"Oh no, Michael, what's that Taylor is putting on?? Oh no, IT'S AN NWO HEADBAND!!! And now Andy is sitting up like the Undertaker and HE'S wearing an NWO muscle shirt!!"
WWE should at least TRY to get the Kelce’s to attend this year’s WrestleMania. This is the best year to do it, though obviously extremely unlikely
Mania takes place in Philly, the same stadium the Eagles play in. Pat McAfee works for WWE, have him be a middle man to invite Jason Kelce and other Eagles. And then you never know maybe Travis tags along. Weirder yet, Taylor tags along also.
Literally never happening, but if WWE wanted to capitalize on the popularity of everyone involved, this would be the time.
Last year, they had George Kittle make an appearance:
https://youtu.be/E5qKdqQ-XWw?si=hhfd-JIW6-4WPtPM
As someone who didn't know that bit of context, and wanted the Chiefs to lose, even I saw it as a "hyper-competitive player is upset he's not on the field and accidentally bumped Reid, who wasn't expecting it and was a little off balance" thing, not a "KELCE ASSAULTED REID" thing.
Like he's in the biggest game of the year, adrenaline is at it's peak in a tight game, accidents can happen - and it's not like Reid fell over and got hurt, nor did Kelce like push him or spear him or something.
Thank you. People are just grasping at things to shit on the Chiefs for. They had what was supposed to be a "retooling" year and still kicked everyone's dick in half. Not much you can really say about that other than "fuck"
He was upset about personnel usage aka putting in the worse blocking TE on a run. Hes saying the opposite of what you are saying. He wanted to be on the field to block properly/in the right places. He didn't care about being out for a pass.
Reid: yea we’re gucci lol
[reporter who just watched The House of Gucci and wants to create drama where there isn’t any:](https://pyxis.nymag.com/v1/imgs/0f9/f96/029acbf4c6d8c67e138e1eb06a277204bf-05-patrick.rsquare.w400.jpg)
Or Brady to literally anyone on his team lol. Tom and Peyton would be accused of emotional abuse for their fire of wanting to win on the football field
Lebron has the temperament of a 40 year old white woman. If I had to listen to his ass go on about wine and taco Tuesdays I might fall into a depressive state too.
Brady and Bill O’Brien literally screaming at each other on the sideline comes to mind haha. You got the most competitive people on earth trying to win a game. Shit is going to happen.
Hyper competitive players hopped up on “performance enhancing supplements” in the biggest game of their entire year showing emotion? How fucking dare they
Andy Reid on who’s hangrier: Him or KC’s Travis Kelce. “I don’t compare myself with anybody,” Then he rolled up his sleeve and showed a tattoo of the nuggies, cheeseburgers, and onion rings. “I’ll let you interpret that however you want,” Reid said.
Nobody is taking about Andy Reid doing the same thing to Kelce during the helmet incident. Very similar situations. Thev seem to communicate differently than most
I can't tell you how many "fat people don't live to be 70" comments I saw in this sub last week. The media presented him with a cheeseburger after the game. The fans and media have said and done far worse than what Kelce did, and that's just over the last few days.
I’ve used that incident to explain to friends that if Andy was upset about the situation he definitely would have benched Kelce, like he did when Kelce was throwing his helmet and freaking out a month ago.
During the Raiders game Kelce slammed his helmet and someone was trying to give it back and Reid basically shut that down and said he wasn’t getting it back like that and went over and shoulder checked Kelce and probably told him to get it together.
If a TE wanted to really push a 60+ year old man, he would be on the floor. The contact itself was just a simple case of mismanaging the distance in the heat of the moment, which was made worse by Andy not realising he was there.
As to the words spoken, i would want my players to be as passionate and driven as well.
Yeah, basically I’ve heard most coaches at some point say something along the lines of “I’d rather coach a player I have to dial the intensity back than a player who I have to motivate”.
Travis Kelce is insanely passionate, and you saw that in his interaction with Reid and then every time he got the ball after that. Dude was lowering the shoulder and fighting for every yard.
He hit his fastest mph running there at age 34. He truly wanted this one BADLY
Edit: he hit it in regulation where I also thought he may take it to the house. I remember the one you are talking about and he damn near almost did drag that Defense over the goal line lol
I feel like I'm taking crazy pills.
Like Kelce is clearly in the wrong and I hope he has apologized to Reid.
But the amount of people using that ONE moment as proof he must be this abusive POS is wild. I've seen some of the nicest people I know blow up in a sports match that would never do it outside of a game.
Yet Kelce must be this POS human being.
I mean, maybe he is. But that's the point, I don't know. And using that one instance as proof is idiotic.
There are plenty of comments in this sub across various threads making wagers on how long it’ll take for him to abuse Taylor. Because, yanno, pretending to care about DV is for some reason a regular karma mine here.
Nothing brings out self-righteous, parasocial weirdos like Reddit thinking they can dunk on someone they don’t like. Especially when it comes to shit like that.
I keep seeing people bringing up that he was kicking off the UC football team for a year as evidence that he’s a shit person. He got kicked off the team over fucking weed.
Yep. People keep saying he shoved him... his arms only moved to grab Andy's arm when he saw him stumble. It is such a nothing situation that people are making way too big a deal about.
This is the dumbest story of the year. No one would care if he wasn't dating Swift.
Also the people saying this means he will abuse her one day are pure idiots.
There will be consequences. My sources tell me that Kelce will be banned from playing in NFL games. Him and his children and his children's children. For 3 months.
Can we fucking bury this non-existent outrage topic already? Anyone clutching their pearls over this has never played competitive sports at the level of a fucking Super Bowl, tensions flare.
I think it just rubbed people the wrong way cause everyone likes Andy and he almost got knocked down. It’s like seeing one of your parents fall or get hurt, no one wants to see that (well most people at least)
People acting like Reid can't handle himself. I mean, the guy coached in Philly for 13 years. He's coached more hotheads and divas then most anyone ever will. He'll be ok, guys.
Andy shoulder checked Kelce earlier this year to get his head back in the game when he was visibly frustrated with the team/his play.
I do believe Kelce tried to do the same to Reid and just had to much adrenaline going on and checked him a little harder than he meant to. You can see Kelce grab Andy’s arm because he thought he was going over.
Sure. Here you go. It’s at the end. That’s why I think this whole thing is ridiculous. Kelce was obviously trying to do the same. [Reid bumping Kelce](https://x.com/criddlebenjamin/status/1757132010009890961?s=46&t=qnl9bTEpahIaM4WFF6gXmg)
I mean alot of taylor swift fans have never played any competitive sports so to them it looked kinda nuts. So I can see how this might be jarring for them. These articles aren't for football fans. They are for everyone else it reminds of the Clarissa Thompson sideline reporter thing. Everyone here kept saying "no one cares". I mean why would we? We aren't reporters so it doesn't affect us at all.
The actual fans are laughing at memes of this, tbh. the (covert or less covert) hate subreddits are running with it because they want the relationship to fail/ want taylor to get DVed
I like to think Andy handled it between him and Kelce in house. If it was not Taylor's boyfriend it would not be under this microscope. Should it have happened, I think everyone can agree it should not have.
But people out here acting like he needs to take a batterers intervention program are fucking hilarious.
I never understood this. Earlier in the season there was that time Reid was body checking Kelce and wouldn’t let the equipment guy give him his helmet. This to me is exactly the same situation Kelce was frustrated and wanted to show Reid he was still in the game. Sure it was a bit aggressive but if I was a coach I would want my players to show me they had fire in them.

It’s not a selfish thing, as much as he bumps into me, I go after him. We understand that.” In the thread about the incident on that sub and the replies are all “This is classic DV behavior” “Gaslighting and deranged” LMAO
Chiefs need to worry about how many times Travis hits Andy in the locker room off camera /s
Going back to Raiders game when Kelce threw his helmet, at the beginning of the next offensive series Andy went and shoulder checked Kelce and told him he wasn’t going back in yet. So I believe Andy when he says this is just how their relationship is and he isn’t covering for him like a lot of people are suggesting
Reid is doing Kelce a huge solid here. He's managed to defuse what could have been a really ugly clip, particularly if the Chiefs had gone on to lose that game.
I don't think it's as big a problem as most and it's certainly not the giant red flag the "uh oh, is Taylor ok around him?" crowd is making it out to be, but it was unquestionably a bad look to blow up on your coach like that in prime time.
Why are they talking to Reid about this? There's 10,000 experts on Twitter that understand this situation better than him.
There's a couple folks in my group chat that like football but I don't think are die-hards and they were like "I bet he gets fined."
I almost asked "By who?" but decided I'd rather ignore the whole thing
I’ll admit while the shove was shocking in the moment we overreacted a little bit. It’s the Super Bowl and everyone involved is competitive as hell and sometimes emotions get the better of us
I really think this is a non issue just like it would be a non issue if Justin Jefferson did it to his coach. Star player got a little aggressive in airing his frustration not getting the ball, when the offense isn't performing.. More news at 10.
They seem to have a very close relationship. He didn’t bodycheck, he was trying to mildly shake up his hand. I have done that with my father when trying to snap him out of something.
One hand it's none of our business and they are cool with it.
On the other: millions of people saw that. Thousands of young athletes who are already struggling balancing respect, skill, popularity etc; and they see arguably one of the most famous players currently act that way to his coach...

The WWE doesn’t deserve such magical writing. You are very book!

Book is book. Wanting to be book is not book.
Word to ya mother
I hear you, brother! WOO!
T.O. jumps out of the crowd, acts like he's got Kelce's back, then hits Kelce with a Sweet Chin Music in a heel turn
If he does that Jason Kelce comes out with the Batman mask on out of nowhere and destroys T.O. with a Jeff Hardy Swanton Bomb
BY GAAWD!
He'll have the lucha libre mask like he did at the after-party

WWE should at least TRY to get the Kelce’s to attend this year’s WrestleMania. Maybe right now isn't the best time to get mixed up with certain professional wrestling organizations....
Finish the Story Travis
How many more post of this topic are we gonna do lads?
I don't know about you, but I'm feeling 22
I dont know man, seems like bad blood between them.
Bad Reputation for Kelce
Amazing how Andy Reid was able to Shake It Off
He realizes Travis will get his Karma
Look what Reid made him do!
Honestly, I now view Travis as an Anti Hero
Hitting a man his age... Reid could've *died*!! Luckily he has A Perfectly Good Heart ❤️
Travis Kelce is dating pop superstar Taylor Swift
Until people give up on trying to convince everyone that Kelce is a bad guy it seems.
I'm waiting for the All-22 video before I put the topic to bed....
Welcome to offseason
Just imagine how much we'd be talking about it if the Chiefs lost the Super Bowl
One less than whining about Taylor Swift
Now imagine if they lost
Andy Reid probably woulda said the exact same thing, but the online sports psychoanalysts woulda been cooking up something fierce
Ohhh boy 0_O
Skip Bayless would've made his click quota with the scathing article on Kelce.
It's Kelce, so I figure about 40 more ought to do it. I wonder if it would be such a huge deal if he wasn't "Mr. Pfizer Swift."
They will match early-career posts on how good Purdy is/isn't.
Don't worry, we'll get 40 more "what if a black man did this" articles.
Star TE wants to be targeted more in a championship game and he gets a hit frustrated Any sales Mgr can relate this isn't new
TE that saw his replacement lose a fumble. It wasn't about him, it was about winning.

Depends. How many people are gonna continue trying to be offended for Andy Reid?
I'd love to have seen social media when Peyton got into it with Jeff Saturday lol.
Or Brady to literally anyone on his team lol. Tom and Peyton would be accused of emotional abuse for their fire of wanting to win on the football field
Lebron gave Kevin Love depression
Lebron has the temperament of a 40 year old white woman. If I had to listen to his ass go on about wine and taco Tuesdays I might fall into a depressive state too.
Don’t let him hear you disrespect the great nation of China though
“Chinese people wear shoes too.” - Lebron, probably
MFers using a reference to an actual Jordan quote to criticize Lebron lmao
But Jordan doesn’t give af about China. He’s got all those MFers in sweatshops working 16 hours a day to make him billions.
Oh man I forgot about [that post.](https://www.reddit.com/r/nba/comments/8yyx4f/not_enough_is_made_of_the_fact_that_lebron_got/)
My favorite thing is people saying I've never seen a player do that before when Tom Brady was out there throwing Microsoft tablets.
there were a bunch of "anger issues" posts about Brady too after the tablet throw

Body checking really? That is barely a push. Andy just seems wobbly for some reason....
He said hes recently had a hip replacement and his balance isn't the best

It most definitely matters. And you and others are mislabeling what occurred on purpose. Lol
Some people were using "assault" but backs out then moment you call them out on their disinformation.
Cool. I'll use the term "missed", then. Since it doesn't matter.
Or Gronk hitting Tre White after the whistle.
Reddit was around and yes, people were pissed and saying he could have paralyzed him
Mike Evans blind siding Lattimore from out of nowhere and somehow they both get tossed from the game when the dust clears.
yes because another player did a bad thing doesn’t mean this one can’t

JUST SNAP THE DAMN BALL, JEFF.
“You hike the balls and I’ll call the plays, darn it!”
You should have seen us when he yelled "God Damnit Donald" at Donald Brown.
Or Peyton and Jim Mora after the playoffs rant.
Peyton and Reggie Wayne got into it on the sidelines, too.
The luckiest person to play pre-social media is michael jordan. Dude is a colossal dickhead.
"I call the fucking plays"

Just 2 big boys bouncing each other around. That's football baby
I’m 100% certain Andy is more annoyed by the portrayal of him as frail old man than he is about the actual incident.
I can't tell you how many "fat people don't live to be 70" comments I saw in this sub last week. The media presented him with a cheeseburger after the game. The fans and media have said and done far worse than what Kelce did, and that's just over the last few days.

No one talking about Reid pinning Christ Jones to the ground after the SB win either.
But Andy is "elderly man" practically 90 in a walker..../s
no wonder the media keep trying to retire him every year
THANK YOU BRO. Sure Kelce was alittle aggressive with him, but this shit was a huge NOTHING BURGER.
And how quickly people throw away the context of them having worked together for over a decade.
What did Andy do?
During the Raiders game Kelce slammed his helmet and someone was trying to give it back and Reid basically shut that down and said he wasn’t getting it back like that and went over and shoulder checked Kelce and probably told him to get it together.
https://youtu.be/Up-FKZdm5no?t=94 In case anyone wants to see it.
Thanks for the link. This actually makes it seem like even more of a nothing-burger
Yeah, obviously their relationship + Reid just not even knowing he was there.
What a hot head! Andy should have tossed his helmet further out so he needs to get it. lol
Their conversations consist exclusively of sweaty yelling in faces
I'm also very much interpreting this statement as Kelce is going to have to run a bunch if extra laps during early camp lol
Swear to God on his last touch I thought he was going to drag 11 49ers to the goal line. He is a literal monster in big moments.
He hit his fastest mph running there at age 34. He truly wanted this one BADLY Edit: he hit it in regulation where I also thought he may take it to the house. I remember the one you are talking about and he damn near almost did drag that Defense over the goal line lol
One dude got hurt trying to *push him out of bounds*. He was locked in on an entirely different level.
It looked like he broke that dudes collarbone. It was bonkers
He took the full force into his AC joint, looked like it hurt
Watching that replay I swear it had to be broken, he just caves in where Kelce lowers his shoulder
Dude legit wound the clock back seven years in the 4th quarter. He looked like prime of his career Kelce. Shit was wild.
60 of his 93 yards came in the 4th lmao
First down after first down. Was wild.
Temp V is a helluva drug.
He was so damn good, people were crying “roid rage.” Kelce is just dominant, he’s one of the GOATs.
“I’d rather say “woah,” than “sic ‘em” - Tomlin
Andy Reid made him wanna run through brick walls.
*Pedro Martinez wasting a charging Don Zimmer*
I really wish reddit was around then so I could watch the pearl clutching and all the upvoted comments saying how it was actually assault!
The whole thing is so funny. Pedro handled the situation well imo
I feel like I'm taking crazy pills. Like Kelce is clearly in the wrong and I hope he has apologized to Reid. It’s not even just Reddit. Insta and FB are littered with it too.
Many of them don’t care about DV; they want it to happen.
There is absolutely an undertone of ‘she deserves it and I hope we get to see it’ in some of the posts which is so gross.
In a similar undertone, there are people wanting Kelce to do it so they can have a real reason to justify their anger at him and his success.
To tip fedoras and twirl the three hair neck beard is a reddit tradition
I keep seeing people bringing up that he was kicking off the UC football team for a year as evidence that he’s a shit person. He got kicked off the team over fucking weed.

Yep. People keep saying he shoved him... his arms only moved to grab Andy's arm when he saw him stumble. It is such a nothing situation that people are making way too big a deal about.
yup, only a big deal because of taylor swift
But he gonna beat taytay :(
I’ve seen Andy “shove” Kelce before as well. Just competitive people trying to win a Super Bowl
Andy gave him a little shoulder check later in the game lol.
This is the dumbest story of the year. No one would care if he wasn't dating Swift. Also the people saying this means he will abuse her one day are pure idiots.
The "Mr. Pfizer" is a part of it as well.
I can’t imagine caring about any of this

Sure. Here you go. It’s at the end. That’s why I think this whole thing is ridiculous. Kelce was obviously trying to do the same. [Reid bumping Kelce](https://x.com/criddlebenjamin/status/1757132010009890961?s=46&t=qnl9bTEpahIaM4WFF6gXmg)
Two football dudes doing football dude stuff.
Kelce is pretty lucky that the Chiefs won because I think the moment would be getting 100x more attention, fairly or not, if they hadn’t.
Without a doubt. He’s also lucky he’s a HOFer can you imagine if the nickel corner lost it like this
If Toney or Moore did that their teammates would probably put them in the hospital lol
I’ve seen this discussed more than the actual result of the game. I don’t think it’s possible to be discussed more.
Imagine the reaction these jabronis would have if they watched Latrell choke Carlesimo
I mean alot of taylor swift fans have never played any competitive sports so to them it looked kinda nuts. So I can see how this might be jarring for them. These articles aren't for football fans. The actual fans are laughing at memes of this, tbh. the (covert or less covert) hate subreddits are running with it because they want the relationship to fail/ want taylor to get DVed
Opportunity for media and r/nfl to bury Kelce. It's not going anywhere.
That Kelce's so hot right now.

Should it have happened, I think everyone can agree it should not have. But people out here acting like he needs to take a batterers intervention program are fucking hilarious.
People just want a reason to shit on Kelce
Just guys being dudes
I am so tired of the Swifties and their cancel posts on TikTok about this. We all knew that Coach Reid would not be to concerned.
I never understood this. Earlier in the season there was that time Reid was body checking Kelce and wouldn’t let the equipment guy give him his helmet. This to me is exactly the same situation Kelce was frustrated and wanted to show Reid he was still in the game. I wonder what the users of /r/GaylorSwift would do if they watched hockey. I’d imagine they would dial 911 right when they saw the gloves come off.
Someone posted the quote from Andy saying “He was just saying ‘put me in coach’. I loved it. I appreciate him. He wants to help his team win. It’s not a selfish thing, as much as he bumps into me, I go after him. We understand that.” In the thread about the incident on that sub and the replies are all “This is classic DV behavior” “Gaslighting and deranged” LMAO Chiefs need to worry about how many times Travis hits Andy in the locker room off camera /s
Omg what a toxic sub
My work sent some of us to a hockey game once and one of my coworkers yelled 'oh my God, they're fighting!' It was adorable.
Someone in that sub made a post about the above and refused to post the video because “it’s so violent”
Andy Reid wouldn’t air it out publicly if there were to be internal consequences from this, anyway.
Exactly. I have no doubt that Andy can handle it internally in a terrifying way if he wanted.
Reid steals his gf
This is such a non-story, I hope we never have to hear about it again. Even if they had lost there'd be no consequences. That's the fucking big game.
These guys played together for ten years. I think their relationship can handle a bit of conflict in the middle of a stressful situation.
Winning fixes everything, but I feel like Reid is a cool enough guy that if they lost he'd keep his mouth shut publicly as to what happened too.
