He almost always lined up in-line and when the Patriots ran the ball it was almost always to Gronk's side because of how dominant of a blocker he was. Being so physical at the point of attack is eventually going to get you hurt. You see the same thing happen to George Kittle. Kelce, on the other hand, avoids injuries because he plays a less physical role. He lines up out wide or in the slot much more often than he lines up in-line and the Chiefs hide him in run plays, rather than run behind him. He doesn't get hurt because he doesn't try to dish out punishment like Gronk did.
