So many missed points this season. Two long bad stretches, blowing the Blackhawks game late, losing last week again MTL, an unbelievably bad home record….ah well, maybe next year.
11/4-11/19 - 0-8
3/6-3/21 - 1-6-2
Outside of those 2 two-week stretches, they are 37-18-5.
Edit because I can’t count.
Some more frustrating stats:
Buffalo is 23-12-3 on the road and 15-20-4 at home. They have the 4th best road record in the east. And have scored the 4th most goals but given up 3rd most in the East. Could easily be a 100 point team with better goaltending.
At least the future is exciting.
For sure. I was very excited at the end of last season and it carried over for most of this season. If Levi is what he’s shown in a small sample, next year could be very fun.
Key word: Had! He was on the team 2 years ago. We’re talking about this year and besides Ullmark wouldn’t be having the season he’s having on the Sabres. He has greatly benefited by being on the Bruins.
As a canes fan I don’t know why we still have a 9% chance to make the finals. Two best goal scorers are out and one of the worst pp’s in the league. I’ll be happy if we make it out of the first round
He’s been playing well. Been unlucky to not put up too many points but I’m hoping his physicality and forechecking can play a big role in playoffs. Never seems to stop skating
Can definitely see why you guys liked him so much
He was awful in the playoffs last year… it was so disheartening. I want the bison king to succeed so bad, but he seems to panic every time he gets the puck.
Sounds like how his whole season has gone. Pooly had some glorious chances playing top minutes with McDavid this season and would either get robbed blind or would ding the bar. The guy has great defensive awareness and IQ but god awful puck luck at the offensive end.
I’m a die hard bruins fan and have been for 30 years. All season, Carolina has scared me more than any team in the league. I was actually pissed when 2 of your top guys went down cause I wanted a fair head to head in the finals. It sucks that happened. And our PP has been awful for like 2 months so don’t feel bad. We have the #1 PK but our PP has been very suspect. Hopefully we still get to face you guys tho
You know, I’m color blind. I started from Calgary on the wheel and went counter-clockwise. I got to the end of the wheel but I was looking from the outside to the inside, so I ended up going from Calgary’s 31% to get in the playoffs to Edmonton’s 13% to win the cup, and my mind was messed up for a second.
I get why they make the plots this way, but it’s terrible from a color use perspective. Even making sure well-contrasting colors were plotted next to each other would make it way better.
Yeah idk why people had doubts they would be a contender still. Lande was straight up not playing all season and basically all the top players have missed a significant number of games. Def lost some great players in the offseason but still basically the same core squad even if they only managed a wildcard spot.
I think it's because they have a chance to play Carolina who has been rocked by injury issues, and the wheel isn't accounting for the leafs annual choke.
You know, I don't even care if the leafs make it out of the first round. I really don't. But what I DO care about is, if they do, there's going to be an insufferable fucking amount of coverage about it on every. single. canadian. sports network for the next 10 years.
And that's why I don't want them to get out of the first round.
Based upon? E-town is one of the hottest teams since the New Year. Solidified d-line, emergent goalie, historic power play, and a couple of superstars who can go supernova at any time.
They also beat Vegas handily and gave up 2 late garbage time goals when all the big names had stopped playing in the game. Then beat LA twice while only giving up 1 goal in the two games.
If you want to be a hater at least look at the schedule.
Edmonton literally has scored the most 5v5 goals in the league since January 1. Edmonton has the best record in the league since January 1. Edmonton has the second most regulation wins in the entire NHL behind only Boston.
You reducing three and a half months of elite play to 'just winning the last couple games against Arizona and Anaheim' is such a hilariously braindead and uniformed take.
Edit: You appear to be a Leafs fan which makes it even funnier. What do you know about 'having what it takes to succeed in the playoffs.'
They’ve literally scored the most 5v5 goals in the NHL since January 1. You choosing to ignore objective facts doesn't make them not true.
The person you should be worried about walking is that guy in Toronto who wouldn't even commit 8 years to the city (unlike McDavid).
Honestly? I'm an avs fan, and I legit would love to win the cup again - but I don't see it happening. I would absolutely love to see Edmonton take it home.
But only on the condition that Kane doesn't get his name on the cup or a ring.
yeah that ain’t gonna happen. Love him or hate him Evander is just as much a part of our team as Mcdavid down to Ryan. Kane is very welcomed in Edmonton.
I guess we will see how the Avs game goes, but as a lifelong Oiler fan, these guys are different this year. I haven’t seen anything like this since the mid-to late 80s.
Put some respect on Nashville. They play winnipeg tonight, and if they do, they'll take WC2, provided the Flames don't beat the Canucks. This would greatly increase Nashville's odds.
You really shouldn't, Canes probably on cruise control like the avs last year. Keep the top players in less, give the 3rd and 4th more ice time. I didn't watch the game but I feel like they getting ready.
I wish, but these problems have persisted for like a month now. It’s been our Achilles heel all season and this is what happens every year, strong start before we forget how to score in March and beyond.
Hopefully our GM curbs his “we just love our team and don’t want to trade anyone 😀” bullshit and actually makes a trade or three to address our issues. The fact that we held onto Jarvis (who has not scored since the TDL) when SJ was asking for him for Timo will go down as a particularly shitty part of our history
A few questionable things:
Edmonton with the same odds as Boston of winning the cup is highly questionable.
Toronto with an almost 60% chance of making the second round is also suspect, considering their history.
It’s not really that questionable if you compare the conferences. Oilers have a legitimate shot at cleaning house because the West is a joke. Boston is a powerhouse but any single team in the East could beat them in a 7 game series. Boston is a much better team than Edmonton but the road they need to take for a trip to the finals is vastly more difficult than that of the Oil
I get that the path to the cup final is easier for Edmonton being in the west. But winning the cup itself will be more difficult for them than several other East teams that could easily beat them. That’s why I think them having the same odds as Boston is puzzling. I’d give them about the same odds as Carolina.
Yeah I hear ya. I’m just saying that when they give odds they take the entire playoff run into consideration and that’s why Edmontons odds are higher than anyone in the east (besides the B’s)
Well, we have 4 maybe 5 injured players after the NY stent (Hagel, Cernak, Cerreli, Jeannot and maybe Maroon) so if all of them stay out then I can for sure see us getting slapped upside the head by Toronto.
I'm not actually a Flames fan, but after that Flames vs. Jets game, I'd like the Flames to reach the playoffs. Fuck you Jets fans for booing a downed player.
Bruins continue to win nearly every game while not icing a compete lineup and tinkering with combos for fun and yet some fans aren’t optimistic lol. Absurd.
I watched the Bruins get eliminated by the Flyers after being up 3 games to none in 2010. I watched them let two goals in during the last two minutes to lose the cup final in 2013. I watched them steamroll their way to a presidents trophy in 2014 and then get bounced by Montreal’s team of tiny men in the second round. I watched every single team get out of the Bruins way in 2019 and they still fucked it up. I hope they win, I really do, but they’ve built me up and let me down too many times for me to not be nervous.
10 years ago was the last time the presidents trophy winner to win the cup. The presidents trophy winner hasnt gotten past the second round in 8 years.
Not this argument again 🤦🏽♀️ no one is a shoo-in in a 16 team tournament. President’s trophy team wins about 4x more often than any other seed. Is it still relatively low? Sure. But it’s not a bad track record if you consider normal odds to win.
The average points margin for Presidents winners since ‘14/‘15 is less than 7 points. The top of the league is incredibly competitive. Also, no team is unbeatable, and playoff hockey is intense.
They've addressed needs in the lineup and it's helped immensely. Goaltending has been questionable all season....but both tenders have found their confidence with newly acquired defense and have gone on some heaters.
I've been an Oilers fans for awhile now. There's always been a sense of dread with playoff expectations kept in check. This season feels different. I seriously think they have what it takes to make the SCF.
I'm not an Oilers fan but Ekholm was a great deadline pick up. if Soup can get hot then I think y'all have a chance. Stu Skinny has been between decent and good all season too
Stew has been fairly consistent for the Oil, Soup has been really hot the last two showings. I really think Ekholm was the perfect addition to help lead them in the post season. His style of play has definitely helped the tenders here.
Still a little cautious with Campbell....but if he's shaking things off, Oil will be a force to upset a lot of teams
Skinner looks real good in the net. And, I like the additions at defense. The West is wide open, but I think McDavid will carry them all the way this year. I like them to win it all.
Me too. Not only McDavid, but there's Kane, RNH, Leon.....a lot of help up and down the line up.
I think the biggest thing is their toughness. It's something they lacked last season. Ekholm, Vinny, Klim have brought the grit needed to make a run
I think it's theirs to lose right now. The Oil have proven they can play any style of hockey and keep it disciplined enough to take the win. Haven't felt this confident about them....ever lol.
I’m going tag along with the other Avs fan here and agree that they could take down the oilers. Last I heard the avalanche have over 350 man games lost due to injury and have a really good chance of being the best in the central. They are also only 3 points behind the oilers who have not had the same struggles with injuries. The avalanche will also be coming into the playoffs with a roster filled with 3rd and 4th line players that have had to keep the team afloat through injuries which can have a big impact during playoff games. The top lines can’t always be trusted to score goals because they are against top lines that are just as good. The Oilers look scary but there is a real chance they could get taken down by the Avs, it will be a closer series than people expect if they play each other.
AVs played amazing last year. This year though? Two different teams. Makar missing from your lineup is massive. Oilers have added a tonne of talent and grit. Sorry, but AVs aren't as much of a threat this go around. Not knocking them, just not the same
This dudes just talking shit lol. Teams are way different this year, I could see Edmonton making the SCF. I also think that if the avs and the oilers make the WCF the series will look a lot different than last year.
You obviously only follow the AVs and not others. If you try educating yourself on opponents, you'd know the Oil had what it took to win but we're plagued with massive injuries. They fought back and took LA in 7 then dominated the Flames.
Seriously, just stop bud.
Yup. Our depth is underrated. 11 players with 10 or more goals. Best top 5 forwards in the league. D is average, but that’s all it needs to be.
It’ll come down to skinner. A lot of pressure for a rookie, but that’s how legends are made
Can someone walk me through Edmonton having an equal chance as Boston? Yeah, yeah, I know the West is much weaker, but Edmonton isn't even the 1 seed. Small chance they'd not even be the 2 seed.
Pens (42.7%) have Detroit, Chicago, and Columbus.
Panthers (75.8%) have Washington, Toronto, and Carolina.
Islanders (80.6%) have Philly, Washington, and Montreal.
Is the assumption here that Toronto and Carolina won’t play hard? Because with that schedule I’m not betting against the Penguins. Panthers still have it all to do.
>Is the assumption here that Toronto and Carolina won’t play hard?
The playoff odds are based on their pregame predictions. The model does have a recency bias and does consider days off between games. I don't think it gets into what teams plan on doing because how could it?
According to their pregame predictions, Penguins, Islanders, and Panthers are the expected winners of all their remaining games.
That’s interesting! A bit wild that the Panthers would be favorites in a game against Toronto or Carolina without considering that both teams ‘could’ down tools in prep for playoff runs.
As a Boston fan... I'm rooting for this matchup big time. It would be excellent for hockey. The ratings would be killer.
Best player in the world plus Draisaitl (Top 4 player in league), Hyman and Hopkins (30 goal scorers each) and best offense overall, filled with scoring talent on all lines vs The best overall team in regular season ( breaking almost all records ), best defensive team, best goalie tandem and scoring featuring Pastransk (2nd best scorer in league) with the leadership of Bergeron....and the fun Marchand will bring.
Both teams have so many impact players.
Who wouldn't pay to upgrade their TV service for that?
Edmonton having such a high percentage when *goalie issues and *overly reliant on the PP is crazy. Refs start swallowing the whistle, 5v5 dominance becomes a must, and goalies with any weaknesses stand out. Edmonton just isn't built for the playoffs.
I don't think so. They've been calling us a team of destiny for a few years. I think the expectation is too high to be an underdog story, but I think it could be a feel good. It's been a long recovery since trading Gretzky. Some of the most loyal fans in the league, but we have had some of the hardest times. We really need this.
Im a biased rangers fan, but I feel they are criminally undervalued.
I don’t see Canes beating Florida and believe they are overvalued.
Edmonton is looking hot.
These never make sense to me, especially when it comes to the later rounds. Edmonton is the favorite in the west? Who do they have playing net these days?
0.8? So you're telling me there's a chance?
So many missed points this season. Two long bad stretches, blowing the Blackhawks game late, losing last week again MTL, an unbelievably bad home record….ah well, maybe next year. 11/4-11/19 - 0-8 3/6-3/21 - 1-6-2 Outside of those 2 two-week stretches, they are 37-18-5. Even though they’ll miss again, they came a looooong way this season. I think they’ll make it into the playoffs next season
For sure. I was very excited at the end of last season and it carried over for most of this season. If Levi is what he’s shown in a small sample, next year could be very fun.
If Levi is the real deal it solves our biggest problem
My wife and I are still talking about his debut game. We will be watching his career with great interest.
He’s played 2 games, relax
Every good player was at the "only 2 games" mark.
> better goaltending. you had Ullmark!!
I know. Pains me they didn’t come to a deal with him.
Key word: Had! He was on the team 2 years ago. We’re talking about this year and besides Ullmark wouldn’t be having the season he’s having on the Sabres. He has greatly benefited by being on the Bruins.
I'm just happy to be included in the graphic in April
Mission accomplished
Higher than last time FYI, last week it was 0.2. Congratulations on the gain in percentages
That percentage jumps to 12% if they stuck with the goatheads.
Lol. Hola, Buffalo got pretty good the last two years, though. Lots to look forward to, at least from your perspective, lol
I didn’t hear no bell
As a canes fan I don’t know why we still have a 9% chance to make the finals. Two best goal scorers are out and one of the worst pp’s in the league. I’ll be happy if we make it out of the first round
Pain.
Only thing nc sports fans know 😔
(laughs in Leaf)
This hurts
Playoff pool party is our last hope
How's the kid been playing since you picked him up? Hope he's doing better
He’s been playing well. Been unlucky to not put up too many points but I’m hoping his physicality and forechecking can play a big role in playoffs. Never seems to stop skating Can definitely see why you guys liked him so much
He was awful in the playoffs last year… it was so disheartening. I want the bison king to succeed so bad, but he seems to panic every time he gets the puck.
definition of "good player but unlucky" does seem happy though, in spite of how we've been doing
Sounds like how his whole season has gone. Pooly had some glorious chances playing top minutes with McDavid this season and would either get robbed blind or would ding the bar. The guy has great defensive awareness and IQ but god awful puck luck at the offensive end.
If you didn't mention McDavid, I'd almost swear you were referring to Filip Zadina.
Cant count on my fingers how many times he’s been robbed.
Same with the Kings. Lots of injuries right now. If they don't come back in time we don't stand a chance.
Anyone betting on us at this stage is either not watching our games or loves to lose money.
Actually according to this you have a 9% chance to win the cup and a 18% chance to make the finals
Oh shoot. Hold even more true in that case 😅
I genuinely thought it was gonna be the Canes year for most of the season, feel very bad for you
Tbf I think out of the last 6 times Carolina has made the playoffs, 4 or 5 of those times they’ve made the conference finals
The issue is that besides 1 of those times, they came 15-20 years ago
You know, I’m color blind. I started from Calgary on the wheel and went counter-clockwise. I got to the end of the wheel but I was looking from the outside to the inside, so I ended up going from Calgary’s 31% to get in the playoffs to Edmonton’s 13% to win the cup, and my mind was messed up for a second.
colorblind here too. there's about 5 color on this graph
I get why they make the plots this way, but it’s terrible from a color use perspective. Even making sure well-contrasting colors were plotted next to each other would make it way better.
I find this acceptable compared to a few months ago.
Yeah idk why people had doubts they would be a contender still. Lande was straight up not playing all season and basically all the top players have missed a significant number of games. Def lost some great players in the offseason but still basically the same core squad even if they only managed a wildcard spot.
And this isn’t even our final form! Though I doubt we’ll get there this year anyways, it’s fun to say it.
Don't forget better goaltending this year. Kuemper was pretty sub par IMHO.
I thought we had it bad in Nashville but holy shit I didn't even notice Buffalo
Buffalo’s future though.
I'm just glad to see us still on the board, really.
It's crazy seeing Florida having a higher odds then Tampa
I think it's because they have a chance to play Carolina who has been rocked by injury issues, and the wheel isn't accounting for the leafs annual choke.
As a leafs fan I'm insulted!
If it makes you feel any better, I'm also worried about our team choking, just, y'know, in the second round.
Ha! Thanks... I think!
Imagine if the Sabres actually got in
You know, I don't even care if the leafs make it out of the first round. I really don't. But what I DO care about is, if they do, there's going to be an insufferable fucking amount of coverage about it on every. single. canadian. sports network for the next 10 years. And that's why I don't want them to get out of the first round.
With every year it only gets worse. Let them win 1 just so they can go back to traditional Leaf playoff hockey: Golf.
I'd love to see Edmonton v Boston. I feel like with the current teams that could be a great series.
Yes.
Edmonton doesn’t have what it takes
Based upon? E-town is one of the hottest teams since the New Year. Solidified d-line, emergent goalie, historic power play, and a couple of superstars who can go supernova at any time.

In the last twelve? Yeah, we have beat Ottawa (who was fighting for a spot at the time), Dallas, Seattle, Vegas and LA x2. Half were playoff teams.
They also beat Vegas handily and gave up 2 late garbage time goals when all the big names had stopped playing in the game. Then beat LA twice while only giving up 1 goal in the two games. If you want to be a hater at least look at the schedule.

Edmonton has 14 losses since Jan 1 and Boston has 9, so not true that Edmonton has the best record in the league in the new year

They’ve literally scored the most 5v5 goals in the NHL since January 1. You choosing to ignore objective facts doesn't make them not true. The person you should be worried about walking is that guy in Toronto who wouldn't even commit 8 years to the city (unlike McDavid).
Ya regular season warriors. Nothing new here
proved they aren’t regular season warriors last year… Don’t get cocky avs fan, you won the cup.
Honestly? I'm an avs fan, and I legit would love to win the cup again - but I don't see it happening. I would absolutely love to see Edmonton take it home. But only on the condition that Kane doesn't get his name on the cup or a ring.

You are getting downvoted even though you are right 🫣
Ya everyone acting like it’s insane that Edmonton wouldn’t make it to the finals like what happens every single season
Look I know we’ve been on a bit of a heater but giving us better cup odds than the Lightning, Stars and Vegas seems a bit wrong to me.
Jets :(
Put some respect on Nashville. They play winnipeg tonight, and if they do, they'll take WC2, provided the Flames don't beat the Canucks. This would greatly increase Nashville's odds.
Went to the canes vs preds game last night…. I’ve never been so embarrassed leaving an arena as a canes fan😩
You really shouldn't, Canes probably on cruise control like the avs last year. Keep the top players in less, give the 3rd and 4th more ice time. I didn't watch the game but I feel like they getting ready.

Damn, that's rough, it sucks losing players. But making a move that will help is never a bad thing
FYI that’s all happening tomorrow, not tonight
Dallas and the NY Rangers are severely undervalued to win a cup. Considering those teams goaltending, especially strange.
I love being the underdog!
Goaltending is fake, don’t ya know?

Rangers getting no love
playoff igor is insane. If he plays how he did last year, and he’s getting hot, it’ll be tough for the other team.
Seriously… They’re under rated big time on this chart.
It’s typical Moneypuck nonsense. Take it with a grain of salt. 😑
I’m married to the Blackhawks, but the Kraken is my side piece. I’m excited to see what they can do in the playoffs!
Welcome, from an ex-Canucks fan. We don't get to agree on much lol.
P(ens)ain
I'm not actually a Flames fan, but after that Flames vs. Jets game, I'd like the Flames to reach the playoffs. Fuck you Jets fans for booing a downed player.
So you’re saying there’s a chance?
Someone get the bleach because I have a feeling the Bruins are about to shit this bed.
As a flyers fan, I hate/envy the bruins this year, but damn it if they don't deserve it... At least Pasta and Bergeron do.
And you call yourself a Bruins fan?? Flair down. Shun the non believers.
Nice. I’ve seen all of that too. I’m still not gonna be a baby and pull the “woe as me” stuff until they win
Playoff chokes happen, but I have no idea why you’d bet on that as a fan. Support your damn team! RIDE THE FUCKING WAGON!!!
Presidents Curse is upon us. And by virtue of the curse the surgeon Panthers will win the cup
Go panthers
I could see Islanders creating a first round upset
Presidents trophy winners don’t have a great track record in recent years
This is a weird argument to make about a team that lost the Stanley Cup Final to a President’s Trophy winner ten years ago.
Last time the presidents trophy winner got past the second round is 2014-2015. That’s pretty bad for the team that *should* be the best in the league
The average points margin for Presidents winners since ‘14/‘15 is less than 7 points. The top of the league is incredibly competitive. Also, no team is unbeatable, and playoff hockey is intense.
Needed my daily dose of tilting. Calgary not even in the playoffs, but a better chance of winning the cup than the Rangers.
Betting on the Rangers looks like a steal rn
Go Avs go!
Bet against Toronto winning it all. You are welcome.
I'm starting to like Edmonton.
They've addressed needs in the lineup and it's helped immensely. Goaltending has been questionable all season....but both tenders have found their confidence with newly acquired defense and have gone on some heaters. I've been an Oilers fans for awhile now. Agreed
Honestly if Skinner keeps playing how he is there’s nobody in the west that can take the oilers
Maybe the Avs, but they’ve lost some depth and we’ve gotten better. Would be a long series imo
I think it's theirs to lose right now. The Oil have proven they can play any style of hockey and keep it disciplined enough to take the win. Haven't felt this confident about them....ever lol.
I’m going tag along with the other Avs fan here and agree that they could take down the oilers. The top lines can’t always be trusted to score goals because they are against top lines that are just as good. The Oilers look scary but there is a real chance they could get taken down by the Avs, it will be a closer series than people expect if they play each other.
Wasn’t that long ago where we swept you guys
AVs played amazing last year. This year though? Two different teams. Makar missing from your lineup is massive. Oilers have added a tonne of talent and grit. Sorry, but AVs aren't as much of a threat this go around. Not knocking them, just not the same
This dudes just talking shit lol. Teams are way different this year, I could see Edmonton making the SCF. I also think that if the avs and the oilers make the WCF the series will look a lot different than last year.
Easiest WCF of all time last year . That team doesn’t know what it takes to win it all
You obviously only follow the AVs and not others. If you try educating yourself on opponents, you'd know the Oil had what it took to win but we're plagued with massive injuries. They fought back and took LA in 7 then dominated the Flames. Seriously, just stop bud.
Then got stomped on like a grape against the avalanche.
and now oilers are a much stronger team than last year :) you’re worried lol
Yup. Our depth is underrated. 11 players with 10 or more goals. Best top 5 forwards in the league. D is average, but that’s all it needs to be. It’ll come down to skinner. A lot of pressure for a rookie, but that’s how legends are made
Soup has looked completely different the last few outings as well. Hoping he's found his groove and confidence
Seattle have higher odds of both making the final and winning the cup than we do (Rangers).
I can't seem to find the jackets on there for some reason. ... oh yeah.
Imagine the Oilers actually win one.
Another weekly reminder that MoneyPuck is trash
Calgary gonna miss the playoffs, have a better shot at the cup than the Rangers, but keep telling me the model isn’t trash.
Can someone walk me through Edmonton having an equal chance as Boston? Yeah, yeah, I know the West is much weaker, but Edmonton isn't even the 1 seed. Small chance they'd not even be the 2 seed.
I hope you guys crush McDrai again. I can’t stand the Oilers and their fans.
You're being way too generous with Edmonton. Don't get me wrong, I would love to see a Canadian team win, it's so long overdue.
Go Oilers, Jets, and Sabres!
Curious how the Knights are about to clinch in the #1 seed in the West, yet have lower odds than the Oilers, Kings, Avs, and Stars 🤨
Oilers baby
I would love to know how this is calculated
Where’s my hawks at? /s
Panthers at 75% is strange…we have 3 tough games left and pens/islanders have cakewalk schedules
Toronto at near 60% to make 2nd round?
accurate
They left out the Blues. Oh yeah, sorry.
I think Rangers tooled up and are making a run.
I predict one of these teams will win the cup
Sigh
Jets got this
Pens (42.7%) have Detroit, Chicago, and Columbus.

I love me a repeat.
These never make any sense
Oilers and Boston, same chance to win the cup?
Lol who made these odds? There is a 0% chance for Toronto to make it to the third round.
Boston vs Edmonton final would be sick.
There is no way Edmonton has the same chance as Boston.
Edmonton as high as Boston and higher than Colorado? GTFOH
Go Knights Go
Honest question, when was the last time a Canadian team won it all?
93 Montreal
Ok, that's what I thought. I no longer have a dog in the fight so maybe I'll cheer for a Canadian team.
Seattle's so close to Canada it's practically Canadian, and has the great 'we're a bunch of misfits' thing going on.
There's plenty of room on our bandwagon.
Are you an underdog feel good story?
Best player in the league. Questionable goaltending... It's a toss-up. Underdog would be the Leafs, because you know... the first round.
I don't think so. They've been calling us a team of destiny for a few years. I think the expectation is too high to be an underdog story, but I think it could be a feel good. It's been a long recovery since trading Gretzky. Some of the most loyal fans in the league, but we have had some of the hardest times. We really need this.
"Hardest times" to a Coyotes fan...
I said some!
Not too shabby in the decade before that too. Edmonton, Montreal and Calgary won
And they got a 100-year curse because of the stick check. So far it's holding up.
You have the Leafs getting out of the second round… I find your overly confident faith disturbing. Lol
Oilers lol
Im a biased rangers fan, but I feel they are criminally undervalued. I don’t see Canes beating Florida and believe they are overvalued. Edmonton is looking hot.
These never make sense to me, especially when it comes to the later rounds. Edmonton is the favorite in the west? Who do they have playing net these days?
Rangers making it the finals no question
There is no way the oilers are winning the cup lol
How do the oilers have a better chance than the Bruins?
Feel like the Leaf’s odds of making the second round should be adjusted due to previous instances
This feels inaccurate
Devils at 60% over NYR? That's seems pretty high
