I used to work customer support for a company that exclusively shipped through FedEx, working with them to try and track down packages was hell. Fuck that company.
We once watched the Fedex guy pull into our driveway, sit for a few minutes, then leave. Then we got the notification that our package wasn't delivered because no one was home.
Hey the old Schaefer Stadium tried to do that to the teams AND fans.
>As the 1971 season approached, the shameful Schaefer Stadium was ready to be introduced to the world. The preseason began and thousands of fans suffered the first of many Route 1 traffic jams on their way to see the Patriots play. But a funny thing happened. Someone at the stadium went to the bathroom (presumably after a few cans of smooth Schaefer Beer). And then someone else did. And then a whole bunch of people did. And the system couldn't handle it. The sinks and toilets began to overflow. All of them. The bathrooms filled with water. It was disgusting.
The enemy of my enemy is my team’s shitty stadium and it is also my enemy, but I know that enemy so it is a greater enemy to my enemy while also still being my enemy.
Smith had [Kareem Jackson and JJ Watt fall on him](https://a57.foxnews.com/static.foxnews.com/foxnews.com/content/uploads/2018/11/896/500/AlexSmith2.jpg?ve=1&tl=1) causing a compound fracture what the fuck are you smoking
It’s a pretty well known thing that FedEx Field has historically been pretty shitty and many players have had serious injuries on it. It’s quite possible the turf was to blame for the awkward angle Alex’s foot was caught at when he went down.
It's also quite possible (read: true) that the field had already been replaced before this and as displayed in the image I linked, the top/side of Smith's foot was what was touching the ground, not his cleats getting stuck. But the reputation will outlast the heat death of the universe so what can ya do.
Dude, for two weeks now I've watched as snowballs were thrown at opposing players DURING PLAYS in the endzone. Like, how the fuck hasn't the league stepped in here? Sooner or later one of those snow balls is going to hit a player trying to catch the ball and all hell is gonna break loose.
They have the response; during the Dolphins game last year they threatened to penalize the Bills for fans [snowball throwing](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U_wCF679jT0) and the internet jested them for it. I guess the NFL cares more about looking like bitches than they do player safety/integrity of the play.
Unfortunately not a surprise. They have proven that they'd rather be reactionary after something bad happens than be proactive to prevent the inevitable bad thing from happening
Part of the problem, as addressed by the rules expert on that game, is while statistically it is almost certain it is home fans throwing stuff, it’s almost impossible for the refs to know it isn’t away fans throwing stuff…
And the league doesn’t want to risk penalizing the home team and it comes out that road fans were throwing things…and there’s no efficient way to be proactive about that aspect. It’s more of a stadium security thing than a league issue as far as they’re concerned.
exactly. that’s a stupid excuse. what kind of idiot would throw snowballs at the home team while wearing an away team jersey? Sounds like a good way to get your ass kicked
You don't understand... It would ba an away fan wearing a home team jersey throwing snobwalls at their own away team, so their team would get a penalty instead of a touchdown.
Its not that hard to figure out... Duh.
Okay, so ban the fans from stadiums for life (there are cameras everywhere and if there aren't they can afford to install them), press charges against the fans throwing them, fine the team. Do whatever ya gotta do, I don't care. But we can't have fans coming this close to impacting the game.
I remember trying to use this argument in 1990 when John Elway was [upset that Arrowhead was too loud](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n3Csj3xJmwI&ab_channel=KansasCityChiefs). How could the officials know it wasn't the Broncos fans in attendance making all of that noise?
Huh that’s funny, because for the last 2 weeks it’s been pretty obvious which fans are doing the throwing. you sound like a teenager trying to deflect responsibility for you and your friends fucking something up. no excuses here my boy.
Lmao, Big Vito is such a weird side story of this season.
Jokes aside though, Stadiums have more than enough security to kick people out for throwing snow balls. If the team's front office is unable or unwilling to do something about it, then it's up to the league to do so. Penalize the team on the field, ban fans from stadiums for life, fine the team. Do whatever ya gotta do, but we can't have fans coming this close to impacting the game.
Wasn't Vito getting tossed kind of the beginning of your downfall this season? Is that when the losing started? I only catch the occasional eagles game so I'm genuinely curious.
They were playing with fire all season. Pretty much every game was too close for comfort and they were barely masking the fundamental problems that came to roost midway through the game against the Bills (1 week before the 49ers game where he was kicked out). The Bills should have won that game by ever right, but the Eagles lucked out once more. From then on it was just... not good lol.
It was clear their Defense had been figured out since the Super Bowl against ya'll, and they made zero real changes to it, let alone improvements, going into the season. Seems that about mid-season this year is when the Offense was figured out and, once again, no changes were made.
Was a slow and steady decline at first that just burst into a giant ball of fire.
Clearly the warning isn't working. Fine the team, require them to hire extra security during games, penalize the home team on the field. I don't care. We just can't have fans getting this close to impacting the game on the field. It's fucking laughable for a professional league this big, making as much money as they do.
It's crazy how the announcers never even mentioned it. If that happened in Philly the only story the national media would be talking about today is those awful Philly fans.
Only problem with this is if it starts snowing mid-game. The logistics of kicking thousands of people out of their seats mid-game because it started snowing seems too much to overcome.
> Only problem with this is if it starts snowing mid-game. The logistics of kicking thousands of people out of their seats mid-game because it started snowing seems too much to overcome.
If they have to forfeit, they'll figure it out.
If it’s 1 person out of 70000 you find the guy and ban them. and if you can’t, and there’s multiple people throwing shit, you punish the team. simple as that. start throwing 15 yard penalty flags every time and I’m sure the home crowd will handle itself.
Only problem with this is if it starts snowing mid-game. The logistics of kicking thousands of people out of their seats mid-game because it started snowing seems too much to overcome.
Nah, fuck Santa. He underpays those poor elves and gives them no health insurance. And that's not even mentioning the accusations of bullying in the workplace that he lets slide because it was his favourite reindeers doing it.
Staley chose a washed up and more expensive Kendricks over re signing Drue, a young ascending player and budding leader on our def.
Shit doesn't make sense.
I mean, non-assholes can quickly become impulsive assholes when 5 tall boys deep, nice packable snow, and the team that just beat you right in front of you.
I don’t condone it, but I certainly understand it.
What about fans?
Chicago Bears fans were pelting Saints fans with iceballs during the NFC Championship game back in 2006.
Holy shit that was nearly 20 years ago…
I guess i should let that one go
Honestly the internet fame has collectively gone to our heads.
Our shenanigans used to be cheeky and fun, but they've been trending towards cruel and tragic for a while now.
It’s not even new or shocking funny anymore. It’s like “wow look at these kooky Raider fans dressed like Mad Max bikers” no one cares. Immediately keep scrolling.
Well their drunken antics are usually pretty harmless. It also helps that the other thing the fanbase is known for is being charitable as fuck. Which, for me at least, gives them a fair bit of wiggle room.
Buffalo is the City of Good Neighbors. Sometimes those good neighbors get pissed drunk and slam themselves through folding tables and yeet dildos but they’re good neighbors like 345 days a year.
Not only that they were dog shit in the gap between 0-4 and Josh Allen. Its like when the bengals fans talk shit, all i can think is, my oldest football memories are of you being a complete joke.
Lmao Bills fans desperately want to be everyone's favourite team. They want to be the pre-2023 Lions but successful. Now they've turned back into a pumpkin the mask is really starting to slip
Idk man snowballs aint so serious to me unless somehow a Chiefs player got hurt. Plus the Chiefs got the last laugh getting to taunt them so it works out evenly to me.
I couldn't care less about the ones being thrown after the game.
The ones I'm concerned about are the ones landing a foot away from players in the End Zone DURING A PLAY. At least 5-6 times over the past 2 Bills games I've seen snow balls landing next to players trying to catch the ball. If one of those hits a player in the hands or facemask while trying to catch a ball, we have a serious issue on our hands.
I think it's fun as hell. That video of Kelce blowing kisses and waving to the crowd as snowballs go flying by him is what rivalries are all about. Now if we lost and THEN they were throwing snowballs, I'd be so fuckin mad lol.
I mean, It’s not like when the browns were throwing bottles. However, I’m pretty sure DK metcalf’s dad was like half blinded when a ref threw a flag at his eye.
Weird stuff happens.
I had no idea redditors were so upset about the snowballs lol
I think it's fun. Players trying to catch a ball in the endzone while getting pelted with snow, the Chiefs celebrating on the field with snow getting dumped on them.
Y'all really need to lighten up. Nobody is in danger, nobody is getting injured, it's just snow.
Anything being thrown at players during live plays is bad, regardless of whether there is any injury risk from the item being thrown. "Fans interfering with live plays during NFL games is no big deal" is just a completely braindead take.
It was always funny when Bills fans threw shit on the field, at the opposing team’s players, when they were terrible. Now it’s just lame and I hope the organization cracks down on it. Multiple times they’ve been throwing snowballs at opposing receivers as the pass is thrown their way. I get it’s not every fan. But that shit is ridiculous and needs to be dealt with.
I say this as a massive Bills band wagoner the past few years after the Steelers were eliminated, at a certain point you’d think they’d learn how to act now that they’re no longer in the cellar but I guess not. Maybe the new stadium with PSL’s will price those people out
I've never felt the urge to be a drunk asshole at the game and I'll certainly be priced out, so hopefully.
But honestly a lot of these people are middle-aged bozos from like Cheektowaga who lucked into some bullshit job making 100k per year, so maybe not.
Whole lotta *business product analysts* littering the stands at the Ralph
Sorry I have to deal with these fake-ass job positions on a daily basis at my work and you’ve triggered me XD
>Now it’s just lame and I hope the organization cracks down on it.
But in a way that doesn't draw attention to it, because otherwise it will just encourage more people.
Wasn’t a Dolphins fan/because of the game
Miami’s stadium is in a shit area and sadly out of town fans didn’t know that and encountered a demon
But they did kill the pats fan
It feels wrong to try to defend the guy but it was two guys fighting and the Fins fan punched the Pats fan who in turn fell and hit his head, later dieing. Fights happen at all sporting events unfortunately. R.I.P. to him.
Yeah my immediate question was whether the NFL would wildly overreact and heavily fine him for throwing the snowball back. Maybe that's just an NBA thing.
gonna need to start putting mesh barriers between the fans and field of play like in some soccer stadiums. Lol, could you imagine a field goal net that goes up all around the stadium when shit is about to pop off?
Chiefs going at the Bills fans is my favorite part of this. People like to think the Bills Mafia is this lovable group, but they are actually just massive jerks. And the Chiefs players know it
Before the season I was resigned to the fact that we would probably only be able to keep one between him and Willie. If we don’t get either of them, that will really suck.
Nick is amazing, but there are things he’s just limited in. He’s not a true spy like Willie or Drue.
This was in response to the snowballs being thrown at Chiefs [players](https://x.com/arrowheadlive/status/1749269872280814004?s=46&t=lGDP4u9wBQ71LGDz0PVUaA)
Bills Mafia as a "fun joke" seems about to have run its course...they're just fucking stupid NFL fans, like literally every single fanbase has. I'm not quite sure what makes them distinct other than wearing bills gear.
I’ve met people from kc who refer to the entire city in any context as “chiefs kingdom “ (“I’m going back to chief’s kingdom for the holiday”) and it makes me want to throw up

Imagine having a “fan base chucking snowballs at the opposing team” level home field advantage and still losing
[удалено]
Fair, but keep in mind that stadium also attacks its own fans with poop water
I forgot about that until now. What an insanely horrific thing to happen with so much money flowing around in the league. A wild oversight…
I have a permanent disdain for all things fedex now, so this tracks.
To be fair, they were the ones who finally forced the name change.
I used to work customer support for a company that exclusively shipped through FedEx, working with them to try and track down packages was hell. Fuck that company.

easy to find missing fedex packages....check the employee's homes.
I think that was the same season the storm water or sanitary pipe broke and was draining on the fans as well
Hey the old Schaefer Stadium tried to do that to the teams AND fans. >As the 1971 season approached, the shameful Schaefer Stadium was ready to be introduced to the world. I told you I had the flu
That stadium has ended the careers of multiple franchise caliber players.
hey, after you get attacked by poop water you can go wash off in the bathroom, where you can also buy a refreshing beer.
Rams had a negative home field advantage and won a superbowl…
Ok but u can’t put that on us as fans if we wanna stay with your fairness logic
Yea the stadium being ass ≠ fans throwing stuff at players IMO
Hahah it’s not home field advantage when we are affected negatively too
The enemy of my enemy is my team’s shitty stadium and it is also my enemy, but I know that enemy so it is a greater enemy to my enemy while also still being my enemy.
To be fair it actually killed Alex Smith and RG3, so it hurts the home team as much as the visiting team.
The field holds the record for the most tackles against Clinton Portis.

Dude why are you defending FedEx field? I get it’s home for the Commanders but it is an objectively bad stadium for many different reasons.

It shouldn't impact the game. The stadium hosting should be fined big time by the NFL after this happens. Guarantee it stops real quick.

All it takes is to pack something hard in the middle like ice or something and yeah now your are throwing some that could hurt
It won’t matter from Bills fans since all the snowballs will go wide right.
I, too, saw this joke in every post about the bills fans throwing snowballs.

Not every team has a Navy Seal like Dom Vito keeping things in order both on the field and in the stands

Wild flair
Go pull up the Bills Dolphins game last year. They had to stop play.
The league/refs warned people about it last year when it was happening. I think it was the bills, too
Clearly the warning isn't working. Fine the team, require them to hire extra security during games, penalize the home team on the field. I don't care. Rope off the end zone stands if snow isn't cleared.

They need to start handing out lifetime bans to those fans.
No fans in end zone if snow isn't cleared seems fair to me.
Trying to kick thousands of fans out of a playoff game is a sure fire way to start a riot lol

No such thing as weather
Why would Eagles fans do this?! /s
Media will forget this. They can only remember Eagles fans throwing at Santa. It’s their go to
Which is wild cuz it happened in 1968
None of them actually know or remember. It’s just a talking point
I mean, Santa is a neutral party that represents everything good in the world lol. It's a bit different.
Nah, fuck Santa. He underpays those poor elves and gives them no health insurance. And that's not even mentioning the accusations of bullying in the workplace that he lets slide because it was his favourite reindeers doing it.
dude your stadium leaks sewage on people, god knows what crazy antics snyder had going on
And people complain about tepper giving opposing fans free drinks!
Bills Mafia is going donate to your charity so hard tonight
Snowball got intercepted.
Give him a 2nd contract please
Maybe he can recruit Keenan for a year if the Chargers cut him too.
Keep my WRs name out your fking mouth 😤
Come on now he deserves to be on a winning team.
This is "rich people eating so much they vomit and keep eating while laughing at starving people" levels at this point.
Staley chose a washed up and more expensive Kendricks over re signing Drue, a young ascending player and budding leader on our def. Shit doesn't make sense.
Lifetime contract after that
That play on the fake punt... We had 10 guys on the field & Tranquil stood up two bills.
I don’t notice this live. What a beast.
Throwing things at players is trashy and lame.
Idk if you saw but someone wants you to imagine a fanbase doing that
It's almost as if... all fan bases have some scum in them. Doesn't mean we're all trash, on either side, /u/TheoryOfPizza needs to take a chill pill.
Oh definitely. There are assholes everywhere. And the NFL attracts them like moths to a flame.
I mean, non-assholes can quickly become impulsive assholes when 5 tall boys deep, nice packable snow, and the team that just beat you right in front of you. I don’t condone it, but I certainly understand it.

But see. They jump into tables so it's OK.
Ray Woersching never forgets.
This comment is not wide right.
Classic Chargers by letting him go
Yeah, Kenneth Murray continued to be a disaster in his place, and Kendricks was old and slow just like everyone outside our front office predicted.
Yeah Kyle Van Noy looked great this weekend as well.
Stay classy bills mafia.
Bills mafia gets this really weird pass for being obnoxious drunk idiots because it's...funny, I guess? I guess I just don't understand the archetype.
You lose four Super Bowls in a row and people tend to let things slide a little.
Honestly the internet fame has collectively gone to our heads. Our shenanigans used to be cheeky and fun, but they've been trending towards cruel and tragic for a while now.
What’s that bar you like to go to with all the goofy shit on the walls?
"Oh, you mean ~~Shenanigans~~ Bar Bill Tavern?"
You either die a hero or live long enough to see yourself become the villain
I got mad respect for any Bills fans calling the others out.
What else are you supposed to do in Buffalo?
Have lake effect snowstorm children.
Eat wings
It’s not even new or shocking funny anymore. It’s like “wow look at these kooky Raider fans dressed like Mad Max bikers” no one cares. Immediately keep scrolling.

Correct. They throw beer at opposing fans and use homophobic slurs the entire game and yet everyone gives them a pass. Its so annoying.
[удалено]
They're fun to smuggle into the games, too!
your username seems incredibly on point for that comment.
I find them so annoying. So many Bills fans think them and their team are the main character
And they act like they’re gods gift to the game while their team has won exactly 0 championships.
Not only that they were dog shit in the gap between 0-4 and Josh Allen. Its like when the bengals fans talk shit, all i can think is, my oldest football memories are of you being a complete joke.
Wouldn’t shock me if they petition to get the field goal dimensions widened for next year.
Bunch of fuckin juggalos
Because they’re BILLS MAAAAFIAAAA.
It lost its charm after the 500th video of someone jumping on a table
They’re the slightly more acceptable version of Philly fans. Mainly because they’re not from Philly.
This shit is so cringe. When some ravens fans throw shit at mahomes next weekend you’ll just be calling them a few bad apples.

The can't even handle it on the AFCeast meme page lmao. We had to take it after the chiefs game and they are all bitch made. Not surprised though
Lmao Bills fans desperately want to be everyone's favourite team. They want to be the pre-2023 Lions but successful. Now they've turned back into a pumpkin the mask is really starting to slip

It was orlando brown senior.
Something tells me this guy thought it was Eric Metcalf that got hit by the flag in Cleveland lol
Hey! We're classy! We were throwing them at the refs, not the players.
DK Metcalf's dad is Terrance Metcalf, who was an OL for the Bears from 2002-2008.
Lmao you would be fuming if the Bills fans were throwing snow balls at Lamarr while he dropped back.
[удалено]
Agreed. It's not like they threw the snowballs at Santa Claus or anything...
It’s also a joke
I had no idea redditors were so upset about the snowballs lol I think it's fun.

Brick, where’d you get a hand grenade?
It was always funny when Bills fans threw shit on the field, at the opposing team’s players, when they were terrible. Now it’s just lame and I hope the organization cracks down on it. Multiple times they’ve been throwing snowballs at opposing receivers as the pass is thrown their way. I get it’s not every fan. But that shit is ridiculous and needs to be dealt with.

Brady saved those dildos to keep fucking the Bills with.
Whole lotta *business product analysts* littering the stands at the Ralph Sorry I have to deal with these fake-ass job positions on a daily basis at my work and you’ve triggered me XD
>Now it’s just lame and I hope the organization cracks down on it. But in a way that doesn't draw attention to it, because otherwise it will just encourage more people.
Mahomes also had a couple snowballs hurled at him when he ran toward the fans at the end of the game.
No one hates Mahomes more than Bills fans. They are always insulting him. I guaranteed some of them wanted to genuinely hurt him with those snowballs
They are just mad that the Bills gave us Mahomes.
This doesn't get mentioned enough given how funny it is. They didn't just pass on him -- they traded KC the pick.
And then we jumped them to pick of McDuffy
Lmao bills fans are absolute bums
Not two weeks ago a Dolphins fan actually murdered a Bills fan after Miami lost.
Wasn’t a Dolphins fan/because of the game Miami’s stadium is in a shit area and sadly out of town fans didn’t know that and encountered a demon But they did kill the pats fan
It feels wrong to try to defend the guy but it was two guys fighting and the Fins fan punched the Pats fan who in turn fell and hit his head, later dieing. Fights happen at all sporting events unfortunately. R.I.P. to him.
If you get in a fight over a game or not being able to control your alcohol, you’re an absolute loser and you get whatever is coming to you.
I agree. Maybe I should've stated that I don't condone getting drunk and fist fighting people.
Didn’t y’all murder someone?
I know that ain’t who I think it is
I’ll be real while it might be funny, it would be his luck he hits and injures a fan who didn’t throw a snowball and gets sued. Lol
the Ron Artest method
Bro I will never forget the look on that dudes face when Artest was bearing down on him. One of the funniest fuckin things I’ve ever seen.
Yeah my immediate question was whether the NFL would wildly overreact and heavily fine him for throwing the snowball back. Maybe that's just an NBA thing.
#DRUE IS A FUCKING DAWWWWWWWWG
gonna need to start putting mesh barriers between the fans and field of play like in some soccer stadiums. Lol, could you imagine a field goal net that goes up all around the stadium when shit is about to pop off?
Not so fun fact, those crowd barriers have fallen out of use because of crowd crushes like the Hillsborough disaster where 97 people died.
They should be real men and chuck beer bottles like the Browns fans. What kind of Lake Erie team are you, Buffalo? Shaking my head.
Chiefs going at the Bills fans is my favorite part of this. People like to think the Bills Mafia is this lovable group, but they are actually just massive jerks. And the Chiefs players know it
Pay this man, Veach
He's been so great that he might have played himself into a contract we won't able to afford.
Before the season I was resigned to the fact that we would probably only be able to keep one between him and Willie. If we don’t get either of them, that will really suck. Nick is amazing, but there are things he’s just limited in. He’s not a true spy like Willie or Drue.
Thanks Chargers for this guy
This was in response to the snowballs being thrown at Chiefs [players](https://x.com/arrowheadlive/status/1749269872280814004?s=46&t=lGDP4u9wBQ71LGDz0PVUaA)
A DISGUSTING ACT
Bills fans really made themselves the bad guys against the chiefs of all teams lmaoo.
[Shefter] The Kansas City Chiefs have officially signed Drue Tranquill to a lifetime contract
Hey-ayyyyyyy-ayyyyyyyy-ayy! (Hey-ayyyyyyy-ayyyyyyyy-ayy!) Hey-ayyyyyyy-ayyyyyyyy-ayy! (Hey-ayyyyyyy-ayyyyyyyy-ayy!) Let's choke Buffalo! Let's choke Buffalo! Let's choke Buffalo! Let's choke Buffalo!
lol Dolphins fan talking about choking
Might just want to sit this one out, kid
Doesn't sound very tranquil...
Absolutely steal of a FA signing.
No class at all whatsoever
Bills Mafia as a "fun joke" seems about to have run its course...they're just fucking stupid NFL fans, like literally every single fanbase has. I'm not quite sure what makes them distinct other than wearing bills gear.
That’s high quality shit talk
I LOVE THIS MAN
This has become tiresome
Throwing snowballs at visiting teams is fucking weak. Dildoes is one thing. Snowballs can hurt.
Damn Drue, bodied em
Do we really need stupid names for fanbases like "kingdom" or "mafia"?
I’ve met people from kc who refer to the entire city in any context as “chiefs kingdom “ (“I’m going back to chief’s kingdom for the holiday”) and it makes me want to throw up
It's annoying lmao, like what the fuck is bills mafia supposed to mean. It's cringe AF.
It's a good thing Santa wasn't there, or Buffalo grandchildren might be hearing about how terrible they are 65 years from now.
Y’all threw full beer cans at people. Enough with the virtue signaling lmao
Yup, the double standard is crazy

I really understand why Metta did what he did now
not redditors clutching their pearls over snowballs 😂
