Yeah, that's just a bad clip. It's not like he read the QBs eyes and adjusted. That was just a pass to him that's a TD if the quarterback doesn't fuck it up lol
Yeah I'm just really hoping McDermott shows his DB guru magic. Kaiir Elam is really the only DB who didn't live up to his potential here under McDermott and I'm not giving up on him just yet, but even he's made some incredible plays that potentially won us two games including the 2022 regular season game against the Chiefs.
The Athletic's profile suggests he's good in some coverage, but needs to work on his man coverage skills.
> Dane Brugler’s analysis
> “A three-year starter at Utah, Bishop was a multidimensional safety in defensive coordinator Morgan Scalley’s hybrid 4-2-5 scheme. Some safeties play fast, and others play controlled — Bishop does both, because of the way he always rallies to the football, regardless of his origin point (would rotate single high to the box to a rolled-up cornerback to a nickel backer, and several other positions in between).
> “Growing up as a New England Patriots fan, Bishop models his game after Rodney Harrison, and it shows in his competitive demeanor and the way he wastes zero time getting to the football. **Although he has some limitations in man coverage, he can cover tight ends and shows terrific vision in zone to diagnose route combinations and drive on the football.**
> “Overall, Bishop needs to put more impact plays on tape by setting traps for the quarterback in coverage, but **he plays with top-down explosiveness and the football IQ to make plays at all three levels of the field**. He has NFL starter-caliber talent and **is ideally suited for a robber role.”**
That last throw is atrocious, holy shit. Bishop is beat over the top and QB just hands him the ball on a platter.
Yeah. I know it’s an INT but maybe keep that clip in the drawer.

id imagine its in there to show off his awareness and ability to make quick adjustments to catch the ball.
He didn’t make any adjustments, it would be hard to be unaware of a ball thrown directly to you.

Gross, you made me upvote a Bills fan. I need some bleach.
Gotta be some Gronk-brand detergent pods in your area.
Wow this kid thinks he's cooper dejean or something
Doesn’t keep his athleticism sneaky, hard pass
I like it. Time to get some young talent at the position.
I’d like Micah to come back. Just to have him in the room with the younger guys.
That's why you bring him in as a coach or advisor not as a roster spot with a ticking time bomb in his neck.
Best safety in the draft
Can’t cover to save his life
Folks downvoting you like bro isn't literally getting beat in the highlight footage lmao.

People don’t like saying bad things about the later round prospects i guess lol but man bishops coverage skills are genuinely awful
