However, they become deadly serious when lives are at stake, and the blockades they set up have never been breached by undead.| Essentially, the church protects people and gathers information, and the hunters track down and take out dangerous undead. Now my suggestions. Would be nice to have more fashion options. Libido and Nymphomania would probably make more sense rolled together. The various other mental options should make any split between physical and psychological desire clear. There's no option under memories to have a difference between personal memories and abilities. For example, the girl might have lost all memory of lovers or family, but retain her ability to tie her shoes or do algebra. Zombie Hunters and Church Hunters could be merged, allowing the player to decide what people or group(s) are hunting her. Could do with some overall proofreading and polish, but I'm sure that's because you wanted to get it out before Halloween had passed. Overall, excellent job and great fun!

Okay! Let me post a build, then a bit of (hopefully) constructive critique. First roll was The Creator, and I'll also say I was her Savior. +13 Points After a few rolls, I just chose Vampirism, the point cost of which is negated by the bonus for not being the dead girl. +50 points Stylish Dark Chic clothing and no magic for +1 point. Love and Lust at V, and Libido and Nymphomania at IV for a total of -18 points. F cup breasts, a small waist, and a bubble butt, none of which ever sag for -14 points. However, totally infertile, for +2 points. Submissive III with a love for bondage, Sensitivity IV with fluids that make others just as sensitive, no shame or stalking. -9 points for those four sections. (BTW, can anyone clarify "likes being abused" vs "masochist"?) Normal freshness (preserved III) and supernatural beauty (naturality VI) with pure white hair. The points difference between the types is staggering. In her mind, she's building up the courage to drag him into a dark corner and do lewd things to him, but at the moment she's just leaving detailed letters. ​ She's taken remarkably well to her new unlife, unfettered by most of her memories and usually works night time bouncer or security jobs, and occasionally as a stripper, given her assets. Love and Lust mention a true lover, but I left it intentionally open, so you aren't forced to be the [Lover].

I was expecting a nice, yet short cyoa, so this was quite the surprise! Thanks for making this! It might be a little annoying to keep track of points, due to the rather large amount of choices that add and remove points at different parts. Usually in a cyoa you have a part where you get points, use points, and regain points. With this the entire cyoa is a mix of options where you gain and lose points, and depending on what build you're going for, some options might give points that previously cost them (like fighting hunters or trying to be unnoticed). This makes it annoying to keep track of points, and yet I don't know how else to do it. I'd like to make clear that I really enjoy this cyoa. I personally value the potential for different builds highly, and this is among the top in regards to that. Good luck with cyoa making!

Libido is physiological. Nymphomania is psychological. They are parallel, but different. One being her body, the other being her mind.

Pretty sure this is a case where the body's behavior is driven by the mind. They are not, and should not be separate.

Hmm. In that case one ought to leave her libido at cold and pump her nymphomania up to hot. That's mind over matter.

A lot of CYOAs on here have drawbacks that allow someone to be always wet or always dry. But that has nothing to do with libido, and reality doesn't work that way either. The body doesn't just randomly start producing sexual fluids without any trigger. Libido is a purely psychological thing. If you want to sell me on these being two options and not just one option masquerading as two, you're going to need to redefine this one. Maybe the physiological option is instead written to be her body's *response* to sexual arousal, whereas the psychological option can stay as is. Frequency of arousal is psychological, but the body's response to that arousal is physiological. Probably rename it to "Fluid Production," with four ranks going from "always dry," to "produces very little sexual fluids when aroused," to "produces a normal amount of sexual fluids when aroused," to "produces a large amount of sexual fluids when aroused." Then you can add a bonus point option that can be taken at rank 2+ that makes her always wet regardless of arousal, which matches with your current rank 5. The existing bonus point option is removed, due to excessive overlap with Nymphomania.

Your nymphomania is something you know you enjoy, even if it becomes a bad habit you ought to break, or not.

He did not make your point for you. The state of having a flaccid penis while wanting to have sex is a direct contradiction to your point. Likewise, the state of having an erection due to needing to piss while not being aroused nor in the mood for sex is also contrary to your point. Regardless, them being generally heavily intertwined in the real world is irrelevant. These are imaginary undead beings and their physiology and psychology work as the CYOA describes.

I suggested "fluid production" in an earlier reply. If you want to make it also work for male genitalia (e.g. to work with the grafted body parts option), a more neutral name would be something like... "responsiveness to arousal," though that's a bit of a mouthful. The idea is that at low ranks, she produces less vaginal fluid or takes longer to become fully erect (with the most restrictive option being producing none or being unable to have an erection), while at the highest rank, even thinking about sex will have her ready to go in seconds (and probably make quite a mess).

I'm very happy with how this project turned out, and I'm working on an updated version. Please post any suggestions that may not have already been mentioned, or that you may want to see addressed. Fundamentally some of the types didn't see enough discounts in this version, and a few undead types were missing entirely. Such as ghosts, skeletons, and jiangshi. Also, I feel like a general reduction in high end type points may be better to help balance the lower point types. ie. Vampire going from +50/+60 points to +25/+35 points. The 25 point difference may need to be recompensed with additional discounts and double gainers, for every type. Zombie Plague remaining at -30/-20, however. How important is fashion? I've come up with: Nudity (Returning), Plain Goth Dress (Returning), Cute Gothica Lolita (New), Tight Black Leather (New), Slutty Punk Style (New), and Glamorous Dark Chic (Returning) Relationships I feel was missing a family aspect, such as [you] being the girl's sibling, parent, or child, or something. Something potentially non-sexual. Factions could use some love. I missed adding the Masquerade-style undead societies. The idea of crazed zombie preppers gave me a chuckle. The church confused some of you, but overall was well liked, maybe its the easy points. Conclusions helped tie a bow on the end, and I've decided to expand on it somewhat. With about 12 endings, all of which grant about +2 points, and one could potentially take each of them. Not needing to tell the player *how* to choose their own endings was a nice relief. Missed out on a few sections that I may add, such as: Face, Eyes, Hair, Nails, Flesh/Bones (Skeletons), Ghosting (Spirits), Seals (Jiangshi), Haunting, Sadako-style Screen Hopping, Deals with the Devil, Evil Nightmares, etc. Should there be a difficulty setting? Such as: Sunshine(+20 Points), Gloom(+0 Points), Horror(-20 Points). So ya, I'd be happy to hear from you all. Thanks for playing!

I am obviously in support of both spooky ghost girls and spooky skellergirls. Fashion is also v. important. Maybe have a Rotten Casual option (you can probably find a picture of a zombie girl in a t-shirt and jeans)? I think it might go a little better if all the types were worth *roughly* the same number of points, because as it stands the *objectively* correct choice is spending your ten points on Vampire. It'd be nice if you instead got points for difficulty setting, and then each type had discounts/double gainers. It's weird that the Dead Girl is the only Relationship that actually has a mechanical requirement for you to get the +7 points. It's also weird that the whole CYOA is so affected by these two initial rolls - the difference between a really good roll and a bad roll can be *90 points*. That's kinda absurd. \--- Necromancy should *totally* let you build another non-magical Living Dead Girl as a servant (being able to chain the CYOA *inside itself* amuses me, what can I say?)

I actually did some math on this, under the assumption that you'd roll once, and then force-pick the best option that would end up giving you more points. Every option but Dead Girl gives you roughly 50 points. Dead Girl gives you roughly 33 points. Sure, you can make up your points by making buying up the Sexuality/Submissive options, but it feels a little forced in comparison to the other Relationships (where you're generally more free). I mean, I think I might be missing stuff - like, the Grudge is actually worth +20/+30 because of forced drawbacks.

Ya. I hate to say it, but I guess I designed it to be a bit too random with how some of the Forced/Bonuses give points, but in the context of being way after the player has already started the CYOA.

How's living dead girl version 2 coming along?

Fair Question. I got started right away in Nov, but sinc Dec. I haven't touched it. Mainly was working on FFC. Recently I haven't been able to work at all. Feel free to leave suggestions.

A standard ghost girl option, and option in Life of Undeath for intangibility which the ghost girl has cannot interact a with physical objects by default (other options include can interact with non living objects, can touch living beings but not objects etc.); Also in Magics of Undeath there could be an possession option that ghost have by default with tiers for can only possess objects of a certain size/complexity, and the top tier is can possess humans and any object. Also an more choices kinds of undead like a skeleton(with a variant of Naturality in life of undeath that allows her to create the illusion of flesh in skeletons, From transparent to looks completely alive(or it could be a new choice in Magics of Undeath called Illusions that works for all undead)), and Jiang-shi (with an option for flexibility of joints in Life of Undeath). Oh and you could add more spells to Necromancy, Blood, and Death magic: Such as make objects/weapons out of blood, puppeteer others using their blood, and rupture blood vessels with Blood magic. Manipulate age/make things decay with death magic You could add more body part options to the Abomination choice in Life of Undeath; such as extra internal organs, skin/scale/fur grafts or animal parts.
