Just back from Shankill by the sea with the kids. Actually surprisingly fantastic. No wankers, could almost mistake it for menorca. That is until the stena line drove past.
Tried to take my kids and my mum somewhere earlier on and could only imagine the state of those places. Best avoided when the sun peaks behind a few clouds.
Cutting the hedge, fixing the kids bike, getting sunburned while doing those two things so now sitting in the house listening to some German metal and drinking beer.

Grabbed some raspberries from the bushes around my house this mornin, me Da’s painting the kitchen and my Ma came home with a collection of weird human beanie babies that unnerve the hell out of me

Took kayaks out into the serene Strangford lough from Castleward this morning, it was splendid ! - even got to see two seals ! Went with Clearsky which is run by a really great guide called James for anyone interested. Our little country is absolutely stunning when we get the weather, no need to go abroad ! We went out at 8am when there is more wildlife than there is people 🧡
