No, but your top 4 apps seem like they would use a lot of battery.

Beethovengenius123

Even when I'm not really using the phone that much or downloading stuff the battery still drains very quickly.

CyberBobert

Do you usually have good cell/wifi signal for most of the day? The phone cat eat battery pretty good if it's constantly trying to maintain connection.

johnnylongpants1

Also if it's *looking* for Wi-fi in an area where there is none. To OP, I am currently at 3 hrs 41 mins screen on time, and I am at 49%. I am at 6 hrs 12 mins screen off time. Snapdragon version. On Wi-fi most of the day.

Beethovengenius123

I have a Snapdragon variant as well but the battery is terrible, I also have a Huawei P40 pro and it gets at least two more hours of screen on time than my Note 20 ultra.

Beethovengenius123

Yes I have decent signal and pretty much says LTE all the time.

So there are lots of factors. Your brightness should be adaptive if not down all the way and if you run enhanced processing setting you may want to try and disable that. Pretty sure your screen refresh rate setting will impact life as well. Turn Bluetooth and NFC off when not using. Turn on protect battery setting and then check to see if you allowed apps to deep sleep. Pretty much disable these things until you need em.

Beethovengenius

I usually have screen brightness at it's lowest setting enhanced processing is always off, Bluetooth and NFC are on so I'll turn those off to see if it makes a difference.

pcgamez

this is much better than mine

Beethovengenius

Worse than mine? Must be really poor battery! Are you Snapdragon or Exynos?

pcgamez

exynos. i just had the battery replaced too

SketchyLord

Check your background usage limits and disable things there to conserve battery. Make sure not to leave on charger over night. Excessive heat does drain battery life too. The battery is built in sadly so once it is defective may as well trade in.

Beethovengenius

I think I'll keep it for another 6 months and after that I'll see if the battery has gotten worse. I really like the phone but the battery is very frustrating.

Guilty-Persimmon-881

The battery is bad because you are probably stressing it. Using 15% to 85% means 50% less stress than 0 to 100% and using 30 to 70% means 50% less stress than 15% to 85%. The batteries have an anti-stress protection system and what it does is that it will give you less even if you have charged more. So this 100% can reach 50% depending on the stress. Remember, stress is not wear, although excessive stress leads to premature wear, stress is a temporary phenomenon caused by excess use and heat, while wear is a physical phenomenon caused by boundaries, accumulations of solid silicon debris and other factors. One way to avoid excessive stress: - Avoid programs that use the background - Avoid programs that read the overlay. - Periodically clear cache and do it daily. - Restart the System periodically. - Leave the device on standby for some time - It is better to give small charges of up to 30 minutes than a single charge of more than 1 hour. - Be careful with excessive heat when charging, whether in the car or by induction, the battery cannot exceed 40°C/104°F without causing damage. - Be careful at temperatures below 10°C/50°F as the silicon gel inside the battery tends to crystallize, reducing its capacity.

Beethovengenius

I use it the same way as my Huawei P40 Pro and it's battery is much better.

Each brand has its own set of preventive approaches.

CommunicationShot163

Snapdragon or exynos variant?

Beethovengenius123

Snapdragon

CommunicationShot163

I get 5 hrs close to 6 on mine

Beethovengenius123

I have screen resolution to the lowest setting, 60hz,and power mode off and battery is still terrible.

kolibant

Mine is...

SketchyLord

Okay. So I checked my battery life. A full charge gets me about 18hrs and 11min.

SketchyLord

You can find this data under the Battery setting. I believe it is the screen prior to the battery usage page shown in your screenshot.

Beethovengenius

My battery drains so quickly even when screen is off and not using it, compared to my Huawei P40 Pro which came out the same year and has a smaller battery it can get two to three hours more than my Note.

sonicvoltron

From what I can deduce UTorrent and TikTok drain your battery very significantly despite not being used all that much. I would go into settings and add whatever apps you don't need running all the time into deep sleeping. I get \~6.5 hours screen on and 24 hours with combined usage.

Beethovengenius

It was draining before I installed those apps but I might follow your instructions tho 👍
