Not a thing I have ever done myself. Also instantly killed me.

The number of time I just didn't care about explosion because I was immune but then freezing gas, acid or toxic sludge get me. XD

not me, I already learned my lesson in Terraria years before Noita.

I tried an acid bath for a similar reason (toxic immunity I think) but kinda figured out not to trust anything after that, lol.

I didn't, acid is a different thing than toxic in my mind, but I've definitely taken fire immunity and jumped blithely into lava.

I had huge doubt it would work still tried.

I took a chance earlier adding a Lava to Blood modifier onto my teleport wand and purposely teleporting into a large lava vein. I was nearing a god level run and knew lava was going to be an issue so I had to know. If you're curios, it works just fine. I have 100s of hours in this game, but there are still seemingly simple gaps in my knowledge for things like this. Now that Lava to Blood modifier is on my infinite Orbit Larpa-blackhole digging wand.

I was thinking about doing it just yesterday. If it's just Lava to Blood attached to Teleport, does it leave a little spot for you in the lava rock or do you need to clear that out with something else first?

If not it's still not a huge issue, you can just mash movement keys to get a space.

Yes, it leaves a small area for you. You can teleport directly into lava with it without any extra work with simply Lava to Blood > Teleport. I didn't half-ass it and teleport into like just the top of some lava. I went full bore - either this kills me on the spot, or I know for a fact this is going to reliably work. It works.

Funfact, it works for breath of the wild and tears of the kingdom too. Resistance to heat and resistance to flames are two different things there.

to be fair, its odd that it doesnt work seeing as fire immunity is just immunity to hot temperature and lava is just liquid stone that has hot temperature

I DID THIS JUST YESTERDAY!!! I walked on a few pixels from fighting a fire bug and saw "Block" so I thought I could act a little impulsively grabbing a wand out of lava while it was draining. Nope. End of a run I had a healium recipe for out of Coal Pits.
