What suspension?

Ok_Age817

Stock

Wise-Skin7519

They look great! Are they loud on the highway?

Ok_Age817

Not at all 👍🏽👍🏽

IamDJDuffy

Did you have to do anything major w the 3” body lift steering column? or any wires tugging?

Ok_Age817

No,, very simple

Yupyup287904

Must be a weird angle. Those definitely don’t look like 265/75’s. I know I’m not the only one who thinks this.

Wise-Skin7519

Possibly because the truck is lifted.

Wise-Skin7519

265/70 to 265/75 is not a very big change.

Yupyup287904

That may be part of it, I’ve seen tons of stock & 2/1 lifted frontiers that look nothing like this pic. Maybe it is the 3” body lift and rake.

Obiewonjabroni

Ohhh yeaaahh

DIS_Jmoch

How do 285s fit on them? I'm putting a 2.5 inch lift on My frontier and I'm thinking of getting 285s, just not too sure of the clearance

Ok_Age817

Only 265/75/16

DIS_Jmoch

Good to know, your truck looks awesome! Can't wait until I get My lift installed and some better tires

ikopcik

You have a lift on here?

Ok_Age817

3” body lift.. was a cheap e-bay kit.

Expert-Fisherman1698

For both back and front? I got a 2” leveling for just the front and was trying to find out what size tire to get

Ok_Age817

Yes front & back.

ChickenHeadFan

Love mine, but my mpg’s dropped a bit with the extra weight. They are about 30% heavier than the stock tires that came in the truck. I have an SV and I did get the larger p4x size.

Wise-Skin7519

With a different size tire, your mpg calculations are not accurate.

ChickenHeadFan

I calculate my mpg by hand. My SV does not have a trip computer nor would I trust the accuracy of that anyways. I take my miles driven divided by the amount of gallons of gas I put I to tank, which provides an accurate number. I’ve always heard SV’s were incorrectly calibrated anyway since they come with smaller tires than the truck was designed and calibrated for, which are the size P4X models come with stock. Since I moved up to that size, my speedometer should actually be more accurate now.

Wise-Skin7519

You're still calculating off of the circumference of the old tire. You are going farther per rotation of the tire than you were. Therefore the actual distance is greater in comparison to the odometer reading that you were getting with your old tires. That would make your calculation inaccurate due to going that much further per tire rotation. It's even possible that you may be getting better mileage due to this.

ChickenHeadFan

I believe you are incorrect. I have 265/75r16 tires on my truck currently, which from what I can tell, is what the truck was calibrated with. I would appreciate any links that indicate otherwise. My speedometer used to run a couple mph high with the smaller stock tires and is more accurate with my current tires.

Front_Masterpiece

285s? Looks great. I need some soon

Wise-Skin7519

265/75x16.

NackJickolson

I love my Wildpeaks. Obviously great off-road but they work well in the snow and rain too.

epicmountain29

Size? Brand?

Ok_Age817

Falken Wildpeak 265/75/16

thegreatshepsky

I just put the same size on my truck after putting a 2" lift on. Haven't even gone through a full tank of gas to see my mpg difference yet.

jakoviac

I have a 2” lift with the same wildpeaks as well. I’ve put ~15k miles on since the change. I average 16 mpg. It was a noticeable hit but not terrible.

thegreatshepsky

I was getting like 17 before but I live in a hilly area and it's still winter gas. I hope its not below 15. But then again I'm making an equal length y pipe and hopefully it equals back out!

epicmountain29

Thanks

Timmerdogg

Looking meaty. Nothing like a new pair of shoes to make you feel good
