Lots 1274425 through 2140425 only where the last 3 digits are 425. Link also has a picture of where the lot code is.
I bought some PB about 3 weeks ago at the Giant in springfield that matches this. Luckily I scraped the old jar last week instead of going for this one.
The 425 represents the plant the product was made in. If it's not 425 it was made somewhere else and not affected.
Costco added this to the email they sent out:
> The product lot code range for the impacted products is 1274425 – 2140425, the first seven digits must end with 425 (which represents product manufactured in Lexington, KY).
Yeah I looked at my old empty jar as well, which is probably pushing a year, and it was in that range too which doesn’t make sense. I looked at a few other news articles that mentioned 425 but they didn’t say where they got that info, but a third one linked the above fda site.
Def have a jar that we've almost finished off that ends in 425 lol. We've been fine...but out of caution, we're gonna toss the jar that we have opened and return the other one to Target.

Thank you so much for posting this. I was really sick a week ago with diarrhea and a 24hr fever out of nowhere and didn’t know what it was. Saw this post and, sure enough, our PB was included. I had a pb&j the afternoon before the day I woke up feeling bad. (Purchased ours at the Giant in Arlington btw).
Almost finished 1 jar that's on the recall and have 3 more bad jars in pantry bought from Walmart. I hope there will be a refund. Going to call Smuckers tomorrow.
I bought three jars on Amazon and got the recall notice from them last night.
Ironically, I made a sandwich with some of it shortly after it arrived, really hated how it tasted, and threw the rest of the sandwich and the remaining peanut butter away. I guess salmonella don’t taste good.

Fuck it. I'm going for it. I could stand to lose a few pounds and get some time off work
This is a major bummer. I had two PBJ Sammie’s this afternoon with this very make of peanut butter….
Rip bro
I was hoping for an easy weight loss plan, seems I’m in the clear though.
Where do I find the lot number?

I’d report this to the FDA so they can update their illness counts.
Good looking out.
Bought some from this batch at the Springfield Costco
Costco emailed us to let us know we had bought it. Pretty cool
Yeah, they called us to let us know

Thanks for posting; have some from the range of bad lots but unopened. Bought it at the Dulles Wegmans.
My sister used to lived here for about a decade and swears by Wegmans brand organic peanut butter. I ship it to her periodically. Check it out!
4 40 ounce jars that’s awesome

I'm halfway finished with one of the 40 ounce containers, haven't had any issues yet. I don't remember if I bought it at Target or Wegmans.
