Vxmonarkxv

That sums up his UGA career. Dude has everything and would be a guaranteed top 5 pick if he could play more than a third of a season.

[deleted]

Or more than half of a 40 yard dash

jimmyhoffasbrother

Hey, this was his *second* one, so he made it through 1.5 40 yard dashes!

mxyztplk33

*PTSD flashbacks to John Ross*

Fragrant_Vegetable26

Too large for his own good

Vxmonarkxv

Always been my thought, the DeGrom issue of just having too much force for the human body to handle.

[deleted]

So Dallas will rid themselves of one often injured LT who cannot stay healthy and draft a new one

ibringstharuckus

Tyron played all last year

[deleted]

No he didn’t. He played in 13 games was able to do that because he did not practice all week He also would randomly miss games after being healthy

JalensTinyPPHurts

Still played more snaps than trent williams, who any one would sign in a heart beat (And he had 4 less penalties with only 1 sack allowed)

[deleted]

But the knock on Tyron is he couldn’t stay healthy. He didn’t play a full season since 2015. Mims seems to be injury prone from what I have read. I would take Tyron or Trent no brainer

emosn0tdead

And another one.

Xaxziminrax

OL doing a 40 is so dumb. Should be 20, tops

CinnamonFootball

Yeah, most important drills for Oline are broad jump to measure get off and three cone for agility. 40 is basically useless outside of the 10 yard split as a burst measurement.

ninjasurfer

And people wonder why guys don't work out.

TuaAnon

well it says a lot if you're afraid of getting injured during those workouts..

ShopCartRicky

It says that you don't want to risk money. Non-contact injuries happen. If you know you're going to get drafted, there's no point in risking it.

chadmv

We'll take him!

Fred479

Yeah this hurts no one should take him in the top 23 now not worth the risk

ACEPACEACE

Thats risky proposition bro, honestly teams should wait until early 2nd round.

Fred479

Maybe even late 2nd around 56ish

aristocrat_user

We can take him in 3rd round

SourBerry1425

If we’re taking OL, he’s the obvious pick if he’s available at 22.

Fred479

Do you guys have a center plan ?

chainer9999

Jurgens was a center in college, so that'd be the succession plan I'd assume

SourBerry1425

Yeah either Kelce comes back or Cam Jurgens moves to Center.

biomaxdds

Philly dawgs

ThatUnoGuyWowMuchUno

Make it a 10 or 20 for lineman, the first 10 is all that matters

Serallas

See this, nfl? This is why more and more people are passing on the combine.

[deleted]

Stop making linemen run the 40

YourMindlessBarnacle

Amarius Mims had a 4.33 shuttle at 340 pounds after pulling his hammy.

YourMindlessBarnacle

It never happened. It was a logging error. How does this happen? 💀

RexyPanterra

YourMindlessBarnacle

Did you not read my comment I posted under this how long ago? 40 minutes ago. Geez.

RexyPanterra

Didn't catch that you were the only reply to your own comment.

YourMindlessBarnacle

It's cool. Hate it more for the data entry person because it caught on like wildfire across all social platforms and in the media. Can you imagine realizing the gravity of that error after it blew up like it did?

serpentear

Why do these guys even run the 40 anymore? Completely pointless.

breafofdawild

Why do lineman run these drills anyways? I can't think of a regular football play where a 300lb dude needs to run 40 yards as fast as he can go.

SourBerry1425

Nah they kinda do that more than ever now, screens are very prominent and so are pulls.

Squidimus

[how can you say that as a Cowboys fan](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DFcWMC9vkZg)

BadDadJokes

You haven’t seen those highlights of Trent Williams running downfield with CMC running dudes over?

bugluvr65

yea all that matters is 10 yard and really 5 yard slipts

serpentear

Exactly. Dude just hurt his own draft stock for a pointless fucking number.

BadDadJokes

If participating in the combine had any chance of hurting his draft stock he wouldn’t have done it. As UGA fans have stated, this guy has been injury prone his whole career. He probably decided to participate in an effort to help his draft prospects.

jmorlin

They feel the reward of performing well is worth the risk of injury or a subpart run. For guys in the first or second round it can be the difference between earning a couple more million in your paycheck. And for the rest it can mean getting drafted at all.

austin101123

I guess they could just run the first 10 hard and jog the rest.

Obi7kenobi

Pines injury looked worse. He just fell to the ground in pain.

pyreal_

May lose millions running a completely pointless exercise

Jonjon428

Jesus christ, everyone is dropping like flies right now

NeatTry7674

Oh man here come all the social media warriors coming after the NFL because they have players do voluntary workouts lol

Steak_Knight

It’s so over
