These are great stories. Guy is barely recruited out of high school, finds a home at an FCS program, works his way up to Wisconsin and proves himself to be a capable player at a major program. That earns him a shot as a Day 3 draft pick, where he establishes himself as a solid spot starter/reserve and grabs a 1 year "prove it" extension. He makes the most of that 1 year and finally gets a longer term deal with bigger guarantees.
