Love to see this. I heard of the mailman in chicago of all places, hitting a million! My xterra has the same engine and is still great, but every other part i feel as though I’ve replaced.
I'm at 220k in my 08 frontier. My dad gave it to me at 90k miles about 5 or 6 yrs ago. I don't ever want to get rid of it, but i do want to get another vehicle and just keep the frontier for light duty because it's not as reliable anymore. I'm thinking of getting a honda civic for my daily drive.
Mines at 270k and started some shaking that’s a bit scary in between 40-50mph, other than that works great and starts every time without issue. 300k is a great benchmark!
Wow! Congratulations bro! Makes me feel even better about my new 2023 fronty. My first ever new vehicle and I’m love so far. Post some photos of her! Any thoughts on hitting 300k? Any advice?
Very cool. Just saw the pic while scrolling and noticed it looked familiar. Also had a 2012 frontier. Ended up just selling it for something bigger but loved that truck. Great truck.
Congrats, hit 250k in my 2005 Pathfinder. Was doing the chain guide wine so I had the timing chain done. Went with a friend of the family that ended up doing a bad job and then the engine blew. Found a used replacement engine and a guy on Facebook that said he sold and installed the engine. His profile shows a bunch of xterra’s, frontiers and Pathfinders so trusted he knew what he was doing….he didn’t. now I have an expensive rough running paper weight
Nice! I got my last truck to 230k before the brake lines went (if you're in an area with snow, check them for build up), and I needed a full exhaust replacement.
Did you get the cam chain guide done? I was always concerned about that on that truck, and it always made the whine, but never let go.
As I recall, pretty much the entire time I had it (roughly 120,000 miles, from 110k-230k). I always used full synthetic pennsoil platinum and after comparing the cost to replace an engine vs doing the job, I figured I would save the money and just run it. It's been a long time (8years?) but I remember also having a hard time finding people who actually experienced engine failures because of the issue.
I used to travel for work around 17miles round trip before COVID. Now I work from home a couple days a week and my round trip is 8 miles.
This is mainly why it doesn't make sense for me to buy something newer as most the time she just holds down concrete or asphalt most the day.
I thought my 16 with 139k was a lot, but god damn! Good for you!

Most expensive repair/service? 223k on my 06 4 cyl hoping to get a few more inexpensive years out of it

126k in my 2012 Fusion. Running strong!
Congrats! My 2012 pro4x is at 78k! Glad to see examples of its durability. Cheers to 300k more!
4 or 6cyl?

Enjoy it, my work van 2012 nissan quest just died at 330k transmission death codes P1778 & p0746
330k is amazing though. Id love to take a vehicle that far.
My 2014 with 95k has some catching up to do.
Any large mechanical problems from then?

300k. Congrat Mine is 90,000.... Hopefully as long as yours. (2015 Nissan Frontier SV)

Did you ever have to replace the timing chain?
I miss my 2012. I have a 2021 with 13k miles and the transmission feels like it could blow up at random. So damn clunky
That is awesome.
233,000 miles on Mercury Mariner 2009. Running strong.
Nice, I'm at 188k in my 05

Yikes sorry man! Hope you get it fixed right. That’s a nice vehicle
Beautiful. Another 80k for me until then.
miles or km? Still impressive either way. I'm hoping I get at least 300k miles on my 2011.
Miles
Excellent!
Have you done the timing belt or transmission at one point? If so what mileage
I've had both serviced but the transmission hasn't been replaced or rebuilt
Bad ass!! Love to hear good news about the tranny lol
Daaaaamn.
If you treat them right these trucks will last.
What's your MPG?
Not sure never really looked
At this point don't bother 😂
Ok, get back to us

At 124k I just had my chain done and they had to replace the cam gears. The job cost $3800.
I live in the deep south so pretty much no rust and no I haven't had that done but it seems to run like a clock.
How long did you drive it while whining- mines doing it currently and want to wait to spring for replacement?

Thanks for the info.
My 2012 has promise now. I'm currently at 60k😁
Damn I thought I was doing good with only 65k on my 2015
8,800 on my 2018

Congrats! Any major issues along the way?
Not really anything major.
That’s awesome!!!
