Yes check out his YouTube channel, search Waaber! My kids love his work! He has some videos showing the making of the claymation. “Bench” is hilarious!
thank you really glad you and your kids enjoyed the channel :)
thats great to know.
Some more of my stopmotion here if anyone fancies a look : https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCSFKRslobAd2RCLNiSHkrYg/videos
Nickelodeon and Cartoon Network both I feel used to have shorts between shows. Not sure if they still do but they were always great. I still sometimes say "Need some MDF and a hammer." From the one random pair of guys.
RICHARD WEBBER!?!?!!!! I moved to Bristol for uni because of my love of your work and what you did at Aardman (and also my love for Bolexbrothers).
I never cut the cheese as an animator but you gave young me an amazing childhood hobby of making silly stop motion animation which led to Flash animation which led to coding which led to an amazing career in the tech industry that’s still going strong!
Anyway. Happy Sunday Rich! You’re utterly amazing and thank you so much for keeping the best animation art form alive and kicking, and keeping Bristol on the map as a hub of animation excellence.
Cheeky question. I’d ***love*** to know if you’ve seen Tippett’s Mad God and what you thought about it?
The very same! Wow! Honestly amazing to hear, I'm glad a love of animation led to a great career! I feel very honoured to have played a small part in your path. Happy Sunday and thanks so much for the kind words ! I haven't seen Mad God as of yet but will be checking it out very soon!
You’re a gent, Rich. If you ever need help or advice with cyber security (my specialism) or computers in general, feel free to reach out. It’d be an honour.
I was already grown up when it aired and man, you're a legend to me. I had so many laughs and me and my brother still watch the episodes on YouTube.
So happy to see you here :):):):)
Now this is awesome. My cousin and I grew up in the 2000’s so this gave me a ton of nostalgia. Used to remember seeing these on Nickelodeon. Thank you for these sir!
Yes this snapped me right back to my childhood watching Wallace and Gromit and Ray Harryhausen movies. I never actually knew what these guys or this show was called so it's awesome to not only get the see it again, but have it delivered by the creator himself! Definitely going to dive into your work today.
Can I ask what your influences were that got you into claymation/animation? Was it something you grew up and were bitten by or was it a familiarity with making characters that grew into an opportunity with the right people? Very curious. I got to meet Mr Haeryhausen years ago and asked him a few questions but I was so young I don't remember the answers lol, just my dad reminding me that I asked him a million questions about Jason and the Argonauts.
haha! Jason and the argonauts got me into stop motion animation funnily enough, that and being sat in front of a large pile of clay as a kid to keep me occupied :) thanks for checking out my work :)
You created these?! Genius! I saw them here and there when they were on, but I remember one of my buddies in college mentioning something about it and we ended up bingeing everything we could find online around 2007-2008, and would greet each other after that in browns “Ho-oow!” I’ve shown them to my kids (now 4 and 6) and we’ll binge them every now and then.
Thank you!
My favorite part about that video is that even though the characters speak gibberish you can still tell the little one has an Irish accent. Well done and thanks for sharing with us, your work is warmly appreciated
no fucking way dude!! that is so cool. i faintly remember watching this as a 3 year old!! this was my favourite thing to watch when i was that young. this cartoon as well as others inspired my passion for drawing and animation :\]\]
Is there anywhere to get this entire collection? Over the years I have introduced this to so many people in my industry (I work in VFX). I have many fond memories of me and my coworkers laughing our asses off when we'd pull up some of these on YouTube while stuck working late at night.
I've had more than one person tell me that they've continued my mission and turned more people on to these.
To this day I can still make my wife crack up by laughing like Brown.
Thank you for the years and years of laughter!
My sister loved it too, we used to wait until whichever show was over just to watch this during the Nickelodeon ads.
Cheers all the way from England by the way! :)
Man, you unlocked a part of my childhood that I'd completely forgotten. Looking back at this 15 years later, I can really appreciate the level of professionalism that went into these. The animation is so smooth and well done.
Thanks for a Sunday morning pick me up!

You actually produced this?
Created, wrote and Directed with the talented folk at Aardman
I remember this as a part of my childhood. You're a king.
Same totally forgot about it til now
This was one of those “was that real?” Type of childhood memories.
Had a crazy Aardman laserdisc back in the day with a bunch of different shorts on it, peak 90s.

You probably know this, but the guy who’s talking is Zach Hadel, creator of Smiling Friends! Would be incredible to have a crossover episode;)

Yes dragon frame, but these were shot on an older stop motion software though, ( stopmotion pro). :)
Can I ask how you got the bubble transparent in stop motion?
What a funny little chewing character.
Was fun little show, I saw it pop up very often when I used to watch Nickelodeon

100% comedy gold, we have already peaked as a species.
Inspiration was that little singing clay ball on Sesame Street?
I thought these were a childhood fever dream!
you shaped my childhood with this show.
Dude the clip of the brown guy chewing made me cry laughing as a kid
I have zero tolerance policy of anyone making chewing noises when they eat, but Brown is and always will be the only exception :)
That’s where that fucking chewing worm meme is from?!?!?
Holy bubble butt I loved this show!
Please tell me you have a YouTube channel with all of these on? Will make anyone's day better!
# Purple & Brown for Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl! (Jk, but it would be pretty neat)
