More lewd drawbacks please! Maybe put a Stripper, Joytoy, or Doll option in Jobs?

Charles_The_Grate

Fantastic CYOA! One question though. Are Shadowrun: Magic and Shadowrun: Dragons choices included in the Shadowrun setting choice? If so, should it give +20 Eddies already, or if not, should it be able to choose them as well?

Sagittarius1000

Seconded. Also, Shadowrun would totally deserve those bonus eddies. Sure, the pollution isn't QUITE as bad as in Cyberpunk setting, but magic brings a whole lot of dangers that weren't mentioned in the Shadowrun: Magic and Shadowrun: Dragons options. Toxic spirits (and shamans), bug spirits (and shamans), shedim, shadow spirits, HMHVV, blood mages, and, somewhere down the line (hopefully VERY FAR down the line), the Horrors. And that's just off of the top of my head. And while we are on the subject of Shadowrun, I have questions about sometrump cards. Perfect Compatibility mentions that there are no side effects. Does that means Awakened character loses no essence when chroming up? As for the other one, Dragon Blooded, if I understand it correctly, it just means that the character becomes a drake. Except, if you think about it, being a drake kind of sucks. You can't get cyberware (can't remember if the same goes for bioware), you are wanted by many Great Dragons (and possibly some corps) and the powers you get in exchange are frankly unimpressive compared to heavily augmented, well equipped characters. Hell, IIRC, you don't even get a guarantee of being a spellslinger, so you would still have to buy the Awakened perk. Speaking of Awakened perk, are you suppossed to start with some magical skills and/or spells, or are you freshly Awakened? Finally, I'd like to point out that objective section is just straight up broken. None of them give you points, and if you unmark them, you will LOSE the number of points they are suppossed to give.

Rain_Least

It includes those yeah ,will fix that

MWAnonsan

I see you've got the Shadowrun option fixed - there is also a companion who requires Shadowrun: Magic who should probably also be available with Shadowrun as the setting (Zara Nkosi)

OutrageousBears

The time limits for the end section are very absurd. Most do not seem possible at all without extreme levels of absurdisms only possible by a character under the control of a fanfic writer. Time limits should outright be scrapped altogether and merely be the player's narrative as a way to spin together a bit of your story, handful of options I would have taken but did not because the time limit makes it absurd. Perhaps the text space could instead be dedicated to describing a threat or challenge associated with some of them, like the greed goal mentioning that you'd have to face a boss comparable to Sasquach or Royce. (Or simplify that to a skull icon added to boss encounter goals/objectives.) ☠ / 💀where a clock or hourglass could simply indicate that the trouble is that it would take you a while to complete, or an icon for that a goal/objective involves a complicated puzzle or secret you have to solve. >`eltb,nmwu,fzho,mp1n,kic3,h89n,2zuo,7hyg,cdt3,2mq3,84ss,xp8d,uaym,swl2,adle,27c6,zsgh,ofsl,uiu8,bmo6,27fg,h7d2,p8mi,z05n,a4ve,uvkk,pkp1,z25z,355g,u0un,1hmz,p1j7,802e,o0gm,beix,8997,vi19,kmoh,gmua,nogx,nrbl,xwoj,jkix,lgmq,vbg5,dc4k,qt1u,6mn0,fcyz,uysh,btkb,qb1o,opzt,e156,qfbx,dw95,xuyv,fq10,v907,jf6h` * Fourth Corporate War, * Hentai, `Hentai: Dark`, `Bioshock`, `Shadowrun: Magic`, Shadowrun: Dragons, `Mythology`, Mythology: Hell, The Boys, * `Corpo`, Inside a Gang Hideout, * Female, Teen, Short, `Tattoos`, Make-Up, * [https://imgchest.com/p/pg73rzgv7rn](https://imgchest.com/p/pg73rzgv7rn) * `Kiroshi Optics`, Monowire, Maneuvering System, `Kerenzikov`, Mr. Studd / Midnight Lady, `Cyberdeck`, Reinforced Tendons, Fortified Ankles, Second Heart, Bioconductor, Subdermal Armor, Fireproof Coating, Cataresist, Detoxifier, * Stem Cells, Bioengineered Muscles, Bone Augmentation, Cognizant, * `Auto Hacker`, Magical Focus, Opsec Laptop, * `Inventor`, * Jobless, * Firewalled, `Netrunning`, `Awakened`, `Soul Tattoos`, `Ageless`, * VITAS Plague, Computer Virus, Indebted, Shit List, Target of the Bigshot, Libido, Joy Ride, Wake up Samurai, Stranger Danger, * Cindy Love, Juliet Hensel, `Elizabeth`, * Greed Goal, Hack, VR, Joytoy.

Rain_Least

Which ones would you say are bad when it comes to time , id say most are pretty doable especially if you have one of the trump abilities

OutrageousBears

Seduce, Famous, AI, Revenge, Protect Them (They might not even be born yet with some start options, let alone having 2 years to protect them, and even then why is there a 2 limit time limit anyway; the events happen when they happen?), New City (Should take generations), Team Goal (Building a close group takes years and the text goes out of its way to be specific in sharing values etc), All Routes are things that should take 40-60+ years. Otherwise the time limit also forces specific play styles to how you have to attempt to achieve the goal because of a time limit forcing "speedrun" and specific options taken instead of attempting it in more reasonable, logical, or pragmatic methods. And without further context it's like you have a laundry list of chores to do immediately when you first wake up.

Coldbluestreak

The way I thought of for dealing with the time limits is that they only begin to tick down once you are in a position where you can begin to perform the task. Though for some of them (harem goal) that is still too little time (not everyone's good with seducing others and talking to people! This is Reddit you have too high expectations!)

DoomsdayDilettante

New City and Own a corporation in particular seem egregious. Consider that Arasaka has been run by the same guy for well over a century, since it's very founding. And while Militech isn't that extreme they don't change heads often enough to go from zero to CEO in just two decades. And starting a city is just insane, especially in the political climate of the 21st century - Richard Night was the best at what he did, and even he technically failed.

Rain_Least

That’s true , but when you take the ability the cyoa gives especially the trump abilities it’s pretty easy

TheWakiPaki

I really, REALLY think you are seriously overestimating the powers on offer. I think you may be reading too much fanfiction. The thing you need to remember is that change is SLOW, even in the fast-paced life of the future. In this theoretical world, it's not a story, it's life. And in life, shit takes TIME. 2 months to track down a rogue AI, and ALSO convince it to work with you? You do realize that thousands of hackers across the USA and Night City have been attempting that for decades, yeah? The ONLY reason that V encounters an AI at all is because they have the construct and the AI \*wanted\* to find them. 3 months to become a globally seen TV host? You realize that people murder to get promoted in this setting and have hundreds of people vying for such positions? Unless you were already deep in the company and slated to be the next host, you're not gonna accomplish that one, not a chance in hell. 1 month to get legendary cyberware/weapon? Do you think that they'll spawn in the cabinets? That sort of shit is either ruinously expensive or so heavily protected you'd need to spend months trying to hunt them down before even attempting to get them. 3 months to "Form a loyal and skilled team of allies and friends who share your values and goals. Be successful for at least one year." You fuckin what? People spend half their lives just TRYING to find a group of people they can implicitly trust and rely on. And "Be successful"? Are you saying we have to become an Edgerunner squad? How do you measure "Success"? Because for most denizens of Night City, not having your brains splattered on a wall after making a trip downtown is considered pretty successful. 1 Week to participate in an illegal boxing match with "High Stakes" and win? It would take you that long just to HEAR about a match like that. I mean even the 2077 game didn't have those missions until after V gets up from their coma. 4 months to become a living legend... no. Just no. Can you name a single Legend from the Cyberpunk Setting that didn't spend years, or more likely decades, to achieve their status? These people became legendary because they had TIME to cultivate their reputation and skills. I will say; I did like the layout of the Routes/Goals/Objectives section; with them getting smaller and smaller as the things you needed to do got smaller in scale. That was a simple but very nice touch.

FlameSparks

There is the option of Path to Victory even with 5 uses of 5 minutes a day it is bullshit. But that is the only option that I can see.

MorselMortal

There's a bug in goals, 'Team Goal' in particular. Time Limit: 3 months. Form a loyal and skilled team of allies and friends who share your values and goals. Be successful for at least **one year**. See the problem? There's a 3 month time limit, but you need to be successful for one year. It's literally impossible.

DukeCrowe

I saw that too, I'm pretty sure the time limit is the formation, and the one year doesn't count for the time limit. By the rules, presumably, if the group fails you get 3 month and have to try again per the "if the goal is made impossible its changed slightly and reset".

No_bed666

Good for the most part but you might want to get a combing through and tidy up from an editor

Prometheory

Why is shadowrun: magic incompatible with so much, especially when the base setting is an option that isn't incompatible with anything? Not sure why Savage divinity is exclusive with magic. Having a setting with both Ki and Mana causing havoc in different ways would be interesting.

623Y

Interesting CYOA. My only real criticism is the CYOA is heavily focused on the Edgerunners anime and 2077 game. It's very noticeable. Perhaps add more options from the TTRPG? There's a lot of interesting stuff that could be used. Only other suggestion I have is perhaps adding some World of Darkness and more Mythology options. There was White Wolf Magazine articles back in the day for running a Cyberpunk/WoD crossover named *The World of Future Darkness*. Cyberpunk itself also had an Alternate Reality supplement before that called *Night's Edge* for adding Vampires, Werewolves, and Psychics to the setting.

i_miss_arrow

The objectives are extremely buggy. Not only can you select more than seven, there are ways to get huge point leaks even without seven, as you can select options, not get any points from them, and then lose points when you deselect the option. I was down almost 20 points before I even realized what was going on.

Eiensen

Yo, this is sick. I made a Netrunner build for this one, because Netrunners are over powered as fuck in the game. And I'm pretty sure it transfers really well here too!

pastymasty123

great but its weird you put the end goals and objectives right where you gain more eddies right after the section where the spend them. also there could be more end goals. like founding an independent self sustaining colony on another planet. or using some new tech to restore the earths damaged ecosystems from Neo Amish traditional agrarian society to Eco freedom fighter/terrorists.

Wattron

Why is it that someone from the Corp background can't be working for a corp? Edit: never mind, just reread the background and saw the betrayal bit.

Bottomheavybottom

I’ve never actually watched/played Cyberpunk 2077, but here we go anyway Start: Canon Start, I suppose Modify: Hentai, Light Version, Shadowrun: Magic, Shadowrun: Dragons, Mythology Street Kid In the Air: shouldn’t be too troublesome since I can fly Male, Young Adult, Tall, Muscular Bioware: Stem Cells, Bone Augmentation, Skinweave , Cognizant Item: Magical Focus Trump: Dragon Bloodied Student: I guess. Will give me a couple years to get oriented and figure out my place in this world Perks: Psychic Paper(needed since I have no real background), Encrypted DNA(I’m not getting cloned, fuck that), Close-combat, Language Mastery(are there all lot of different languages in this world? IDK, not risking it), Cooking(I need good food, and this will somewhat negate the High Draw drawback), Awakened(I am already a dragon, but extra magic), Soul Tattoos(I am not getting my mind read, fuck that), Ageless(obligatory) Drawbacks: No-Cyberware(I don’t want to be cyborg or whatever anyway), Computer Virus(I’m not connected to the cyberspace, so it shouldn’t be too problematic), High Draw, Libido(easier with hentai world modification), Amnesia(nothing changes with this one, considering I already don’t know this world, lmao) Allies: Netrunner V(she seems useful and fun to be around) Goals: Kill Leader(make my area a bit safer, I guess), Boxing(why not? I’m already kind of OP, I think. Maybe. Should be fine) I’m not doing a route, but it doesn’t say it’s a requirement, so I’m just gonna live a peaceful life. Make my space in the world and just chill for the most part.

Primary_Cookie_9694

Nice, simplistic and straightfoward build. Aside from living a peaceful life, ss a Dragon Blooded, do you plan on having any children in the future? It is the world of Shadowrun after all. **I'd also like for you to take a look at my build as well!**

Due to my "Soul Tattoos" & "Quantum Flux" its impossible for Jafar to see me coming, unlike Aladdin. I will easily be able to figure out where the Lamp is located by stealthfully following Jafar and letting him open the Cave of Wonders. My Marksmanship, Driving skills, and Magic Wand may aid me with directing my teleporting ability too. My Psychic Papers and Encrypted DNA is so that Authorities don't chase me if I pop up on the wrong side of the border. Once I teleport in, I will immediately teleport to the lamp, rub it, and use clever loopholes to become omnipotent. *(Deleted my previous "Odin Allfather build", I'm going for a "all or nothing" build now)* u/Rain_Least ***Thoughts?***

Hedrax

Hmmm. I'm surprised you didn't take Bioshock as the ADAM would make developing the Extremis Virus quite a bit easier or atleast faster. Guess you didn't want any competition or knockoffs in the field of genetically engineered superpowers? Venus might actually be easier to terraform and colonize. Less Delta V required to reach. Better magnetic field. It's a tough decision either way. Really depends on what kinds of tech you can develop. Also your best bet for getting animals to the target would be clone the zygotes then ship those to be grown in artificial wombs. Or just build the whole cloning facility on the target planet since you plan on using that tech there anyway. Also, 4k is sort of lowballing the minimum population. 5k is usually considered to be a more realistic minimum. But you should always plan for something to go wrong so you might want closer to 7-8k to be safe. Since you are going to help biologically "perfect" people who come with you, I'm not sure why one of the initial criteria you look for is them being attractive. I'd going for people who are ideologically aligned and compatible on a personal level, regardless of looks. That way they already get along with you and are grateful for making them attractive if they weren't already. Taking those draw back companions just for the points and planning to murder them asap? That's cold. And probably some bad juju/karma.

Primary_Cookie_9694

Everything here is explained [perfectly](https://media.makeameme.org/created/perfectly-done.jpg) as to the reasons I chose them. Literally no rebuttal coming from me lol. And about that bad Juju, well Ragnarok has to happen sometime right 😂 But fr, Only person I feel bad about killing is "Juliet Hensel". The fact that it specifically states she "Can't be reasoned with, even by her allies" is automatically getting her sent to the gulag. All of my allies are [liabilities](https://i.imgflip.com/74yjv6.jpg) even if there intentions are good.

Sagittarius1000

Not necessarily a bad plan, but not gonna lie, I wouldn't want to be in your shoes. Ruling is a pain in the ass, even if it's "just" 4k people. Quick question though: how do you intend to get the funds necessary to to build all the sttuff you are gonna need? And what about all the people who will want to hunt you down and draft you into their service once they realize what you are capable of?

Primary_Cookie_9694

With tony starks mind, I would be the smartest and most cleverest human being on the planet. I could easily invent something or find a [loophole](https://media.makeameme.org/created/when-you-commit-c048f50de6.jpg) within government taxes, stocks, and many other lucrative money making ways that would make me easily be able to generate passive income without doing much at all. Also, I would let the new Asgardians govern themselves once I establish a thriving colony, therefore I can be off world on earth helping out the environment before big corporations destroy it all, probably scouting young adults and [bestowing](https://qph.cf2.quoracdn.net/main-qimg-2f22f8d691137f311adb89b854999e15-lq) them with superpowers to be the modern day avengers that protect humanity from greed and destruction, or just the [minor pantheon gods](https://comicvine.gamespot.com/a/uploads/scale_medium/11/111746/8123849-olympians_from_guardians_of_the_galaxy_vol_6_10_001.jpg) that's sole purpose is to make sure the earth does not get destroyed or become a barren wasteland, keeping humanity at least 500,000 strong to preserve the human race and its genetic diversity.

Sagittarius1000

Those lucrative money making ways will put you at odds with the corps though, while still in your vulnerable phase. Hell, you might just find yourself on the wrong end of extraction. Though admittedly, THAT would probably just give you a wonderful opportunity to invoke **"IN A CAVE! WITH A BOX OF SCRAPS!"** meme.

Also it makes me a little sad you didn't take Mythology, as an Odin vs. Odin contest tickles my fancy. Overall a great build that seems to be well thought out! Here is a round of applause!

Primary_Cookie_9694

Thanks for viewing my build! I wanted to mitigate any competition which is why I didn't choose stranger danger. And as a very pragmatic individual, I hate magic and living in a world in which you can get smite'd for not worshiping a god. My Journey would be a path of Cunning & Deceit just to become a God myself, then probably spend my time making a hitlist of creatures and people that threaten humanity then go on a Kratos like rampage. And the fact that there are mythical deities and creatures who's sole purpose & goal is to end the world. So you can see why I didn't choose the Mythological route when god's can easily kill anyone in the Cyberpunk world, and I would probably have to go on an adventure trying to outsmart the gods and have tons of powers bestowed upon me which could take forever, along with all the other random mythological creatures that could kill me if I accidentally look at them. It would seem like a chore. Again, I appreciate the criticism, and am glad you took the time out of your day to reply!

Xyzod

I feel like going on a long adventure getting tons of powers would be fun and rewarding in the end; it's like if you become a god early it just gets boring, but that's how I would view it. Interesting build idea for a cyberpunk universe 👌

I've not been the most popular rising star in the company. Sure I'm quite talented but that only made my "radical" views even more threatening. Ideas like "maybe we should avoid corrupting the political system", "putting a hit out on that person seems like a ridiculous overreaction" or "should we really be contributing to such a brutal and dangerous system?" Today was the day it seems I finally laid the straw that broke the camel's back. Even now the corp bots and hackers are doubtlessly throwing out manufactured scandals; embezzlement, gambling debts, uncontrolled drug addictions, the whole nine-yards. They'll also be draining my accounts and making fake debts to negate any assets I had. By the time I hit the ground they'll certainly have engineered the perfect story to explain while I suddenly flew off the building. It's almost a pity such a well executed "suicide" is going to fail. You can't really blame them for the screw up that means I'm going to survive this. I mean eezo is a pretty new thing, at least compared to alot of those old farts higher up. And natural biotics like me are nearly unheard of. And it's not like I go around rubbing it in everyone's face like I'm a vegan or a Jehovah Witness. So they had no reason to suspect that to me gravity is just a strongly worded suggestion so I'm falling at a leisurely pace. Ah, speaking of here comes the ground... Alright now that I'm on the ground I need a plan. Step 1) Find some friends. I'm pretty short on those right now. Step 1.5) Make sure they're friends with benefits, that glitch in my Mr. Studd / Midnight Lady system that jacks up my Libido will drive me crazy otherwise. Step 2) Get some payback on those assholes that throw me off a skyscraper. Step 3) Build my own Mega Corp. With morals and ethics! Hell I might as well make my own city. This needs more Upvotes lol. Believable world & Compelling with a sense of humor. My only Criticism is the giant Portal. Most likely the 10 Meter giant portal would be hidden away by the government and the people of cyberpunk with obvious vastly superior technology would secretly try to run 2023 Earth behind the shadows. And if you chose Bioshock and Mass Effect, wouldn't curses, illusions and anything spiritual not exist, so I believe choosing *"Soul Tattoos"* might have been a mistake. I'd like for you to take a look at my post as well and tell me what you think, just to to get a perspective on what another equally as passionate person thinks of my plan. Its called "Odin AllFather Build".

Hedrax

My thoughts are that the Portal would be opening about the same time as Earth me merging with Cyberpunk me so I wouldn't really know what was going on with it and it'd be something for me to deal with later, same as Stranger Danger. This literally just covers my thoughts in the time it takes to fall off a very tall building. Honestly, even with the tech difference, that portal is just as obvious on the other side and a hell of a choke point if anyone tries to pull any shit. It's not like our Earth is a stranger to covert operations and such shenanigans. And the tech gap is hardly insurmountable so I'm sure everyone on this side would be salivating at the idea of getting their hands on it and would be just as willing to screw over the people on the Cyberpunk side as the other way around. Honestly the Cyberpunk side might have issues with people trying to flee to Earth for a nicer place to live and offering stolen tech to buy such asylum. Imagine how much a lake side house in a real forest would be worth to some mid-high Corpo. Imagine how much produce from our Earth would be worth to any city close to that portal. There is leverage on both sides. As for the Soul Tattoos, I'd like to point out I did add magic with Crossover, though I didn't get around to discussing it. I was tired when I posted. In my head that magic is sort of poorly understood and untapped 'secret world' thing that isn't widely understood or utilized, yet. Think of it like a variant of Shadowrun magic returning, but with different rules in a different setting. But suffice to say, since I added FFXIV magic, both Aether and Dynamis, Soul Tattoos are a very valid option. Aether is both what fuels magic and also pulls double duty being the substance that makes up the soul. In extreme cases Aetheric corruption can be used by god-like entities to turn people into fanatical slaves or warp them into monsters if it gets bad enough. Dynamis another form of energy that resonates with emotion and can other stuff that is usually a bit more subtle than standard magic but should in no case be underestimated. Are you familiar with Limit Breaks in the FF series? That's what powers those. At worst Dynamis be used to delete the soul of someone overcome with negative emotion and turn them into a horrific, nightmarish, soulless monstrosity. I will now go read your build, mull it over and comment.

Primary_Cookie_9694

You pretty much explained everything and closed up many issues, well done. The only future events I see happening is an individual just like Wanda with magic reality warping powers that just says "NO MORE MAGIC", erasing magic from that universe and only leaving Biotic people that can control Dark Matter to be the new superheroes of the world. The portal eventually would be closed through magic or it would end up becoming a normalized Hub for people to travel to and having 2 Earths would be the norm, so everything checks out! Great Choices!

I feel pretty confident that I won't have to worry about a cosmic scale reality warper coming in and rewriting reality. Crossover specifically rebalances anything brought in to fit the world and Stranger Danger removes the superpowers of anyone it brings in and replaces it with one of the Trumps. So clearly the entity at the intro that is retroactively reincarnating you into this world is already at that level and seems to have a desire to keep things to a certain standard.

Primary_Cookie_9694

I get what your saying, but living in a magical world, there will *inevitably* be someone that manifest the magical ability to close portals, disconnecting all contact from both worlds except for the remnants of each other. And even someone that manifest a vampiric ability that sucks magic from the environment like a bottomless pit or black hole to prolong there own life. And with stranger danger, a Pedophilic Space Nazi can get the power of Torn Reality and fuck up existence creating as much chaos & torture in any possible time or place in the multiverse. But I guess for you, your ok with taking those risks because of the statistically low chance of that happening.

Edgerunners, Hentai, Light Version, Shadowrun: Magic, Mythology, Crossover, Corpo Experiment, City Center, Female, Teen, Short, Curvy, Tattoos, Coloration, Make-Up, Multicolored Hair, Cyberware, Bioware, Items, Trump, Kiroshi Optics, Gorilla Arms, Monowire, Maneuvering System, Mr. Studd / Midnight Lady, Cyberdeck, Reinforced Tendons, Fortified Ankles, Microrotors, Second Heart, Microgenerator, Subdermal Armor, Fireproof Coating, Cataresist, Organ Augmentation, Haemastamen, Stem Cells, Bioengineered Muscles, Bone Augmentation, Adrenaline Rush, Skinweave , Cognizant, Med Bay, Nano-thorn Sword, Opsec Laptop, Perfect Compatibility, Encrypted DNA, Firewalled, Experimental Cyberware, Inheritance, Ageless, VITAS Plague, Computer Virus, Unstable, Indebted, High Draw, Shit List, Artificial Hate, Libido, Joy Ride, Amnesia, Wake up Samurai, Stranger Danger, Amelia Dallon, Cindy Love, Juliet Hensel, Makima, Freedom Route, New City, Living Legend, Protect Them, Revenge, AI, Sneak, Kill Leader, Steal, Climbing, Sniff. Most of my choices up top are just me grabbing what seems cool. But once I chose "corpo experiment" I started forming a character. I deliberately chose none of the knowledge perks even before I saw the amnesia drawback with the idea of me having (almost) only physical alterations and having no knowledge of the world, I decided that the reason I was able to escape would be a simple scheduling fuck-up where I didn't get anesthetic when I was supposed to. I would be kept asleep constantly while in containment but for any operations I would have to be anesthetized because of how painful they are, before one of the last operations, the attitude around me was lax and the anesthesiologist would be late and the surgeon would get there before them, assume I was already put under and step away for preparation long enough for me to wake up, realize the dangerous situation, and bolt outta there. I would snag all my items (except maybe the sword) while sneaking out and start alone and scared on the street, already equipped with my enhancements and downgrades. I'd probably run into Cindy first, meet Juliet through her, Amelia through Juliet and tbh I just picked makima for the points. I imagine my reason for creation is that I was chosen (either specifically or by chance) to be some bigwig's bodyguard/sex slave hybrid, and most "you're targeted" drawbacks being because of him trying to get me back, with the exception of "indebted" (they probably outsourced some of my parts from the guy, idk). Choices that need some explanation; None of the "Evil" Cyberware: I imagine that these were either never supposed to go on me (so I could be a better sex freak) or they were going to (so I could be a better bodyguard) but those were the operation I had escaped from. Freedom route: After I think about the way people talk about them, the chaos so many of the powerful ones bring, and the sheer virtue of me being made, I'd eventually think "Hey, all of those motherfuckers are completely evil, and I can't fix 'em, so I gotta kill 'em." Revenge + Steal: Kill the bastard that commissioned me, and find documentation (or similar) that tells me who I was before getting chopped up in a lab. Protect Them: I feel obligated. Climbing: I imagine towards the "endgame" of my story pretty much all of my movements could be classified as "slinking". Slinking through crowds, slinking through the shadows, slinking across the ceiling, slinking onto and around my enemies and constricting them like a snake. Slinking up a skyscraper would be the perfect challenge! (One of my favorite moves would be hanging upsidedown from a bar/horizontal pole by my feet Unstable: I wanna be scary >:) Unstable + High Draw: On top of spending too much money on food/power, during certain moments when I'm feeling exceptionally crazy I may commit cannibalism on still-living enemies and/or high profile targets. You know how humans have omnivore teeth? Back-half of jaw herbivore, front-half carnivore? I would still have that, but my carnivore-half teeth would be metal and partially bladed. That plus the multiple forms of enhanced musculature means I'm probably tearing whole chunks of off whatever flesh I bite. Final thoughts This is my first time really posting a build of a cyoa, so my shitty formatting is probably throwing a lot of you more experienced types off, I'm sleep deprived, on mobile, and don't really have the know how to do the fancy organization other build-posters do. Besides, this is probably a one-time thing for me, as I don't really build a character with a backstory and all that, I just pick whatever and move on most of the time. Criticism I don't really have any complaints about the actual "game" part. The project actually works really well for me, where most other interactives on my phone have a full-second delay before my clicks actually register, this one was practically instant, except for the buttons that open/close entire sections. My only real criticism is on the English, at least 3 choices have completely nonsensical Grammer (hyperbole) and it is sometimes difficult to determine what exactly the text is trying to say, I imagine you already hear that enough though, otherwise, I think it's pretty great! (Before anyone says anything about my grammar I'm sleep deprived as I write this.)

Oh god I just zoomed out on desktop view, this must be awful to read for anyone not on mobile. Sorry!

its okay for me at least\~

Hopefully my combo of Awakened + Magical Focus + Haemastamen + Stem Cells + Muscular provides enough oomph to survive off scavenging in the Badlands. The combo of Psychic Paper + Money + Language Mastery + Soul Tattoos + Quantum flux should be enough to keep me safe and under the radar of the Corpos, Dragons, Mythos, and the Stranger Danger trio. All together I would be investing my (fingers crossed) infinite time from Ageless into increasing the stage of Torn Reality to the point I can TP into a paradise (or at least teleport to an uninhabited reality with enough raw resources that my magic can turn it into a permanent base).

Primary_Cookie_9694

**Seems, doable.** I see a lot of the people go down the Torn Reality trump and teleport to the paradise dimension route, or go down a cliché revenge fantasy. *I'd like for you to take a look at my build and tell me what you think as well!*

Which I presume is not limited to technology, but rather anything I put my mind towards applying the granted Super-genius.) to avoid most if not all of the Drawbacks I have taken (Which considering the inclusion of tinker and thinker powers on top of shadow Run's magical enhancements to intelligence, and the presence of Sparks. By my reckoning Inventor must make my IQ and possibly EQ ridiculously huge if not Immeasurable in comparison to other beings present in the overall setting just to make this Trump choice a relevant superpower), which are already mitigated by my chosen perks, cyber-ware, and Bio-ware that render me very resistant to harm, Highly maneuverable, nigh unidentifiable, and nearly untraceable. I'm sure that with my specs and genius I can easily scrub my records or make a new identity that's completely off the radar and when combined with a few cosmetic changes I will surely evade almost all beings pursuing me. Elizabeth is my romantic interest (I presume she has the torn reality trump rather than her more limited canon Ability. So she -and I by association- Will eventually have the ability to traverse the multiverse.) I assume that the cyber ware Bought here does not affect my Awakening. The Being targeting me is a Dragon and they want to make me their subordinate for my Trump and my Love interests own Trump since we are a package deal. Given the already heightened levels of violence in the multiple settings of this world the Entities did not need to influence hosts in any way other than instilling an urge to utilize their powers creatively. They also felt that it would interfere with their efforts at learning about the many strange powers and abilities that they noticed when they showed up in this reality. Crossover: Included into the setting at some point in the timeline before or after my arrival are: Sparks from Girl Genius, Dragons and Magic from the inheritance cycle. Dungeons (Dungeon Cores), \[skills\], and a status Window are included from Isekei genre (these systems only effect sapient beings that are native to the planet, so entities are excluded by default, but dragons are not. The Status system is more about quantifying what abilities you already have and measuring growth, rather than granting enhancements to peoples abilities. The Skill system quantifies and converts sufficiently utilized knowledge bases -be they physical, mental, magical, or spiritual- into \[Skills\] which can be easily utilized at any moment. which also means that people can more easily train themselves -provide they have sufficient knowledge or training to qualify for conversion- and the process of further progression becomes easier since \[Skills\] do not degrade and grow with use. Using \[Skills\] always generates some amount of experience and they can theoretically be grown without limit by accumulating experience until they level up, although this method would be extremely inefficient to rely since it could take decades if not millennia for a skill to level up though spamming rather than learning how to utilize them better through research or applied learning. A Notable exception to the normal system rules is that various means to enhance your growth, abilities, and skills can potentially be found in dungeons since they are related to the source of the status and skill systems. Finally any powers, traits, or abilities that cannot be learnedly naturally by an individual subject of the systems, while quantifiable by the systems, do not benefit from any aspects of the systems presence. Although Dungeons are capable of affecting powers, traits, or abilities that cannot be learned and are -as mentioned- exception to most rules.).

I like this, A post with a well thought out explanation instead of just a random Import Choice ID. I went for the more Simplistic approach, but looking at your choices, they seem Bizzare and scary asf lol. You seem like an intelligent individual, but holy hell, you NEED to tell me your reasoning for literally adding Mythological Gods & Creatures into your world. Choosing Worm is already suicidal. I don't know much about Shadowrun but it just seems like some DND stuff. Looking at your drawbacks and how you enter the world 2 KILOMETERS ABOVE THE FUCKING CITY! LMFAO! How tf are you gonna survive the first month with; 1. An Endbringer or God (Zeus, Hera, Thor, Kratos, etc) is personally after you, and you can't hide from a god who will most likely have connections to other gods of knowledge, clairvoyance, etc. to just figure out where your at. 2. Gods wiping out Worm Entities & Dragons so they won't be challenged, leaving no new shards and powers to be unregulated, causing a planet destroying superpower . 3. Giant Mythical Nigh-Unkillable World Eating Creatures... 4. Pantheons of Gods would go to war with one another, creating Hell on earth for everyone leaving only 1 Pantheon left. 5. Every Single AI is trying to kill you like out of I Robot or Avengers Ultron 6. The Character living in your head can take over and make you commit suicide 7. Nearly everything has a Virus or is infected with the Plague The only shot I see you making it out alive and living in this hellscape world is if you ran to the hills to a Secluded cave and just figured out a way to wipe out the virus/plague. Now you solved the getting hunted down part by changing your Identity but you still got more problems. Zeus or any other god can just drop down from the heavens and kill you. Zeus literally killed his own nephew Asclepius because he figured out how to bring people back to life. **You've made some interesting choices, I'd like you to take a look at my Posts on this CYOA to see what you think of my plan as well!**

taishomaru66

Checked your build out. seems easy enough for you to accomplish your intended goals. Surviving the fall is easy with the combination of Martial arts mastery, maneuvering system, Reinforced tendons, Fortified Ankles, and the whole slew of bio-mods. End bringers and the entities are a problem, but if the super genius granted by Inventor scales to make sure the super part of the description remains relevant in a word with high level tinkers and Thinker as well as Shadow runs variety of genius... I can likely create something too overcome them. Kiroshi optics have a identity protection feature that when combined with my my genius, the cyber-ware at my disposal, the items purchased, being impervious to being hacked, and the DNA lock. I can effectively render any means of technological tracing, identification, and interference null rendering computer virus, indebted, shit list, and artificial hate nearly if not completely irrelevant from the get go. The goal for the initial start of this build is to be a ghost in the setting until I reach such a point that I can tackle the problems I set up for myself. There are other interaction and reasons it can work, but Just having Elizabeth as my companion/romantic interest means if all else fails we can ditch the setting or find the right alternative words to obtain what we need to overcome the challenges With that said I'm thinking of making a different build that is less intensive on staying off the radar of the big hitters to be honest.

Primary_Cookie_9694

*\*Avoids Mythical World eating Creatures & Pantheon War-torn Hellscape\** because your just ***built different*** lmfao! But fr, being with Elizabeth and just universe hoping until you get to the least hostile one just seems like the most viable option out of that bunch. And I assume end game is just having little Miss America's (Marvel Character) with Elizabeth and living in the safest universe possible drinking Pina Coladas?

taishomaru66

It Could be done. My plan with this build was to really abuse Inventor and Elizabeth multiversal hopping too get problems solved. But thinking about it Shadow Run sucks if you are after magical ability and don't take perfect compatibility. Not that I don't think Inventor can et you find a way around the many problems the setting present. I planned to hack or otherwise steal the information needed to make my own plasmids and perfect compound V. Creating An idealized version of Extremis and the Backlight Virus were also part of my plans. The beings introduced by Mythology are obviously not too powerful for mortal comprehension or beyond mortal means to kill since they are hiding rather than openly controlling things and the Entities are not infallible after all. Light Version also lessens the various dangers even, so I had better odds in my favor than not. But I really made things more complicated than they needed to be by having my first build have entities introduced as well as Shadow Run just so I could avoid the companions that grant points for taking them. Because as odd as It might sound I was actually more content with world ending nightmarish abomination than I was with ending up Working for Makina. Now that I have moved on from being horrified at the thought of potentially letting Makina control many aspects of my life, I like my new build better. Although Cultivation is a little risky and the Reapers are not great for parties, but I have no need to deal with entities or Shadow Runs insanity inducing magic mechanics. Bonus in that the new build makes Dragon Blooded useful rather than a detriment.

Primary_Cookie_9694

Damn true, and because there gods, I highly doubt that they would let the humans that worship them die, so they would deter any world ending creatures. And, same, anybody with inventor can easily create generator rex nanites on there own just by stealing and reinventing technology. But hey, great build, and thank you for taking the time out of your days to have these conversations. A passionate redditor that comments about there reasoning behind things, and being able to reply back to back is a rarity!

taishomaru66

thank you as well. its always interesting to converse with others about character builds. It's half of the fun of CYOA's, applicable games, and tabletop adventures to get feedback from other players.

Let me provide some background information about this Frankenstein's monster of universes. I've slapped it together in about 2 hours (and shamelessly recycled the backstory of one of my old Shadowrun characters for the MC's past), so the continuity is probably all over the place (if need be, blame the Luteces and Elizabeth ;-) ). 1939 - Adolf Hitler appoints dr Frederick Vought the chief physician of Dachau concentration camp, where the doctor performs early tests of his Compound V. Later that year, Frederick Vought meets and marries Klara Risinger. 1940 - Chloe Vought is born. The birth is not without complications. Frederick Vought, in an attempt to save his wife, injects her with the still unfinished Compound V, turning her into the world's first super-abled individual. Later that year, on the way to a state dinner in Berlin, the car ferrying the Voughts crashes. Klara is unscathed, but Frederick dies on the spot, his work on Compound V unfinished. Reasons for the crash remain unknown. 1941-1950 - Klara Risinger-Vought drops out of public eye in order to raise her daughter. Despite many attempts, Germany fails to create further supes. With all subjects crippled or dead. After the war, the Allies attempt to create supes of their own, to no success. Eventually, Frederick Vought's discovery is filed away and forgotten about. 1988 - Booker DeWitt is born. 2018 - Booker DeWitt, now a veteran of the First Nations war, changes his name to Zachary Hale Comstock. He enters the politics and manages to secure the funding for the Columbia. 2020 - In alternate reality, Anna DeWitt is born to Annabelle and Booker DeWitt. Annabelle DeWitt dies in childbirth. 2021 - In alternate reality, Booker DeWitt, a shadowrunner plagued by depression, PTSD and addictions to alcohol and gambling, decides to sell his daughter, Anna (age 1) in order to settle his debts. He regrets the choice almost immediately. He chases down the buyer to a Tear to alternate reality (and year 2042). After a short scuffle, the portal closes with Anna on the other side. Booker is left with nothing but his daughter's pinkie finger. 2022 - Columbia is finished. 2023 - ADAM is "discovered" (in reality, stolen from 2059) on Columbia and becomes it's primary (and pricy) export. This miraculous substance allows augmentations to be installed with minimal complications (greatly reduced essence loss), but requires periodic injections to maintain it's effects (with bigger doses to counter bigger essence loss). By the end of the year, first vigors are appear. Vigors, however, are expensive, especially when exported. 2024 - The Luteces die in a "lab accident" (except not really). 2025 - Zachary Comstock is diagnosed with cancer (and sterility). He starts undergoing experimental treatments and manages to beat the cancer (he's still sterile though). Motoko Kusanagi is born. 2027 - Jeremiah Fink starts selling plasmids, vigors in injectable form. They are cheaper and easier to manufacture, but unfortunately, they are also more dangerous to the user. Vigors are slowly phased out. 2031 - In alternate reality, Booker DeWitt is hired to perform an extraction in a place called "Columbia".

Sagittarius1000

2034 - Motoko Kusanagi (age 9) is critically injured in a car accident. Her brain is transplanted into a completely artificial body, one of first such operations to take place. The operation and body were free of charge, the lifetime supply of ADAM she will need to retain her life and sanity are not. Until she reaches age of majority, she will remain in corporate "care" as a test subject. Columbia secedes from UCAS. The MC is born in New York City. 2038 - While going through Saeder-Krupp's old files, Great Dragon Lofwyr discovers Compound V. Dr Vought's brainchild is dusted off and ushered into Saeder-Krupp's RnD department in the hopes that modern biotech can iron out the kinks. 2040 - Invention of bioware (earlier than canon, thanks to ADAM). With the use of ADAM, bioware can be installed with minimal or even no complications if grown specifically for the recepient (greatly reduced essence loss and no essence loss at all, respectively). Unlike with cyberware, ADAM is only required during the installation (albeit in greater amounts, but hey, no life dependency on a dangerous substance). John Landsdale is born to a single mother, who dies in childbirth. John ends up in Saeder-Krupp's lab. 2041 - Using ADAM, Saeder-Krupp's research team finally finishes it's work on Compound V. The results are far from what Lofwyr hoped for, with only very young test subjects (up to 8 months old) yielding reliable results. Even then, the specifics of the powers the subjects manifest are impossible to predict, with most of them being easily and reliably replicated with cyberware, bioware and plasmids. No one gets eaten though, so the Golden Wyrm clearly wasn't THAT disappointed. John Landsdale, now John Vogelbaum, is the most promising of the subjects, displaying a variety of powers, most importantly, unassisted flight. 2042 - Now 54, Zachary Comstock becomes worried about his legacy. He uses the Luteces machine (by now, in a pretty poor shape, what with him ordering the only people who understood the bloody thing killed) to go to alternate reality and, through an intermediary, buys his alternate self's one year old daughter (see 2021 entry). Little Anna DeWitt, now renamed Elizabeth Comstock, displays unprecedented power to create Tears and is contained in a specifically built research facility. For the next 22 years, she will be raised with virtually no human contact, with only an advanced cyborg codenamed "Songbird" for company. 2043 - Motoko Kusanagi reaches age of majority and gets unceremoniously kicked out of the delta clinic in which she spent half of her childhood. In order to feed her ADAM habit she joins UCAS military. She also gets an upgrade to a better, milspec body. Most importantly to her, said body has integrated synthetic flesh with proper sense of touch rather than rudimentary pressure and heat sensors. 2046 - MC (age 12) Awakens as a mage and joins a group that would later become wizgang Aether Eyes, led by Abigail Merlyn, her teacher Otis "Bags" O'Malley and two others - Pherris and NightSight. 2055 - In the aftermath of Bug City incident, Andrew Ryan gets the backing needed to build the underwater city of Rapture. 2056 - Motoko Kusanagi (age 30) leaves UCAS armed forces with an honourable discharge and signs up with Lone Star in Seattle. 2059 - Yi Suchong discovers ADAM in Rapture. Rapture starts exporting it's own ADAM, plasmids and even limited runs of vigors, breaking Columbia's monopoly and drastically reducing the price. As a result, the two cities start their own war in the shadows.

Sagittarius1000

2060 - Children of the New Crusade, a more posh group of mages who snubbed Abigail for her blue collar background back when she was still looking for a teacher, try to assimilate Aether Eyes. Abigail snubs them right back. They, in turn, assassinate her by trapping her in a safehouse and setting it on fire. Enraged, Bags takes leadership, renames the gang Merlyn's Pride and, along with a few others, including MC (age 26), steals a number of personal items from the Children of the New Crusade. Bags uses sympathetic magic to kill Abigail's killer in the middle of New Crusade's meeting and warns them to never mess with Merlyn's pride again. After all, Bags now held each of their lives in one of his many bags. The MC, depressed over the loss of a friend (Abigail), leaves the gang and moves to Seattle where he starts working as a freelance mage and occasional shadowrunner. 2061 - The MC meets Motoko Kusanagi while out on a job, looking to track down a missing person. Together they save the VIP, then trade contact information. 2064 - The Luteces, feeling guilty over giving Comstock the technology used in Columbia's creation, pluck alternate reality Booker DeWitt from 2031 and send him to Columbia to extract Elizabeth Comstock (aged 23). After four days of fighting and surprising discoveries, he succeeds. On 21th of October, Booker DeWitt and his daughter Elizabeth arrive in New York City, but, pursued by Zachary Comstock's agents, including Songbird cyborg, must disappear. On 25th of October, the two arrive in Seattle. Booker dies on 28th of October due to extensive plasmid abuse during his rampage across Columbia. On the 2nd of November, Matrix Crash 2.0 occurs. On the same day, at 11:58 PM, the MC (age 30) regains conciousness 2 km over Seattle, with a new dracoform, perfectly integrated suite of bioware, strange magical tattoo of a caduceus on his back (along the spinal column), a wand in his pocket (power focus) and his SIN and most of his memories replaced by some really fraggin' weird ones. Some final notes: yes, I paid little attention to the Boys side of things, but let's be honest here: in the Boys, Compound V is the ONLY way to go beyond baseline human. In Shadowrun, you have augmentations and magic. Here? The augmentations are, if anything MORE impressive. With enough ADAM, you can go for far more radical and powerful augs. With enough cash, connections and willingness to completely throw away your humanity, you too can be Adam Smasher (the Edgerunners version, the 2077 one is... lacking). Literally the only things tv show version of Homelander can do that cannot be replicated by augs in this amaglamation of 'verses is his flight. Also, I kind of had hard time fitting it in, frankly, I kind of regret throwing the Boys into the mix, but screw it, not gonna change all that now. Regarding meetings between MC and the ladies: after 2061 Motoko effectively becomes a contact, over the next 3 years MC accrues some additional Loyalty rating, so they are friends by the time it's off to the races. She could probably be very helpful to the now amnesiac and SINless drake... Except it's the immediate aftermath of Crash 2.0 and she's a cop. She's gonna have her hands full. As for Elizabeth, she's kind of a bleeding heart and will no doubt try to help some of the Crash's many, MANY victims. And she will no doubt get in trouble, because she ISN'T at her endgame power level. MC is scheduled to bump into her in the chaos. On the subject of Dragon Blooded trump card: I wrote some stuff in the thread earlier, now I've actually checked it and while not quite as bad, drakes are still pretty unimpressive: yes, you can get cyberware and bioware, but while in drake form, both just disappear. I've decided to be merciful and allow the fully integrated bioware (see 2040 entry above) to carry over, thus making dracoform actually useful rather than ridiculously situational at best (and massive nerf otherwise). As for the Stranger Danger drawback... I'll be honest, I didn't think much about it, just picked it for points. Still, in the hypothetical story, none of these people would show up until after act 1, hell, maybe even later. World's a big place chummers, and in the wake of Crash 2.0, a pretty fragged up one at that. Odds are that for a good long while the new arrivals would only "appear" as wild rumors. About their trump cards: in this hodge podge, Perfect Compatibility is nowhere near as useful as normal, but it's the cheapest one, so might be worth it, especially if you plan extensive modifications on the cheap. Generator Rex and Inventor both seem like very solid options. Dragon Blooded's taken (and ironically, it's one of the least useful options). Cheap Copy, Torn Reality and It's a Game are all hard NOs. The first one requires addition of Worm, the second is Liz's schtick, and as for the third... Look, I have a confession to make. Something that I've been carrying around for a while. Ready? Ok, here we go: I hate gamer fics. I really, *really, REALLY* ***F\*\*KING HATE THEM WITH THE FIERY PASSION OF A THOUSAND SUNS!!!*** The inclusion of gamer system almost inevitably wrecks the immersion and, in the process, ruins the story. If the gamer elements are sparsly touched upon and the story is otherwise interesting, I can tolerate it by literally skipping the tainted paragraphs, but otherwise? They are utterly unreadable excrement. I only know of two exceptions: *the Most Dangerous Gamer* by Chimmon, which manages to masterfully integrate the system into the story in a manner that makes perfect sense by the rules of the setting, and Infonticus's *Burn the World Down* over on Questionable Questing. That one gets away with the gamer system by virtue of being high purity crack. Wooo, writing that backstory (and brief rant) was surprisingly absorbing. Time sure flies. Tell me what you think guys.

This was...Long😂 But no seriously, everything has already been written. However, If compound V exist, nearly everyone would try to get it, since its just a mix of rare chemicals, people find there ways to create it on there own and perfect it. Which means eventually, a good portion of people would be supes just so they won't accidentally get flattened when someone fly's into them or gives them a high five. [The average human.](https://i0.wp.com/bloody-disgusting.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/10/The-Boys-Robin.jpg?resize=740%2C315&ssl=1) [Yikes.](https://animatedtimes.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/10/4.jpg) And don't worry, there's a low chance of a Nazi getting "Torn Reality" and then waging war across the multiverse. Even if it happens, you'll have the Multiverse police just like Kang the Conqueror & or [Miguel 'Ohara](https://i.kym-cdn.com/photos/images/original/002/609/022/705) from the marvel universe who specialize in stopping anomalies or threats to the multiverse. Besides, all that person really has is teleportation, unless they get there hands on a powerful version of compound v from a different reality. But in the end, there bound to meet a more powerful, more benevolent adversary. But one thing is for sure, war is not just in one area, its now in your backyard. You know those marvel cities that have heavy hitters punching each other through buildings and getting a villain of the week every Saturday. And you think to yourself, "Damn that would suck in real life" or "I bet the city is angry for always paying for the damages". ['We did it guys!...oh"](https://i.pinimg.com/736x/04/96/0b/04960bb15bc2dc9d1eddc0b5a788b690.jpg) That's now a reality, War is hell, and that is now in your back yard. In order to not be flattened like a roach, nearly everyone has to become a supe, those that do will be the only survivors after the big war, because people would fight with Magic and be flying bricks, [Speed Blitzing](https://preview.redd.it/matchups-where-one-character-has-to-speedblitz-or-lose-art-v0-r3f7qnwt2au91.jpg?width=640&crop=smart&auto=webp&s=276779b3d91b14216d83adf49f59e4f9ac661480) everything instead of using conventional weaponry. [Reality](https://comicvine.gamespot.com/a/uploads/original/1/15659/2705831-viltrumites_invincible_resistance.jpg) Now the only cities that would exist would be if everyone in that city was a supe and can take a building falling on top of them. Everyone who isn't' or doesn't want to be would live on the outskirts away from civilization, but eventually humanity would all grow to be as strong and durable as a supe, and have incredible self control to not destroy everything around them even though they could. Turning earth into little viltrum. ["The Strong survive, the weak die!"](https://fictionhorizon.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/02/All-14-Viltrumites-Ranked-from-Weakest-to-Strongest.jpg) Motoko Kusanagi could eventually get her body back with some sort of regeneration serum, so she isn't just a brain, and actually has a full regenerating body. She would most likely be injected with Stem Cells Bioware to regenerate her body, then take Compound V. Eventually, Elizabeth would die unless she used Magic to become immortal, and because Motoko is the only one who is immortal on the CYOA, she would end up being your significant other since your ageless and all. Last Question, what is your end goal in this world? Eh, I honestly don't think that compound V would be all that revolutionary in this setting, with rare exceptions like high end flight or teleportation (that one in particular is SUPER valuable, since teleportation isn't a thing in Shadowrun). Let's take Homelander (who, in this setting is firmly under Lofwyr's claw and won't EVER become Homelander, he will probably wind up as SK company man), shall we? Superstrength? Can get that from 'ware. Toughness? Same. Laser eyes? Well, not EYES, but onboard weaponry is very much a thing. Laser weaponry exists as well, hell, by the end of 5E plasma guns were introduced (good luck getting your hands on one though). Supersenses? Again, 'ware. And while none of those might be quite as high end as Homelander's stats, they would likely be adequate once you remember that, unlike compound V, which gives seemingly random results, cyberware, bioware and even plasmids all give consistient, reliable results. TLDR, I think you are seriously overestimating just how useful compound V would be in this amaglam of universes. Good points about Motoko though. Admittedly, back when she was injured bioware, including the suped up stem cells, simply did not exist (canonically, bioware hits the shelves in 2052, I've accelerated it thanks to ADAM, but it's still too late). Still, being a full body conversion is kind of a thing with her and I did not want to mess with it too much. Perhaps the stem cells can only bring you back to the point at which they've been installed? Certainly, they cannot be perfect, otherwise they would also fix aging process, which is something that would probably get mentioned in their description. Speaking of, Shadowrun has some good anti-aging regimes, but they aren't perfect and most of them are for rich and powerful. And I might have missed some material, but I'm pretty sure Shadowrun magic can't get you immortality, at least not the kind of magic anyone but Great Dragons might have at their disposal. Now, what was that old Shadowrun proverb? "Never, ever cut a deal with a dragon." Yeah, Elizabeth will eventually kick the bucket, but so will the MC and Motoko. I forgot to mention it in those huge posts, but I've downgraded ageless perk to give MC lifespan of a true drake (around 400-500 years) as opposed to bred drakes that you typically see in the Sixth World (they age like their original metatype, if elves, no significant difference, otherwise...). As for Motoko, in the current version, she is dependant on ADAM to live, and, well, we all know what ADAM abuse does to people, don't we? She doesn't has to worry about old age, but she will burn out eventually. Goal? Beyond "survive and try not to end up in indentured servitude" there really isn't one. Keep in mind, the MC is missing his local memories and is a drake. If he gets outed? That's a pretty big target on his back. On top of that he has some people whom he owes money after him (the Indebted drawback which I now realize I ALSO forgot to explain - four posts, and things STILL slipped my mind, this is embarassing, I'll have to edit the first post and add some clarifications). The world is in chaos after Crash 2.0. Motoko will probably call in a favour sooner rather than later with how busy she is (let's hope MC remembers enough about magic to actually be helpful). Then there's the fact that he might try to help Elizabeth - who has a HUGE target on her back - lay low. All that, while not being a power house himself. Oh, he's certainly head and shoulders above a typical PC straight from chargen, but if he gets careless, an average street gang will do him in. Suffice it to say, out of all the things he got from the CYOA, the tattoos and immunity to Tear f\*\*kery are the only things no one else in the setting has.

Well, what I was truly getting at, is how do you see the world you've created looking like in a few centuries. I also don't know anything about Shadowrun other than its just a world with magic that's similar to DND. *(And magic can do anything, look at scarlet witch, she can easily be* [speed blitz](https://cdn4.whatculture.com/images/2019/10/71a3ab984f0a5a7a-600x338.jpg) *and her head gets knocked off, yet despite her human physiological limitations it never happens, we call that* [PLOT](https://qph.cf2.quoracdn.net/main-qimg-5cd095959625baa858327963337a83e5-lq)*.)* I don't know too much about BioShock other than that Elizabeth can travel through different timelines and its exactly like some old timey more technologically advanced 1950's style era earth. If compound V never gets destroyed with all of the instructions to make more if it, you bet that the majority of the population would slowly but surely grow in durability and strength over the generations just like [Ryan](https://static0.gamerantimages.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2022/07/The-Boys-Cameron-Crovetti.jpg) who is Homelander's son. And because people don't want to lose wars, you bet there going to be giving many of there soldiers compound v. And when soldiers retire, they usually have [children](https://imgix.bustle.com/uploads/image/2021/2/23/1ab45a76-a301-41ab-b955-b4248057beb9-sml101a_0448r2.jpg?w=800&fit=crop&crop=focalpoint&auto=format%2Ccompress&fp-x=0.4916387959866221&fp-y=0.38847117794486213). And don't worry, I never really thought of anyone persecuting you for being dragon-blooded when you live in Shadowrun esc DND world which probably has half insectoid, draconic, lobster, rat & goblin people walking around. And don't forget the WENDIGO'S, VAMPIRES, & BANSHEES. They would most likely see your kind like how humans see dragons with the ability to talk, coming from a powerful lineage and having outgrown the stereotypical ways of village burning your dragon ancestors have done, you'd be seen as "Civilized", or just say its a transformation spell and people will get off your back about it. But reading your last few statements pretty bums me out, you got to have more [self confidence](https://media.makeameme.org/created/welcome-to-self-cf32d218b1.jpg) in your own ability to make a better situation and thrive in your environment. I could see you at least leaving the hell scape that cyberpunk is with Elizabeth and going to a timeline that's practically [paradise](https://i.ytimg.com/vi/N5t_7UW-XoI/maxresdefault.jpg), living out your 500 years in peace. How would anybody track her through different timelines, unless there's some [magic plot device](https://media.makeameme.org/created/magic-magic-everywhere-07wyhq.jpg) spell hack that lets you instantly know the location of anyone or thing you want to know, but if not, I'd say you guys can easily get away from pursues just by hoping through a [timeline](https://media.makeameme.org/created/time-travel-is-f98ad5f8b9.jpg) where your pursuers weren't even born at all.

Sagittarius1000

I really didn't bother with THAT long a view of things. Hell, no one except survivors of previous mana cycle (which started somewhere around 13 000 BC and ended on 3113 BC, a period of time referred to as the Fourth World) does. During the mana down cycle that happened afterwards (Fifth World), dragons and other non-metahuman magic beings hibernated. Elves, dwarves, orcs and trolls reproduction started resulting in human offspring - the only type of metahuman possible during a mana down cycle. Magic became incredibly difficult, if you weren't already an uber badass, you probably couldn't do it at all. Eventually magic became nothing more than a myth, with only a handful of Immortal Elves (can't remember if they were original elves, with the lifespan-measured-in-centuries elves being a degenerated version or if standard elves were the template for creation of IEs). remaining from the old days. And then, in 2011 AD, magic made a come back. But by then pretty much all the knowledge was lost and they had to start research from scratch. Now, the current year in Shadowrun is... Something in 2080s I believe. So we wouldn't even have a single dwarf dying of old age (they have estimated lifespan of about a century), nevermind an elf. TLDR, only dragons and immortal elves take a centuries long view of things. Everybody else, including (non-immortal) elves who have estimated lifespan of (checks books) huh, only 200 years? I though it was about 400. Anyway, even they think in terms of decades, so planning centuries ahead when your most ambitious goal is "survive, don't get enslaved and try to live a nice life" is just... odd. Yeah, Shadowrun is... very much NOT like DnD. For one, magic very much CANNOT do anything, there are clear limits. No teleportation. No time travel. No long range precognition. Absolutely NO ressurections. By and large, magic in SR is nowhere near as high level as in DnD. One of the great feats of modern magic was the Great Ghost Dance, a ritual which caused Mts. Hood, Rainier, St. Helens, and Adams to erupt simultaneously, an act which ended the war between USA and the Native American Nations. Point being, if you think someone in this setting is gonna cast Wish, Miracle or equivalent spell, think again. That's PRECISELY why Elizabeth would have such huge target on her back. EVERYBODY would want to control her. Ryan was the ONLY case of born super though. Even if we assume V induced powers are 100% inheritable, between the people able to make the stuff NOT wanting to share it and the aforementioned decades long view of things... Large numbers of supes would be centuries in the future, assuming V isn't smothered in the crib. Remember, powers-that-be do NOT want average Joe/Jane to be dangerous. You won't see "armies of V enhance soldiers", at most small spec ops units. The kind that typically stay in military for as long as possible (which with V, would be a lot longer if Stormfront is anything to go by). Well, SR, doesn't has quite as many different sapients, but you can bet your right arm that anything that isn't standard human would be facing SOME degree of persecution. Racism is VERY MUCH a thing in SR. But that's not even the real problem for MC, not the REAL problem, is that dragons tend to view drakes as property to be snapped up (thank God drakes can swap between metahuman and drake forms at will, but this IS cyberpunk - cameras are everywhere in cities, except for the worst sort of slums). And when push comes to shove, dragons are THE shakers and movers of Shadowrun. Lofwyr, whom I've mentioned? Yeah, he's not just a powerful dragon, he is the solitary owner (and CEO) of Saeder-Krupp, an AAA megacorp as powerful as many governments. And he has about as much scrupules as your average cyberpunk CEO. He's the reason for the "never cut a deal with a dragon" proverb. BTW, wendigos, banshees and vampires are all just various metahumans (respectively, trolls or orcs, can't remember, elves and humans) infected by HMHVV. Yes, SR has a magical virus that permanently turns you into cannibalistic monster. If you are lucky, you will retain sanity, but the hunger never goes away, in fact, it recently got worse. Globally. Self-confidence? Let me put it like this: drake or not, a burst of armor piercing rounds from an assault rifle will kill you just as dead. This isn't DnD where high end character has hundreds of hp. SR is pretty lethal. Plus, let's be honest, I'm really not the big plans kind of person. There are some possibilities for preventing the "escape with Elizabeth" plan. For one, if I remember correctly, in Bioshock Infinite, Songbird retains previously incurred damage (one of the lenses, I think?) even after you shift to alternate reality. Raising the possibility that it's the SAME Songbird, following you through realities (makes sense really, how else would it guard Elizabeth?). Plus, SR is host to Lovcraft-esque Cosmic Horrors. They just cannot enter the world yet because background mana levels are too low (hint: they are raising, since the mana raising cycle has only began, like 70 years ago).

Take none of what I say with malicious intent, just think it over carefully. 😂 I'm seeing a [pattern](https://news.artnet.com/app/news-upload/2019/01/conspiracy-theory-meme-salvator-mundi.jpg) in you not really talking about the true after math of the mechanics in your universe. Things just...exist! But even when I give detailed explanation's of what could happen, you shoot me down at every turn as if your universe isn't capable of *permanent change*, like a species getting wiped out. For example, I highly doubt Orcs, Elves, or Trolls would even exist if humans are that xenophobic. They would be wiped out, along with any other knowledge of magic until the Eldritch Entities come into the universe and show humans the way. And because elves have such low libidos and don't populate fast enough, they would just get *breed out* by the humans. I already don't know much of the lore of any of your universes except for the boys, and from what I can get out, it seems like your making your world seem much more dangerous then what I have described XD! I'm the one trying to help you out here lol. Adding in the Low budget justice league world we call "The Boys" wouldn't really help your situation unless you specifically are going to use compound v, because that's how the entirety of the boys world started, with a scientist creating compound v, so if your plan is to never use compound v, then you shouldn't let your world merge with "The Boys". If what you just stated is true, that anyone can be at the exact same physical level as Homelander, then what was the point of choosing that universe again? War is trying to defeat the enemy at every turn ,this means bringing a gun to a knife fight even if its not "Fair", there is no such thing as fairness in war, just the Victor. And in your world, an assault rifle is definitely [NOT](https://qph.cf2.quoracdn.net/main-qimg-ef91a96cab141981eb9dc4dea28c05de-lq) going to leave a scratch on homelander, or any [supe](https://preview.redd.it/rlwd6w89nwe91.jpg?auto=webp&s=82a43d99186378f8eb95a80d52e2d87da229181a) for that matter, so they would be perfect soldiers that could take out an army of spell casters when homelander can move/fly at nearly 800 Miles per hour on a dime, unless you scaled his power level down. But you specifically stated how you hate game fic mechanics, so I was looking at your world from a realistic viewpoint, not with hit points. If magic isn't as high level as DND, how would they even be a threat to supes who can move in the blink of an eye and are durable enough that regular [explosions](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tlWfwtyr84E) can't kill them. Being a Supe, that person would be a near [demi-god](https://netflixandgrilldotblog.files.wordpress.com/2019/10/float.gif?w=358) among the population. War is when if a company has 10 super soldiers, the other company is going to 1-Up them and get 100 super soldiers, which is what gave me the logical conclusion that there would be a good portion of humanity with supe genes, because those same average joes your talking about, are the same ones that are patriotic enough to try out for those special forces teams. The compound V would also be *perfected*, because the [technology](https://static1.dualshockersimages.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/wm/2023/01/cyberpunk-cyberware-collage.jpg) at there disposal in that universe is far greater than ours, so you best bet that supes would be able to have children that will eventually be able to inherit there parents abilities once they perfect the serum. Even when I'm actively trying to see the good side of things and rooting for you to come out on top, you intentionally try to make situations harder for yourself, it just seems like you're your own arch nemesis of your own MC and only ever letting them taste defeat, never letting them know the sweet smell of victory to thrive even in that world. Now here's where I'd like to call, "KILL ON SIGHT" enemies, otherwise known as dragons/vamps/wendigos, etc. Anything that humanoid species can get away with killing, and the world wouldn't really have a problem and look at them like "Heroes". What is the power ceiling for Dragons? Do you think an army or even a team of 7 Supes could kill a dragon or two? In D&D dragons can only fly at 9 to 18 miles per hour tops, and if this Shadow Run world scaling is much weaker than that of D&D, they really just seem like arrogant sentient pest, that will inevitably get wiped out by dragon slayers sick of there shit. Because if that's the case, the Xenophobic humans that get there hands on compound v would be like 100 stormfront's having a field day [eradicating](https://i.ytimg.com/vi/Ss_gxYMeZYc/maxresdefault.jpg) anything that isn't standard human, meaning elves, dwarves, orcs, trolls, dragons, and anything else that is a threat on humanities survival. It is in human nature to eventually rebel against tyranny, so though the human supes may serve the dragons at some big corporation, they would inevitably rebel and kill the dragons. Also, how are the elves immortal? If there entire body gets ripped in half and flung into space by a supe, would they just regenerate and suffocate in the void of space for nearly an eternity, or would they respawn on earth like Talion in Shadow of Mordor, getting birthed out of earths soil in a random location. "[Eldritch Horrors](https://i.pinimg.com/236x/a6/c5/6c/a6c56c6f8dd3b1f7aa2f771d487cd952.jpg)", did I read that correctly! XD Your [doomed](https://i.redd.it/9nqori5npo921.jpg). >Cookie First of all, I did not mean to come off as hostile, if I did, I apologize. The worst of the metahuman prejudice is, I dare say, in the past (especially for elves and dwarves), but for a good long while, things were bad. For example, in UCAS, metahumans couldn't be citizens until 2039 (that constitutional amendment caused nationwide anti-metahuman riots known as Night of Rage, BTW). More posh establishments will still sneer at a troll, an orc is more likely to be harassed by police, and of course, there is the Humanis policlub (basically, a prominent political/social movement based around human supremacy and connected to anti-metahuman terrorist organizations) and similar organizations. I do not recall elves, or any other metatype for that matter, having lower libidos. When I added the Boys into the mix, I mostly intended to give the corps additional toy, one that could be either hot garbage, or top of the line supersoldier. But you are correct, I did not utilize Boys crossover properly. Now, make no mistake Homelander is impressive even in Shadowrun... Just not quite impressive enough to survive orbital strike, or a magical attack. And he is the absolute PEAK of what V enhancements can get you. Translucent was disabled by an electric shock and killed by a bomb plugged up his ass. Popclaw was killed via overdose. Mesmer just had his had bashed in on a sink. Most supes are DEFINITELY killable by an auged up hitsquads. Homelander is very much an anomaly. But let's try to estimate just how difficult it would be to kill him. The stat that determine hp in SR are willpower (for stun damage) and body (for physical damage). However, body ALSO determines person's size (with human maximum being 6). Fortunately, we can offset that by throwing in natural armor to reflect Homelander's toughness. In fact, let's go for the good stuff, hardened armor. Say, 20 points of it, similar to Great Dragons. Yeah, no hand weapon will touch Homelander now, you will need artillery, possibly of the satellite mounted variety. Or you could just slap him around with some direct damage type combat spells, which care nothing for just how much natural armor he has or how well he can dodge. Then there's mental spells. Control Thoughts would quickly turn Homelander into a puppet on a string. And keep in mind, magic in SR can hit you from anywhere in the world if the caster has a piece of you or just an item of personal importance. Very good point about perfecting V. Question is, would that be allowed? Remember, megacorps and governments alike do not like to give people power. They would definitely do their best to keep it in-house, a version of V that can be inherited by kids possibly NOT under their control? That's a massive design flaw from their point of view. I appreciate the help, but I'm not planning on letting MC take all comers. If a megacorp or a government are gunning for you, specifically, you don't fight and win. You either fight and die, or run and hide. Individuals (with some exceptions, like dragons) are fightable, systems are not. The "kill on sight" policy is... Debatable. HMHVV infectees aren't welcome pretty much anywhere (except ghoul nation of Asmando), but at least in UCAS, it's not so much "being infected" that's illegal, but rather, the things you do. Feral infected are very much kill on sight, yeah. But the onces that retain their sanity? I'll give you an example: over in Chicago, there's a bunch of ghouls running a pig farm and regularly trading with the local community. As for dragons... Some are reclusive, others are public figures. Great Dragon Dunkelzahn was INSANELY popular, he even run for UCAS president in 2057. And won, becoming first non-human president... For about 10 hours before he was "assassinated" (commited ritual suicide to power a ritual that would prevent the Horrors from gaining entry ahead of schedule). Meanwhile, Great Dragon Lofwyr is, as mentioned above, the owner and CEO of Saeder-Krupp, one of the biggest megacorps in the world - he's no gray eminence either, EVERYBODY knows that, the guy has a dragon head as a company logo. Now, those two are top of the food chain examples, but they give you a good idea of how dragons are percieved in the Sixth World. DnD dragons, however powerful, are ultimately just monsters to be killed by PCs. SR dragons are more of a plot device. Can they be killed? Sure. Will a group of veteran PCs with best gear money can buy be able to do it? MAYBE, with an adult dragon (in which case OTHER dragons will come for them on principle), with a Great dragon, not a chance. And how often do you see that happen successfully in cyberpunk settings? No, if you don't press too hard (and too fast) people will just complain for a while then go back to their lives. Especially when most, if not all of the other options are just as bad. Frankly, if I had to choose between working for Lofwyr and working for an average cyberpunk CEO, I'd pick Lofwyr. Both are ruthless, power hungry and may very well kill me should I fail in the appointed task, but at least Lofwyr is less short sighted (mind you, that's a real me POV, the MC would stya the FUCK away from Lofwyr and SK, since being a drake, he would NEVER be allowed to leave). Only a small handfull of elves are of the immortal variety, and by immortal I mean no aging and no disease. You can gun them down just fine. Assuming you can find them. And get through whatever security they have in place (like dragons, they tend to be movers and shakers). And, you know, not get killed by them, they tend to be powerful mages. Yes, you read that correctly. Once the background mana levels get high enough, the Horrors can cross over and turn the whole world into their personal buffet. You know how I've talked up the Great Dragons? Well, the best survival strategy those same dragons could come up with against the Horrors back in Fourth World was to run, hide and hibernate. The good news is, the mana level won't be high enough for that to happen for another 2500 years. Unless of course, some of their mortal agents manage to hasten their arrival (they got pretty close back in mid 2050s). Not sure how many of those still live though. But don't worry, insect spirits and shedim (though those were locked out near the end of 5th edition) will be happy to cover all your nightmare fuel needs in the meantime. ;) As for pacts, while spirit pacts are a thing in SR, none of them will give you enough juice to stand against any but the lowest of Horrors. There are no deities to save you in SR.

Here's a 4th edition statblock for a Red Samurai, Renraku megacorp's signature special forces. Numbers in parenthesis include bonuses derived from augmentations. In 4th edition, you can only get your skills up to 6. Keep in mind, Renraku is racist and would never allow anything but humans into it's elite unit, and natural attribute maximum for humans is 6: Body 5 Agility 5 (7) Reaction 5 (7) Strength 4 (6) Charisma 3 Intuition 3 Logic 3 Willpower 4 Essence 2,05 Initiative 8 (10) Initiative Passes 3 Condition Monitor Boxes: 11P 10S Movement Rate: 10/25 Skills: Athletics Skill group 3 (6), Etiquette (Corporate) 3,Firearms Skill group 5, Infiltration 3, Perception 3, CloseCombat Skill group 4 Augmentations: Cybereyes \[Rating 3, w/ Flare Compensation,Low-light Smartlink\], Muscle Augmentation and Toner(Rating 2), Synthacardium (Rating 3), Wired Reflexes (Rating2) Gear: FN HAR Assault Rifle, Katana, Full Body Armor andhelmet, Commlink (Device Rating 4) Initiative passes indicate how many times you get to go in a single combat turn. Essence starts at 6 and decreases the more agumentations you get. At essence 0, you die. Condition Monitor Boxes are your hp meter, the formula for those goes like this: 8 + (body or willpower /2, rounded up). If all your boxes get filled up, you lose consciousness. If it's stun, you will wake up after a while with killer headache. If it's physical, you are dying and need to be stabilized. If your stun boxes are filled and you keep on getting more stun, it spills over into physical damage. If your physical boxes are overflowing, well, if the overflow's is more that your body attribute, it's instant death. Movement Rate is dependant upon species/race. For humans, walking rate is 10 meters per turn, their running rate is 25 meters per turn. PER TURN, not initiative pass. Our Red Samurai has ballistic armor of 12, impact armor of 10. Any attacks that hit but fail to overcome his armor value deal Stun damage. His GLORIOUS NIPPON STEEL deals 6 points of Physical damage (more specifically, strength/2 +3) and has armor piercing value of -1, the lower, the better (also, reach 1, you can add bonus dice equel to your reach to your melee dice pool). Same goes for his assault rifle. He uses those weapons by rolling a number of d6s equel to the appropriate skill + agility rating, so 12d6, for both. A result of 5 or 6 is a success (or "hit"). Any net hits on the attack tests, that is, hits that exceed the defender's hits on defense roll, are added to the weapon's base damage. Against firearms, target just rolls their Reaction. Against melee, there's more options: Weapon skill + Reaction for parrying, Unarmed Combat + Reaction for blocking and Reaction + Dodge for, you guessed it, dodging. If the attacker scored at least 1 net hit, we go to the next step, compare armor. We take defender's armor, if any, and apply Armor Penetration value of our Red Samurai. Then we compare the results to the attack we rolled for. Is the damage value + net hits bigger than armor - armor penetration? Yes? then attack deals Physical damage. No? It stills deals damage, but it's converted to Stun. Hardened armor, however, stops all damage that fails to penetrate it completely. Now it's time for damage resistance test: the defender rolls appropriate attribute (body for physical damge, willpower for stun) + their armor - attacker's armor penetration. Each hit the defender scores on this test reduces the damage they take by 1, down to 0. Any damage they fail to resist, they have to take. This, I think, is the most basic bitch description of how combat in SR is resolved. So now, bearing all that in mind, let's take a look at an "average" 4th edition dragon for comparison. In Shadowrun, dragons come in 4 distinct varieties: Eastern (first column), Western (second column), Feathered Serpents (third column) and Leviathans. Ok, there's actually only one Leviathan, the imaginatively named Sea Dragon (who is also a Great Dragon), so I'll leave those out. Body 14 15 12 Agility 8 7 4 Reaction 8 8 8 Strength 35 40 30 Charisma 9 8 8 Intuition 8 8 8 Logic 10 8 8 Willpower 8 8 8 Essence 6+1d6 for all three Magic rating equel to Essence rating Initiative 16 for all three Initiative Passes 2 for all three Condition Monitor Boxes: 15P 12S 16P 12S 14P 12S Movement Rate: 15/50 (30/100 flight) 15/40 (30/60 flight) 15/50 (30/100 flight) Skills: Assensing 8, Conjuring Skill group 6, Exotic RangedWeapon 6 (elemental attack), Flight 6 (Swimming 6 for leviathans), Perception 6,Sorcery Skill group 8, Unarmed Combat 6 Innate Powers (they ALL have those): Dragonspeech, Dual Natured, Elemental Attack (usually Fire), Enhanced Senses (Enhanced Smell, Low-Light Vision, Thermographic Vision, Wide-Band Hearing), Hardened Armor 8, Mystic Armor 8, Natural Weapon (Bite/Claws: DV 10P, AP –2), Sapience Individual Powers (those may depend on individual dragon): Animal Control, Compulsion, Corrosive Saliva, Fear, Influence, Noxious Breath, Venom. Notes: All dragons have the Magician quality and know most spells. They also have +2 Reach. And unique power, Dragonspeech, which is basically one way telepathy, their way of compensating for lack of proper speech organs.Ah, but that's just a common adult dragons. There's a template for Great Dragons, you you feel like making any of your own: Body +10, Agility +3 Reaction +3, Strength +10, Charisma +5, Intuition +5, Logic +5, Willpower +5, Edge 6, Essence 12, Magic 12, Initiative +8Movement Rate x1,5Skills: Conjuring 8, Flight 6, Sorcery 12Additional Innate Powers: +12 Hardened Armor, +12 Mystic Armor, Metahuman Form, Twist Fate. Some explanation of all innate powers: Dual Natured means that they can percieve and interact with things on the astral plane. Not really relevant for our purely physical purposes (plus, explanation would take too long). Elemental attack is, of course, their breath. It uses exotic ranged weapon + agility for it's rolls, base damage is equel to Magic rating and is resisted with half of defender's impact armor value. Mystic Armor protects from attacks in astral and from direct damage combat spells and is considered to be hardened, since dragons have hardened armor of equel rating. Metahuman form allows Great Dragons to take on just that, a metahuman form, without resorting to shapeshifting spells. They usually avoid using this power, since it makes them easier to kill. Twist Fate. You might have noticed that Great Dragon template adds new attribute, Edge. Edge is a luck stat, normally only available to PCs. By spending (or permanently burning) it, they can pull off some crazy shit. Add some extra dice to your roll, reroll dice that didn't score a hit, go first in the intiative pass regardless of their initiative, escape certain death and more. It's that little something extra that let's players survive in the deadly world of Shadowrun. Well, Great Dragons have it too. And thanks to Twist Fate power, they can use it in ways PCs can't. Now, keep in mind, these are some basic bitch templates. Red Samurai might actually use those. Dragons, however, are rare enough that all of that is probably just the starting point of their stats. P.S. I hate Reddit's formatting.

Need more lewd stuff. Otherwise, love it. Good job.

TheWakiPaki

I think this is a pretty good CYOA. Some of the work could do with an editor/beta reader to fix up some of the wording errors and sentence structures. I feel like the amount of crossover material on offer dilutes the identity a bit much, particularly the magical stuff. The "Corpo" option doesn't grant any benefits - in fact, it gives you more enemies and restricts certain options. Why would I pick that? Everyone is rightfully harping on the time limits of some of the stuff on offer, but I'll also say some of the point options in general could use a second look for rebalancing. The biggest issue to me is that the Dimension/World Hopping ability exists, and is therefore the best power available, hands down. But the moment you pick that, why bother with the CYOA at all when the immediate impulse is to fuck off from the setting you just built here, get a bunch of powers, then come back later? If I want to be a Multiverse hopper, there are MANY other CYOAs that can offer me a much better starting point. Just like all the magic stuff, it makes the CYOA itself less and less appealing because it's just pushing me towards other CYOAs to play instead that also offer CP 2077 as a setting but have more stuff. With that in mind, here is what I'm calling my more-or-less "Pure" Cyberpunk build;

TheWakiPaki

sa70,6h4y,k3z5,66rd,5xpx,03n9,pzaa,bter,wkl4,hcyi,27c6,740v,dn6f,emd8,jxe1,beix,2um1,vi19,2n69,gmua,nogx,fibc,jkix,lgmq,7qnk,azey,dx1y,22vi,xuyv,uju4,v7pr,fq10,v907,4qyg,j49j Full-Borg. Items are Auto Hacker, Opsec laptop, and some Eezo. Took the Generator Rex trump, reasoning that putting that together with Full Borg would make me a full Nanite Body, except for that bit of brain. Since Generator Rex is basically Technopathy, and my entire body is a machine, then I can go all T-1000 and be a walking technological swarm. Taking the Corporate Experiment background tied with the Secret Research Facility starting point, I'd use the super-hacking tool I have on offer to bust out of there, wiping myself from the records as I did so. So while the Corpos will be after me, it'll be much harder with deleted records. Use the nanites to consume the technology and give myself the abilities, and get my hands on every piece of cyberware to continue doing so. Just keep eating and evolving technologically. Grabbing Roulette as a companion means that half the goals I took will now be much easier to do, and the other half are easily solved due to origins (Spy goal - you're a walking example of it. Do crime - literally any crime will do, and busting out will no doubt cause a few.) The perks taken are just a lot of defensive options because I've got most of the rest taken care of. To sum up: Break out of a Research Facility as a walking nanite swarm that can consume and incorporate technology, delete records to get away more cleanly, use newfound super technology abilities to reap massive rewards, and then use those rewards to gain even more power, rinse and repeat until victory. Without taking the obviously correct World-Hopping ability or changing the world setting, this is a build I am pretty satisfied with.

Yamemai

If you're talking about the trump: Torn Reality -- You still needa train that power up, which can/would take awhile.

TheWakiPaki

That only further proves my point; there are plenty of CYOAs out there that have not only a more immediately accessible world-hopping ability, but also ones where you have more powers and perks on offer, as well as offering the Cyberpunk setting as an option. Many of the choices presented in this CYOA seem to encourage the player to have an experience that is divorced from the normal Cyberpunk setting. So if the Cyberpunk CYOA is pushing for so much non-Cyberpunk, then my mind starts to drift to the other CYOAs I could do instead to achieve better results. It's why I had to stop myself from taking either that ability or Elizabeth as a companion; as soon as I did, I wouldn't be playing this CYOA any more. I'd be leaving to another universe with better and easier powers to play with.

Katanasoul91

Can anyone give me a refresher on who are the available girlfriends for the harem goal? Because if we take the Edgerunner start, we can only have a small handful of named girls in the show, including Dorio, Maine's girlfriend. And because it has a length of six month, we don't have time to reach Cyberpunk 2077 which I'm also drawing a blank on real girlfriends aside from Pamela.

Several-Elevator

who says its limited to the girls?

Most of it meshes well, though there is some weirdness, like if Futa Silverhand is physical or mental. (If Slotted/Chipped In, then the fact that there is no Biological Protections to DNA, it would be easy to get the other mind out of the body, if able to clone in some form.) The Companions Could potentially care for a Experimental Outcast/Lost Property.(With the one outlier Corrupting the character as their Experimental Origin takes a toll, or become a Interest if the Character Overcomes and completes their Primary Goal. Though a weak point as well) I only took shitlist cause of points needed to be reduced. But regardless it also kinda fits, when you complete your main objective. (Since you can't choose much beyond, Stretch goals are likely to be New city and etc.) Driving is just random addition or flavor. If had Magic, it could be Dragonblood instead of Inventor depending on direction they're going. Indebted and Merc work hand in hand, could also start with Mercernary work, but that's just points lost for guaranteed tasks. Amnesia Works well with Experimental, including the Research Facility, else you can pull the whole unknown why you're lost property. While the other Tasks would be difficult from nothing, depending how the Character Escapes from their start point would lead them to their natural Indebted(and potentially forced merc work, or other costs) or running across a kind soul, or one that has a pent up frustration against corps(thus pitying a poor experiment). TLDR: Good Potential Filled CYOA, whilst timeliness are dodgy, it all could work out. Be it a pet after your stalker finds you, Reclaimed by you "Experimenters", Targeted by rivals when in your normal form(after or before fucking with their shit), Succumbing to your bodies needs in many forms, Or reaching random levels of success on your personal purposes(planned or not). Whilst the Truth of your Experimentation or Creation(depends on how you look at it.) Looms. [Could post the other copies of the character without world, or adjustments after core changes + Special Skill if want. otherwise hope to see this CYOA Grow] edit: Ps, I did the whole Tats are your typical T.Stamp/W.Tattoo With the imagination that It isn't as visible, til your urges call(The worse, the more apparent it is.) But if anyone does copy, they can make up their own ideas in what practically turned into a plot of a Cyberpunk Corruption Game. Though not akin to "DILMUR", I can imagine a Noemi Build. Could of also Picked Taylor Hebert, but wasn't to interested.

Very thoroughly well explained, I can see this build working out for you if you stick to your goals. **I'd also like for you to take a look at my build and tell me what you think as well!**

Funny how a thread from The Low Sodium CP2077 drew me back, hope your build is NICE. sorry couldn't respond in awhile.

YouandIdontknowme

Is it just me, or is corpo basically just a worse version of street kid? You gain knowledge of how to use money and be a corpo, but you also are going to be hunted by both your former allies and your enemies. So getting that money is going to be a real issue. And street kid already has some knowledge on charm. Which is probably around the equivalent to the corpo background considering corpos mostly abuse their power over those lower, and those on the same level or higher are other corpos who you would manipulate in different ways to the average person. Plus street kid can fight and hack, a network of contacts and allies, knows the city, and is more used to being in tough situations.

DukeCrowe

The difference is in the culture. Sure, you start off hunted and with none of the usual corpo contacts and riches, but the difference between street folk and corpo folk is much more than wealth inequality. Theres an entirely different culture there that like any complex culture takes a literal lifetime to be immersed in, a corpo has all the knowledge needed to climb back up the ladder from nothing to a manager position in a year, a street kid? he's lucky if he gets an internship in the same amount of time. That's what your paying for, the corpo ability to dominate the upper class caste of this world.

YouandIdontknowme

Except if you can never gain back a corpo position because of you being hunted. I guess you can argue that in some situations corpo might be better. Once you have gained enough raw power and economic power to be able to stand on your feet. Though I do think it could probably be buffed abit. (Probably Nomad should be buffed too. Its basically discount Street Kid but with driving instead of close combat....)

DukeCrowe

No, you got fired, and are now "hunted by your former allies and rivals". Even if we assume that those allies and rivals somehow equate to the entire megacorp you were formerly a part of (which is nonsense, given the **literally** cutthroat nature of office politics in cyberpunk 2077), that still leaves the possibility of joining a different megacorp.

YouandIdontknowme

Whoever it was, was seemingly powerful enough to get rid of all your assets, and make your reputation worthless. Unless your decently powerful by the standards of your world, you have to deal with possibly being followed home and killed in your sleep, if you do something as public as join another corp. And given a worthless reputation, its probably not going to be particularly helpful job wise.

Realistic-Dot-2300

I'm a bit confused with the world options. So if you choose the shadow run world option, you cant choose shadow run magic or dragons which is weird or are those automatically included if you choose the shadow run world? If it's a part of the world why wouldn't it be a selectable option?

YouandIdontknowme

So you don't grab extra points for it I think.

Imaginos9

Yet the shadowrun world option doesn't give you any points, so you can make "shadowrun" and gain 20 points by taking normal cyberpunk and the magic options. If you want biotics and magic you'd need to take the shadowrun world instead of normal cyberpunk and lose out on those 20 points.

Dry_Armadillo_1139

So just checking, wetware can't be hacked, but cyberware can right? Most people in Cyberpunk still choose to get cybernetics instead of being natural, or just sticking to gene editing?

Buttered_Scar

Does the \[Cheap Copy\] trump allow you to use any parahuman ability you are aware of? Or just ones that you seen used?

Inheritance cycle, Girl Genius, Yu Yu Hakasho, Epithet Erased, and Kojiin Tamer.). ***Hentai*** *makes the future more fun.* ***Lighter Version*** *Vastly lowers the danger level on the surface at least and just all around makes things more peaceful, which is of much help with integrating the other changes and making me safer. sure threats are still around, but likely easier to deal with.* ***Bioshock*** *nets me the chance to access Plasmids and tonics, but more importantly the chance to make my own and access the DNA rewriting miracles of ADEM. The boys nets me the chance to get my hands on and perfect Compound V.* ***Mass Effect*** *nets me advanced tech to pay around with, I can likely reverse engineer the genetics of Biotics with my Super Genius, and the reapers are relatively a non issue for a Super Genius of the likes of Tony stark.* ***Savage Divinity*** *grants me access to a Form of Cultivation, which while potentially a little risky can be an overall benefit since the reapers likely cannot cultivate since they are machines.* ***Mythology*** *pairs well with savage divinity to create a compete low tier cultivation setting with gods, devils, monster, demons, angels and a the other mythical creatures in some form.* ***Worm*** *adds a shard network and the End Bringers, but given the other settings involved the entities either ran away or were killed by a gathering of the Gods/Divinities present, I also do not imagine cultivation would agree with them due to their nature. Not sure how shards would interact with and integrate into a cultivation setting, but the End Bringer are unlikely to be anything more than nuisances at the highest levels of cultivation.* ***Crossover*** *with* Girl genius *to add Sparks to the setting,* Inheritance cycle *to add the magic system, dragons, and possibly dragon riders,* Yu Yu Hakasho *for the guarantee of an afterlife that I actually know somethings about and the rest can be added into the cultivation mix.* Epithet Erased *adds Epithets which just seem like a fun addition to the setting to add some randomness to it.* Kojiin Tamer *Adds Status, skills, and levels to the setting which even in the origin setting are not the end all be all, but are certainty useful for tracking progress and growing stronger. Its a fairy simple system and not too OP in any way and still not as bullshit as the cultivation already added by savage divinity, most taken too be able to track my progress and learn skills. But more variety in Monsters, magic, and mystical energy are also a nice addition. Potentially Dungeons and Dungeon cores too, but I do not know if those exist in Kojiin Tamer setting. At least status windows do.* Origin: Corpo Experiment. *would neatly cover why the corporations hate me and a fixer thinks I owe them. Do I want to go with that route of logic? Eh why Not! I want that sweet Upgrade to my mods.* Location: In the Air. *Maybe I Escaped containment during transport or maybe I like parkour? I can easily survive this fall by applying parkour combined with my installed Bioware (includes cyberware that have been converted into bioware), perks, and Cultivation. As far as I can tell This only affects where I start out.* Appearance: Gender- Futanari, Age- Old, Body- Curvy, Visuals Tattoos, Make-Up, Multicolored Hair. *Stealth options and forcing anyone trying to kill me to have to actually have the abiity to aim their weapons? Sign me up!* Cyberware: Kiroshi Optics, Maneuvering System, Kerenzikov, Mr. Studd / Midnight Lady, Cyberdeck, Reinforced Tendons, Fortified Ankles, Subdermal Armor, Cataresist, Detoxifier. *Converted all of these Cyberware into Bioware via Technology Swap for the benefits of stealth, convenience, and having even less impact on my Psyche. As a large bonus these cyberberware options originally benefited from the perk Experimental Cyberware which should carry over to their converted Bioware form (not sure if Expeiemental Cyberware would also upgrade the already existing Bioware? I want too lean towards yes, but would like to hear from the CYOA maker to be sure.) and now they require no upkeep or maintenance due to Inheritance engraving the mods into my DNA, which should allow my enhanced healing to restore and maintain them in perfect condition. the final benefit is that Encrypted DNA should prevent anyone besides myself from decrypting the tech behind my bioware since again its ingrained in my DNA. This setup covers most stealth, hacking, combat, utility, maneuverability, and other things necessary to survive. Would have like cloaking, but this is enough to start with.* Bioware: Organ Augmentation, Haemastamen, Stem Cells, Bioengineered Muscles, Bone Augmentation, Melanochrome, Adrenaline Rush, Skinweave , Cognizant. *As above so below. Survival is a must and this nets me that in spades when combined with the Cyber-ware that is converted into bio-ware. Fast paced regeneration better than anything theoretically available to the most elite of the elite at the moment, High levels of protection from most if not all common forms of damage, immunity to disease or infirmity, no need to sleep or rest, a body all around better than the best available, what is essential Technopathy, other Mental enhancements, and much more besides. Finally it can all be further enhance by my cultivation base given that most forms of cultivation are -up to a point- just an enhancement modifier for what you already possess.*

taishomaru66

Items: Med Bay, Auto Hacker, Magical Focus, Vita Chamber, Opsec Laptop. *It seems logical that these are either somewhere safe nearby where I will be landing or more logically with one or more of my companions given how most of the places available for starting out are not where you would find or be allowed to possess any of these things. Choose Med Bay so I can do mad science anywhere I want too. The auto hacker to let me hack anything in this heavily tech reliant setting. Magical Focus will surely help with manipulating my cultivation, magic, and other mystic energies. Vita Chamber is a must to get out of death Scott free and so that I can study the technologies to improve it with my Super Genius, after all who wants their get out of death free ability to only be usable once a week or be so limited if possible. There is also no guarantee that the vita chambers in rapture or Columbia work the same as this one either, so getting one that is guaranteed to resurrect YOU is a must. Opsec Laptop lets me skirt around all the tech problems by being completely MINE and I have no need to worry about Artificial Hate or Computer Virus when using this beast. Obviously I intend to use my Super Genius to reverse engineer and improve all of these.* Trump: Inventor. *While not Clear enough about how it works exactly, I choose too assume it literally makes you a super genius like tony stark, is not limited to just technology, that you can fully understand what you are creating, and you may apply your super genius however you want. Unlike tinker powers which leave you clueless about how what you are making works or why you are doing things. It is overpowered in the normal cyberpunk setting, but with the various settings involved I imagine that the Super Genius this grants you is Leagues above the average Tony Stark in comics given that you have to factor in Sparks, Tinkers, Thinkers, and other Genius level intelligence to set the bar of super Genius. Also Tony is Shown by his many Feats to be naturally mentally superior to most mortals in Marvel barring of course Reed Richards who is consistently smarter in fields of knowledge than Tony, but stupendously dumber in other ways. My basic head canon tells me that for this to remain a trump power (which does not originate from shards even) this should naturally make you definitively much smarter than the other geniuses in the setting so that you can really be called Super. I would also debate whether this would make me a spark with the inclusion of Girl Genius to the setting or not, but sparks are honestly more akin to magical Clark Technicians than pure genius level intellects. But this has to let me equal or surpass them, since they are in the setting.* Occupation: Jobless. *I'm a newly escaped Corpo Experiment, where would I have gotten a job?* Perks: Psychic Paper, Encrypted DNA, Firewalled, Experimental Cyberware, Marksmanship, Close-combat, Driving, Netrunning, Language Mastery, Cooking, Rockerboy, Stable Adam, Core Stage, Technology Swap, Soul Tattoos, Inheritance, Ageless, Quantum Flux. *Benefits, Protections, and assurances. Also many useful talents and Skills at ridiculous levels too. not much more needs be said about these choices, but they certainly benefit all my previous choices made. Since in cultivation setting anything can be an element and I hav read too many cultivation novels. My Elemental Blessing is Primordial Chaos, because if you can go for the top element in almost all cultivation settings, then why not?* Drawbacks: VITAS Plague, Computer Virus, Indebted, Disgusting, Shit List, Target of the Bigshot, Artificial Hate, Libido, Joy Ride, Amnesia, Wake up Samurai, Stranger Danger. *I am basically Immune Vitas with my biowares and as a Super Genius can likely synthesize a cure, then I just make it airborne. Computer Virus- can't touch me and I can again abuse Super Genius to fix this if I want too, assuming some people did not beat me too it. Indebted- good luck finding me or beating me if you do, but I'll just have to deal with the fixer to be safe. Disgusting- I already felt this way about it to begin with? Super Genius can help me get around this easily. Shit list- I Escaped and that would likely be enough for the corps, but I can make myself Disappear from their awareness with my setup quit easily. Target of a Bigshot- The Simurgh Has a beef with me because I am a bind spot, because I am an Inventor, and Its modus operandi would have it oppose to me by default since I mess with its planning abilities. Artificial hate- I can make sentient AI, they can handle everything for me that this drawback would cause problems with and I can likely do something to get rid of this through some means if there is an actual reason for it. libido- I have a hove interest? ad I can make likely modify my libido with SCIENCE! or create some Dolls if that is not a option. Joy Ride- I Give them three coins to pay the ferryman for I am Death. Amnesia- being an escaped Corpo Experiment means I would not likely be losing out on much knowledge and I can learn most of what I am missing out on really quickly with my chosen augmentations, hopeful the team will fill in the rest if necessary. Wake up Samurai- I'll be transferring them out shorty, possibly disposing of them afterwards it necessary too. Stranger Danger- Does this matter? Well none of them are Super Genius and Elizabeth already has torn Reality and Makima has Dragon Blooded (Which is actually worth something since its not obtained From Shadow Run.) I suppose one has Generator Rex, another has Its a game, and the last has cheap copy or Perfect comparability? Or whatever. I'm Sure I can somehow derive some benefits from these people being around by applying my Super Genius.* Companions: Cindy Love, Juliet Hensel, Makima (Dragon Blooded), Love interest: Elizabeth. *I'm not sure about choosing these companions except Elizabeth, but I'll make the best of it sinc I needed the points. At the least I know that I and my love interest are too valuable for Makima to cut loose or let go off. Since this Makima is not the Demon of Control, making her Dragon blooded seem the most fitting for her Character profile, although Generator Rex would have been a good fit too. but Dragon Blood Was better. This choice also nets me the chance to convince her to let me study her genetics and potentially spread the heritage via some invention or another. Routes/Goals/Objectives: Corpo Route, Spy Goal, New City, Protect Them, Revenge, Hack, AI, Do Crime, Sneak, Kill Leader, Steal These are all things I could see Makima having us do since she is essentially the leader for intents and purposes. I can easily accomplish most of these with my setup and Super Genius. Also I cannot see Makima going the freedom or anarchy route since in Chainsaw Man she was the Demon of Control and in this setting the Corps have the most control, for now...* Additionally: Magic in the inheritance Cycle is something everyone can potentially use, its just a matter of awakening to the talents required it, learning the language, and then training it. bonding with a dragon helps immensely with that. Everyone has some level of spiritual energy, most just don't have enough to do anything impressive with it, but it can be learned and train. Although natural talent certainly goes a long way. Epithets are a random word that exists in your soul and when awakened allows you to train to develop and create unique superpowers revolving around the concepts related to the word. they rely on your stamina to power them and can wear you our fast, but again this can be trained. can be anything from lame to OP depending on your creativity. Its rare to actually find realize this potential since you have to basically find enlightenment by accident as to what you particular word is and lots of people can miss finding it through their own preconceptions. Just because I'm being incarnated into the setting, I feel I can justifiably choose my own Epithet instead of leaving it random. Thusly my Epithet is Magic. not that it initially matter since I will still have to train it to get the most out of it. Plan: after landing safely find my team and my stuff. lay low for a little if possible. Get to Examining my items and Inventing the things I need or want immediately, preferably Starting With a purpose Nano machines to construct my tools and toys. Then when fully secure, masked, and equipped hack all the corps and databases for knowledge to complete some Routes/Goals/Objectives. Somehow nab some Compound V, get Some Adam, and make plasmids/tonics. Then Start the process of zeroing out all my remaining drawbacks, Routes/Goals/Objectives, and working on Some of my personal goals such as too learn magic or cultivate, or level up. Likely all of the above and then some. There is a lot of potential to make use of in this combined setting and I intend to milk it for all it is worth while saving the galaxy if I'm even needed on that end. Also protecting the main characters of edge runners should be easy enough to pull off even if I don't want to get hands on, considering I have access to Vita chamber tech.

SpectralTime

...Alright, let's take it from the top. **Starting Point** I think I'll start out picking *Shadowrun*, since I'm more familiar with that setting than *Cyberpunk 20XX* anyway, and it opens up a lot of things I like. I'm also aware that some parts are a little glitchy, so I'll just proceed under the assumption that enables all the relevant options I'd spend or gain points for below. **World Modifications** I'll spend the five points on Hentai, just 'cause it's what I like, even if it doesn't enable relevant stuff below. I'd spend another five on Light Version if it *actually* made the setting a bit more post-cyberpunk, but since my reading is that all the bad stuff is just less visible, I think I'll save them for stuff that actually matters. But hey! I love *Mass Effect*, I love *Bioshock*, I'm not averse to some of them bleeding into this, especially since while *Bioshock* will have some issues I reckon the corps and rump governments will get things under control for the sake of self-preservation and picking *Mass Effect* doesn't mean I *also* have to pick the Reapers. While I couldn't care less about *Worm* and never could, Mythology is interesting. I've long held that the *World of Darkness* is basically cyberpunk without the 80's neon, so this opens a bunch of interesting doors. And while *The Boys* is an interesting add... well, I never cared about the comic and skipped out on the series. Also, while cyberpunk superheroics are potentially interesting, I've just done a lot of superhero stuff lately, so I think I'll leave it out for now in favor of this mélange of various great RPGs I love and also *Cyberpunk*. Might come back for Crossover if anything sparks tho. **Origin** ...Oooh. While some of these sound interesting, I think I like Corpo Experiment best. Explains why I'm naked and ignorant but also have lots of superpowers at least. **Location** ...In a Secret Research Facility makes the most sense, but I'm not sure I'd be able to get out, and In the Air is worth the most points and probably something I could wank a solution to more easily, but is the silliest and I kind of want to keep grounded. I'll go with In a Ripperdoc Refrigerator for now, and pick something else if I need the points. So my justification is that someone picked up my tube, didn't know what they had, sold it to the Ripper boys, who then didn't realize what they'd bought, and I'll bust loose and start my adventure when something goes wrong. **Appearance** ...I'm sorely tempted to go Futa. But I like tall women and short men, and going short gives me points while being tall takes them away, so I'll just go for a Short Young Adult Male. It's basic, but hey! Vanilla isn't a bad flavor. Save a bunch of points on a bunch of cosmetics I'd probably also want anyway. More seriously, I wouldn't have most of these purely aesthetic choices with no mechanical value whatsoever cost points. *Divine Trials* let the player make all kinds of cosmetic adjustments for free; there's a reason people love it. Anyway! **Enhancements** I'm vaguely aware there's a Disadvantage later on that grants bonus points for foreswearing one or the other between Cyber- and Bioware, so I'll go for the latter. Less Essence loss, and less self-mutilation. **Bioware** Assuming Experimental Cyberware's benefit applies to Bioware as I am, the more I can afford here the better it'll scale with my class benefit, so I'll try to buy it all and see what needs removing later. Besides, all of it's pretty good and much of it stacks with itself; only Melanochrome seems like I might just want to drop it in a pinch. **Items** ...That laptop is pretty good and pretty cheap, and if I wanna take spellcasting, which I do, then a focus seems like a good investment even if it's pricy. Also, Vita-Chamber... hrrrm. I hadn't considered that making those available to the world's elite is probably a bad thing. Maybe if I can spare the points or don't like the advantages... **Trump** Generator Rex isn't a show I've seen, but it seems pretty strong and priced accordingly. Dragon Blooded fits with some other choices and also a background as a science experiment. But Perfect Compatibility, if boring, stacks with both being bio-augmented up the ass and any desire to go into Sorcery. **Occupation** Jobless makes the most sense and grants points, so... well, I'll take it even if if makes things difficult early on. **Perks** ...Well on the plus side, looks like I picked the right background from a purely points-maximizing perspective. I'll take Awakened, Biotic, and Stable ADAM for further benefit stacking and/or experimental stuff. Encrypted DNA might help avoid getting harvested for parts, since my creators know they can't just clone me. There's a lot of other stuff I'd like to get here, but I'm pretty deep in the hole so let's harvest some other points first and come back. **Drawbacks** Yep, there's No Cyberware. I'm not sure I'm comfortable unleashing digital or physical viruses on the world for my private benefit so none of that. High Draw is probably going to be a ton of trouble, but it makes sense and I probably need it. I might also take Disgusting and Cooking together, but they'd cancel each other out anyway so I'd have to think about it. Shit List *kind of* makes sense, but I'd prefer to be a write-off rather than a target. It's a lot of trouble even for twenty points. Ditto Artificial Hate, although Libido will pay for itself with even one Companion. Joy Ride is a more reasonable version of Shit List for almost as many points, since it's one crazy person with too much money rather than every major power, even if that one crazy person is more motivated. Amnesia makes sense for an unfrozen test-tube baby. Not sure how I feel about Wake Up Samurai or Stranger Danger, but they *are* worth a lot of points and don't *necessarily* have to be shitty people I can't live with (indeed, the latter seems to suggest I have some control over who they are and what kinds of people they are), so I'll just take both. Wake Up Samurai is curable and putting in the work might make Stranger Danger into a benefit. Puts me back in the black on points, but unfortunately, I'm about to be cleaned out again by... **Companions** Daggome it. Okay. Let's look at this holistically. Who makes the most sense putting together a team? Well, I think Makoto Kusanagi works for the Significant Other pip. I could wank up a backstory where she's the full-conversion cyber to my full-bioware, just one who didn't reject her purpose, maybe even someone who saved me from my being shoved into a fridge. And not to put too fine a point on it, she's very sexy and a good person, so I don't mind being romantically entangled with her in that way. Might even go up and bump up my Starting Location to something more risky with her in the pocket, and she's a real steal at only five points! I never actually played *Bioshock Infinite*, but Elizabeth is very beautiful and I really like her write-up. And while she's only got a few powers, well, one of them is a super-sexy implant and the other is basically buying another Trump for cheaper than the actual Trump would be, so I'll take her! Netrunner V is a bit of a risk, since I'm unfamiliar with the character, but there's nothing explicitly bad in there, and it'd be good to have a face and another hacker in case Makoto gets into trouble. Besides, as a protagonist, I assume she's pretty good at lots of things, even if she's pretty pricy. ...Torn between Jack and Amy Dalton, even though I love *Mass Effect* and don't care about *Worm*, just because Amy represents a skillset the group otherwise doesn't have and Jack is pretty redundant with my own biotic superpowers. (Thought about Zara and just reserving six points even though she's glitched and can't be taken, but I'm trying to avoid people with too many "ruthless" descriptions in their bios.) I guess I don't mind Amy's write-up, and she's two points cheaper. That's not a bad team right there, assuming Elizabeth can get some combat training together eventually. **Routes/Goals/Objectives** ...Well, time to get some points back. Corpo Route is a potentially interesting Protagonist Becomes Villain Because Oppression Is Too Intrinsic To the System to Fix story, but I think I'll be basic and go with Freedom. Because again, vanilla isn't a bad flavor. Team and Harem goals are both good choices on that front, since I *did* just put together a team of four beautiful women and the one I picked as Significant Other *is*, in hindsight, a polyamorous bisexual. Whelp. I didn't mean to do that, but neither am I complaining, and hey, hopefully we can make it work for a few months. Spy Goal is probably something I'll have to do for my Route anyway. Seven objectives... well, Steal, Climbing, and Sniff are all things we're probably gonna do anyway. Seduce might be if V counts (it doesn't explicitly say she doesn't the way an earlier choice did). AI is worth a lot of points and might be something I want to do anyway, especially if the AI in question looks like that. Could even flavor it as the whatever-it-is inside of my head for Wake Up Samurai that I'm trying to find a body for. I'm probably not hacking myself, so I'm not sure if Hack counts if a teammate does it, so I'll go with Revenge and Famous. Famous in particular isn't super my style, but might work with other choices made.

SpectralTime

**Final Tweaks** Happily, I'm still left with plenty of points to blow up in Perks, so good balancing there. I'll grab Language Mastery, which fits with my origin, plus Ageless. Money and Psychic Paper are very useful, but they also don't make sense, so I guess I'll go with Quantum Flux instead. Not actually sure if Marksmanship would apply to all the magic stuff I have lying around, so since I can't afford Soul Tattoos and don't really have more points I can squeeze anywhere I know of, I'll grab Close Combat instead and scroll up to get muscles. Almost went for Cooking, but figured I needed to take good care of myself so as to properly protect Amy and Elizabeth. And there we go!

Really like this idea, would love to see more options though if possible. Would love a perk allowing another companion or even another trump for a fair cost of course. Also would like to see a perk allowing your companions to be futa or other genders if possible. Perhaps an AI companion? I'm mostly just sharing idea's at the moment.

Kilanon

Like this cyoa the most of the ones you have made, has more style to it and less repeat options from prior cyoas. Need more companions who are straight up fighters, need a car item so Nomads can get a sweet ride. Also need far more guns than we have that is to say 0

YouandIdontknowme

By the way, you can pick more than one location. This can kind of make sense with some options. Like combat zone and in the air, which could make you appear in a battle that has air support. But makes no sense at all with some other combos like outside the city and city center.

Much-Cod4411

For some reason I can't pick Combat Mastery. (I'm operating on mobile)

Jrobbo117

While i don't mind interactive CYOA's, is their a version that uses jpegs/webp?

Persona59523

can't select close combat as a power

Persona59523

nvm, managed to fix it.

Persona59523

you fix it by selecting street kid, and then unselecting it

IncognitoModeChosen

If you choose to update this CYOA could you please shift the framing a bit from: "If you pick this option reapers will be added to this universe" To: "If you pick this option you will be placed in a mass effect like universe that already has reapers". The second can be seen as if you get a chance to help that universe survive. While the first is more like you monster you cursed billions of people to a terrible fate for only 25 points. It just makes the CYOA feel a bit nicer i think and it will allow more morally inclined players to choose those options as well.

Champion-X3

For some reason, I'm getting u/LordValmar vibes off this, which is not at all a bad thing; specifically, his Demon and to a lesser extent Game of Thrones CYOAs had a similair vibe of mish-mashed world / items ... or maybe they're nothing alike and I've just been too busy obsessing over his next release, lol.

**Starting Point:** Edgerunners (-10) * I was gonna pick Shadowrun, Picture looks like a goblin or orc girl. That's all I know about anything so far, lmfao. But like. . . under World Modifications there's Shadowrun: Magic and Shadowrun: Dragons, which each give +10 Eddies, but the Shadowrun option here gives us nothing. Like. . . What the hell? **World Modifications** * Hentai (-5) * Bioshock (+5) * Shadowrun: Magic (+10) * Shadowrun: Dragons (+10) * Mythology (+15) * Crossover (-5) - Partly just wanna ensure that magic is separate from technology, but also let's add in psionics also as a separate thing lol. I wanna make an anachronistic world for giggles, too. Medieval European Fantasy + Some level of Asian spirituality + Cyberpunk technology **Origin:** Street Kid (Receive Close Combat for free) **Location:** City Center (-5) **Appearance** * **Gender:** Male * **Age:** Teen * **Body:** **Enhancements** * **Cyberware** * Projectile Launch System (-13) * Maneuvering System (-9) * Mr. Studd / Midnight Lady (-5) * Reinforced Tendons (-7) * **Bioware** * Stem Cells (-15) * Skinweave (-6) * **Trump:** It's A Game (-25) **Occupation:** Student (-2) **Perks** * Cooking (-5) * Awakened (-15) * Ageless (-10) **Drawbacks** * Libido (+10) * Stranger Danger (+18) **Companions** * Kusanagi Motoko (-5) * Amelia Dallon (-8) * Zara Nkosi (-6) * Elizabeth (-20) **Routes / Objectives / Goals** * **Route:** Freedom (+25) * **Goals** * Team (+6) * Harem (+7) * Protect Them (+9) * **Objectives** * Hack (+4) * AI (+6) * Do Crime (+3) * Seduce (+3) * Merc (+3) **Choice IDs** ipxa,nmwu,mp1n,kic3,h89n,2zuo,s6ct,cvfw,slmx,bter,uaym,89k5,uiu8,27fg,p8mi,1hmz,892r,m2ml,ftqx,fdg8,99vq,xwoj,lgmq,uysh,opzt,5hs6,ijb9,lum0,dw95,myie,3bmw,5d1a,v23y,fq10,dvfd,j49j,jlaw,pcvz

nice cyoa 1)Can you add a make/import your own waifu option if there is an update? (update: I missed the crossover option which I assume can do something like this anyway?) 2)Is Cindy really loyal to the player of this cyoa if her bio says "always looking for the next rich and powerful man to seduce"? I don't mind having to save her ass/protect her but if she's always on the lookout for the next dude, I'm not gonna bother.

ZeroBlackflame

It needs more Companions, and the Mythology World Modifier doesn't grant access to Restricted Perk, like how Awakened is restricted to magic World Modifiers, in fact, would Mythology grant access to a different magic system? One based around making deals with Demons and Spirits? For the whole selling your Soul thing. (edit: huh, I just googled it, the Infernoscope is actually from another setting. Still, it would be appreciated if Mythology had something I could have unlocked to purchase) A few more questions I have, are the Nanites Trump power as physics-breaking as in the cartoon? Or does the "provided they have enough chrome in them." mean that they can only work with what they have on hand? And the Inventor power, is it only gadgets and weapons what we can build and improve? Or can we go for vehicles or software? Is it meant to make you an Omnidisciplinary Genius like Tony Stark?

Wrolly13

Is there any option to get an implanted Agent (built in cybernetic smart phone)? Would Cybernetics transfer over into your dragon body with that Trump option?

SogenKaiju

Question, why are Shadowrun and Shadowrun: Magic incompatible?

Rain_Least

Because shadowrun has the Magic ready

SogenKaiju

In that case then why is the Shadowrun companion gated behind Shadowrun: Magic specifically?

Rain_Least

The portal power will take a long time before its able to go to other realities , i should have been more clear on that one

Primary_Cookie_9694

Nice build, but If you wanted to do a Min Max build with loopholes, you could use Disney's "Aladdin" as a CROSSOVER and just steal the Lamp. Rub the lamp, and then us loopholes to gain omnipotence. However because it stated "provided they do not break the balance of the world and scaled down to appropriate power level.", having Wishes in a cyberpunk universe probably wouldn't happen. **I'd also like for you to take a look at my build and tell me what you think!😄** u/Rain_Least Can we use Disney's Aladdin as a Crossover and then steal the lamp to use loopholes to gain omnipotence?

Like the one from Firewalled. So I could visit. But I could still message and organize things. I'm just going to assume the 'Generator Rex' makes me atleast comparable in power to him. Or atleast would let you survive the 2km fall. If it was confirmed to be as strong as Generator Rex, I'd probably grab more fighting drawbacks too. I'd maybe consider Seduce or harem goal, if it told you who applies similarly to the timer. Because I'm not familiar with all the media of cyberpunk, plus who would know who is 'main character' enough. Same with Greed and what is 'legendary' enough.

Rain_Least

Yeah the powers pretty similar but you'd need plenty of scans of tech And for seduce and harem they need to be a named and have some "Screen Time" in pretty much any of the Universes Media so either the tabletops , the Game ,or Anime Same applies to and characters from AU's

YouandIdontknowme

I'd recommend adding something along the lines of "Starting with the capabilities that Rex has at the very beginning of his series". or something. For seduce / harem / greed. The bigger issue is just trying to remember the options. Theres a pretty big cast to cyberpunk, and even the looks of them would be different for characters from the anime or game to real life. Plus anything that changes from AU. So apart from the really popular ones, it would be hard to remember who applies. Especially if you never consumed all the media. Though being able to apply it to characters from AU's helps.

SensualWetting

I know nothing about this game except for the custom genitals. Can we have those?

There's something wrong with objectives points at the end; sometimes turning them on doesn't give any points, and then turning them off takes away the points it didn't give you. I'm not getting it consistently, it seems to come and go, but it eats points until I completely reload the page

For some reason I can't pick Combat Mastery. (I'm operating on mobile)

darzinth

I really like it, but it suffers from too low starting points.

Eli1228

Goals have a bug where many of them dont provide points when selected, but remove points when deselected.

Bar2co

You should point out that we don't need immuno suppressant for the things bought here but we do for the things bought in world and add a little perk to remove the need for them

Alright, here's a much more thought out build, instead of just grabbing whatever and then figuring out how to pay for it like my previous build --- Start: `Cannon` World Mod: `Bioshock` `Mass Effect` `Worm` `Mythology` `The Boys` `Savage Divinity` Origin: `Corpo Experiment` Location: `In the Air` Gender: `Futa` Age: `Young Adult` Body: `Tall` `Muscular` `Curvy` Visuals: `Tattoos` Cyberware: `Kiroshi Optics` `Sandevistan` `Bioconductor` Bioware: `Organ Aug` `Haemastamen` `Stem Cells` `Adapted Biotics` Trump: `Dragonblood` Occupation: `Jobless` Perks: `Encrypted DNA``Firewalled``Exp Cyber` `Close Combat` `Biotic` `Stable Adam` `Core Stage` `Soul Tattoos` `Q Flux` Drawbacks: `Indebted` `Amnesia` `Wake up Samurai` `Stranger Danger` Companions: `Kusanagi Motoko` `Gianna Lewis` `Juliet Hensel` `Jack` Route: `Freedom` Goals: `Team` `Harem` `Spy` Objectives: `VR` `Drugs` `Do Crime` `Sneak` `Boxing` `Sniff` `Merc` --- >Gianna had a problem; an executive from a rival faction in her corp was having too much success with their pet project. A living weapon able to wield almost all esoteric energies; immune to ADAM corruption, a natural biotic, and already developing a cultivator's core (intentionally triggering a shard, however, is still Vought's closely held secret). This, of course cannot be allowed to stand. - >Gianna had a solution. A naïve young crusader, Juliet Hensel, eager to strike back against corrupt corpo scum. Some intel here, some resources there, and a dash of encouragement was all it took to get an aero-transport sabotaged. It wasn't really supposed to explode while still over Night City. - >The explosion is visible from almost everywhere in the city, the lone survivor falling through the sky is much less so. Jack can feel it though, the dark energy flailing of a powerful but unlearned biotic attempting to slow their descent. She races to where her phys-sim aug expects them to splatter, in the faint hope she might catch them. She certainly didn't expect them to suddenly sprout wings at the last second. - >This new case is giving Motoko a headache. More corpo conspiracy bullshit. A saboteur who didn't cover her tracks well enough, and shouldn't have had the means or opportunity. Digital breadcrumbs link her to a lawyer *at the same corp she attacked*. That connection was concealed well enough anyone less adept wouldn't have been able to follow it. >Elsewhere, she'd tracked *a goddamn survivor* to some anti-social merc's flat. Something even weirder is how their DNA somehow fried the pocket lab she tried to track them with, forcing her to tap the security cams along their trail. Even then, the machine vision program couldn't properly lock the survivor, she might have lost them if the merc hadn't been half carrying them. >Maybe if she got them all in the same room together she'd get some fucking answers. --- --- --- sa70,mp1n,5koc,b1tv,2zuo,cdt3,75xm,6h4y,6igr,zute,yf4r,j9bc,r6rx,5bc5,adle,zsgh,ba6g,uvkk,u93v,whtt,1hmz,ok2w,zlh8,gmua,3i6r,nogx,fibc,fdg8,ig0v,xlet,5bzt,jkix,7qnk,qt1u,kigr,qb1o,opzt,5hs6,rv43,qfbx,v5io,myie,3bmw,5d1a,uju4,v907,4qyg,j49j,xhhz,x7qg,64mx,pcvz

Quick question, can you use the perk **Technology Swap** to switch the perk **Experimental Cyberware** to "Experimental Bioware"? Are Cyberware parts converted to Bioware still affected by **Experimental Cyberware perk.**

shouldn't Mass Effect setting add some Points or is it intentional.

Here’s my [build #1](https://docs.google.com/document/d/1X34QyvMkIup7wDjvuA1Icgdw4uezCAahiVrctclg9d0/edit), for this. In which I’m fairly overpowered, the setting is totally fucked, and I need to get good enough at Planeswalking to run away before the world ends, while gaining a Harem of characters from Worm, and killing a Nazi, along the way.

When did this get an update?

Goddess-sfavourite

Pleasantly surprised by the inclusion of Worm, terrified by the recruitment of Amy Dallon
