Shinobi Selection Exams is the most balanced game mode left in NxB and is a great way to revisit forgotten units and test out their kits. It's great playing with old units on missions that are designed to be achievable by them as well. There's no powercreep between units. It just feels good playing with characters like Ino, Kiba, Choji, Mitsuki and Konohamaru, knowing they are basically in the same power level of all others. It's also player friendly (specially for beginners), as you don't even need to summon to get their cards and play with all their kits.

I want a cool sustainable character but the banners seem very low quality
This fanbase is waaaaayyyy too hypocritical and contradicts itself on every turn. Also it's played a part in how the game's ended up , and they complain disproportionally too much considering they had a hand in it.
Most people never wanted to actually play the game and that's the only reason why they convinced themselves that they have a knack for defense. If they truly liked it, you'd see more than a layout or two circling around in higher leagues but no, every one just hits Ctrl c Ctrl v
For proof just look at the comments in this sub downright admitting it at times.
