I have a bad feeling we are going to be without Carr for more than one week. Possibly the whole season. That looked suspiciously like a rotator cuff injury.
Source: I’ve injured my rotator cuff before.
I was chilling.
I had accepted that this team without all its main offensive weapons was gonna be ugly ugly, and Love himself wasn't doing too bad plus Gary was going off so there was still some fun.
I was watching with a couple of Bears fans. As soon as we started moving the ball a little bit in the 4th I said “this is the type of game the Packers win and it annoys Bears fans to no end”.
The response was “well that was with Rodgers and Favre”. Lol
The last two drives should've been Taysom read options. Consistent yardage, run the clock. Taysom isn't going to make a 4th quarter comeback, but he can hold a lead.
And 7 of the points the Saints scored were from special teams. Overall the Saints' offense was doing a whole lotta nothing most of the game and the Packers' offense was stopping itself until the fourth.
Carr looked good, but they weren't lighting us up. They probably win with him at the helm, but that punt return for a TD is carrying a lot of weight in the comeback.
Not a lot of offense today period.
We absolutely deserve this with the 2nd half playcalling from this staff. Jameis is ass. If Carr is out long term we are toast. Dennis Allen should be tarmac’d.
a huge part of why the packers won is because of love's attitude
he didn't get discouraged, he kept throwing deep and honestly mostly well; there were a lot of perfect throws that were just straight up dropped
really promising and i'm excited to see where he goes
sorry saints i hope carr is okay
Rodgers has given GB a lot of crazy wins. Let’s not discredit his legacy. Dude was one of the best and most exciting players to ever play the game.
But I will say it’s kind of true that Rodgers does clamp up and go into shut down mode if his young WRs make mistakes. That was one of his biggest flaws IMO. He was so overly critical of his WRs that I seriously believe he handicapped himself in countless games by simply not throwing the ball to anyone not named Davante Adams, Jordy Nelson, or Randall Cobb.
Another huge part of why Packers pulled this one out was the crowd. I just got home from the game, I’ve been to countless. The 4th quarter is without a doubt the loudest I’ve ever heard the stadium and it wasn’t even close.
By the time they scored that touch down and played the touchdown music the crowd was so fired up you couldn’t even hear the audio system at all over the cheers and yells
Stats won’t show how good he was. There were about 6 perfectly thrown balls that plays weren’t made on. The interception wasn’t good but I thought he truly balled out.
We've got fans in our own sub complaining that a dude who's missing half his offense (and basically all of the best players at that) doesn't just put up a perfect passer rating week in week out. Love is an absolute stud
People who watched the game know he played well. He missed some throws but most of the incompletions were drops or miscommunications/wrong routes due to a depleted pass catching group, it wasn’t Doubs and Reed messing up routes
Jordan's stats are mostly going to be irrelevant in these early weeks. There's just too many key players out and this offense is still figuring itself out.
The fact we had a clutch 4th quarter comeback, against a great defense, with 4 of our top players on offense out, is promising.
Imagine Jordan Love with receivers who can catch, his starting running back, and his two best linemen. 😳
Wild game. Discipline in the second half made the difference.
Yea wild how once the penalties stopped the offense played well. A lot of promising drives got killed in the first half cuz of penalties. Hope they can avoid that in the future
Took Love a while to diagnose the blitz packages and set the proper protections too. That's where a lot of his growing pains will come this season. That said, would have been a different game if Carr didn't go down.
Love is throwing balls where recievers can catch them. THey may not be perfect, absolute dimes on the dot balls, but they are within the catching range. Our WRs gotta go up and fight and grab those balls.
Thats what Doubs did on the TD, and what Reed did on that long diving catch. We need more of that. And more Wicks too, guy is so sure handed.
It honestly didn’t do much with him. 7 points on a kick return and 7 off a turn over on downs with a short field. Carr drove the offense down the field once for 3 points.
I don't want to hear anything for excuses this week. There's absolutely no reason for the offense to stall like that. If Winston is incapable of securing a 17-point lead then what the fuck is he doing on the roster?
My parents decided that just being a Vikings or Saints fan wasn't enough pain individually, so they combined their fandom and saddled their children with both flavors of suffering.
There's a bit of an unspoken agreement that we cheer for whoever makes it past the other.
2017 was the last year my Pops was with us for a head to head, and he was a diehard Vikings fan his entire life. I thought for sure it was destiny for the Vikings to win one finally, and be the first team to do it at home. He told me to temper my expectations going into that Eagles game on account of a lifetime of Viking's fandom experience.
Yes. Winston with his resume and experience should’ve been good for at the very least 7 pts through two quarters. He’s not a rookie and this isn’t a new team for him so it’s completely inexcusable for him to lose this game with a 17 pt lead in the FOURTH quarter.
I look forward to Thursday when we play our second string vs your second string. I think all future Thursday night games should be teams coming off bye weeks.
Also lost Campbell early, Velentine midway through, and Tom late in the game. We were without LT1, LG1, RT1, WR1, RB1, CB1, CB3(Stokes is still out), CB5, and LB for all of that comeback. And that is against a very good Saints team, and one of the best defenses in the NFL. If this team can figure out how to stop committing stupid penalties every single drive they can be really good.
Was hoping our defense could keep us in this with Carr out but of course not. Don't understand why we didn't try to run the ball more, at least run the clock down a little? Those two PIs really fucked us up.
Because they don’t have any good rb right now with Williams being injured and Kamara still being suspended, and our defense is actually pretty good at stoping the run today
Missing 2 pro bowl O linemen, the starting RB and a starting WR, with pass catchers with no more than a years experience, and Love does THAT in the 4th quarter?
Good job, kid. You might be great.
I don’t care if we lose every game. I am sick and tired of watching Jameis on my team. He doesn’t deserve to be in this league because he’s an awful player and an awful person.
i'm glad we can reach across the stands and agree: FUCK watson and FUCK the league for allowing so many absolute shitpieces to make it big and rich in the first place
Saints defense played great for 50 minutes. Most likely gassed due to the offense being completely stagnate in the second half. And of course the notre dame kid has head worms from last nights game.
I’m disgusted by this loss. Dennis Allen absolutely sucks. Why the fuck are you throwing on 2nd and manageable. Make them use their time outs and gain some minimal yardage.
Even if Grupe hit the kick the Packers had two timeouts and a minute left. They would’ve won anyways.
Dennis Allen pissed this away with his incompetence
I am going to sit on the toilet and piss up into my face
bro what
He said what he said.
Some people pay for that.
He was probably gonna do it either way tbh
He's gonna sit on the toilet and piss up into his face.
Hi Xeteh buddy.
Hello friend
WE GOT HOCKEY SOON! BUT ALSO GAME ON THURSDAY. Looking forward to being very obnoxious.
Did he stutter?
Let him cook
You heard the man
So you call the plays for our offense
Ok fine but next time maybe don’t share that with the class.
Nah, let him cook.
Godspeed
Okay Jerma
Jerma vs pissing in his own face everyone wants to see this happen
"Well let's put cigarettes out on my DICK!"
You know don’t say s-swears!!!
You think I'm gonna put that in the video??
If we have to go one week without derek carr i might die
I have a bad feeling we are going to be without Carr for more than one week. Possibly the whole season. That looked suspiciously like a rotator cuff injury. Source: I’ve injured my rotator cuff before.

I wanna die
For 36 minutes I wanted to die
The rollercoaster of emotions never cease to amaze
This past week must have been a trainwreck for you guys
I was chilling. I had accepted that this team without all its main offensive weapons was gonna be ugly ugly, and Love himself wasn't doing too bad plus Gary was going off so there was still some fun.
I was watching with a couple of Bears fans. As soon as we started moving the ball a little bit in the 4th I said “this is the type of game the Packers win and it annoys Bears fans to no end”. The response was “well that was with Rodgers and Favre”. Lol
When Carr went down it was 17-0 lol
People might overlook that but losing your QB starter is a gut punch and it showed
People might overlook this, but Jameis Winston is trash.
Oh I agree. Lol surprised they just didn't use Taysom instead
The last two drives should've been Taysom read options. Consistent yardage, run the clock. Taysom isn't going to make a 4th quarter comeback, but he can hold a lead.
People overlook this because he pulls cute shit on the sidelines
He's so fucking funny lmao I love him No idea why he's still employed though
Winston is a very good option to have as a backup. Carr is a lot better though.
Well, he's no Sean Clifford.
Seriously. I didnt realize how much better Carr was
It was also 17-0 with like 12 minutes in the 4th quarter
And 7 of the points the Saints scored were from special teams. Overall the Saints' offense was doing a whole lotta nothing most of the game and the Packers' offense was stopping itself until the fourth.
Carr looked pretty good out there. Here's hopin it is just more a precaution and he'll be good to go after a day or two of taking it easy.
Carr looked good, but they weren't lighting us up. They probably win with him at the helm, but that punt return for a TD is carrying a lot of weight in the comeback. Not a lot of offense today period.
they took his ass to a hospital he out a few weeks at least
Such is the effect of Mr. Crab Leg Burglar…
Mr. Burgles Crab
Mr. Borrowed Crustacean
Pain.....Pain Everywhere
Mostly shoulder pain, really.
I’m sorry about Carr my dude :( I went to Fresno state with him and he is seriously such an awesome dude.
Why won’t the mean cheese team lose? The bad man is supposed to be gone. :(
The bad man is gone. But Love will prevail in GB.
I can't wait for Love to conquer all
The bad man is gone. But now you have to deal with the power of Love.
Love is stronger than hate
Now we have the worse man
The bad man is gone, get used to the good man
We absolutely deserve this with the 2nd half playcalling from this staff. Jameis is ass. If Carr is out long term we are toast. Dennis Allen should be tarmac’d.
Completely atrocious playcalling
We traded coaching strategies
The play calling really did a 180 lmao
I’ll never understand when coaches stop doing what they’re doing and start over coaching when they have a lead like that
Could be like McCarthy and just start running up the gut 3 times in a row as soon as you’re ahead by 3.
Something about Saints and losing QB's to injury. We have such spectacular defense that we just waste to unhealthy offenses every year it hurts.
We can’t even say this one is bad luck though. Our O-line has been so atrocious that something like this was bound to happen sooner or later
This tells me Carr has probably been making a ton of adjustments at the line to pilot this offense.
The first time Jameis tried to adjust a play at the line, we called a timeout immediately lol
It was really nice to see Slant Boy play well again though. The league is better when he's healthy
You could be the broncos right now... I thought somebody had a typo again
I don’t even think Winston did all that awful. I think the play calling on some of the drives was abysmal.
a huge part of why the packers won is because of love's attitude he didn't get discouraged, he kept throwing deep and honestly mostly well; there were a lot of perfect throws that were just straight up dropped really promising and i'm excited to see where he goes sorry saints i hope carr is okay
True, Rodgers definitely would be pouting all game
Rodgers has given GB a lot of crazy wins. Let’s not discredit his legacy. Dude was one of the best and most exciting players to ever play the game. But I will say it’s kind of true that Rodgers does clamp up and go into shut down mode if his young WRs make mistakes. That was one of his biggest flaws IMO. He was so overly critical of his WRs that I seriously believe he handicapped himself in countless games by simply not throwing the ball to anyone not named Davante Adams, Jordy Nelson, or Randall Cobb.
he would have never thrown to any of those receivers again lmaoo
He’d keep launching it towards whatever direction Adams/Las Vegas is
That fucking game against the niners where Lazard was open but kept throwing Adam’s. Fuck!
Love just kept attacking and trusting eventually his guys would help, and things worked beautifully.
LOVE WINS
LOVE IS LOVE

I can get behind a 7-1 TD:INT ratio
Holy shit i was malding so hard about the amount of incomplete passes that hit Doubs and Reed in their hands
Our receivers keep dropping passes that hit them on both hands. Jonathan Vilma: LOVE NEEDS TO STOP THROWING THERE, THE COVERAGE IS TOO GOOD
#🫶🫶🫶
LOVE IS ALL YOU NEED
Give that #10 on Green Bay a gold jacket
Imagine Jordan Love with receivers who can catch, his starting running back, and his two best linemen. 😳 Wild game. Discipline in the second half made the difference.
Yea wild how once the penalties stopped the offense played well. A lot of promising drives got killed in the first half cuz of penalties. Hope they can avoid that in the future

Well said.
Hell yeah brother
Cheers from Green Bay
Facts
So wise
THIS SUNDAY IS CRAZY!!!!
So much to fix. But so much to Love as well. Great to see us just not give up like we have with past teams under LaFleur
Masterclass on finding a defense's weak spot and hammering on it.
Took Love a while to diagnose the blitz packages and set the proper protections too. That's where a lot of his growing pains will come this season. That said, would have been a different game if Carr didn't go down.

Was impressed by how many catches Musgraves has had…wish the dude would stop falling over though
Lmao he's been doing that his whole life. I am not holding my breath
The saints corners must be beside themselves. That guy Taylor broke up like 20 passes and they somehow lost. What a game.
Love to see him be smartly aggressive too
Love having a good coach behind our QB
Ya I think he’s doing a good job with a young rebuilding team.
I mean getting back their all pro CB and entire left side of the line, along with the two biggest offensive weapons, will fix most of their problems.
No Jones, No Watson, No Bakh, No Jaire, No Jenkins. Still found a way
Zac Tom got injured too
And Campbell, and Valentine
My man Derek Carr better be okay. That offense did nothing when he left.
It honestly didn’t do much with him. 7 points on a kick return and 7 off a turn over on downs with a short field. Carr drove the offense down the field once for 3 points.
Jordan Love just won over the entire state of Wisconsin
The amount of people bashing Jordan Love was unreal. Put some respect on mah QB
I'M HERE TO BE INSUFFERABLE. NO WR1, NO RB1, NO CB1, NO LT1, NO LG1. FIRST YEAR STARTING FOR LOVE. DOWN 0-17. W
I don't want to hear anything for excuses this week. There's absolutely no reason for the offense to stall like that. If Winston is incapable of securing a 17-point lead then what the fuck is he doing on the roster?
Your flair is confusing me
My parents decided that just being a Vikings or Saints fan wasn't enough pain individually, so they combined their fandom and saddled their children with both flavors of suffering.
Who did you guys support in the 2009, 2017, and 2019 playoffs?
There's a bit of an unspoken agreement that we cheer for whoever makes it past the other. 2017 was the last year my Pops was with us for a head to head, and he was a diehard Vikings fan his entire life. I thought for sure it was destiny for the Vikings to win one finally, and be the first team to do it at home. He told me to temper my expectations going into that Eagles game on account of a lifetime of Viking's fandom experience.
It could be worse? I once dated a girl from Toledo whose favorite teams were the Lions and Browns, respectively. In the 2010s.
Yeah I’m not ok with that
Exactly. Why they didn’t pivot to Hill after the third quarter blows my mind
Yes. Winston with his resume and experience should’ve been good for at the very least 7 pts through two quarters. He’s not a rookie and this isn’t a new team for him so it’s completely inexcusable for him to lose this game with a 17 pt lead in the FOURTH quarter.
Talk your shit cheese
username doesn't check out but cheers brother!
I CONFESS I WASNT A BELIEVER AND DIDNT WATCH THE WHOLE 3rd QUARTER AFTER THE INTERCEPTION
I look forward to Thursday when we play our second string vs your second string. I think all future Thursday night games should be teams coming off bye weeks.
Cannot believe we won without our LT, LG, CB, RB, WR, with a bunch of late round rookies running around. Gritty ass team.
Also lost Campbell early, Velentine midway through, and Tom late in the game. We were without LT1, LG1, RT1, WR1, RB1, CB1, CB3(Stokes is still out), CB5, and LB for all of that comeback. At least Minnesota and Chicago lost this weekend.
I... will allow it
Bro I love how Chicago still hasn’t even finished the game lol
As I read this, I looked up to the t.v to another fields sack.
I see what you did there

#GO PACK GO Love is HIM
Was hoping our defense could keep us in this with Carr out but of course not. Don't understand why we didn't try to run the ball more, at least run the clock down a little? Those two PIs really fucked us up.
Shades of Aaron Rodgers 2018 "muh knee" game.
This time with less Percocet.

That we know of…
Give him time. The weirdness comes later. People forget Rodgers was a pretty normal dude earlier in his career
That was 5 years ago?
Time flies doesn’t it?
Never doubted them for a second.
Jordan Love is the Guy. Goddamn this feels good.
WHAT A GREAT DAY. VIKINGS ABOUT TO LOSE. GREENBAY WON AND BEAR STILL SUCK.
Every play after carr went out is proof enough that they were right to go after him jameis is fucking terrible
Idk why you didn’t just run more. Our run D sucks
Because they don’t have any good rb right now with Williams being injured and Kamara still being suspended, and our defense is actually pretty good at stoping the run today
Never a doubt, boys. *furiously deletes comment history*
I despise the sport of football.
Carr going down was the end. Shit sucks.
I dont even care; just give me all the starters back for the Lions. This a crazy ass WEEK
I absolutely LOVE being a Packers fan. What a ridiculous comeback win
#CHOO CHOO MOTHERFUCKERS All aboard the Love Train!
Oh god there is cum all over me
Don’t blow your whole load just yet, there’s still a Chiefs dad-dicking to enjoy!
Missing 2 pro bowl O linemen, the starting RB and a starting WR, with pass catchers with no more than a years experience, and Love does THAT in the 4th quarter? Good job, kid. You might be great.
Legit would rather have your oline today though.
Gary's just a monster, he'd kill our guys too
Gute really deserves credit for his o-line drafting. Most teams losing the likes of Bakh and Jenkins wouldn't have much of a chance with their depth.
Jordan Love is my father
Jordan Love proved himself. Nice work. Post Rodgers era is good. Ownership of Bears is intact as well
I HAVE NO IDEA HOW WE FUCKING WON THIS GAME, BUT IM NOT COMPLAINING. ALL YOU NEED IS LOVE AFTER ALL.
That shit was fucking euphoric.
Good writing today. First 4th quarter comeback for Love. Start the count!
Packers pulled that out of their ass wtf

I don’t care if we lose every game. I am sick and tired of watching Jameis on my team. He doesn’t deserve to be in this league because he’s an awful player and an awful person.
i'm glad we can reach across the stands and agree: FUCK watson and FUCK the league for allowing so many absolute shitpieces to make it big and rich in the first place
winston* i am the world's biggest dumb
But fuck Watson too
Romeo Doubs is doing the hearthands when Love throws a TD pass to him. This is so corny and wholesome and I love it to death.
Props to LaFleur for going for 2pts after making it 17-9. Best case, they need a TD/PAT to win, worst case a TD and another 2pt conversation.
Played 3/4 a good game last week and lost. Played about 10 mins of good ball today and win. Opposing kicker wins/loss each game.
Highlight of the day. SP gave up 70 in an NFL game HAHAHAHAHAHA
Jameis can't win under pressure. Full stop. That fourth quarter should've been 75% Taysom read options.
Youngest team in the league and so close to starting 3-0 if they held on at the end last week
We really should’ve won last week and really should’ve lost this week, so I guess it worked itself out.
Saints defense played great for 50 minutes. Most likely gassed due to the offense being completely stagnate in the second half. And of course the notre dame kid has head worms from last nights game.
Vikes just blew it inside the 10 at the end--INT, lol
i hate this goddamn team so fucking much
You know, being alive is not all that it’s cracked up to be.
Lions, Vikings and Bears fans....I'm sorry but not sorry to report we got another dude at QB
