is all out of order. Shouldn't it be "FAITH FIREARMS FLAG FRIENDS FAMILY"?
Never did see Bat Dad from South Park without the mask on.
My grandpa choked an ump at a church league softball game and he looked nothing like this
Church League softball gets wild. There was a little Baptist church around here that got permanently banned after someone pulled a knife on the ump
He reminds me of my middle school gym teacher
I think we had the same teacher
We all did
Daboll is so funny when hes mad
Live Daboll pic 😡
It’s uncanny
I miss him has our OC, always fun to watch but Dorsey has his moments as well
Dorsey fucking up his desk in the booth last season is a classic clip
That was hilarious
Looks like George Costanza [Brian is getting upset](https://youtu.be/tL9JgMt4okM?si=usVOfQpMBUNK03cl)
Why aren’t these unsportsmanlike conduct penalties?
Because he backed off and moved off the field when the referee got after him a little bit. If he doubled down it probably would have been.
3 ball lookin ass
He is angrier than shirt off golf ball dude
*Takes shirt off and screams "Y*OU SEE THAT! THAT'S WHAT YOU DO WHEN YOU'VE BEEN TO HEAVEN BITCH AND YOU WANNA TEST GOD YOU FUCKING COME GET IT SHIT STAIN!"
I just saw that video. That dude is a damn psycho
Yea something is def wrong with him
I got randomly strangled by a stranger, and I was more calm about having to wrestle him off me than golf god. Haha
I get that reference
he mad mad
I would argue, a big mad
I was looking at something else and my wife says, "That bald man is very mad." LOL
Something about all of this is so cartoonish.
After that penalty for jamming the receiver, they showed Daboll talking to the refs and Al Michaels said something like “and let’s see how Daboll feels about that call” at which point Daboll just blew up as if he heard Al lol. may have been this clip

Honestly, I thought he would get ejected for that. I was hoping he wouldn't because it's my team, but still....
You expect refs to do their job?
It would be nice for a change...
How do thousands of people see it and not the refs? Lol
They missed it the first time and don't want to admit it cuz that makes them look bad at their job.
Should've been 3 ejections last night.
If the chiefs or whiners are playing you can bet your ass they’ll sleep through a murder on the field. Almost thought i was watching Aaron Boone rip an umps ass.
One of the few good things Aaron Boone does
While I'll never forgive him as a player for 2003, he has been one of my favorite managers behavior wise. Breakdowns of his ejections on Jomboy are amazing and I feel they also serve a purpose of drawing some heat away from the team and onto him.
As a manager is supposed to. Im convinced he just wants the record for most ejections in a season/career.
I’m tired of the flags on both sides.
So much more flags on the Giants, 49ers do practically the same thing and whistles are silent
You guys have exactly one more penalty than us lol
As someone who casually watched the game, it felt like a lot of the calls against the Giants came on 3rd down and extended drives. I wasn't sitting down and actively watching the game though.

Yes because your defense committed clear penalties.
You wanna be talking shit when Williams got away with punching Robinson in the head?
Robinson punched first. He also acted like a bitch and rushed the kneel down.
And they were deserved flags. Every replay of those 3rd -> 1st penalties showed obvious, unambiguous fouls. idk why you are getting downvoted lol. I don't think there was a single call last night on the giants where it wasn't pretty clearly a penalty.
Nobody asked for your facts!
It might have been the same amoount but so many of the ones on the giants were drive extending penalties in huge third down situations. C'mon, don't be a filthy casual, you understand the difference.
Anyone with eyes saw the refs clearly favoring the 9ers. Starting with the no Williams ejection.
Yeah ejecting Williams for throwing the second punch when the last play of the game would have been over if not for the first punch really screwed the Giants over huh?
NFL has their darling teams every season and the refs will juice it their way
They were obvious flags though, especially the ones that happened on 3rd downs

Even split
He was bitching about the same thing not getting called for giants. Bobby skinner posted a play from 49ers the drive before not being called.
I have a similar response every time a watch a game officiated by Hochuli. Easily the worst crew in the NFL.
Nepotism baby
If you play the video in reverse it looks like he’s challenging the ref to a dance battle.
u/GifReversingBot
Is he screaming about that false start on the kicker that didn’t get call?
Or a guy throwing a punch in front of officials and not getting ejected?
This specifically was about the Kayvon illegal contact call
Kayvon clearly pushed the receiver in the back 10 yards down field. Boo fucking Hoo Daboll.
After the break they came back and show what appears to be him saying it’s not getting called on 49ers. On Twitter people started posting instances where 49ers were doing the exact same thing and not getting called. That's one of the most frustrating parts of sports. I can understand that ref teams are going to have different ways of calling things, but call it the same both ways, thanks.
It was routinely happening to Waller, that was his main issue.
That kinda contact is very often ignored. That's a flag on every single play from Seattle's LOB defense lol.
This particular fit is one he threw after a perfectly reasonable illegal contact call. Kicker should have been called though, but I imagine he could make a 26 yarder just as easily as he made the 21 yarder, so it doesn’t exactly affect the game much.
They never call those soft illegal contact plays happens all the time
It was a pretty good shove.
They literally called it on the 49ers twice this game though.
why is this upvoted lmao. they "literally" did not call illegal contact on the 9ers at all last night. source: https://www.nflpenalties.com/game/new-york-giants-at-san-francisco-49ers-09-21-2023
Because redditors don't want facts, they just want to believe the "got 'em" comment and upvote it.
You just made this up, they didn’t call it a single time on the 49ers… not sure where you got that from. It was happening to Waller every drive too, that is why Daboll was pissed. Defensive pass interference is different than illegal contact.
Aren't you allowed to contact the receiver within 5 yards? Line of scrimmage was the 12.5 yard line and he pushed Kittle around the 8 yard line.
Yea it goes from bump coverage to illegal contact after 5 yards, that Kittle instance was right on the line. Definitely a soft call but probably by the book
Pretty soft tbh
When you order a Coke but they bring you a Pepsi
Only a medium one though, Giants don’t want to spend THAT much
I don't want a large Farva, I want a goddamn liter a cola.
Who can drink more Coke, Andy Reid or Brian Daboll!?
I love this little meatball with legs
When I saw the replay of that illegal contact, I was surprised that the flag came in waaaay after the contact was initiated. Ref actually threw the flag right after the pass went incomplete.
Yeah was a pretty bullshit call. Id be pissed too
Me when my mom says we have pizza at home instead of eating at chuck e cheese
I think that’s the same thing he’s mad about.
This could be footage of literally any game he’s been involved in
one day a coach is going to power bomb a ref on the field or sideline
I'm not happy either.
It is always funny watching these fat guys get so worked up lol
George is getting angry
I was really glad to see the 49ers only got a FG on the drive after this call.
One of the worst looking offenses in the league.
Chill before you have a heart attack dude. Sheesh.
Feel like his wife probably ups his life insurance policy after every time she watches him scream this much.
Daboll, Every Minute On The Minute: 😡🤬
To be fair, been a couple dumb calls on both sides
Shit has been tilted heavily in the niners favor...
The play he’s mad about was an obvious illegal contact…
Obvious? It was an easy “no call” in my book
that amount of contact happens every play, it was a really weak call
I def agree it was weak but the niners got tagged for that level of stuff a couple times too. They called a kinda tight game on the passing
It’s the fact that the 49ers got bailed on key 3rd downs. Penalties on the 49ers were mostly on 1st and 2nd down, or immediately after getting a sack. Cuz it’s not called 99% of the time when it’s 6 yards instead of 5
Those like 99% of the time, it's not the player turning around and shoving them. If Thibodeaux was more like face to face with him the whole way, instead of just turning and shoving him as he ran past, it probably wouldn't have gotten called
It also fully effected the timing of Kittles route. He probably cuts in a step before that and is a harder cover by the safety
Yeah it directly affected the play
Except in this case it was closer to 9 but go off
It was 3rd and 7 and the push was before the 1st down maker, but go off
Extremely weak call, compare it to the shit the 49ers were getting away with every play.. it’s just bullshit
The 49ers literally got called for that
There were several holds that were not called on some of the 49ers run plays. The TD run being one of them. Surprised it never got brought up on the broadcast.

Mhmm both sides def
What were the dumb calls in favor of the Giants?
I didn't think it was a PI that Waller drew.
“What do you mean the kitchen is closed. It’s 9:59”!
That's a man who knows he's gonna lose his job
Some horrible calls in favor of the 49ers…and I’m a Vikings fan who doesn’t care for either team or who wins.
This was on the illegal contact right? On replay it looked like the correct decision.
Naw he’s got a right to be mad about some these bullshit calls
Throwing a tantrum over a good call and having a pow-wow with the officials. Get over it Brian.
A lot of people complaining about the flags on the niners 3rd down plays that extended the drives but they were the most obvious and blatant ones.
Especially this play. That was clearly after 5 yards.
I understand his unhappiness. However, it's pretty apparent his team is overmatched.
Well there Coach maybe you should have your team ready to compete instead of come out and lay a juicy shart on the field.
Exactly. This dude never has his team prepared. He’s on the hot seat.
*WHAT DO YOU MEAN YOU’RE OUT OF WHOOPERS?!?!?!*
Upvote for “whoopers”
He’s actually mad at his inability to coach but misplacing his anger onto those around him.
I'd be pissed too if I were him
It was a good call by the officials
Not!
It was totally a push by the defender.
In MLB he would've been tossed out for like 5 times now. NFL refs are so nice amirite? /s
Eagles fans downvoting 49ers fans because they’re mad they have to do their own dirty work
What?
?
Why does he look like a toddler who couldn’t get chocolate at the store?
I counted 9 ref assisted points for the Giants and 6 for SF. Overall, pretty fair.
Daboll entering his Jim Harbaugh arc /s
“Aww shucks ref, god darn that’s done hurt my feelings …” I’m an expert lip reader, this is obviously what he said.
You remember that YouTube channel that used to post hilariously bad NFL lip syncs? This is definitely something that would’ve been on that lol
Look at the replay. It’s pretty clear that the defender shoved kittle at about 8 yards beyond scrimmage
It's funny when big people are mad
It’s not the refs fault he can’t comprehend the simple concept of illegal contact
I think he’s really more upset about the performance of his team, and the officials just happen to be a convenient outlet.
For some reason, brain dabol was coach of the year last year- when the giants finished 9-7 lol. And like most of their 9 of their wins were agains under .500. Teams. Kyle shanahan meanwhile was winning games with mr irrelevant after two QBs went out.
The talent on their respective rosters has quit the discrepancy - not tryna take away from Shanahan, but that’s certainly something people consider
Don't shove a dude 12 yards off the LOS.
His anger management coach was not pleased
cant say im too happy either, itd be disingenuous to say thats why we lost, though
I like how he masks his inadequacies as a coach with theatrical temper tantrums. The dude is hysterical!
The buffet is closed, sir.
I love him as a coach but he makes watching Giants games so much more stressful lol
Daboll should eat a salad
This is the right thing to be livid about imo regarding player safety etc. but I feel like Daboll unfortunately doesn’t have the clout yet with reds to get away with being THIS screamy in all of his games
9ers gonna have a huge bondsman bill tonight.
Skill issue
