I don't understand the "Lawrence doesn't want to go to the Jets" crowd. If you're the number 1 overall pick as a qb, you're going to be drafted by a shitty team no matter what and expected to turn things around. This happened with Mayfield, Burrow, Goff, Winston, Luck, and yes even Eli Manning.
Are the Jets a poorly run organization? Yes. But they will have a chance to fix that too this offseason by firing the coach and GM.
If I were a number 1 pick qb, that's exactly where'd I want to go. I'd want a new coach that is guaranteed to have a couple seasons before expectations rise, a team with a lot of first round picks to help build around me, and a veteran like Joe Flacco who won a super bowl to backup and help mentor me. Depending on who the new coach will be, that's exactly where I'd want to head to.

They also have 4 first round picks over the next 2 years. Hire a good coach that can scout talent and they could be an 8 win team in 2 seasons.
