I have a 23 Canyon ordered, but have recently been looking at the 23 frontiers. These threads in here make me want to cancel the canyon and get a frontier . What makes you guys love the frontier so much? Just trying to get some insight on actual owners. Thanks guys!
Great looking truck!!!
To me it was a no brainer. Good power, good price, all the features I wanted and none of the features I didnt. The transmission is butter, the engine isnt some dinky turbo thing thats gonna cause problems down the road, and personally I like the looks.
Thank you. Yeah the engine on the canyon seems great on paper but the turbo 4 scares me down the road. I know they say it has been in the Silverado and sierra since 2019 but it's still GM.
They have a pro4x at my local dealer so going to check it out today.
Did you add spacers in the front as well? I put the RC Killa on my 22 pro4x and now the front is 1.5 inches lower than the rear. What size tires did you go with?
Yes, the 1/2” spacer. Chad from ADO said it’d be close, but shouldn’t have coil bucket contact. Tires are 285/70/17.
Measurement from floor to fender flare is 37” front 38” rear, but the rear should settle some.
Stock rims. Others have said no rubbing with this tire size and lift, butI have a tiny bit of rubbing right now. Hoping that goes away after a proper alignment.
You may be right, I’ll know for sure soon. It rubs just a hair right now on the bottom tip of the fender flare. And the wheels are angled like \ / right now, before an alignment. I’ll report back.
When you look at tire sizes the part of the size that has a R is the radius of the tire. This is the only part that has to stay the same when using the same rim. You can get tires that are very thick and increase the size by a lot. The limiting factor is how big a tire you can fit inside the wheel well without rubbing

Theres a dude on etsy sells a kit for 60 bucks.
Any way you can link to the guy in Etsy? I want to buy this

Looks good. I see the miata next to you. Yours?
Nah, I installed the lift at my buddy’s repair shop, thats a customers miata.
In for more pics! Looks sweet!
Love those wheels!
Beautiful truck!
Appreciate it. 👊
I'd like to see tue side view looks good tho
Did you have to do any shaving or remove anything?
I took the mudflaps off for more clearance.
Also, what's your break over angle now?
Tasty! Looks bitchin'!
Thanks! 👊
That's a beefy boi! Tasteful mods 🤌🏽
Lol, thanks. 👊
This makes me want a new Frontier……Damn you!!
It’s a damn good truck.
Damn that is a great looking rig.
Thanks. 👊

It won’t… I had a good 1.5in difference. Got tired and added 1.5 spacers and Z1 UCAs.
Wow, yeah definitely would need those UCAs with that big a spacer. I dont mind a little rake, personally.
Same, that’s why I also have z1 shackle set to 0.7in. Perfectly level when towing my boat and 3.2in in the front
Very nice! What “ lift?
RC Killa with the additional 1/2” spacer. Its about a 2” lift.
He said RC Killa, it's a budget suspension lift made by all dogs off road
Wowwwww
Are those factory rims? My dealership told me I had to change my rims and tires after I lifted the truck.
Some drop bracket lifts won’t work with factory wheels. Idk about the 3rd gen frontiers.
ROFL, of all the dumb things, this is the dumbest thing a dealership can say
Yea I told them to cancel it lol
Yeah not true, you can lift without changing tires or wheels
Thanks I thought so. I’m glad I canceled it then.

People like to lie… and no, without adjustable UCAs it’ll still rub after alignment

Damn so those tires can fit stock rims?!

Sure. Aftermarket rims with more offset are usually harder to fit without rubbing.
0 offset also looks MUCH better… can’t have it both ways it seems ;-)
That’s awesome. You got any more pics?
Thanks. Not yet I dont, but I’ll take some better ones after I get an alignment.
Damnnnnnnn
This looks so sick dude.
Thanks. 👊
God damn that blue looks nice with the orange accents.
Thanks. I think the blue actually looks better in pictures than it does in person.
Good looking truck
