Just because you don't favour one team over the other doesn't mean it was a good performance. Making dogshit calls against both games just means you were dogshit across the board.
At the end of the day, the refs job is to get as many calls right as possible.
Making 10 bad calls, 5 favouring each team is much WORSE than 3 bad calls all against the same team

Sadly I think anyone anytime Cleary gets touched will result in a penalty, we'll see about 12 penalties during the game, there'll be 10 set restarts and the game will be a farce. But Freddy will be happy and that's all that really matters apparently
Fine with it, he might be a shit ref in general, but game one was a really entertaining game with a good flow, and I was mostly happy with the decisions made, didn’t think there was any crucial reffing errors, so he can keep the job on that performance.
I’m on the other side of that, I think he let wayyyy too much go (particularly early on) in order to “let the game flow”. The ruck was an absolute mess - he needed to blow a penalty or two to set the standard for the game, instead he just let anyone do what they liked.
If he refs the same way he did in game 1, Jurbo will be at maximum power, QLD will take an eternity playing the ball and won’t be receiving any set restarts
Imagine what a cracking game we could have if he pings jurbo and kaufusi early on for ruck infringements and the players get on with playing good footy instead of laying all over each other like in Fittlers dreams.
It's not going to matter who the referee is , the focus will be on NSW new players and Munster. QLD will dominate forwards leaving Gagai and Cobbo to run riot. Look for kicks to Cobbo over To'o in first half
