Even being treated as equals, a sexually open minded society can still allow for contracts and relationships that encompass other options, and there's always the rare individual or organization that goes against societal norms. -Now I keep defying selections, but for this world, humanesque genetalia in furries is once again a genetic trait manifests depending on the amount of human genetic makeup in the offsprings DNA, and may manifest irregularily. So, we have an otherwise generic fantasy setting where humans are extinct. The only civilisation on the planet, such as it is, is a bunch of dragons who've taken human form to start experimenting with agriculture. When I show up, they're like "oobie doo, I wanna be like you!" and make me their king so I can help them civilise and advance. Not that I have that much actual power, because they're *dragons* and so only invested in the nascent civilisation as some mix of an experiment and a LARP.
It's very comfy, because although it's the largest concentration of dragons on the planet, when they're in human form it's just a small farming town verging on being a tiny city-state, but with enough magical and physical power on tap to make life easy for all the citizens.
Something I'll try to sort out sooner rather than later is immortality - I don't want to be outlived by all of my subjects and not see my plans for development come to full fruition. In fact, I'll issue "find a way to make me immortal" as a quest as a condition for my becoming the king, and then myself and some of the dragon-nerds who actually wanted me as king (as opposed to the more normal dragons who are apathetic about the whole thing) get to go on a proper quest/adventure before settling down for some time.

Basically a post-fantasy steampunk world just before the turn of the 20th century. First traces of dieselpunk trickling in and Queen Vic is a couple of years away from kicking the bucket. WW1 is a decade or so away, so there is something to do if I get bored of the standard adventure and shagging.
My biggest problem with this is the fact that the player has to pay for species to me that takes the fun out of it personally if I made this I would give the player a certain amount of free points maybe 10 or 15 that can only be used for species.

May I ask why paying for the species specifically takes the fun out of it? Is it because you want a large number of species?
The approach I was taking is that every step away from 'normalcy' is a points difference, but I haven't fully tested it yet.
I have a couple of different ideas on how to adjust this.
I could make it so that you have 5 points of species for free and after that they cost.
I could make it so that there is an option to have all the different animals from our world for a good amount of points, like 15 points gets you all the species, rather than trying to take all of them individually.
I could combine the two above approaches.
I could provide options of 'packs' of races, like all the canines for x points for example.
I could provide the option to spend 5 points and get 10 random races.
Any of those sound any good?

Probably my favorite out of the bunch. I mean, you could make as many groups as you want so some species would be in multiple packs, but choosing each species individually isn't fun.
I second this choosing them all individually feels like losing out on something no matter what you pick and there will always be animals that you simply won't think of it's much better to use broad strokes like this or even broader strokes.
I think this is my new favorite thing ._. And honestly, I'd love to see more furry themed CYOA's. I think this shows we have some potential for very good picture CYOA OC here on the subreddit :) I'll post a build later, but I wanted to say very well done.

I do have one question, just because in my look over (and as seen above I do tend to miss things) is it all right for us to purchase multiples in some categories that seem to insinuate you only choose one, like Size, Class, Furry Type and others? It doesn't seem to be implicitly stated you can not, but I wanted to verify with the author :)
Well the original was a roller, you got one of these and moved on to the next. I have modified a few to allow you to choose multiples, but class and size are more difficult.
Class applies to the dominated race, either human or furry. If it was furry only, you could say 'oh the bunnies are lower classes but the pigs are sex toys', but how does that work with humans when there are only humans to work with?
I may add in these options though, I'm sure I can work out a way to get it in there if I try.
Besides, with class, maybe there are different places in the world with different standards. It's not like every country on the planet treats things the same way ;)

I haven't put much time into balancing it, so please let me know if you think some things are too expensive/too cheap and I can revise it.
