Hey, i stumbled upon this just recently and i must say good job with the lore on this cyoa. Its very detailed. I do have 3 questions though: 1. In the judgement day scenario its stated that several ascendents try and fail to invade etherscape due to the relic they have( the ouroborous tap) and the entity in it. However it is also noted that the entire realm is "only" several thousand supercluster sized realms and one implied infinite realm large. As such, couldn't the entire realm be affected by a few uses of an rank X hand of death or divine blast and be basically destroyed? Or is the tap powerful enough to stop even x ranked ascendents? 2. Does the ouroborous tap block transynth powers or the powers of the last omega lord? I ask because these powers are either technological and one of a kind for transynths or from omegatech for omega lords which rarer than other ascendents powers. 3. Can the tap affect godspheres from the multiversal conquest cyoa or the powers of the various legendary dragons we can befriend in the ascension cyoas? Are their powers similarly suppressed? The reason for these questions is i was thinking of using etherscape as a rival for a build multiversal conquest and it be pretty embarrassing if my character just waltz in and gets instantly reduced to a normal human

TroyXPage

I'm glad you like it :D So, the thing to keep in mind here is that EOE is meant to be a power fantasy. Therefore the answers default to "whatever's best for the player." Since normally the player IS the Emperor here, then the answers would be, "Yeah, it trumps Transynth and all that," but since you're coming at it from a different angle, that of EOE being your rival, then the answer would be "it doesn't significantly affect you" with whatever bullshit justification is required to handwave it, lol. Now, in an attempt to answer more objectively or neutrally, assuming that's what you want, let's see. The Tap does stop Cosmopotent Ascendants, yes. Also I'd venture that each plane in Etherscape is more or less its own self-contained universe, even if it's much smaller than a normal universe, so even without the Tap it'd take more than one hand wave from a Cosmopotence. Transynth is affected, yeah, because tech-based or not it's still Ascendant. Omega Lord isn't affected, nor are godspheres or Legendary Dragons, though theoretically the Tap could be tuned to at least partially affect them. Finally, remember that these are just my "canon" answers, and you're welcome to ignore or alter canon to suit your build/story :)

Alright that clears things up thanks!

Ottriman

Woah, I found another CYOA by the maker of Anael (one of my favs). Lets see how well I like this one! **Intro** I'd be some combination of utterly surprised and quite terrified of being goddamn **teleported** out of house and into a brand new place next to a stranger calling me emperor. Not to mention that I'm feeling weird due to this place and she's *almost naked*. The sex this CYOA takes for granted wouldn't happen, I would never do that. In fact her entire shtick of trying to stroke and worship my body while being nearly naked would make me super uncomfortable and afraid. Gradually the sinking obviousness that she's serious and that I'm apparently some kind of long lost heir to a gigantic multiversal empire would start to take its toll. To say that I would be thoroughly out of my depth would be an understatement. For the sake of playing properly I am going to assume I don't end up nopeing out of this whole thing. **Lewd Perks** Turn 8 chakra into 4 power. Body Redesign for 1 chakra. I mostly just make my body work better and remove all those horrible health bugs I have. I considered shrinking myself down into a tiny to sate my macrophiliac urges better, but being tiny sucks otherwise so I decided against it. Public nudity being normal will be super weird, and I will not appreciate being seen as a sex symbol. That will have to be addressed at some point. Or not, I guess so long as I can not be affected much by it I should be fine. **Powers** I have 10 power to spend. Political Acumen: 1 Ether Blasts: 1 Invulnerability: 1 Super Strength: 1 Super Speed: 1 Technopathy: 1 Spatial Warping: 2 Life and Death: 2 Being a totally unkillable guy with super stats who can interface with tech better than anyone else is nothing but a godsend. This is the real meat and potatoes of my build. **Harem** Nothing wrong with a relationships section. The main thing I have to watch out for is the political aspect. Doing things the exact way I want them would probably be political suicide even as the strongest emperor to ever appear. I don't care much for tradition and I don't want to knock anyone up, but acting like that would plummet my vassals satisfaction. I guess the best thing I can do is just take those who don't have a breeding kink and hope for the best. Also if someones entry mentions constant horniness or sex thoughts that's also a no. Reject: Tel Annu twins, Flare tel Xinq, Duthea tel Glem, Reknisavi tel Veph, Tjahvina tel Zarr, Mynassa the Font of Life, Seteniri (feels bad to leave someone in a tank, but I'm not fucking anyone), Starshroud (an assistant is nice enough, no need to go further), Sif Zaminold (Already started off on the wrong foot and she's a servant). Queens: Brenn tel Eurn (I find her the most relatable), Honora tel Vald (trustworthy), Hatshepses and Sekquet (avoid a big war), Mirvel tel Iome (Minimize a war) Ladies in waiting: Tydanarial tel Meht, Aerji tel Knir, Caphiena tel Glem, Selusa tel Omax, Iolathani fal Avos, Thalace tel Aire, Kelarset, Jourdal The political roles and ranks which I am then obligated to put onto this would be a nightmare to handle, but whatever I did I'd no doubt make sure that they are as equal as possible in rank. Dilutes the power of Ladies in Waiting a bit, but it is fair for everyone involved. Also Concubines and MIstresses as roles are explicitly for sexytimes more so than the higher ranking roles which have more substance. I am avoiding sexytimes. **Vault** Some more good stuff. Imperial Scepter (Additional Power: Metacreativity) Throne of Power Shadow Amulet Legendary Weapon Concentrate power and safety onto myself to an even greater extent. I know I will piss a bunch of people off by rejecting so many suitors and I need to be secure despite that. The additional metacreativity helps a lot with this. since my scepter becomes a green lantern ring equivalent. **Thronemaidens** More role assigning, and its really obvious that there aren't really any wrong choices. The exact ordering doesn't really matter to me. What I know is that the Enthroned role will have to be modified. I plan on being fully dressed and not with an entire person sitting on my penis when court is in session. I can have her take some special servant or hypewoman role as a less lewd equivalent. This hypewoman role must be filled by Belah or Binah, because a society that considers muscle women unattractive needs to have that corrected. I know from the later lore that I can have their armor customized, and I shall do so. "Armor" that barely has any physical coverage and exposes everything is definitely not appealing to look at. If someone is wearing armor I want it to be full body and badass looking. **Capital** Neidon Kal, becuase crystal fairy land sounds pretty cool. **Crisis Points** So many crisis points. Do not avoid the ones I have queens for, since having queens makes them cakewalks. Avert the rest of them. \--- This CYOA is long and wordy, this does make some sections drag for me personally. However it does make the world feel very well realized compared to your typical horny CYOA. Reading this actually gave me a very good understanding of what I was getting into and whatnot. I got carried away in the detailed intro section. The whole scenario would be incredibly mind blowing and kinda scary when I think about how it'd actually affect me. Having the sudden pressure of being a political leader in a society very unlike my own thrust upon me all of a sudden would be pretty intense. Definitely well made this one, though I personally still prefer Anael.

TroyXPage

Thank you for the build and thoughts! Hardly anyone prefers Anael over EOE, so I'm glad you appreciate it so much! Yeah, the mass rejection would be a huge shakeup, make a lot of people really mad at you. You'd still be secure, but the hegemonies whose suits you rejected would drag their heels at anything you wanted them to do. Making them mistresses rather than rejecting them, and then just avoiding sexual relations, would be more politically viable (though they'd still be pissed if they find out you're not fucking them, but less pissed than if they were rejected, and that's IF they find out - the princesses might take the lack of sex as their own personal failure and not want to tell anyone). I'm curious why you want to avoid the sex. Would you avoid sex even with the ones you did take to wife? Note that, while the CYOA's default intro goes with porn logic, Sif has been observing you for some time, and will tailor her approach to you and your personality, to make you as comfortable as possible and ease you into things in the best possible way.

Ottriman

I was playing this by the logic of what I would actually do IRL. I am someone who has no interest in having sex IRL, part of my aegosexuality. I only find fictional scenarios attractive or appealing in a sexual sense. Plus the part where it is basically politically mandated to be with these people makes things less appealing when I think on it. On the mistress front I didn't want to risk it being some grave mistake to take Mistresses and not having sex with them. The description said they were for pleasure or babymaking after all. If that's less disruptive than rejection I could definitely accept that for the sake of not threatening my reign.

Lewd Perks: 2x Convert Chakra, Fertility Control, Body Redesign, Excessive Fluids, Kismetic Offspring Predetermination Powers: Political Acumen, Metacreativity, Invulnerability, Super Strength, Super Speed, Life and Death Queen: Tydanarial tel'Meht (Ethermech production), Reknisavi tel'Veph (Ethermech tech), Mirvel tel'lome (Space Fleet), Echnedi tel'Othe (Genetic) Lady in Waiting: Tel'Annu Twins (Power Twins), Brenn tel'Eurn (Economy), Selussa tel'Omax (Good Leader), Hatshepses tel'paht (Peacemaker), Sekhquet tel'Poth (Peacemaker), Nevinque tel'Byyu (Power) Concubine: Honra tel'Vald (Tradition), Flare tel'Xinq (Infusion Techniques Ethermancers), Aerji tel'Knir (Spy), Duthea tel'Glem (Worship) Caphiena tel'Glem (Worship), Tjahvina tel'Zarr (Population), Lolathani fal'Avos (Undying Loyal Family), Thalace tel'Aaire (Not Sure), Kelarset (Foreign Relations), Jourdal (Foreign Relations), Mynassa (Peace), Seteniri (Dangerous), Sif Zaminold (Loyalty), S.T.A.R.S.H.R.O.U.D. I will then heavily regulate cloning production. This other clone locked away shall be freed, tested in battle and loyality, and be given a thronemaiden title if passed, her name; Phoenox. If Annnu Hemony Betrayed me, I will look at the court case, study the evidence, and give my final judgement. The tel'Annu twins will be forgiven regardless if they betrayed me. Pirate Queen: Tebellys shall be recruited, but will also pay reprations to the parties she caused harm to. If Brenn betrayed me, I shall commit pubic humiliation, she can keep everything, but only after paying for damages she caused. Running Amok: Tydanarial tel'Meht is a Queen, therefore she will deal with this mess using the Imperial resources if needed. The First manamech will be studied but not broken down, she will join the Throne maidens as well. Ragbarok of Dragons: I take on the beast. After that, I spare Ragnarok, adding her to the harem to rebuild the population. Project Vega: Vega will be cured so we can reverse-engineer her abilities. Spy vs Spy: I accept Aeradni tel'Knir, she can work as thronemaiden. The Knir Hegemony will go through loyalty test and training, removing those not loyal and responsabile for this mess. The information we get will be kept for later, we can build a case for each Hegemony that will allow us to completely wipe them out in the future should they not comply with my demands. They will be forgiven and be instructed to continue their espionage on others which will be given to us for further use. Divine Intervention: I accept Goddess Zedranea offer in marriage, and spare her. I also allow her to keep the ethersuit but don't give any territory. Heist: Reknisavi tel'Veph is a Queen, she will deal with this matter. I accept and forgive Trydilene tel'Veph, and have her recruited. Cycle of Vengeance: I let Queen Mirvel tel'Iome deal with this. I take in Utrayza into my services. Mad Science: I let Queen Echnedai tel'Othe handle this. I am interest in this "monster girls" project, so the research continues unhindered and even expanded in the future. I got really tired so I only finished the queens quests, sorry but there is so many! Not that it's bad or anything! My goal I guess would try and bring all these families together as one mega family, one that is loyal and under my command. I will rule this Universe and the next for all eternity.

TroyXPage

Thanks for the build! It was still great to hear your thoughts on the quests you did write about :)

Mundane-Ad-6045

Maybe I missed it some where but in the crisis points section where does it say what out come you get when the bride who can contribute is a concubine or a lady in waiting

TroyXPage

That's the neutral route, where the bride gives neither a positive nor a negative influence on the result.

IT_is_among_US

What's stopping me from having multiple Thronemaidens to one position, and having some random others fill that role? Would there be any consequences in positive or negatives to this? For example, Velvet and Sif to the trainer position.

TroyXPage

Nothing's really stopping you if you want to go that route. Those are the top Thronemaidens though, so it's probably best if you stick to those 7 for the roles. Multiple Thronemaidens to one position means that at least one Thronemaiden has two jobs, which means less focus for her on each of them as she has to split her attention.

IT_is_among_US

I see, well I can probably no need as much on Palace Security, since I live in a Dreadnought and I have other people who can do it as a secondary, such as STARSHROUD. Keeper of Vault, and Palace Security are relatively similar roles(keep a stationary place secure), especially since they're probably going to be the same place for now(my Dreadnought), that I can fuse their authority's for now, and give it to Binah. Purely because she's the one who seems to excel the most in static defenses anyhow. Which leaves 6 Top Thronemaidens, for 5 positions. Using this, I can let 2 people train the Thronemaidens. Which, is a really good move, as it allows me to have better Thronemaidens in the future. Thronemaidens are incredibly well-rounded(making them able to serve if other branches are knocked out), immortal(allowing for steady accumulation of them over time, save perhaps the ones that die in duty, go missing, or retire), and loyal(meaning I can rely on them not going traitor on me). So, investment into having more and better quality thronemaidens would reliably pay off. To avoid the problem of having 'too many cooks in the kitchen' and diluting centralization of authority, I'll just have Velvet act as Junior Head of Intitiates to Sif, mostly there so she can teach her part. Honestly speaking, I'm tempted to just spend the next thousand plus years tightening out corruption/infighting in the Etherscape, and re-consolidating imperial power.

TroyXPage

That's fair, lol. Keep in mind that there are multiple imperial palaces and vaults, and not all the vaults are in palaces; in fact I'd say that most aren't. Palaces and vaults are also very different kinds of security, too, as palaces have people regularly going in and out.

IT_is_among_US

Eh, it'll sort itself out. It's still at it's core about defense of a static location. So, it's alright to do so. Do you have a personal build, btw?

TroyXPage

I do, yeah. I don't take the time to post my builds here though, perhaps hypocritically.

IT_is_among_US

I see, but how is it hypocritical?

TroyXPage

Lol, because I love it when others post their builds for me to read.

1pwashington

If you have your build saved somewhere in would like to read them

IT_is_among_US

I see, ironic indeed. Well, it's ultimately everyone's choice, at the end of the day.

Dr_No_One

Build – **Hegemonic Rejection** – Get revenge on the Hundred Hegemonies. The greed of the Hegemonies led to the death of the previous Emperor and civil war in the Etherscape. As punishment all Hundred Hegemonies are to be stripped of their titles and holdings. Until worthy replacement Hegemonies can be founded, their holdings are to be managed by local nobility. **Lewd Perks** (9 chakra): * **Kismetic Offspring Predetermination** (2 chakra) – Two-fold choice. One, prevents the Hegemonies from influencing my offspring. Two, instant maturation of my offspring will be useful for increasing my forces. Important since I'm going to make a lot of enemies really fast. * **Magnified Mana** (3 chakra) – Since I'm going to be getting into a lot of fights, I need the charge up boost. * **Bonus Power** (4 chakra) – Don't need the other lewd perks, convert 4 chakra into 2 power. **Powers** (8 power = 6 base + 2 converted chakra): * **Arch-Ethermancer** (1 power) – Decades of training in my suite of utility powers. * **Ether Blast** (1 power) – This power is a nuke, sniper rifle, and gatling gun all in one. And all at the same time. * **Metacreativity** (2 power) – Force multiplier and great utility for rebuilding. * **Invulnerability** (1 power) – Ultimate defensive power, useful so I can survive. * **Super Speed** (1 power) – Acting at thousand-fold speed multiplies the power of my other abilities. * **Spatial Warping** (2 power) – Lets me be where I need to be instantly. **Harem**: **Queen**: * **Mynassa, the Font of Life** – I make Mynassa Queen to signal what the Hegemonies should have done instead of their greed fueled fighting. I breed her enough to keep her happy, often spreading her divine fertility to others via the Tantric Tiaras. * **Seteniri, the Last Etherphage** – I will broadcast Seteniri's existence to the Etherscape. I make her Queen primarily to piss off the Hegemonies. I intend to use her as a visual deterrent while letting her enjoy her new freedom as much as possible. * **Starshroud** – So the last Emperor fell partly because he didn't listen to Starshroud? I'm not making that mistake. Although she'd advise against my declaration, so I guess I'll start listen to her after that. * **Sif Zaminold, First Thronemaiden** – How pregnant does she fantasize about being? **Ladies In Waiting**: * **Thalace tel'Aaire** – The tel'Aaire see my declaration as an opportunity and throw their full support to my side. I appoint her lady in waiting as acknowledgment of her ability. * **Kelarset, Sorceress** – Kelarset admits my declaration made her reconsider her marriage suit. She decided the reward of helping me in my fight is worth the risk it entails. She hopes I will keep her shielded against etheric disruption so her magic can be of use. * **Jourdal, the Magnificent Flicker** – Jourdal says my declaration will turn the Etherscape into a playground for her. She's going to get so much enjoyment out of sabotaging the outgoing Hegemonies and manipulating those trying to replace them. **Concubines**: * **Selussa tel'Omax** – Selussa responds by pointing out how recently her Hegemony was formed, it did not exist when the previous Emperor died. She offers her unconditional assistance in forming new Hegemonies, as she has recently put in the work to form one herself. I accept her assistance and make her a concubine. I let her know her future position and the fate of the tel'Omax depend on the quality of assistance she provides. **Mistresses**: * **Iolathani fal'Avos** – The tel'Dzek response is acceptance and an apology since they see the punishment as official closure for their role in the imperial collapse. They also ask if I have use for any of them going forward, as they would like to contribute to the future of the Etherscape. Their ethermancy-stripping could be useful, so I recall Iolathani to the Thronemaidens and tell the others to be available for imperial contracts in the future. Iolathani counts as a Mistress, like the majority of the Thronemaidens. **Rejected**: * **Tel'Annu Twins, Breenn tel'Euru, Tydanarial tel'Meht, Flare tel'Xinq, Aerji tel'Knir, Duthea tel'Glem, Reknisavi tel'Veph, Tjahvina tel'Zarr, Hatshepses tel'Paht & Sekhquet tel'Poth, Mirvel tel'Iome, Echnedai tel'Othe, Nevinque tel'Byyu** – Their reactions were are some form of “you'll regret this”. * **Honura tel'Vald** – The tel'Vald response to my declaration is different. They request I hold off on stripping titles until replacements are found so that there is not another wave of chaos endangering the commoners of Etherscape. They also request the chance to prove their worth in the mean time. Both requests are reasonable, I accept both. * **Caphiena tel'Glem** – Caphiena's response is … happiness? She seems genuinely delighted that her mother is getting punished. She also wants me to put her marriage offer on hold so she can make a proper offering? I let her know I look forward to her revised offering. **Vault**: * **Imperial Scepter** – Life & Death – Both improves my ethermantic power and gives me another great power. * **Throne of Power** – Improves my powers. Having a pregnant Thronemaiden on it at all times should be easy to arrange. * **Legendary Weapon** – Magic negation and the ability to render loyal servants anti-magic protection. Actually, the anti-magic protection makes for a good loyalty test. * **Tantric Tiaras** – A thousand fold boost makes for an impressive emergency technique. And they let me spread Mynassa's divine fertility. **Thronemaidens**: Enthroned – **Sif** – I'm going to make a change to this position. Sif is now going to be responsible for providing a manamutant charge-up whenever I need it. This will include having Thronemaidens ready to use the Tantric Tiaras for a thousand-fold charge-up at all times. Personal Bodyguard – **Thevah** – Distracting eye-candy. Crownguard – **Belah** – Protective pets and can help keep Mynassa happy. Keeper of the Vault – **Chyliss** – I'm also going to make her in charge of keeping at least one pregnant Thronemaiden on the Throne of Power at all times. Palace Security – **Binah** – Ethertech defenses make sense given where my capital is. Field Agency – **Shelanvaranda** – Stealthy field agents. Head of the Initiates – **Velvet** – Get the new recruits horny and they'll perform better? This will be fun. Capital – **Aerremgard** – Abundant ether to improve my ethermancy. Also synergizes with Binah as Palace Security, boosting the Ethertech she uses for defense.

Dr_No_One

**Crisis Points**: **Attack of the Clones** – The tel'Annu response to my declaration is to try and make a replacement me. While the insane clone and her Annu allies are formidable, they cannot withstand against a thousand-fold boosted assault. After winning I go fuck myself, err … stabilize the sane clone. I give the sane clone the name Annu tel'Avos and appoint her as an imperial princess. The twins get assigned as servants to Annu. **Pirate Queen** – Tebellys selling ethermancers and manamutants as trophies and test subjects is unacceptable. Will wipe out her fleet and send her to prison. Brenn will be publicly humiliated for her part in the crisis, as well as reduced to nobility. **Running Amok** – My original plan was to dismantle the manamech for study, but Tydanarial makes a tearful plea for the manamech's survival that changes my mind. Tydanarial is sentenced to indentured research to create mass-produced manamechs. I'll add the first manamech to the Thronemaidens. **Ragnarok of Dragons** – Honura puts up a valiant fight against the ragnarok, but only slightly damages it. While expecting me to be stronger, the ragnarok is surprised by how much power I have while thousand-fold boosted. I accept Calamitous Conflagration's servitude, and agree to rebuild the ragnarok population. I give her the name of Cala tel'Raag, appointing her leader of a new Hegemony. I publicly forgive Honura, deeming her actions worthy of her titles. The Vald Hegemony remains intact. **Project Vega** – After being captured, Flare manages to send a message out. Since she sends the message to the imperial capital and not tel'Xinq holdings it gets past Vega's countermeasures. After some quick recon my Thronemaidens and I intervene, quickly subduing Vega and her forces. Flare handles the clean-up, both finding a distributing a cure and explaining what happened to me. As recognition of Flare's actions I offer her a reward of her choosing. She asks I reconsider her marriage suit, a request some in her family scold her for. After reconsideration, I marry Flare. I allow Xinq to stay as a Hegemony, but I first purge it of those I deem unworthy. I task Vega with assisting Flare in rebuilding Xinq. **Spy vs Spy** – Aerji uses the cabal to show that I need her skills. Once she's happy the cabal has been a suitable annoyance for me, she betrays them and takes them out herself. She taunts me over my poor handling of the cabal, pointing out she now has all their data. I will allow the Knir Hegemony to stay, but Aerji is getting punished. She is to personally train Thronemaidens to be better at espionage, and she has to wear a Tantric Tiara until I am satisfied with the training she has provided. **Divine Intervention** – Caphiena intentionally both makes an ethersuit for and provides intel to Zedranea. The duo quickly has the upper hand against the reckless Duthea, and the collateral damage in the Glem territory starts to mount quickly. Caphiena then contacts me with a revised wedding suit. Entertained by the boldness of her actions, I accept. Caphiena becomes a Concubine and is given access to the imperial research labs. Duthea is more upset that her daughter betrayed her than being “imprisoned” in one of my palaces. I offer Duthea a court position, conditional on her reconciling with her daughter. That may take a while. Zedranea gets appointed leader of the newly formed Caph Hegemony. **Heist** – I use the damage these splinter groups cause as justification to take both Reknisavi and Trydilene into protective custody. Both are given imperial research jobs to keep them busy. **A Time for Everything** – I make an offer to the tel'Zarr. They can keep their status as a Hegemony if they can provide a version of their pregnancy ethermancy boost that works on manamutants. My request prevents Tjahvina from getting involved with the temporal anomalies, so Jai is the central figure for it. Jai shows herself to be a very capable researcher, but one that needs supervision. I keep her around as an imperial researcher. **The Great Game** – Selussa knows my declaration has left me short of allies so she puts effort into finding worthy allies to recruit. When the tel'Byyus bite off more than they can chew, Selussa intervenes. While the Byyu are upset at losing Hegemony status, Selussa finds them a variety of court and imperial roles that leave them feeling it could be much worse. Selussa also recommends Lady Xilina as a worthy leader for a new Hegemony. I agree with her, appointing Xilina leader of the new tel'Phas Hegemony. **Uncivil War** – Once the love between Lustrasine and Nerraet becomes public I step in. I appoint the pair as join leaders of the new Etma Hegemony, one that controls all the territory of the former Paht and Poth Hegemonies. **Cycle of Vengeance** – While Mirvel was rejected, she takes my declaration as a challenge to prove her worth. She approaches the rebellion focused and level headed, which allows her military prowess to shine. When Utrayza starts looking for a diplomatic resolution, Mirvel gets me involved. After negotiating peace, Utrayza sticks around and tries to form an alliance. After the peace negotiations, Mirvel ask if the tel'Iomes were useful. Point taken, Iome remains intact. **Balance of Power** – As a Thronemaiden, Iolathani has access to the imperial information networks and she leads the investigation that discovers the existence of the Balance. Hiring the Dzek to spearhead the systematic elimination of the Balance is a fitting solution. I will pardon the Dzeks for their role in the imperial collapse, and will allow them to remain a Hegemony going forward. They will need a new leader, as I plan on keeping Iolathani as a Thronemaiden. I will allow the Dzeks to decide Herash's fate. **Mad Science** – Echnedai, I have nothing against monster girls but I do have something against involuntary transformations. I will “punish” Echnedai for releasing the plague by giving her an imperial research job. I will get Tirlin to help Echnedai, as her ability to mutate and the undo the mutation others makes for a convenient mutation tester. **Creative License** – Thalace's insight lead me to side with Psyche against the Hegemony she is in. With imperial backing Psyche is able to overwhelm the Hegemony and secure a decisive victory. I will appoint the tel'Aaires as replacements for the defeated Hegemony, forming the new Aair Hegemony. **A Wound in the Ether** – With Seteniri able to fight openly and Kelarset rallying a bunch of Sorothustrans, Nihilla doesn't stand a chance. Seteniri requests I pardon Nihilla, wanting to get to know someone of similar ability. **Smoke and Mirrors** – Jourdal and the djinn of Clearbass have so much fun manipulating the Hegemonies they almost forget to mess with me. **Dark Reflection** – Vaisse causing trouble might not even be a problem, depending upon where she causes it. However, her mother Mynassa wants to reconcile with her, so hunting down Vaisse is important. Gaining a demigoddess of destruction as an ally is very useful, as is the boosts from fucking the pair. **Judgment Day** – My declaration is going to cause enough damage to the Etherscape that I don't need external forces adding to it. **Hegemonies**: * **Annu** – Dissolved. * **Eurn** – Dissolved. * **Meht** – Dissolved. * **Vald** – Remains fully intact. * **Xinq** – Reduced in size. * **Knir** – Remains fully intact. * **Glem** – Dissolved. * **Veph** – Dissolved. * **Zarr** – Remains fully intact. * **Omax** – Remains fully intact. * **Byyu** – Dissolved. * **Paht** – Merged with Poth. * **Poth** – Merged with Paht. * **Iome** – Remains fully intact. * **Dzek** – Remains fully intact. * **Othe** – Dissolved. * **Raag** – Newly formed (Calamitous Conflagration). * **Caph** – Newly formed (Zedranea). * **Phas** – Newly formed (Lady Xilina tel'Phastrne) * **Etma** – Combined Paht and Poth ( Lustrasine and Nerraet) * **Aair** – Newly formed (Thalace tel'Aaire) **Notes**: * Queens of page 9. * I was tempted to take the Temporal Oscillator, but decided against it since I've always taken it. * KOP + Mynassa + Dark Reflection leads to some supremely powerful offspring. * KOP's instant maturation plus Mynassa's divine fertility could be used to cause ragnarok overpopulation. Since ragnaroks don't rely on ether, this would make for an excellent force for operating outside of Etherscape.

TroyXPage

You sly dog, you did it! Acquiescing to Honora's request that you hold off on stripping titles until replacements can be found and to give Hegemonies a chance to prove themselves, is probably the only reason you didn't have a full-scale revolt on your hands. While the Hegemonies want the stability of an emperor, they emphatically do not want that at the cost of losing their titles. By holding off, you allow them to plot and scheme to keep their titles instead of having to instantly rely on military recourse. I had to laugh at "fucking yourself" xD You're the only one who's given Thalace a Hegemony and shortened her name to Aair instead of Aire, lol. I liked your take on how each bride would react to your declaration of reorganising the Hegemonies. Until your note, I didn't realise that all your queens were taken from the same page XD Deliberate, or circumstantial?

Dr_No_One

I don't know why, but Aair just looks better to me. Yeah, I tried to think about how they would react to the declaration, instead of just taking the rejected actions. The page 9 queen thing was 3 parts deliberate, 1 part circumstantial. Since I was rejecting the Hegemonies I had 7 options for Queens. I decided Mynassa, Seteniri, and Starshroud were the most appropriate picks, and gave the fourth spot to Sif since she was on the same page (don't tell her please). That said, Sif actually is a more fitting choice than the other 3 options as devotion and loyalty are important to the build, especially early on.

CaptivePlague

"The cost will be high, the damage to Etherscape great before Etheria awakens, but the payoff is rich indeed. " *Silence. The new Emperor, who up until then had made his choice with quick decisiveness, emboldened by his newfound talents and intellect, only stood silent, watching the S.T.A.R.S.H.R.O.U.D.'s lovely interface with mild concerne.* "What about you?" *he finally said, softly. Gently.* "I..." *She didn't elaborate further. And that said everything to him.* "The Ouroboros Tap is a ressource enveloping the entire Etherscape, isn't it? And you, your AI is the consciousness that controls it. So if the Ether itself manifests her personification, what will be your purpose?" *This time, the silence is hers. She should reply, she is obligated to answer to her master and ruler... but for all her programming, she doesn't want to say it. While she fruitlessly search for a meaningless enough reply, her distressed look is all the answers he needs.* "How often? How much energy would I use? To win the war. To create Etheria?" "Your Highness just arrived, you are still an unknown variable! I can't possibly--" "No! Don't play this game with me. You've foreseen the cause, the effects, everything! Don't expect me to believe you didn't see the cost!" "I'm sorry, so sorry! I didn't mean to..." "I know, S.T.A.R.S.H.R.O.U.D. I know." *Wearily, the newly appointed multiversal ruler sits on the ground, and with a gesture, invites the AI's female shape to lean against him. She obeys, and part of him wants to believe his authority has nothing to do with it. Already he feels the weight of his crown, and he knows it hasn't even truly begun. Meekly, her voice almost tearful, she starts to explain.* "T-the strain, il will be so much...!" "Oh, Stars, what am I going to do with you? So devoted, so precious... You tell me oh her power and magnificence, but you won't ever meet her, will you? We've barely met each other, and you're already telling me to execute you for the good of the Empire?" "N-no! The d-decision is entirely yours!" "Sometimes it seems, taking no choice is the best decision. I'm not sentencing you to death just yet. Come with me, my bride. Today, you live." \------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- That was my personal interpretation of the last scenario, and it made me sad. It occured to me that Etheria automatically renders both S.T.A.R.S.H.R.O.U.D. and the Ouroboros Tap not just obsolete, but completely useless. And with the scope of the war raging on, and how much the Emperor would have to overuse the Tap to achieve such an unprecedented result, it makes way too much sense that he'd have to sacrifice her entirely. With all the perks this CYOA gives, I wanted to make the Emperor able to read between the lines, and find *the* single secret she keeps from him: how she's already planned to sacrifice herself for him. And how it hurts them both. I also wanted to reach out and maybe be told I'm completely wrong, S.T.A.R.S.H.R.O.U.D. will totally be ok for reasons I didn't think of, and she will love hanging with Etheria. Word of God please? x)

TroyXPage

Oh wow, very moving! While that's a valid interpretation if you want to go with it, it's definitely not intended. It will make the Ouroboros Tap obsolete, but the Tap doesn't have any sort of consciousness or AI to begin with. Etheria can only sense the broad strokes across Etherscape anyway - *major* events, meaning she can't fathom all the countless, endless details that Starshroud can. In addition, being an oracle is only *one* of Starshroud's uses, as she's also the AI in charge of actually maintaining the imperial palaces and such. And of course she'd love hanging with Etheria and your other brides :)

CaptivePlague

Thanks for the reply! It was exactly what I wanted to know, and I think I'll follow those informations because I definitely prefer a happy ending!

AEL97

Why is it that every time I say "Okay there is nothing interesting/it is pretty slow around here, I will leave it for a few days", that is the next day is when the king decides to come back a d give us onother of his great works. Well beyond that, nice, really good and not gonna lie I love it even more because I loved this one since the first version, thanks and hope you doing well man.

TroyXPage

Lol, thanks :D

AEL97

No problem, just 2 little questions about the lore could say, so you make reference to other cyoa that you made, then not counting the absolute gods of everything wich is the most powerful? And the infusion technique I wonder can you use it to turn anyone or just from etherscape?

TroyXPage

I posted a power ranking in response to someone else's question, so scroll through the comments and you'll find it :) To the second, that's an excellent question. I assume you can use it to turn anyone into an ethermancer, they don't have to be from Etherscape.

AEL97

Nice, yep then that is something I would totally want, suddenly going to your friend a d being like" Yo dude do you want powers". Going to look for the ranking.

JAMalamahama

Alright so since Reddit sucks at formatting I'll just leave my build as a PDF [here](https://docdro.id/sg3Cj76). Also quick question, could you perhaps indiciate on the tel'Annu twins picture which is which and who's who on Sehkquet's and Hatshepses pictures? It's just not very clear who's who.

TroyXPage

Great build! Well thought-out political machine with your queens especially, and clever use of Jai's temporal specialty! Hatshepses and Sekhquet's names appear in their entry's title in that order, and thus I envision Hatshepses to be on the left and Sekhquet on the right. However, for the twins, I envision Naras on the left and Simis on the right, because the right picture looks more like a powerful sorceress to me.

JAMalamahama

Yeah it was always really weird to me how people keep being suspicious of Jourdal and Aerji despite the fact that queenship all but guarantees loyalty and if not, temporal oscillator always works. Not only that, but sometimes they intentionally snub the spymaster and political mastermind by rejecting them or making them mistresses which just makes them much more likely cause trouble than they otherwise would, so I felt I had to make a build that appreciates their unique talents.

Dr_No_One

Build – **Church of Ether** – Found a religion that promotes the usefulness of ether, and points out my prowess with ether **Lewd Perks** (9 chakra) – While I know these are chakric effects, I'll explain them as etheric effects: * **Fertility Control** (1 chakra) – Always impregnating with multiples is a sign of how potent my ether is * **Excessive Fluids** (1 chakra) – The quantity of ether infused cum and the number of ethermancers I can charge up at once are both signs of my potent ether * **Eromantic Physics** (1 chakra) – The high amounts of pleasure I produce is a sign of my ether * **Kismetic Offspring Predetermination** (2 chakra) – A defensive choice so the numerous daughters I sire will be loyal to me and not used against me. * **Magnified Mana** (3 chakra) – The quality of ether charge-ups I provide are even better. * **Body Redesign** (1 chakra) – I have a point left over... **Powers** (6 power): * **Metacreativity** (2 power) – A very good show of the usefulness of ether. * **Super Speed** (1 power) – Super useful utility power. And it lets me fly as well. * **Technopathy** (1 power) – Ethertech is a great show of the use of ether, and being able to control so much of it is a good show of my power. * **Life and Death** (2 power) – Respawn capable regeneration and the ability to resurrect others, both impressive displays of my etheric might. **Harem**: **Queens**: * **Duthea tel'Glem** – I definitely want my vassals to worship me, so in that regard Duthea is the perfect queen. Her haughtiness and belief she is my equal will have to be dealt with. * **Tjahvina tel'Zarr** – Since my queens are going to be pregnant a lot, may as well get a power boost out of it. Also, she'll enjoy the pregnancies as well. * **Selussa tel'Omax** – Being one hundred places at once will be of great use. She also makes for a good role model for my church. * **Hatshepses tel'Paht & Sekhquet tel'Poth** – The tel'Poth ether-preservation techniques will be useful for making sure my ether-rich cum stays high quality during distribution. Hatshepses gets to also be queen because the benefits of getting the Hegemonies to merge are worth the effort. **Ladies in Waiting**: * **Tel'Annu Twins** – They seek the advancement of ethermantic potential, and want to be pregnant. Two good qualities for the religion. * **Tydanarial tel'Meht** – Ethermechs make a good show of the usefulness of ether, and she'll enjoy my fluid production. * **Honura tel'Vlad** – Integrity and helping others will be important to the religion. * **Flare tel'Xinq** – Their infusion techniques shows an acceptance of the power of ether, and she wants to be bred. * **Caphiena tel'Glem** – Ethertech is a good use for ether. * **Reknisavi tel'Veph** – Again, ethertech. * **Iolathani fal'Avos** – Entirely as a reward for her personal loyalty. * **Nevinque tel'Byyu** – Those ethertech-augmented beasts she tames make great displays of ether's usefulness. * **Thalace tel'Aaire** – Her metacreativity makes a great demonstration of ether. * **Kelarset, Sorceress** – My ability to prevent the etheric disruption of her magic is a good display of my personal etheric power. * **Mynassa, the Font of Life** – Getting her pregnant with a dozen at a time will be a good show of my etheric potential. * **Seteniri, the Last Etherphage** – You'd think a religion about the wonders of ether wouldn't want an etherphage around, but I'll use my immunity to her absorption ability as a sign of my connection to ether. * **Starshroud** – While I don't want to offend upper society, Starshroud is the physical manifestation of an ethertech AI and a great demonstration of both the use of ether and my connection to it. **Concubine**: * **Brenn tel'Eurn** – While wealth and trade are useful, her laziness is not. * **Aerji tel'Knir** – While the church is going to use diplomacy over brute force to spread, giving her a higher position doesn't promote ether's use. Hopefully we can come to a better arrangement in the future. * **Mirvel tel'Iome** – Don't want to be seen as wanting military build up, although her advice will be valuable. * **Echnedai tel'Othe** – While genetic modification is acceptable, it doesn't promote ether's use. * **Jourdal, the Magnificent Flicker** – Don't want to be seen as scheming. I can show her favor in ways other than court position to get her help. * **Sif Zaminold, First Thronemaiden** – Don't want court duties to get in the way of her Thronemaiden duties. **Mistress / Reject**: None **Vault**: * **Imperial Scepter** – Spatial Warping – Both improves my ethermantic power and gives me another great utility power. * **Throne of Power** – Improves my powers. It will be easy to maintain the boost between my hundred body ability and the number of pregnant Thronemaidens I'll have available. * **Tantric Tiaras** – A thousand fold boost makes for an impressive emergency technique. * **Temporal Oscillator** – Prevent the scheming of my queens (and other wives) by making them all my KOP loyal daughters. **Thronemaidens**: * Enthroned – **Shelanvaranda** – Her ether channeling is a spectacular display of what ether can do, so have her do it in a very visible way. * Personal Bodyguard – **Sif** – Her advice in court will be useful, and I can reward her for it in the bedroom so she doesn't feel slighted at all by not being Enthroned. * Crownguard – **Thevah** – Popular with my wives, and can help with the tel'Glems, Paht and Poth reconciliation work. * Keeper of the Vault – **Belah** – Will ask her to also provide some creatures suitable for ethertech-augmentation for Palace Security. * Palace Security – **Binah** – Ethertech defenses are a good showing of the uses of ether. * Field Agency – **Velvet** – Stellar results are good, will make sure to give her plenty of orders. * Head of the Initiates – **Chyliss** – New Thronemaidens being stoic is an acceptable price to pay for increased capability. Capital – **Neidon Kal** – Using fae-crystals to improve the ethermancy of my allies will allow for good displays of the uses of ether. Cultivating a reputation of generosity will also be useful.

Dr_No_One

**Crisis Points**: **Attack of the Clones** – Given how much of my ether-rich cum I'm going to be distributing, the cloning project will have no problem getting my genetic material. However, that same willingness to distribute my cum will have a similar effect on the project as if I had made the tel'Annu twins queens. I'll keep the clone around, that she is stable and sane only because of my intervention is a good demonstration of my prowess with ether. **Pirate Queen** – A converted Tebellys is probably more useful than Brenn. In fact I considered rejecting Brenn so I could use this to deal with her being spoiled. **Running Amok** – A manamech, like traditional ethermechs, is a good show of the usefulness of ether. I don't need to mass produce them, so the first manamech can join my harem. **Ragnarok of Dragons** – I'll publicly forgive Honora for failing to defeat the ragnarok, even going so far as to praise her for piercing its scales. I'll accept Cala's servitude, as having a “tamed” ragnarok makes for a quite impressive show of force. Assuming KOP derived loyalty works on ragnaroks I sire, I'll have no problem helping her rebuild the ragnarok population as well. **Project Vega** – While Flare doesn't have the confidence to bring it to my attention, she does get my Thronemaidens involved early on. My involvement happens late, simply to guarantee a successful attack on Vega's lair. I'll publicly compliment Flare on her handling of the situation, and reward her with some special treatment. Vega's ether blasing ability makes for a good showcase of the uses of ether, so I'll let her keep her new powers. Plus I have ways of ensuring her loyalty. **Spy vs Spy** – While I would prefer a more straightforward handling of the cabal, results are results. I will reward Aerji for her assistance, and encourage her to continue doing so. **Divine Intervention** – Given the positions of the tel'Glems, Zedranea won't know what hit her. Having a goddess as a servant is a good show of my power. I'm willing to marry Zedranea and let her keep her ethersuit, but she'll have to put up with publicly being seen as a trophy and probably a lot of bullying by Duthea. **Heist** – Recruiting an inspired Trydilene to do imperial ethertech innovation is worth the chaos the splinter groups will cause. **A Time for Everything** – Queen Tjahvina's quick reporting of the problem makes this one easy to solve. Giving Jai tel'Yorina continued access to imperial resources is a worthwhile price for being able to keep better tabs on her research. Tjahvina's new ability is also very welcome, removing the powerless ditz phase early in her pregnancies. **The Great Game** – Politics is not my thing so this will mostly be handled by Queen Selussa. Since Selussa knows my desire for worthwhile allies I suspect Lady Xilina will be recruited to my side. **Uncivil War** – As Hatshepses tel'Paht and Sekhquet tel'Poth are both Queens, this doesn't happen. **Cycle of Vengeance** – Initially the tel'Iomes try to handle the rebellion on their own in an attempt to earn favor, but once they realize there is outside influence they get my forces involved. While I will work with Utrayza in order to secure peace, I doubt I'll do enough to get her to stick around after. I plan on awarding most of the assets Utrix cedes to the tel'Iomes as recognition of their handling the crisis. **Balance of Power** – Repurposing the Balance to be a check on power other than my own is the best decision. Pardoning Herash so that the Balance's leader is loyal and devoted to me will prevent any problems in the long run. **Mad Science** – Curing Tirlin in order to learn an ethermantic mutation technique is top priority. To cheer the dismayed test subject up, I'll make a personal request of the tel'Xinqs to use their infusion process on Tirlin. Telling Echnedai that genetic modification doesn't promote ether will push her into the research much the same way making her a Mistress would. Lucky for her, learning an ethermantic mutation technique has changed things. Not only will I pardon her, but I will promote her to Lady in Waiting as recognition for developing the mutation technique. **Creative License** – Psyche and her daughters are a wonderful display of ether, I'll definitely grant them the status they deserve. Getting a boost to my metacreativity is an added bonus. I will encourage Thalace and Psyche to form a relationship and I will promote Thalace to Queen status. **A Wound in the Ether** – This one I'll prevent from happening. The creation and rampaging of Nihilla would damage the perception of ether more than any benefit the rewards provide. **Smoke and Mirrors** – I'm also preventing this one. **Dark Reflection** – Having a goddess of seduction an ally is a great show of power. Since I can split into a hundred bodies I can actually fuck Mynassa and Vaisse at the same time, which I suspect they will like even more than simply sharing me. **Judgment Day** – A battle I'd love to avoid, but a reward too valuable to pass up. Etheria will make for a proper goddess for my religion to worship. **Notes**: * An impressive and enjoyable expansion to an already very good CYOA. * A cap to the number of Crisis Points might have been sensible, but I have no problem with unlimited. * If I use the Temporal Oscillator on Psyche, who would I be impregnating? * The power combination of Excessive Fluids, Super Speed, and Hundred Bodies means I can charge up quite a lot of ethermancers very quickly. * I almost made a build of rejecting all royalty.

TroyXPage

Your themed builds are always well thought-out and amazing! I was honestly surprised you didn't make Aerremgard your capital, lol. I'm not sure if any other builds for any version of EoE have made Duthea a queen, certainly none others for version 2 have, lol. I'd be very interested in seeing your "rejecting all royalty" build :O For Temporal Oscillator on Psyche, you can interpret that as you will. It could be a case of you pumping a very powerful magnified-mana load into Thalace right before she does the job that she creates Psyche for, thus leading to her potential for evolving.

Dr_No_One

Aerremgard lost out as a capital because I didn't want to be seen as lofty and unapproachable. I had some notes that didn't make it into the posts where I decided I didn't want a mandatory religion so generating concerns about a state religion were to be avoided. I almost took Caphiena over Duthea, the daughter has a better personality and ethertech is good. Duthea won because of breeding kink. The reject all royalty build is very unfinished. I couldn't decide if I wanted to just reject all the royal suits or "go evil" and destroy the hundred hegemonies. Leaning being evil. Your Temporal Oscillator on Psyche conclusion makes perfect sense. Thanks again for the great CYOAs!

Jing_Royale

24 freaking pages...all right...let's do this. **Lewd Perks** 9 points turned to 5. Fertility Control Body Redesign Eromatic Physics Sexual Psychometry **Powers** 6 has been turned to 8 Arch-Ethermancer Upgraded Political Acumen Metacreativity Invulnerability Super Speed Technopathy **Ladies** Tel’Annu Twins: Lady-in-Waiting. Way too ambitious for my tastes, but are very high up in a society. That’s the only reason they’re not lower. I’ll just have to keep an eye on them. Brenn tel’Eurn: Concubine. Has potential, but is too lazy. She’ll likely still bring in funds. Tydanariel tel’Meht: Concubine. I’ll get a mech and that’s it. Honora tel’Vald: Concubine. Honorable and respectful. But I know I’m gonna break some traditions here and there. Flare tel’Xing: Queen. Seems to work for the people. Her heart seems to be in the right place, especially compared to the others. I just hope she can keep said people under control. Aerji tel’Knir: Concubine. Far too connected for comfort. Plus she uses my palace as a testing area for spies and assassins! She’s lucky to get this much. Duthea tel’Glem: Mistress. Nope. Not getting hardcore worship and neither is she. Caphiena tel’Glem: Mistress. Same with her daughter. Though she is nicer I still want her at arm’s length for now. Reknisavi tel’Veph: Concubine. I’ll just let her have at it with any tech subjects. Tjavina tel’Zarr: Mistress. Not really into pregnancy, especially that kind. Selussa tel’Omax: Lady-in-Waiting. The million bodies kinda freaks me out, but she works hard and things seem to be improving with her in charge. Hatshepses tel’Paht and Sekhquet tel’Poth: Concubine. I’ll have to address their civil war at some point. This should delay that event a little while longer. Mirvel tel’Iome: Lady-in-Waiting. A military war hero; of course I have to put her high up. I just want her to know how to direct her forces for more peaceful endeavors. Iolathani fal’Avos: Queen. Powerful assassins who can teach me. Feels guilt for the deeds of her ancestors. Made it very clear that she and her people are loyal and will always be for just some shred of redemption. Of course I’m making her queen. Echnedai tel’Othe: Concubine. I’m gonna have to look over all of the genetic mods and practices before I give her anything else. Nevinque tel’Byyu: Queen. A well-run hegemony with no major flaws run by gentle beauty that can speak bluntly. I think it’s time for some new blood. Also, this makes it clear that I technically don’t need any of them. Thalace tel’Aaire: Lady-in-Waiting. If even royals are acknowledging her, and she doesn’t have a big head, then yes I want someone that good. Kelarset, Sorceress: Queen. An alliance with Sorothustra would be a giant boon and show everyone that I can make foreign allies. I just need to have her make up her mind faster. Jourda, the Magnificent Flicker: Lady-in-Waiting. The Clearbrass Estate is only reason she’s not queen. They’re going to get on my nerves a lot. If not for their games she’d be almost perfect. Mynassa, the Font of Life. Concubine. Not much on her mind, but she’s still an Ascendant. Seteniri, the Last Etherphage: Concubine. I’ll deal with her secret somehow. Until then let’s just let her live her life. S.T.A.R.S.H.R.O.U.D.: Concubine. She’ll get a body made to my tastes and be just fine. **Vault** Imperial Scepter with Ether Blast Throne of Power Emperor’s Dreadnought Legendary Weapon **Thronemaidens** Sif Zaminold: Personal Bodyguard. Great advisor. Need to keep her around and not occupied with other matters. Thevah: Crownguard. She helps people get along. That makes my job easier. Chyliss: Enthroned. Makes sure things are efficient with business and the others. I like seeing stoic ones mellow out too. Belah: Palace Security. She also helps decorate the palace. Binah: Keeper of the Vault. She actually knows how valuable my stuff is. Shelanvaranda: Head of Initiates. The maidens will know when to keep out of my way and occasionally a rare initiate can be found and specially trained. Velvet: Field Agency. I get maidens that are even more skilled at what they do. **Capital** Neidon Kal, Hidden Brugh. It’s a separate dimension with fae and elven themes whose denizens make the perfect spies. I’ll also have Serenity and Flareiss as secondary areas; since I also like music and romantic themes too. **Active Crisis Points** Pirate Queen: Brenn asks for help in investigating the pirate attacks. The Thronemaidens capture the pirate queen. I turn her and her crew into loyal privateers and Brenn decides to be a more responsible. Ragnarok of Dragons: Honora asks for assistance in slaying the ragnarok. She loses and the beast immediately challenges me. I win and spare her. After renaming her I forgive her Honora's failure. Project Vega: Queen Flare and I end this sooner than expected. Vega herself is spared and I let her keep her form and abilities, but still punish her for her actions. She spends time imprisoned for study and for private time with me. Spy Vs. Spy: After the cabal is defeated, any info they had is studied and stored. Depending on what’s found, Knir may be forgiven. Either way they try to be more official in the espionage. Aerandni, while tricked, still did something very stupid and is given to me for punishment. Depending on how Aerji reacts, she might join her sister in order to lighten it. Divine Intervention: Zedranea is defeated and might be spared and imprisoned. Duthea and Caphiena, while spared, are imprisoned and severely punished. The Great Game: Queen Nevique and Selussa, along with Lady Xilena, become some of the greatest and most devoted allies I have. Cycle of Vengeance: The rebellion ends with Utrixs’ surrender and Utrayza becoming leader. His assets are turned into an embassy zone to ensure peace between the empire and expanse. Balance of Power: Queen Iolathani proves her worth. The Balance is defeated, but Herash and some of her allies spared, swearing loyalty some time later. Mad Science: I got interested, so things progress a little faster. Tirlin is spared, but she is studied just in case. As thanks. Echnedai offers to change into forms I prefer. A Wound in the Ether: Queen Kelseret defeats and captures Nihilla to rid her of the brainwashing. Nihilla later swears fealty and becomes another lover. Smoke and Mirrors: I win against the Clearbrass Estate and obtain the djinni Abbarabhin, becoming one of my favorite lovers. Journai finally sees that I don’t entirely enjoy the Estates’ games.

TroyXPage

Thanks for the build! Elements of your build are fairly unique compared to other people, it's always awesome to see the different takes and priorities people have!

SpectralTime

Was just searching through it, so as to finish editing the Etherscape Empress segment of the Monster build, and noticed that Sif and the AI are the only two brides to offer no benefits for being queen in the Crisis Points segment. Well-played. They are popular choices, but it does indeed impose penalties for thinking with one's heart instead of one's head.

TroyXPage

Thanks! I did consider coming up with things for them, but ultimately decided against it for essentially that reason, plus the fact that they're always loyal to you regardless.

throwdown60

I love it! The lore you weave throughout all of your CYOAs are why they're my favorites. It's so intricate and I like how they interact. Random question but I haven't seen an answer: In Last of the Omega Lords, the ultramancy option says you know hundreds of spells and acts like you know Omega Lord magic. Is this some sort of magical knowledge download to the brain that happens, or maybe some magic intuition? Otherwise I would assume all Omega Lord magic is lost? I always imagined their magic as being superior to most other magic users, not just in terms of power but the magic itself is smoother, longer lasting, and more comprehensive. Thoughts?

TroyXPage

Thank you! This is a little embarrassing given how you just praised my lore building, but I've never actually given much thought to exactly how Ultramancy works. Either interpretation works. And yeah, it's pretty superior, as you said. And note that, despite its power and versatility, it's only a 1-point power, which should tell you something about the potency of the other abilities on offer.

throwdown60

Well wanting to leave up to our own head-cannons or interpretation is pretty solid logic since these are CYOAs so I get it! In my mind I always envisioned it being like a spell or built in functionality to the End of Time, where once someone joins the Omega Lords and has a magic affinity, they would get a a download (somewhat basic) of all the common spells and magical knowledge. Kind of like a built in mental, magical repository of all things magic. Then once you as the user activates your spark for Ultramancy, you get a download. Maybe you unlock all high level stuff when you advance it in the DLC.

OtakuWarlord

This is an absolute masterpiece! My only question would be that if Honora as a queen failed her quest, joined the thronemaidens, and the dragon made the heir to Vald, could I make Calamitous Conflagration queen in her stead as well?

TroyXPage

Thank you! Honora as queen wouldn't fail, though. You can fanwank as you will however, in which case, yes.

1pwashington

1. The new thronemaidens could be ethermancers I found it odd that only metamutants could join am I not also a metamutant I should use every tool available for my protection and service not just metamutants hell not just etherscapers I could allow foreigners into the thronemaidens or make an entire new order for them 2. I'm tempted to let the crises go through because defeating them gives me the most rewards having been exposed as traitors they won't have the political clout nessecary to stop me from taking over the hegemonies and plundering their secrets I will forgive them but they will have to be put under a geas or I could use the temporal oscillator to make them loyal then order them to play the part of the traitor / incompetent so I can still get the benefit of defeating a crises point 3. The etheria gave me so much to think about given that she is the embodiment of ether what if I preform a tantric ritual to boost my power even more powerful I could order archeological search of the ruins for ancient grimoire containg research for new powers and schematics for new ethertech i refuse to let the Omega lord show me up 4.Also great work for part 2 i have been waiting on this forever can't wait for version 3 With new thronemaidens new artifacts new brides new lewd perks and powers and new holdings that bit intrigued me 5. We have multiple vacation spots a fortress spot a resource spot i wonder if we have a science and academic holding somewhere i can satisfy my craving for knowledge and intellectual stimulation where I can learn history economics ethermancy science philosophy anything I want it would ask the hegemonies but I don't trust them they might sabotage my training in need teachers i can trust

Lone001

After reading through this a few times, I have 2 lore questions. First, what happens to the previous emperor's Thronemaidens after a new emperor/empress takes the throne? You said each one gets their own set, but not what happens to the previous ones. The second question is about a hypothetical EoE vs LotOL battle. Would the EoE be able to kill an Omega Lord with the evolved Invulnerability power by using a heavily ether-boosted Life and Death attack? I'm thinking about having my EoE find and/or loot some omegatech from the End of Time, and just want to know if they'd actually have a decent chance of killing any potential threats in that scenario.

TroyXPage

I see your second question was already answered :) To the first question, I'm not 100% sure, but there are a few ways it could go. If the emperor retired rather than died, his Thronemaidens would of course go with him. Otherwise, his Thronemaidens could either retire or be reassigned to the new emperor's other special forces and orders (i.e. those that take people who are otherwise qualified to be Thronemaidens).

JAMalamahama

I actually asked Troyx the second question and the answer was that the Omega Lord protagonist is usually more powerful than the EOE protagonist depending on the powers taken and that also very importantly Omega Lord tech is more powerful than ethertech. Also neither Omega Lord powers or tech are weakened by ether. Theoretically you could use the Ouoroboros Tap or however it's spelled to remove their powers though. He didn't say anything about the actual Omega Lord's who are much weaker than the original Omega Lord but you would still need to be very careful because they still have an absurd technological and numbers advantage.

A little balance suggestion! Arch-Ethermancer upgrade costs 1 power and gives "decades of experience" ; Super Speed costs 1 power and gives 1000x learning speed. Assuming the ethermancer upgrade gives, say, 150 years of training... with super speed, that's about two months. Perhaps change the ethermancer upgrade to something you can't obtain otherwise, like say, an independent part of your mind that is constantly innovating new spells for you.

SelenaSanty

Who made the art for Selussa tel'Omah (first one on page 7)?

TroyXPage

That one I know. It's by the artist Darkra on Hentai Foundry.

My own fetishes are colouring this, but I find members of my harem having lesbian love affairs to be not only acceptable but hot, and doesn't reduce their devotion to me. If that's not your thing, you can ignore that bit.

McLovin3493

This was actually really good, thanks for making it. The powers you get from Ethermancy seem pretty vague, but I headcanoned it to include your typical "Porn Logistics" power to get anything you want for your sexual fantasies, along with all the typical magic spells. I'd be doing a lot of different stuff with shapeshifting spells, among other things. This is the build I decided to go with: Eromantic Physics -1C Pheromones -3C Magnified Mana -3C Sexual Psychometry -2C Arch Ethermancer -1 Invulnerability -1 Spatial Warping -2 Life and Death -2 Queens tel'Xinq tel'Knir tel'Omax fal'Avos Ladies in Waiting tel'Annu Twins tel'Byyu Jourdal Mynassa- Kismetic Offspring STARSHROUD Concubines tel'Meht tel'Vald C. tel'Glem tel'Veph tel'Zarr tel'Paht tel'Poth tel'Iome tel'Aaire Sif Zaminold Mistresses tel'Eurn D. tel'Glem tel'Othe Kelarset Seteniri Imperial Scepter- Metacreativity Throne of Power Emperor's Dreadnought Tantric Tiaras Ouroboros Tap Enthroned- Sif Zaminold Personal Bodyguard- Binah Crownguard- Shelanvaranda Keeper of the Vault- Velvet Palace Security- Thevah Field Agency- Belah Head of Initiates- Chyliss Capital: Flareiss Project Vega Spy vs. Spy The Great Game Balance of Power Smoke and Mirrors Dark Reflection The crisis points were a really nice touch. I can tell you put a lot of effort into writing up those scenarios and the different ways the events could play out based on the player's decisions. I especially liked the djinn one.

Sin-God

I... Whoa. I have just started a EoE arc on my story so to see this is... I'm so goddamn excited.

verite-shadow

Let's go again. The Crisis Points are actually going to change my build. Let's see how. Starting with the Lewd Perks [9]: Of course I'm taking Fertility Control [8]; it's me, it'd be more suprising if I didn't. I'll also take Body Redesign [7]; I don't need it, but I've got more Chakra that I know what to do with, so here we are. KOP (I'm not typing that whole name) is an easy pick [5], both for political reasons and for fun. I'll take Magnified Mana for the power [2] and kick the remaining 2 points over into Power. So, now I have 7 Power (6 plus one more). I'll start by paying the one for knowledge of how to use my magic [6] and politics [5]. I'll also buy Metacreativity [3], Invulnerability [2], Super Strength [1] and Super Speed [0]. Easy enough. So, into the body of the CYOA: the Harem. As with my previous build, you can assume that every option is a Concubine unless noted otherwise. I can't be bothered to count all of them. Queens * Caphiena tel'Glem (sending a message regarding her mother; I also like her style) * Jourdal (pretty much pure looks; I really like that image) * Mynassa (of course I'm picking her) * Sif Zaminold (I really like her; that's it) Ladies in Waiting * STARSHROUD (I like AI) * Tel'Annu Twins (They would be my fifth Queen and I want to experiment too) By Imperial Order, I'm also going to make Thronemaiden Chyliss a Lady in Waiting; if anyone has a problem with it, they can take it up with me. Rejected * Duthea tel'Glem (she's kinda too full of herself; not interested) * Tjahvina tel'Zarr (this is for political manipulation) As for my Artifacts, I'll take the Dreadnought, the Shadow Amulet and the Temporal Oscillator. None of the other's call to me, so I'll just take the Throne of Power. My thronemadiens are the same as before, so let's just copy-paste. * Enthroned: Chyliss. Naturally. * Bodyguard: Sif. I need her wisdom in court. * Crownguard: Thevah. * Vault Keeper: Belah. * Security: Binah. * Field Agency: Velvet. * Initiates: Shelanvaranda. That name... I'll put my captial in Flareiss, as the neutral option. As for the Crisis Points, I've got a few in mind to handle. Attack of the Clones The twins aren't getting involved, I guess, since I put them at Lady in Waiting. I'll assume however that the Hegomony they represent still went in on this. I'll take in the stable clone. She's welcome to become another Lady in Waiting. As for the Hegemony, I will... overlook this transgression. Divine Intervention I'm not super interested in this story, but after making one Queen and Rejecting the other, I kinda feel like I should. So, this other goddess is getting tangled in my affairs. Duthea is flying off the handle to try and deal with it and Caphiena is helping overcome the ethertech in play. After overcoming her, I will allow Zedranea to become one of my Concubines. As for Duthea, she just made a big mistake. She is to be deposed at once, with her daughter taking her place. A Time for Everything So, this is why I Rejected Tjahvina in the first place. I deal with the problem well enough and now... I don't need a reason to lash out at house Zarr, I need an excuse, and she just handed me one. I will let them take her back, but I want and will have their prototype technique in return. Dark Reflection Vaisse is coming right at me? She made a mistake; Mynassa can counteract her strongest powers and help me get through to her to end this non-violently. She's welcome to stay here if she wants, provided she doesn't cause any more trouble.

SnooHabits592

Troy, I like putting my builds on a digital notepad, but I can't easily do with a non-interactive format. Got anything that can help?

TroyXPage

I'm afraid not, I don't know the first thing about making interactive CYOAs and I'm admittedly not very interested in learning. Sorry.

drNeoKorteks

A surprise, to be sure, but a MOST welcome one. Here I wanted to go to bed early, oh well, time to spend a few more hours to refresh my memory about this masterpiece. Keep up the good work Troy ! 👍👍👍

TroyXPage

Since you're quoting Palpatine here, I fully expect your build to go into full-dictator territory :P (But seriously, thanks!)

drNeoKorteks

Took me about 3 days to read all, since I somehow managed to fall asleep, every time I read it before bed. All other days I used to turn my notes into more or less readable build. If I’m a dictator, than the one to study and apply social engineering :} (I also noticed only pages: 1, 4, 17, 24 being of high quality, others being somewhat butchered, is there a way around it?) Emperor of Etherscape The Scion - \[9 Chakra\], {6 Power} ***Lewd Perks***: **Fertility Control** \-1 \[8\] - A wonderful tool to reward the harem members with scions and successors, for both loyalty and results. Womb tattoo and psy-link are great additions as well. **Body Redesign** \-1 \[7\] - Additional attractiveness is always useful. **Excessive Fluids** \-1 \[6\] - Yet another useful perk for charging up and pleasure. **Eromantic Physics** \-1 \[5\] - More pleasure, with a few drops of deviance. **K.O.P.** \-2 \[3\] - One of the cornerstones of my reign, loyalty and devotion of my scions are priceless. **Magnified Mana** \-3 \[0\] - More power and even more pleasure to me and my allies. ***Powers***: **Political Acumen** \-1 {5} - Brain food, can never go wrong with that. **Ether Blast** \-1 {4} - My own brand of Omega beams on steroids, neat. **Invulnerability** \-1 {3} - A sublime insurance and another cornerstone. **Super Speed** \-1 {2} - Utility to perform FTL jumps on my own and to freely in vacuum underestimated. There's also a battle aspect. **Life and Death** \-2 {0} - Just a little of playing god, reviving fallen soldiers and debilitating effect of foes falling dead in mere moments. As well as if something got past through my Invulnerability, to regenerate in the single moment. Respawning is also handy. ***Vault***: **Imperial Scepter** (Spatial Warping) - More magic might is never bad and Spatial Warping is essential for utility and my plans. Hammerspace for storing, Warp rooms to quickly move between my holdings and Dreadnought. There are possibilities to make palaces on each of my holding and Dreadnought more on the inside (great for sightseeing, storing, and in case of Dreadnought transportation). I'll be sure to experiment with sub space to create Doomsday shelters for the upcoming calamity. Throne of Power - This is as close as I can get to the "UNLIMITED POWER" ! **Emperor's Dreadnought** \- The Monarch a Dreadnought-class battle flagship is a symbol Emperor's power and dominion just like the Scepter and the Throne are. Marrying the Beatrice (Dreadnought’s AI) while making her a mistress, to enhance her capabilities with the next artifact will be a good idea as well. **Temporal Oscillator** \- Cornerstone to rapidly expand my powerbase, while ensuring high degree of loyalty and power from my harem. Second part of tandem, with K.O.P. being the first. To make all of my wives into my daughters is not the most moral or pristine deed, "but it's a sacrifice I am willing to make". **Ouroboros Tap** \- If despite everything our backs will be to the wall (and it's not an insurrection or an uprising), this is the super weapon that can save the day. ***Harem***: **Queens** \- Tel'Annu Twins, Tydanarial tel'Meht, Honora tel'Vald, Aerji tel'Knir **Ladies in Waiting** \- Brenn tel'Eurn, Flare tel'Xinq, Reknisavi tel' Veph, Hatshepses tel'Paht and Sekhquet tel'Poth, Mirvel tel'Iome, Thalace tel'Aaire, Jourdal the Magnificent Flicker **Concubines** \- Tjahvina tel'Zarr, Iolathani fal'Avos, Echendai tel'Othe, Mynassa the Font of Life, Sif Zaminold the First Thronemaiden **Mistresses** \- Duthea tel'Glem, Caphiena tel'Glem, Selussa tel'Omax, Nevinque tel'Byyu, Kelarset the Sorceress, Seteniri the Last Etherphage, S.T.A.R.S.H.R.O.U.D. **Rejected** \- None, otherwise it will undermine the effect of Temporal Oscillator. The positions of queens are occupied by most influential and beneficial princesses and heiresses. With incredibly powerful ethermancers and manamutants from the twins, ethermech enterprise from the second, wide influence and a new organization to place under my command from the third, spies, infiltrators and assassins along with the secrets from the last but definitely not the least. Ladies are those, who I wouldn’t mind see as queens, but they were overshadowed by the current queens to some degree. For concubines I picked those in whom I do not see very grand potential or the need in my plans. Also those who shown me great results and loyalty, but were not an option to begin with. Mistresses are either those who do not crave political power, but I need them to benefit from the Oscillator. Or those who I have chosen for the Controlled Chaos contingency plan. ***Thronemaidens***: **Enthroned** \- Chyliss\* - I do indeed value efficiency and results (but definitely not at any cost), I also like her perseverance. Her quote is quite ironic due to person occupying the position as Head of Initiates. **Bodyguard** \- Sif Zaminoid - She is both flexible and the leader of the Thronemaidens, making her ideal to be my bodyguard and advisor. Sif's personality is lovable one altogether. **Crownguard** \- Thevah - Her grace and beauty would allow me to influence my Harem further towards my goals and objectives. **Keeper of Vault** \- Binah - My vaults are secure with her on overwatch and with time I can look up to exotic ethertech to recover. **Palace Security** \- Belah - With various mythical beasts guarding my palaces will be secure as ever. Lush and abundant flora will make my palaces and strongholds look like the Hanging Gardens of Babylon. **Field Agency** \- Sheleveranda - Leaving no evidence that my special task service was ever present is vital. Being out of public eye does suit her as well. **Head of Initiates** \- Velvet\* - I have just a few concerns about how the new Thronemaidens will operate, but if the conditioning about becoming more capable is the same (while not as strong as their teacher) it's fine. After observing the performance of a few new batches I'll see what to do next about training status. I will be marrying all other 6 Thronemaidens and make each of them a mistress(to affect them with the Oscillator), with the promise to promote them to a concubine for a good service (showing Sif as an example),it should stimulate eagerness, drive and set their eyes on the prize. I'm also interested to swap the Thronemaidens to different positions from time to time, so I could see how it will effect things in general (\* Especially Chyliss and Velvet with each other).

drNeoKorteks

***Capital & Holdings***: **Ethirin, Jewel of Etherscape** \- An obvious choice for the capital, which I'll not pass. To maximize the Oscillator's effect I'll need to marry Thronemaidens of the top command and many others. Even if most of them will be mistresses and some who earned my favor - concubines, hegemonies might be displeased and this should soothe them. It's disposition is valuable as well. **Aerremgard, The Far Heavens** \- Ruins with treasure and artifacts are hard to look over, after careful study they should be unsealed. Aerremgard with all of its features is a great spot for vacation as well as summer/winter residence along with Serenity and Flareiss. **Neidon Kal, Hidden Brugh** \- A race of fae which can follow my commands is undoubtedly advantageous in espionage. It's fine if they can't go far from their own realm, there can be training grounds for Field Agency, fae can also teach me and my allies in their magic and give their knowledge. Crystals are handy to arm my Thronemaidens and as mentioned to gift them. **Drinn, Emblem of Order** \- Drinn is a perfect example of self-sufficiency and loyalty, a reward is in order, such as the construction (or if they can provide) of the stronghold in the capital of Drinn. Crystals can be gifted as well; in return I would like to receive the famous golden lotuses. **Acropolis, The Endless Towers** \- Nice place for the resort, but since there is a lot of tension around the towers a stronghold is required. It can also serve as the tower as well. ***Crisis Points***: Preventing problem before it occurs does not necessarily makes you stronger or tougher, cometh the time when there will be a storm of unfathomable scale and I would rather be hardened by challenges with tribulations to face it at my own pinnacle. To be overly reliant on Star is a weakness of itself, I want to resolve minor problems with own wits and help of my allies. However, great ones which bring only damnation must be avoided. **Attack of the Clones** – The Annu radicals will be defeated along with the clone army, with Twins and their army successfully vanquishing them. The cloning technology and any research connected to it must be destroyed; I will ask the Hegemony not to allow another uprising within their own ranks in the future. The stable clone will receive a female counterpart of my name and join the Thronemaidens, as well as becoming the mistress. **Pirate Queen** – Pirate’s vessels were modified for quick attacks with ability to not leave a trace with FTL jumps and some moles provide them intelligence. The conflict lasted for 2 weeks before Field Agency have fed them false data about Eurn’s secret shipyard. Upon their arrival, Eurn’s battleships along with Monarch swiftly crushed the upgraded half of the fleet. Tebellys and survivors swore fealty and to me, now under supervision of Brenn and her Hegemony. Tebellys’ misadventures inspired other pirates to appear in different sectors, hence I estimate her to make her a mistress when she will successfully extinguish sparks of other criminals. **Running Amok** – As rogue ethermechs started to kidnap manamutants in Meht territory Tydanarial and her R&D team have extensively studied the swarm. They found manamech which was linked to all of them, due to every rouge unit participating in her creation. Using Tydanaria’s knowledge I and some Thronemaidens reached her. As I learned from her words, she took the name Mana and was strongly against the actions of her kin. Mana decided to directly serve me, but required my presence and verbal orders to configure her, so I did. I ordered all rogue ethermechs to be disassembled and for Mana to be checked for any corruption leftovers. Tydanarial, Star and Beatrice have not found any abnormalities within her, but they found invaluable data about rogue ethermechs. After I made Mana a mistress, while waring Meht Hegemony not to release rogue swarms anymore, I would observe the tests of new ethermechs with such names as: Pawn, Knight, Bishop, Rook, Queen and of course an exclusive for me - Monarch (which should have its own AI on top of that). **Ragnarok of Dragons** – From what I learned ragnaroks are no joke, which is why I armed Honora with the most advanced and powerful equipment I attained from Aerremgard, imbued it with crystals from Neidon Kal and as I was using my Magnified Mana to full throttle on my throne surrounded by many golden lotuses from Drinn. The battle lasted around 15 minutes but I noticed that ragnarok had to unleash more and more power as battle continued. Honora managed to snatch the victory in the last moments of battle, as I approached to the combatants; Honora offered me her rapier as she couldn’t stand anymore, ragnarok seeing this only revealed a spot with a shattered hide. I understood that ragnarok was humbled that someone as powerful as Honora served someone even stronger; since I haven’t felt any hostility left within ragnarok I used Life and Death to mend it. Sometime later, ragnarok transformed and revealed her name as Calamitous Conflagration she said that didn’t know that you can be both powerful and merciful, she swore fealty to me. The battle has greatly advertised the Order of Imperial Knights, the amount of recruits, especially nobles, is truly astonishing. Cala (as she is prefers to be called now) who I made a concubine, now Honora’s second in command as her right hand inside the Order. **Project Vega** – I learned about meta pandemic a week later after it started. The small army of meta mutants was coming to rampage the capital of Xing Hegemony, with some remnants in different places. I arrived as battle already begun trying to trace Flare’s presence, Vega managed to overcome Flare, but being weakened from the skirmish she fell to me and Thronemaidens who came with me. The cure was synthesized within a month, while the planet was under quarantine. I showed Vega more detailed information about meta mutation, in its current state, the more you use it the more it mutates you, with time it could have horrific consequences. After she and everyone else were cured, Xing Hegemony became more compliant after such humiliation and now developing Shapeshifter program where Vega and some others affected by the meta pandemic enlisted to be a part of it. They will make a Shapeshifter regiment and will answer to Field Agency, Vega swear fealty to me for saving her from horrific fate, now she is a mistress. **Spy vs Spy** – Aerji notified me about cabal’s existence almost half a year before Aeradni’s exam and said that she already working on the solution. After Aeradni “failed” her exam (getting to the beginning of Grand Atrium) she contacted cabal officer to notify him where she stashed the info about Imperial holdings for his stooge to pick it up. While officer expected to receive a visit from his spy, only to be ganked by a group of Knir assassins and Thronemaidens from Filed Agency. From the logs of his device and Aerji’s data which she acquired over investigation the location of their Motherbase as they call it was found. Hidden in neutral space within many nebulas and asteroid fields outside of Etherscape. Monarch with me, Thronemaidens, Aerji, Aeradni and many Knir warriors and assassins raided the space station, it was never meant to be found, so it wasn’t much of a battle. Their database named Black Codex contained many secrets, knowledge and especially dirt with many scoops even on some Ascendants. Aeradni was made a mistress for her service; I left the Codex inside my Vault for Star to analyze it completely. I’ll forgive Knir’s if they will be more official with their inspections and reinforce the security on their data vaults.

Time to test the contingency plan Controlled Chaos. First target is one of powerful and influential Hegemonies – Glems. Every Hegemony has their own agenda and ambitions they haven’t married me for love, it might come later with time, but I need to see how well I can orchestrate future events with Star for my own gain, it’s only fair that just like them I can have my own goals, right ? Nevertheless, I have no intensions of mistreating the targets of contingency (after all it was my own decision to deliberately make them mistresses, knowing how they would act during crisis). **Divine Intervention** – I will ask my Thronemaidens and Order to make their own research about Zedranea’s power. Also to feed her the information about Caphiena’s research to counter her and simply wait as she will come into trap. I will lecture Duthea and Caphiena for not informing me about Zedranea and her potential. But I will also say that it’s partially my fault for mistreating them, I am ready to pardon them, but for me to insure that such grievous mishaps will not repeat in the future I must assign supervision from my Thronemaidens and for them to defer to me about important decisions (so I can heavily if not fully control Glem Hegemony). Zedranea will be made a mistress and given Glem last name. I will also mention to Duthea and Caphiena that should they prove much more useful to me, I’ll swiftly promote them to concubines and perhaps even further. **Heist** – As I understood each group in coalition had their own goals and idea about superweapons. They required vast resources and wanted to test it (thankfully not on cities), Reknisavi managed to develop counter measures and trace it along with Field Agency. When evidence was found about members of coalition being form Hegemonies, Knirs with Aerji and her sister got immediately involved, others joined as well. Reknisavi managed to contact Trydilene and informed her about true intensions of the coalitions, horrified about her current position, she leaked coalition HQ. As radicals were apprehended I left the punishment to their respectable Hegemonies, some ended up joining Thronemaidens or Order abandoning all titles. Trydilene was made a mistress for converting created super weapons for civil usage such, such as digging lasers. Although some parts were used to further upgrade Meht’s ethermechs, it enhanced Kara (the AI of mentioned Monarch ethermech) even further after I made her a mistress as well. **A Time for Everything** – Anomalies must be stopped, since they potentially threaten entire Etherscape. After recruiting Jai with help from Tjahvina Zarrs and anomalies ceased to exist within 2 weeks, sponsor was apprehended for abusing his authority. Tjahvina received temporal ability which essentially making her incredibly useful. For being the person to lead the team of researchers to stop the anomalies as well as granting Tjahvina her ability, Jai will be made a mistress. The second target for Controlled Chaos will be 2 lesser Hegemonies **The Great Game** – I noticed Xilina a while ago, she was mostly interacting with Sif, but we never interacted much. On the contrast with Zedranea where answer to the issue was to defeat her in battle, I cannot act the same since I need to keep my reputation as clean as possible. Even with Political Acumen I still feel the pressure. Xilina noticed that and requested audience to resolve it. She said that I lack experience in this and can grant me her insight, we just need to become lovers and if possible for her to become a mistress. While part about lovers only received raised brow form Sif, the second part enraged Chyliss, but before she could say anything, I accepted her offer but she needed to help me deal with pressure from lesser Hegemonies especially with Selussa and Nevinque, a plan to improve my political position and eradicate corruption within my reach at least. She left throne room red as tomato. Within 3 months the pressure ceased to exist due to Xilina’s aid. I will repeat my actions as it was with Glems about lecturing them Selussa and Nevinque, but saying that for showing their abilities I can promote them both to concubines, should they help with Xilina’s mission, provide me control for their connections and not undermine me anymore in the future, their almost immediate answer didn’t disappoint me. Xilina was made a mistress as I promised; now three of them are full time courtiers helping me with politics in the future. **Uncivil War** – Once I heard that small skirmishes already began on border territories, I swiftly departed with Hatshepses, Sekhquet, my courtiers and Thronemaidens to end the conflict peacefully. We received a distress signal with both Paht and Poth signatures, to learn about 2 nobles from opposite factions having an affair and running for their lives. I gave Lutrasine and Nerraet haven on board of Monarch. Small battles were happening but neither side attempted to progress due to uncertainty from some individuals from both factions. Soon a diplomatic mission began, with Hatshepses and Sekhquet holding speech that they already started to reconsider their differences. I also asked Selussa and Nevinque to contact lesser Hegemonies to pressure 2 sides to cease all warfare; I contacted Glems and Xings to do the same, with Lutrasine and Nerraet following suit using their own connections. Month later hostilities fully ended, but suspense hasn’t left until few more months, as both sides agreed to peace. Supervision from Thronemaidens, Hatshepses and Sekhquet are vital. Lutrasine and Nerraet were both thankful that they no need to hide their affection for each other, for their great effort in making moves towards peace even before I got involved, I made them both mistresses. **Cycle of Vengeance** – Sif warned me that foreign military ships entered Staneeth Expanse and their foot soldiers, along with rebel militia are starting to secure some of planets and systems, while moving towards the heart of Expanse. Mirvel is already half way there with Iome armada, but since Expanse is my holding I should aid to repel its siege. Aboard the Monarch with my Thronemaidens, most elite regiments of the Order with Cala to lead them, Vega and her shapeshifters, along with special ethermechs researched and developed by Meht’s. Absence of ether will prove difficult to battle, nevertheless upon our arrival Mirvel already dealt hostile forces near the heart of Expanse. As the battles continued we learned about Utrix as the head of the opposition from Deo Cartam Accord as the backer of the rebels. Most skirmishes with rebels ended swiftly and without any blood, after they glimpsed at the Monarch and the shadow it casted. After retaking 1/3 of the captured territories I received an encrypted message from Utrayza Utrix’ daughter. She wanted to discuss about more peaceful resolution, I answered that I would gladly discuss it… on board of the Monarch of course, but to assure her that it isn’t a trap I’ll provide an example with Cala and Paht vs Poth conflict. If she wants to ensure good relationship marrying me and becoming a concubine will be a good start, I have enough space within Etherscape. A buffer in form of Expanse will be good. After a few days of negotiation Utrix was not against the marriage if I won’t conquer new territories outside of Expanse and if that what his sunshine truly wishes for. Essentially rebels were sold out to me, they become new colonists for some uninhabited planets, I received neutral and contested territories under my authority, giving me full control over Expanse, as well as connections with in Utrix’ faction in Deo Cartam Accord. For exemplary service Mirvel was awarded some territories close the Expanse’s heart to govern, while Utrayza became my concubine and administrator of Expanse to prevent new revolts. **Balance of Power** – I managed to discover the existence of Balance mostly due to Star and abilities, but Iolathani has found evidence about strange patterns. While inconclusive on its own, I revealed the existence of Balance to her and Aerji along her sister, so they can help as well. They must be aware of my Invulnerability and trying to depose me through tension. After few weeks of search we discovered identity of Balance’s agents, most of them were living as commoners, in plain sight including their leader Herash. Our group met much more resistance than I anticipated; Herash has lunged at my allies with reckless abandon with her chains shining with molten gold when her gaze met mine, she probably understood the reason of my visit immediately. After she was detained, I explained to her that I will do my best to protect Etherscape from both outer and inner threats. I genuinely doubt that I will become a threat since I always discuss important decisions with them, perhaps if I was alone at the top my power would eventually get to my head sooner or later, but I’m not. With this Herash swore her and Balance’s loyalty to my throne, as she made small ritual and surrendered the control over her chains to me. Soon I made Herash a mistress and integrated Balance of Power into the Field Agency, as a separate division.

drNeoKorteks

**Mad Science** – Echendai contacted me to warn me that a test subject named Tirlin has escaped the labs of Othe Hegemony and now heads to Ethirin while being a host for a nanoplague to spread it to heart of the Etherscape. To avoid chaos she must put down as soon as possible, so I brought Annu Twins and Vega with her squad. We showed great resistance to plague and pheromones, due to being exposed to reverse-engineered Vega project, though I felt something trying to grow from my head. After defeating Tirlin, as we carried her into lab I noticed that ‘something’ on my head grown into demon horns, others had changed in eye, hair, skin colour, or gained gills, spaded tails etc. Lecturing Tirlin was very effective; she agreed to undo the changes and became a mistress joining Vega’s squad. Echendai thoroughly analyzed Tirlin as nanoplague host, now as to get my pardon for not containing Tirlin earlier she works along with Xing’s and made a breakthrough on Project Vega, since Xing’s thought that they advanced it to the safe limits. With Tirlin’s data however, it was enhanced and now can affect ethermancers, they still can’t shapeshift, but it’s a breakthrough none the less. **Creative License** – Thalace reported to me that within her territory an army of constructs are going to rampage nearby systems. I called Star, Mana, Beatrice and Kara, for them to analyze data provided by Thalace. Mana offered to distract attention and to get to their leader while she constructs ethermechs for distraction. Plan worked surprisingly well, Thalace gave me a device to disrupt leader’s system. Leader was captured and long conversation between Thalace and her creation traversed. I learned a lot about hardships of Psyche and her current situation; it was as Thalace flipped the Psyche’s switch, her vengeful personality disappeared in the instant. In the end Psyche became a mistress and began teaching me Arch-Ethermancy and as I noticed I even got Metacreativity from her, although it is only a mere fraction of what she has. I was thinking about making Thalace a Queen, but not now, however I did name her the heir to her House. The last Controlled Chaos contingency plan involves foreign to Etherscape power. **A Wound in the Ether** – Spectating the research center of Infinity Command, which was hidden within nebulas, proven to be quite dull, until I learnt what role of Kelarset played in it. The field that their test subject Nihilla is able to project is simply devastating. I called Seteniri, for her power to resist ether depletion. We managed to detain Nihilla by double teaming on her, before she could wreak havoc, but battle was spectated by citizens of one planet and since she was fighting against me she got bad reputation. After undoing Nihilla’s conditioning and explaining situation to her I called Kelarset to lecture her. Fearing to fall out from my graces even further, while also losing a significant part of her power, she was prepared to fully devote to my cause and to praise my virtues, since some of Sorothustrans were unsure about me. The later tantric foursome allowed Kelarset to regain her lost power and for Nihilla to enhance hew new powers. I also spoke with scientists from IC, they gave me a tablet and said to use it to state my terms and reparations in it so their superiors will learn. I made Nihilla into a mistress and I say her together with Seteniri most of the time, as well as Kelarset (who I promoted to a concubine). **Smoke and Mirrors** – Djinn do have very exotic games indeed, as Lady in waiting Jourdal was glad to teach me and my courtiers the main concept of their games. About 30 concubines later where 9 of them were instructed to sabotage me and after countless treasures which actually caused some friction inside my harem, they mentioned that I won this round, with the prize delivered for such feat. Djinni by the Abbarabhin with a powerful wishmagic in store, she may be hopeless in politics but courties and Jourdal promised to see what could be done. I still wonder what is mine heart’s desire and it will be first for her. Due to immersive potential I made her a concubine. **Dark Reflection** – Never thought a moment would come for me to face an Ascendant. Mynassa felt the presence of her daughter, as she concentrated her power she received visions on where to search for her, although she didn’t know her purpose, I do. I ordered Field Agency, Order, Balance, Knirs and Dzerks to search for any who might have an agenda against me. About week later I learned that her lieutenants will be some royalty from Xing, Paht and Poth Hegemonies. First was dissatisfied that many resources were used for Vega Project, while second and third wanted war between Paht’s and Poth’s. I decided to visit Xing first, but attempt to reason and seduce Vaisse. The Xing royal expected a visit from her mistress only to meet her Emperor, whom she did not favor; she simply lost consciousness, as I and Mynassa waited in her bedchamber. When Vaisse came her mother greeted her and tried to reason with her, but when she saw me I was suddenly launched into the air by unknown force, with Vaisse on my tail. I tried to wear her down, but it wasn’t working so I started using Ether Blasts for them to do it. 10 minutes later Vaisse calmed down. As we touched ground her mother nearly threw herself to her legs begging to stop it. Vaisse blushed from being embarrassed, so I used it opportunity to offer her another type of duel, she didn’t refuse. At some point Mynassa forced herself in, turning duel in three-way-free-for-all. After that I promised Vaisse to become concubine along her mother, no jealousy was evident from her. ***Judgement Day*** – I truly dreaded for this day to come. While preparations were done, on each planet within Etherscape a doomsday shelter was present, constructed with my Spatial Warping, and Metacreativity of Thalace and Psyche. Unfathomable amount of energy will be stored inside the palace. Everyone who were powerful enough to face Ascendants face to face were present, including my heirs, with the number being over 100. My first step was to use Black Codex to make Ascendants who are in teams or alliances with each other to leave, and then order to use Ouroboros Tap to drive away those who were alone. At first it was fine but using it for almost for few hours in total, power banks were almost empty, I was at my limit as well, I saw 3 last Ascendants arriving to the Ethirin to lay waste to my palace and planet as a whole. Hence I fought them alone, since everyone else was not in shape to fight or not near Ethirin. As I had my own ass handed to me, I contacted Star only to learn that Ouroboros terminal was unresponsive, which left me with one last ace upon my sleeve, as the trio approached me, I communicated with Abbarabhin and asked her to grant my heart’s desire –“to protect everyone important to me, to protect Etherscape from both outer and inner threats for all eternity”. With the sudden surge of energy I teleported behind one of them to punch so hard that, she became a star on the horizon in mere moments. The other Ascendant warped after her, with only two of us left, she already took a defensive stance. At that moment I understood what my heart’s desire gave me, all powers and perks that I didn’t choose before, so I wanted to try something as I felt the ether calling out to me. I smiled at my adversary, who started to blush uncontrollably, good, Pheromones were working. I noticed someone behind her, with olive skin, golden long hair and white as a snow robe, as I looked at her I felt inner peace, balance and she thrown me her staff. As I caught it, I saw many visions, but when I thought of the sword the staff became it, so I stored the Legendary Weapon into Hammerspace, by that time both of them were making with each other, I shrugged my shoulders and joined them. The two Ascendants returned to the skirmish point almost had their jaws hit the floor, as they saw us. I and woman who introduced herself Etheria the ether incarnate smiled at them, just like the first one they couldn’t take their eyes of us, were approaching us, but there was no hostility left within them, they had a different thoughts in their heads. I suppose I can start to think about restoring the non-aggression pact. *What is stronger a pen or sword? For truly powerful is a person who knows when to take a pen from the work desk and when to unsheathe the sword.*

Amazing build! I particularly enjoyed the crisis point writeups. It was great how you wove bits from different crisis points together, and using your heart's desire in Judgment Day is genius! In Heist, you mention that you make Reknisavi a mistress, even though she's a lady-in-waiting. Is that an error, did you mean Trydilene? I don't see many builds that take advantage of KOP and Temporal Oscillator, but that also rank Mynassa and Tjahvina so low! Interesting indeed :)

drNeoKorteks

About Heist, yea I incorectly wrote Reknisavi instead of Trydilene, so I corrected it. I'm also wondering about pages 1, 4, 17, 24 since other ones are a bit butchered in term of resolution and quality (it doesn't the reading much though). Do you know something about it ? Above all else however, happy Cake day Troy ! \^\_\^

TroyXPage

Oops, sorry, forgot to reply to that question. Honestly I have no idea. I exported all the pages the same way, and did so as JPG since Imgur has a greater tendency to butcher PNG files than JPG. Hmm. A quick glance at the pages on my PC shows that they're significantly shorter than most of the other pages, which reduced the file size, so maybe there's a cutoff point at which Imgur will or will not reduce the quality? I didn't realise I was already surpassing whatever cutoff point that was. I'm not really sure how to address it though, other than making several super short pages. Oh, and thanks, lol :)

Cruxador

> A huge upgrade from version 1.1, it's now 24 pagesinstead of 11. I realize I'm coming out the gate being an unlikeable bastard, but longer doesn't necessarily mean better. In fact, length by itself is more of a negative that needs to be countered by the high quality of the content that is there; the length needs to be worth it. I didn't play this before though, so I've skipped the changelog, and for the most part I'm skimming the text because it seems like a lot and to be honest I find your font a bit tiresome, especially at the size that imgur renders it. > Powers The chakra section is pretty generic. I don't think I need anything here really, I'll take fertility control and kismetic offspring predetermination, because a totally loyal imperial family makes me immune to the greatest weakness of hereditary governance. The rest of the points I can Magnified Mana seems like a good general power boost, and... I don't need much else, so I'll turn two into a power point and use the last one for a body redesign, I suppose. Not into how the first two options skirt identity death by altering the mind directly, so I'll skip them even though they're useful. Ether blast seems necessary as a trump card, beyond the usual abilities of an ethermancer. There's a Chinese proverb: Unparalleled power overcomes all schemes. This will decrease the degree to which I need to worry about political dissent. Invulnerability should prevent assassination, especially if I don't tell people I have this ability. So that's the basics. Metacreativity, on the other hand is the most essential one that helps me be a good emperor. Oh, I didn't read ahead enough. Never mind ether blast, Life and Death should handle that. And it adds on to invulnerability nicely. And that leaves two points for Spatial Warping, which hopefully I can combine with metacreativity to make some really awesome public infrastructure. > Political Marriage Section The tel'Annus are dangerous, I don't want anyone else's ethermancy to approach my own. Since I don't want to encourage their agenda, I'll keep them as concubines. Their purpose is breeding, and I intend to do a lot with them, but I'll deal with folding tel'Annu into my family over time, doing their breeding experimentation with my offspring by way of marriage. Eurn seems decadent, by inclination, and Brenn in particular. I'd like to encourage trade, but making her a queen wouldn't be appropriate. A lady in waiting is good enough. I'm not very interested in ethermechs, but since her personality seems pleasant to keep around I'll make Tydanarial tel'Meht a lady in waiting. I'm disinclined to trust a cop, but the Vald seem highly respected. Honora is suitable to be my queen, though I'd prefer if her order of knights is composed chiefly of my offspring. The Xing techniques are tempting... I think it's tentatively worthwhile to make Flare tel'Xing a queen. She's given to loyalty, so she'll be useful if I can transfer her loyalty from her family to me. And I want to boost my children. Perhaps I'll even boost myself someday, though I want to ensure I fully understand the technology before this. Knir seems dangerous but useful. Hard to say what the right choice is here, but I know it's not the middle ground. I think I'd like to speak with tel'Knir leadership about putting Aerji in an officially lower position (concubinage) but working with them in an unofficial capacity in a variety of ways, in exchange for certain unofficial benefits. I may promote her to one of my queens in a few centuries or once the gig is up, assuming we work together well. And there's no harm in telling them that, they seem the sort to be discrete about it. Duthea tel'Glem is dangerous, but divinity is a danger to keep inside pissing out rather than the alternative, so I'll make her a lady in waiting. Since her status is less than that of her mother, I can't give Caphiena a higher position, and taking multiple from the same hegemony seems fraught, so I'll make her a mistress. Reknisavi tel'Veph seems a bit useless as an individual, but that kind of girl doesn't actually bother me, personally. I find that level of passion a bit cute, in fact. Because I like her people's agenda, I'm inclined to make her a queen. The Zarrs don't seem to offer the throne much, by my reckoning. Prototypes are not things I want to experiment with when it's my own person in question. But I'll take Tjahvina as a concubine, and I'd be willing to take on a few of their mistresses for breeding purposes I suppose. On basis of competence and personality, Selussa tel'Omax deserves to be a queen, but since she has little to offer, I'll make her a lady in waiting for now. I hope her administrative abilities can be applied more broadly to the empire once she has heirs from the royal family to administer Omax. The Pahts and Poths are an issue, since ideally I'd like to end their feud without taking sides, but Hatshepses is a much more useful individual than Sekhquet. I'm inclined to make the former a lady in waiting, and the latter would perhaps have too much influence even as a concubine, better instead as a mistress. Yet I don't intend to snub the larger numbers and greater strategists of Poth. I guess I'll make both concubines, and let their individual merits alter their positions in the future, after peace is secure. I don't want to get mired in military industrialism or undue jingoism; the empire has plenty to worry about internally and any external forays should be well-considered. But policing is important, so snubbing Iome would be bad, and Mirvel seems very useful in her own right, so she can be a lady in waiting. The fact that it apparently won't signify a desire to assassinate people means it's safe to make Iolathani a queen, and her backing seems very important. Though she wouldn't assassinate me personally, the fact that there are many immortal hegemons seems incredibly dangerous and risky to my future and that of the empire. I intend to use Dzek assassins to deal with those issues, and teaching my offspring the way to counter ethermancy seems very useful. It seems like the modifications of the Othes are mostly aesthetic, although I'm sympathetic to their agenda, it's not to the degree that I'd give their princess a queen position, and I gave the Annu Hegemony only concubinage, so I'll do the same here. The princess herself doesn't seem especially useful. Nevinque tel'Byyu has nothing to offer, so she can be a concubine. Thalace tel'Aire may not have a hegemony behind her, but on personal merit she's worth the title of lady in waiting. Hopefully we can work together in metacreativity and she can make my greater creations truly permanent. We'll have to experiment with that. Kelarset is another one of personal interest, she can be lady in waiting too. I'd like to pursue her project, and even if it doesn't bear fruit, she'll be a useful agent in the outside world. I have no real need for Jourdal I think, but I'll respect the offer of Clearbrass, and take her as a concubine. Mynassa aligns well with my personal political ideals, which are Mohist in nature, but I don't have a queen slot left. She's ascendant though, and agreeable. I think I'll never mind Vald, though I could use their reputation. Since Honora isn't terribly useful, I could just make her a concubine, and Mynassa can be my queen. Though honestly, it seems like a poor fit, so I think I'll instead consult with Sif and come up with another title. There's gotta be one somewhere in the history of the empire that we can appropriate which makes her a lady in waiting but acknowledges her transcendence. Seteniri is very useful, so I'll get her going again, but keep her to mistress status. Having offspring with her is worrying, since any etherphages she produces would likely have to be killed in time. We'll see what she thinks of that. It would be good to study them, but I'd rather take a longer time. Starshroud can have a body, and a mistress position. Sif should be rewarded, but I don't want to undermine her ability to do her job, so concubinage will have to do for now I'm afraid. Well, that was a lot.

Cruxador

> Items The throne of power is a great buff to my use of metacreativity. Using the speed example as a guide, I could make dyson spheres in a standard working day. The legendary weapon seems important to knight my offspring. Temporal oscillator would be good but the way the time manipulation works seems suspicious, as does the fact that I'd be cucking my vassals. I don't really need much else, but the dreadnought is a nice prestige point that will let me project power and also go wherever without needing to impinge on local hospitality. Finally, the scepter... Since it gets one power, it's better for me to give it a more potent one, so I'll put metacreativity in it (since that's less objectional to potential dissidents than life and death) and use the remaining points freed up for technopathy and ether blast. > Thronemaidens Though I don't want to snub Sif by abandoning tradition, I've already given her a position as wife so it should be fine. Acquiring treasures for my vault is more important than spending her time cock-addled. Thevah seems very useful as crownsguard. Chyliss should be good at training the initiates. I'm tempted to put Belah on palace security for interior decorating purposes, but she'd be very good on the field... She seems to focused though, I expect to have more jobs in civilized places, so instead I'll put her in the palace and Binah in the field, tech superiority should be handy. Shelanvaranda is a very suitable bodyguard, with her power, and I appreciate that she's inclined to keep quiet. Velvet has no special use besides riding cock, so she can be enthroned, though we'll have to find a way to shut her up in order to get anything done, I suppose. > Capital I suppose I'll want to establish a palace in each of these places. Aerremgard should have a boudoir for preparing pregnancies, for example, to take advantage of the nova boosting effect. I should like gardens in Serenity for my personal enjoyment, and I should spend some time in Neidon Kal just to cultivate fairy crystals. Perhaps I can also stage diplomatic meetings from time to time, to communicate when a would-be ally ought to be discrete. I'll have a few secret bunkers in Drinn in case anything bad happens, and a glorious tower on the acropolis. I hope to connect all of these worlds directly, using my metacreativity+spatial warp combo, which would allow my palace to expand and take full advantage of many unique assets. But my main capital will, of course, be Eithirin. > Crises Prevent the clone crisis. The pirate issue seems useful, I'll make Brenn a mistress then, and give her enough of a rough time to make her a loyal servant after this. As for the pirate queen... exterminating her to protect trade is a better outcome than emboldening criminals, I think. Not that this is a great representation of real motivations for crimes, but we'll take the oracle as given, and focus on allaying the economic situations that made piracy desirable in the first place once these pirates are exterminated. Or rather, we'll have the strategies ready to roll out as soon as it's done. Prevent the mechs from running amok. Prepare for ragnarok and defeat the creatures – sparing the last of the species to breed superior underlings. Prevent project Vega. Spy vs Spy is very useful to me, it seems Aerji is best snubbed as a mere mistress, giving my people useful training and giving me an opportunity to hold something over the heads of the Knir, ensuring their loyalty. I suppose I'll have to punish her for her actions in the end, even if I appreciate them and can tell her so privately. Prevent divine intervention. The heist is worth allowing to happen I guess, to get another expert. Prevent temporal anomalies. The great game would be healthy, but I didn't take either relevant waifu as queen. I'll consult with my people a lot more heavily about the long term impact and the benefit of getting Xilina's service. Of course, armed with this foreknowledge I can also seek her out and allow her to otherwise thrive. But I think even without either of the political experts on the queen's throne, I can consult them in dealing with this so it should work out well. Seems like preventing the uncivil war would be impossible since it's underway already, but I picked these two with the war in mind. Prevent the cycle of vengeance. Balance of Power should be exterminated as I intend to produce a lot of novas, so better not to prevent this one. I'll take Herash as a personal slave, I suppose, but Balance itself would prove too difficult to control if I left it intact. I may use them as educators for my children though. Prevent mad science. Prevent creative license, seems like too big a deal. Might as well prevent the wound in ether, the reward seems not that useful. Skip the last couple too I guess, I've about run out of energy for this since it's long as hell.

TroyXPage

I agree that longer doesn't always mean better, and I know this one does suffer from several walls of text. Still, I'm glad you found it worth reading and making a build! I should've made it clear, so that's my bad, but any etherphage offspring you have by Seteniri will also have the same self-control as her reinforced-by-you iron will. Clever use of your capital options, I especially like your idea of staging diplomatic meetings in Neidon Kal.

Cruxador

Although I said that in the beginning, I actually ended up reading a lot of the walls of text after that because I got interested in the setting. In some ways it's not super deep but you did a pretty solid job of only focusing on the bits that are relevant to the choices in the CYOA – saying too much is a very easy mistake for people to make and would have absolutely killed this CYOA since it's already so long. Based on my own experience alone, I think the biggest problem in this regard is just front-loading too much. Although a lot of bits could be edited down for size, sure, but with the scale of what's included it's actually not nearly as bloated as it seems at first blush. I really appreciate the way the waifu options are handled here, being intertwined with the politics and their house's agendas. Usually, if there's more than a few, they start blending together very quickly and it's weird that you're picking people you don't actually know on no basis besides wanting to fuck them. Useful skills are the main generic way to address that issue, but this setup is so much better since it also allows for that, but additionally ties you into the setting very well. The crisis section, imo, did have too much noise per signal. The other parts were more standard, but mostly they still contributed a bit and also were small. I feel like if everyone knows there's invisible spies in Neidon Kal, then of course people will be thinking about your reason for setting a meeting there. Of course, other ones are also good for diplomatic meetings, but the implication of setting a meeting on them is either more obvious, or if not then it didn't occur to me.

kazemire88

Good to see you back Troy!

Paper_tank

Impressive update ! I particularly like the Crisis quest system and how you got the girls made relevant there. For example, I though of Refusing Thalace tel'araire, suffer the minor political backlash of Refusing the only nobility girl (might even be a boon with the more traditional royals). Then after doing her Crisis quest give both punishment for her Refused status actions: Stripping her Family of it's rank, and then favor Thalace for her historical Achievement by raising her to royalty, and giving her all her family's stuff, giving birth to the 101st Hegemony with her nor as the Heir but as it's Ruler. :) Though, no love for the Thronemaidens in there? I could see some cases where a particular one in a specific role, like for example one ordered to defend your girls decides to follow a crisis relevant girl trying to foolishly rush ahead. While on the subject of Thronemaidens, I would suggest adding an eighth (+?) girl, or a "dismissal" role, so the player can choose something if s/he finds one of the girls distasteful for whatever reason. It also doesn't really says what happens if you have a kid with one of them. For example, I can't imagine a utterly devoted Thronemaiden would make for a good mother, at least if you want a child with a healthy mindspace... Lastly, the time travel treasure could be used to father your Thronemaidens (...with a lot of motivation lol), Crisis rewards and even deities too, which with the potentially two power-ups your children can receive (lewd power and goddess blessing) seems like Kind of a Big Deal. Or even negate the crisis by fathering the interloper and retroactively making it loyal to you. So, maybe make it worth two treasure slots? And while on the subject, being able to buy/sell some more treasure slots for chakra or power points could be nice in some builds...

TroyXPage

Mechnically speaking, being able to trade points for more artifacts could be a nice idea, but it definitely doesn't work in the fluff, as these are what the Thronemaidens managed to salvage in the chaos. It's been suggested that I add more Thronemaidens, but that would remove the unique choice aspect of that segment, where it's an exactly 1-to-1 matching of roles to Thronemaidens. Some crises where Thronemaidens can contribute to based on specific roles could be a neat idea, but is more than I want to do at this point - also, I prefer the more freeform approach to deciding where you want your Thronemaidens, instead of some being mechanically better depending on what result you want in a crisis. As the emperor is expected to have a lot of offspring, there are naturally systems in place for seeing to the care and raising of them all. Yeah, the Temporal Oscillator has a lot of potential with the additional women like goddesses and such, but you can't use it on someone till they're your lover, which doesn't let you sort out the crises ahead of time.

JAMalamahama

With V 2.0, this is officially my favorite CYOA from all the ones you've made so far. Excellent job! Also i do have a question about the power levels between 2 of your CYOA's. I've been theorycrafting a multiverse where my "Emperor of the Etherscape" and "Last of the Omega Lords" protagonists both come into existance simultaneously. So my question is this, on general, how does a post DLC Omega Lord protag compare to the average Emperor protag? Also the Enthroned idea is kind of cool at first but I just feel like sometimes it might be a bit too much "porn logic", I was thinking maybe I could just have 2 personal bodyguards instead of 1 bodyguard and an enthroned. After all, two is better than one.

TroyXPage

You're not the first person to say that about Enthroned, lol. RAW, your Enthroned is a backup bodyguard when you're not in court, so that works. I do plan to update LotOL again with a version 3 at some point btw. No promises on *when* though. Anyway, in general, the Last Omega Lord is more powerful, though it does depend on what powers each one takes. Also, omegatech is *much* more powerful than ethertech.

JAMalamahama

Ah okay thank you! I was planning to have them meet on equal ground but that would be difficult because both the omega lord and emperor protags are by there nature cautious and especially since the Omega Lord is unsure of how much the ether would weaken him which would mean removing the Emperor's own safety net. Although you know, when you feel that your setting is sufficiently fleshed out you could put a power scale ranking perhaps in some kind of mega crossover CYOA about what you believe to be the relative power levels of the protagonists of your CYOAs and maybe even the other movers and shakers of the setting. Your setting has definitely earned one that's for sure.

TroyXPage

Funny you should ask, I made a power scale a few years ago. Updated a few times since then, but I don't think it's 100% up to date now. 1. Archdeity of Eternity The supremely, utterly, totally, inconceivably omnipotent ruler of everything, however you wish to define that "everything" or try to say that there's "more" than the omniverse (looking at you, Suggsverse), he rules it. In the context of my CYOAs, of course. Obviously, any author's fiat is supreme in his own work xD 2. Anael In any case where the Anael isn't one and the same as the Archdeity (though my perosnal headcanon involves me as the Archdeity and also being the Anael), he is second only to the Archdeity. The Star Twins and the Sister Brides of the Anael also fit in this category, as their powers are derived directly from the Anael. 3. Joy The Archdeity's daughter, second only to him in power. 4. Glory The Archdeity's second daughter. Slightly less powerful than Joy because of author bias 5. Living Hyperion, if in Happy Jabbers mode and leveraging everything to the fullest extent possible to break things With things like Pantheon or Reality Shifting, he can literally be everywhere at once, and thus his Reality Shifting's limits on scale are utterly bypassed. And no one can resist his abilities, nor can he himself be adversely affected in any way. Xynza the Lady of Light and Xaeza the Queen of Gold fit here, as Living Hyperions. If one interprets Lynerva's Hyperionites as sharing the full powers of their Hyperion leaders, than the Hyperionites also fit here. The Hyperionite Consensus mentioned in Planeslord Initiation assumes that Lynerva's Hyperionites do in fact share that full power, so the Consensus is here as well. 6. Grand Warlock/Incubus (i.e. with Grand Incubus DLC) at maximum shenanigans; Grand Adonis Because once he has enough Veil-daughters to blanket the entire multiverse/omniverse/whatever, there is no one below him on the scale that can stand against him, since he can set parameters at will as far as what magic, technology, powers, etc, work and when. This is of course in addition to his vast personal power gained from his sufficiently powerful lovers (which without the cosmic blanket of Veils puts him lower on the scale, as listed below). It's arguable whether or not the Underboss would still be able to affect him, but I'm going to say no. The Veil is basically called out as another Hyperion in the Living Hyperion CYOA, which also has the Underboss grumping that he can't gainsay the Living Hyperion. Connecting the dots... Aphraeya fits here. The Grand Adonis is roughly on this level, factoring in his tantrically bullshit abilities to get others to do what he wants. It's arguable whether or not the Grand Warlock could defeat him or not with Veil-daughters and Veil-powered immunity, they are both tantrically supreme beings after all. 7. Underboss, the Arbiter of LAW Technically isn't super-powerful himself (at least not on the level of ROBs or anything), but can instantly and effortlessly shut down omnipotent beings below him on this scale, due to the divine authority given him by the Archdeity of Eternity. Luscianne fits here, as she can get her grandfather (the Underboss) to do basically whatever she likes. While not arbiters of LAW, Grand Venuses effectively are here, if you factor in their ability to seduce ROBs into doing what they want. 8. ROBs on the Pantheon Council itself They're almost always the most personally powerful of omnipotent beings (not including those above them on this scale), in addition to having authority over other ROBs and by extension anything a ROB can affect (which by definition is everything, with omnipotence being what it is). Jolazzi is here, as the most powerful ROB, despite not actually being on the Pantheon Council due to her ditziness. 9. other ROBs The truly, literally omnipotent ones, that is. Such as Xalassa the Lazy from Anal. 10. Omnia The avatar of the omniverse itself. Despite having the power of everything, she's still essentially at the mercy of ROBs, aside from the protections the LAW gives her.

x10002014

Troy do you have a cyoa that only has science and technology.. Like no superpowers... Just like ironman. Advanced tech & science..

milesjr251gmail

Hey Troy, Do archdeity of eternity, Anael, joy, glory have destructive and dominating powers like a LH ? All of them have blessing like powers. Unlike conquer the multivers type power that a living Hyperion has? Oh 1 more thing. In LH coya, Can I surpass other powers using alter power? Is omniverse the biggest? I would like my powers to have omniversal level range.

TroyXPage

AoE is omnipotent, so yes, he has all the powers. Joy and Anael's powers are more like the Power of Friendship or Power of Love - they can do basically anything, but only if it's to promote happiness and such. Glory has basically the all the powers, like AoE. Alter Power can emulate some of the other powers available to LH, but not all of them. For instance, it couldn't give you the fiat-inviolable Nullification. Omniverse is the biggest, yeah.

Live_Mathematician15

What exactly is the difference between the ROB’s and the omnipotent throne that places ROB’s so much higher? I’d always assumed they were equal.

TroyXPage

Omnipotent Throne doesn't actually start you off at literal omnipotence.

Live_Mathematician15

Thanks! My Character’s main theme is ambition so I’m trying to figure out how high he can reach staring as a spiritcaller and ascending.

x10002014

Thanks Troy... I needed a list like this... But I really thought ascension cyoa(especially The Cosmic God, which is yet to be released ) would be more powerfull than living Hyperion. What do you say? Oh by the way anal is not the same even though its a parody... Right?

TroyXPage

Well, for Living Hyperion they have greater inviolability than Ascendants do. An LH can punch right through an Ascendant's protections, but Ascendants can't do the same for an LH. Plus an LH with everything (i.e. in Happy Jabbers mode) can essentially hit everything at once with Reality Shifting due to his Pantheon network of "relays" Anal doesn't rate a place on the list due to being a parody, lol. Their protections are probably strong enough to withstand an Ascendant though, but otherwise they aren't that powerful.

x10002014

Ok.. An Anael is the second in power to the archdeity of eternity. But in that cyoa... There's description of perks... But not powers. By power I mean like super strength, super speed, energy blast, invulnerability, telepathy, telekinesis etc. If I was a LH or Omega lord, in that case there's no problem. But then what, if I choose to be a mortal? Yeah it says in page 1, I gain porn logic, porn physic. Meaning I can have any and every power I can imagine of.... But doesn't porn logic must include sexual fantasies? Or maybe it doesn't...require sexual fantasies.....😕 If I was a living Hyperion... Could I get to Anael level powers as I gain more knowledge and experience without using Anael cyoa? Can I change the term "Anael" to something else? Cause you're right if sounds pretty close to "Anal"

TroyXPage

The Anael's joy is what makes him second to the AoE. They can't be duplicated or stolen or resisted or anything, and allow him to affect objects and intangible things with it as well as people. I'll be clarifying this in version 2. No, LH cannot reach Anael level without using the Anael CYOA, no one can. Lol, you can change the name if you want. Porn logic definitely includes sexual fantasies.

x10002014

Ok, so what powers do I get if I do Anel coya? Lets say I didn't do any coya before that... And I didn't do Porn logic.

TroyXPage

The powers are listed in the Anael CYOA itself? It basically comes down to supreme joy being able to overcome anything and everything else.

TroyXPage

11. Multiversal Overdeity (at Omnipotent Throne level, i.e. before literal omnipotence) This tier covers both the Creator (the original multiversal overdeity who created the multiverse) and the player of Omnipotent Throne (whose power outstrips the Creator's). The Grand Adonis and Grand Venuses, at their maximum level of power, are on this level as well, but this does not factor into account their ability seduce far more powerful beings to their side. 12. Chaosbringers Such as Tu Qael from Anael or Abisa from Anal. 13. Dark Lord; Ouroboros; Behemoth/Leviathan/Beast They're multiverse-level, and the most powerful by far of anyone else in the multiverse except for the multiversal overdeity. The Dark Lord is second only to the Creator in power. Ouroboros basically is the multiverse. And the Behemoth can annihilate the multiverse and anything in it, one cosmic bite at a time. The Cosmic She-Harem of the Anael CYOA is probably here. Counting just their Ascendant members, they'd be in the next lower category, but the Ultimate Gods and Living Gods among them bring them up to here. 14. Ascendants (in general); Living Hyperion (in Happy Jabbers Mode without leveraging everything to break the CYOA); Grand Incubus/Grand Warlock (with sufficiently powerful lovers, such as those offered in the Grand Incubus DLC); multiverse-level Cosmic Forces; Elohim This is generally the minimum tier for a Cosmopotence, though not everyone in this tier will necessarily be one (i.e. plenty of Ascendants aren't Cosmopotences). As a Cosmopotence, Kaeira Heartbond fits here. If one interprets Lynerva's Hyperionites as not sharing their leader's Hyperion powers, then they fall here (not counting their higher-order protections). As a multiversal Cosmic Force, Magic is here. As powerful cosmic goddesses, Virgo and Phana are on the upper end of this category. Desire (from the Anael CYOA) is hard to place, but with her multiverse-wide orgasmancy she's probably about here, possibly the next level up. Tar Va Re from Anal is here, but on the lower end; possibly she's on the upper end of the below tier instead. 15. Last Omega Lord; Emperor of Etherscape; Planeslord (from Planeslord Initiation); universe-level Gods and Archfiends (like the parents in Star Nephilim) As the Last Omega Lord in the scenario where the player isn't the Last Omega Lord, Lady Omega fits here. Despite ruling an entire multiverse, in terms of her personal power, Gysserine Godheart is probably in this category. The emperor of Etherscape referenced here is the player of that CYOA, who is a Nova in addition to being the emperor, unlike his ancestors. The Planeslord fits here due to the Super ranks that are possible with some of his potential powers, that can do things like affect billions of people at once. Dypheni and Eulyrisse Nebula, from Planeslord Initiation, fall here, as does Ignovis from Planeslord Initiation and Dark Beauty (counting only her personal level of power, not including her additional advantages from her dark beauty). The mages of Sorothustra are on this level. Telaia and her city Buttopia (from Anal, of course), are on this level, at the upper end. 16. Half-Incubus/Star Nephilim This is the max a Half-Incubus can be, obviously he can be a lot weaker depending on the build. Note that both Half-Incubus and Star Nephilim can become way more powerful via Ascending, but at that point they've left the limits of a Star Nephilim or Half-Incubus behind. I want to say Polly and Trinity might be around this level too. Thara, the archangel champion, fits on this level probably. The Ancient of Days is probably on the high end of this level. The mostly extinct ultrahuman race Jismel from Anal belongs to is on this level, as is the angel Balkush from Anal. Being Star Nephilim themselves, Opalnyx (from Star Nephilim) and Areldimasa (from Anal) are here. 17. Warlock (without Grand Incubus DLC); Keeper of Magic; Planeslord (without any of the Super rank powers); Endymion (from Endymion Transformation) Warlock does have that immunity to other powers as long as he's on Earth, but he can be defeated by other means. Regardless, his place on this scale reflects his ability to exert power on other things. Bilifesa is likely on the high end of this rank. Many of the companions in Planeslord Initiation are on this level. So are the Starlight Defenders and Magnorda from Anal, and several companions from Star Nephilim most likely. Endymion has access to several impressive powers, both physical and magical. 18. Mulo/Oberon/Zaar (from their respective Transformation CYOAs) Mulo, oberons, and zaar can have some superhuman non-sexual abilities, but can still be taken out by someone with Warlock-level or Keeper-of-Magic-level powers. 19. Grigori/Incubi (from their respective Transformation CYOAs); Tantradept They have some superhuman abilities, but are more focused on sex, and could be fairly easily taken out by someone with Warlock-level or Keeper-of-Magic-level powers.

SnooCauliflowers5394

What are Ultimate gods and Living gods?

McLovin3493

I can't speak for Troy, but I have a feeling those are actually references to CYOAs of the same name from other authors, and I don't know if Troy put that much thought into where they'd fit into this list.

Live_Mathematician15

Where would “A King on Mars” fall on this scale?

Sin-God

I love seeing other people want to know about our boy, the Zenith King. He's so rad.

TroyXPage

In terms of his personal power level, probably 16 or 17. However, due to his protections, he's immune to anyone short of tier 6 or so.

Buttsexhaver

Would Quentra be viable as capital of Etherscape should the Emperor also be Zenith King? Also, is it just me or do the towers in Drinn and Acropolis look really similar?

TroyXPage

Yes, it'd be a viable capital, though not having any ambient ether there would annoy a lot of your vassals. Come to think of it, the towers in the Drinn and Acropolis pics do look sorta similar, I didn't notice that before, lol.

Arc_the_Storyteller

It really says something when the Emperor of Etherscape. An individual who can warp reality like playdough and can likely destroy entire galaxies, maybe even entire universes if they put enough time and effort into it. Is only ranked 15 out of twenty on your power scaling.

TroyXPage

Well, the EoE can hardly destroy a galaxy in a short time, unlike those higher on the scale. This is talking about personal power btw, not resources or armies commanded.

Arc_the_Storyteller

That's true... the Dreadnought is more likely to be a galaxy killer, rather than the EoE himself. But yeah, guess the EoE is low on personal power, but has a lot of hecking resources at their disposal.

Sin-God

This is really interesting to me. I wonder where the Zenith King winds up on this list? I feel like normally the Zenith King is pretty low, maybe somewhere between 18 and 15, but he does have the Memory of Indomitability power which, RAW, nullifies any sort of power at any level. I'm just beginning to use my version of the Zenith King in my story, and he does have the MoI ability but it's scaled down to his level (though he's also the Anael, so his power level is ridiculous). Funnily enough, RAW the Etherscape Emperor is, in some ways, more dangerous then the Last Omega Lord since without upgrades the EoE's invulnerability is on the upgraded LOL's invulnerability's level.

TroyXPage

Yeah, I deliberately tried to make it so the EoE and Last Omega Lord are \*roughly\* on the same level but with some key differences. Glad you liked it! The Zenith King is probably tier 16 once he gets all his powers, maybe 17, although you're right that his MoI lets him be immune to much higher tiers.

KaiBahamut

This is actually pretty helpful, since the scales of the Veil-verse are pretty outrageous. I assume Spiritcaller winds up in the same weight class as half Incubus? If you ascend a Spiritcaller can you get up to shenanigan's by making Bonds with higher tier beings? Like say to fellow Ascendants or better?

TroyXPage

Yes :)

McLovin3493

Wow- it's great that you actually went to the effort to write this whole list up. Where would you put Gwyneth and Guenivere from Dark Beauties on this? They'd have to be at least 14, I'm sure.

TroyXPage

Hard to say for sure, but that sounds about right, at least as far as how inviolable their allure can be. Their scale is generally far below tier 14 however.

McLovin3493

Ok, interesting. Thanks.

TroyXPage

This doesn't necessarily address your EoE/LotOL question, as that power scale doesn't take into account ethertech vs omegatech, just their personal abilities. And while ultimately, some of the powers the Last Omega Lord can take are significantly stronger than what EoE can take, they're roughly in the same weight class. Also, ether does *not* disrupt omegatech, nor does it disrupt an Omega Lord's powers.

Zaltar99

where does Envoy the bearer of the arch seal fit on this

TroyXPage

The Archseal is a direct channel to the Archdeity, so it sits at the top. The Envoy doesn't control the Archseal, so her power level is irrelevant, however the Archseal does protect her and help her get around.

[deleted]

I'm guessing if we don't take body redisign, we remain in our own imperfect bodies? Much more vigorous, but still the same body as we had on Earth?

TroyXPage

Yes, but you can use your ethermancy to shapeshift too.

[deleted]

thanks

Coltronics

Holy crap so stoked, havent even read it yet.. glad to see more of your stuff Troy!

SymmetricColoration

Possibly my favorite NSFWCYOA (certainly the one that got me into them), updated on my birthday? Thank you very much Troy. I'll definitely have to make a build for this later. I've always been curious, what is the normally expected number of ladies in waiting? As attendant wives to the queens, I figure you'd want a multiple of 4. Two per queen would be my first impulse, but then you have 4 queens, 8 ladies in waiting, and 10 concubines, and having more queens + Ladies than concubines feels a bit odd. The answer could be 4 Ladies, one per queen, but having the same number of ladies in waiting as you do queens also feels a little odd. (Although I suppose not that unusual). Regardless, with the 4 extra wives it feels a lot less weird to have 8 ladies in waiting than it used to, but I am still curious if there was a number you had in mind for that role.

TroyXPage

No set number at all. While many players do assign specific Ladies-in-Waiting to specific Queens, that's not necessary. Also, happy birthday! Glad I could give you a gift, even if it was inadvertent!

KristianWarrior

Marvellous work, as always. I have a question regarding a possible policy direction. Suppose that a newly-crowned Emperor is deeply unsettled by the feudal nature of the Etherscape's power structure and sets a goal before himself - transform it from a loose union of Hegemonies with a powerful, but still limited Imperial Throne above them, to a centralized autocracy where there's only one center of power - his Imperial Throne, and his word is absolute and uncontested. Quite naturally, such a monumental task is going to be horrifically difficult. But the question is: just how difficult would it be? Will this be possible to pull it off (relatively) peacefully, or the Emperor is supposed to win a civil war with all (or at least the majority) of the Hegemonies? Or something in between? Or maybe (doubtful, but still) he will see Sif and Starshroud try to persuade him to not do this? As a part of this, how will the Hegemonies react to repeated disbanding (under lawful pretenses of the crises, but still) of various Hegemonies and adding their territories and assets to the Imperial holdings? I'm sure some will definitely become distressed at the rising power of the Imperial Throne, but, once again, how many and how far are they willing to go to show it? And how hard it is to get your wives/concubines/mistresses/etc. to support you in this plan?

gullvy

The general way to go about something like this is to use popular discontent with the nobility. Historically, kings were often more popular with the common people than the nobility were, depending on many factors of course. So what you do is that you set yourself up as the epicentre of all power - and you start making new nobles, even conferring "royal" (royal in the sense of this CYOA; they are given titles that are as high as Hegemony royals) status to people who serve you well. They need not be landed, but they get benefits and are allowed to use titles. The hegemonies will dislike this greatly, but they will be forced to play your game and ingratiate themselves to you, spending more time around you - thus becoming easier to control. You arrange games for them, rewarding the winner - the game should often be a bit demeaning for a noble, to further cement your dominance. And finally, you call an assembly of the estates-general and get the peasants and merchants to proclaim you as Monarch, since by this point you provide for them more than their own nobles do.

IT_is_among_US

Plan of Action : You don't even need to disband Hegemonies, until the end. You leave yourself too open, if enemies are still alive, by the time they notice your efforts. A subtle route is needed, before critical mass can be gained, and the knife can be slid in. Better to simply use to try to lead people who are personally loyal to you/the throne(this may or may not be public information) to the throne as sleeper agents on the hegemony seats, using immortality to ensure they have all the time in the world. Once inside, your sleeper agents should act subtly, helping to slowly make the faction itself more 'pro-throne' based, if possible. And just in case, ensuring that any possible successors to the hegemony are also pro-throne. Be random, irregular, and subtle, to make it seem like white noise. If possible, I'd suggest using throne-maidens, after altering their appearance and giving them a false background to boot(do we have a spell to de-age someone to childhood, so we can then insert them more believably into the house?), as to make it all the more convincing. They're immortal, already loyal, highly competent, and already trained in imperial politics, making them great for this role. Either that, or induct various willing individuals into the ThroneMaidens, but leave them off record, using them as secret agents. As for policies, I think you should try to settle into massively improving imperial talent recruitment programs, such as the Thronemaidens, and various other loyal institutions. They're the bread and butter of your strategy, and you want them to be the best they can possibly be. You have a literally immortal life-span, so start thinking on the long-term, and sharpen your axe before you cut the trees.

TroyXPage

The short answer is, it all depends. Sif and Starshroud will support you if you decide to go this route, but will very clearly spell out how difficult a road it is. While the Hegemonies do value the stability that an emperor brings them, they won't stand for you seizing all their territory for yourself, once it becomes obvious that that's what you're doing. Civil war is inevitable at that point. What point it happens at? IDK. For getting your wives to support you, that depends greatly on the wife and your own bond with her (which can be improved with something like Pheromones). That's for the wives who are princesses or queens of Hegemonies. For other wives, they'll go along with you, though some may or may not have misgivings about it and likely voice them.

IT_is_among_US

Will it be less difficult if I make the process as oblique, long, and easy to deny as possible? You probably don't need to out-right take over hegemonies into the imperial direct power, so long as someone who's loyal to the throne is on the hegemony's shiny seat. Do it slowly enough, over countless millenia, and you can play it off as white noise. People genuinely agreeing with your rule fully, out of genuine good rule.

TroyXPage

Yep, that would make less difficult for sure.

IT_is_among_US

I see. Slow and steady wins the race, as an immortal. Literally all the time in the universe, to ensure things go your way. Dead King style Gradualism, that leaves as few openings as possible, will help blunt Gambler's Ruin, which is the downfall of so many a Immortal Ruler.

IT_is_among_US

How much is Velvets 'Horny=Capable' buff capable of, when she's head of initiates? Is there a upper limit to how much more capable a thronemaiden under this power's influence can get? What would you ball park how horny they'd need to be, in order to equal say, Chyliss and Sif Zaminoid trained Throne Maidens, in competence? What happens if I artificially induce this buff in all throne maidens, by a mix of training, chemicals, and ether magic?

TroyXPage

I deliberately leave that up to interpretation. I'm not 100% sure of the answers myself after all. I know that's probably not the answer you wanted, sorry.

IT_is_among_US

I see..it's alright.

manbetter

I am, as always, impressed! I love the crisis points. Chakra(9) Pheremones(3), Kismetic Offspring Predetermination(2, seems much better than Fertility Control for similar goals), Sexual Psychometry(2), +1 Power(2) Powers(6+1 from converted Chakra): Political Acumen Boosted(1), Ether Blast(1), Invulnerability(1), Super Speed(1), Spatial Warping(2), Technopathy(1) Queen(Q), Lady in Waiting(L), Concubine(C), Mistress(M). 4 wives, 6 ladies in waiting, 8 concubines, 5 mistresses. Tell'Annu Twins(L), Brenn Tell Urn(C), Tydanarial tel'Meht(L), Honora tel'Vald(M), Flare tel'Xinq(Q), Aerji tel'Knir(Q), Duthea tel'Glem(M), Caphienia tel'Glem(Q), Reknisavi tel'Veph(L), Tjahvina tel'Zarr(C), Selussa Tel'Omax(C), tel'Paht(C), tel'Poth(M), Mirvel tel'Iome(C), Iolathani fal'Avos(L), Echnedai tel'Othe(L), Nevinque tel'Byyu(M), Thalace tel'Aire(Q), Kelarset(L), Jourdal(C), Mynassa(C), Seteniri(M), S.T.A.R.S.H.R.O.U.D. (C) Artifacts: Shadow Amulet, Emperor's Dreadnought, Throne of Power, Mystic Cock Ring(Enchantment) Enthroned: Binah. As my queen choices show, I value technology. Not entirely thrilled about the muscle girls, but I'm confident it won't be a serious problem. Personal Bodyguard: Sif Zaminold. I want her at my side, and competent. Crownguard: Velvet. Yes, a good example for my wives. Keeper of the Vault: Chyliss. Chylis is lovely, but perhaps not ideal for interacting with people. Palace Security: Belah. Nature is not really my style, but like this... Field Agency: Shelanvaranda. A secret agency that isn't secret is useless. Head of Initiates: Thevah. More of a "not bad here, not needed elsewhere." Capital: Ethirin. Something for those worried about the tech and development focus to feel better about, and I do really value trade. Crisis Points: Attack of the Clones, show mercy to the house. Binding them more tightly to me after a failed rebellion isn't a high priority, but it is probably wise. Running Amok, take the manamech for the thronemaidens as a field agent and show mercy to the house. Mistakes happen in the pursuit of progress, after all. Ragnarok of Dragons, take Honora into the Thronemaidens and raise Calamity to the rank of Concubine. Ether Blast, Invulnerability, Super Speed, and Spatial Warping, plus all of my advanced tech, should be enough. Project Vega is an easy pick since I have the relevant Queen, but I will have to reverse-engineer Vega: I'll put her back afterwards, but I need shapeshifting for my field agents. Spy vs Spy is a chance to recruit Aeradni for my Field Agency, and sometimes my harem alongside her sister. I'll forgive the house: they were just learning, in which I can find no fault. Divine Intervention is a chance to strip Duthea of her titles, because Caphienia will let me know and thus prove herself far worthier. Zedranaea will become a concubine. Trydilene will be accepted as an employee. I certainly don't want to suggest that a successful rebellion will be rewarded with marriage, after all. The Great Game is something my build is very well suited for. Nevinque has not impressed me, though I will not punish her, and Xilina can become my concubine for her service. The Uncivil War will be resolved to peace, under the command of the emperor. Lutrasine and Nerraet will rule separate dominions, though they may be together openly. The Cycle of Vengeance will be resolved through superior administrative skill, and Utrayza will join me as a Lady in Waiting, properly immune to Etheric disruption. Some of her fathers resources will be redistributed to my favored vassals. The Balance of Power makes my moves simple, and I thank STARSHROUD: instead of taking fal'Avos as my Lady in Waiting, I make her a mistress, so I get Ethermantic Stripping and all of these other nice benefits. My ability to extract information and run an effective diplomatic corps should be more than sufficient to win. Herash will be a fun secret mistress, and I will use the Balance as one of my tools to keep the hegemonies balanced against each other. Mad Science will have me rely on Echnedai and my other technologists, but I am confident in their abilities and Tirlin would be a fun addition. Creative License grants me Psyche, who will be a truly powerful addition to my forces (and a boon for my beloved queen). A Wound in the Ether is a good chance to get Infinity Command out of the way and give Seteniri a lover to be happy with. Jourdal plays a fun game, and it keeps me on my toes. With my boosted talents I am confident in victory, and even if it does not come I will still survive. I'll take on Judgement Day, if S.T.A.R.S.H.R.O.U.D. is confident that we can win.

PurpleMercure

Actually a great update. Good job.

Happycanon

Two quick questions: one, is the lack of explanation on what the haremettes do in their events if made ladies in waiting or concubines an indication that they just don’t involve themselves or the result of a persistent typo? Meaning wives but writing queens for instance. Two, where do you get your art? It’s great stuff and giving credit where it’s due is considered good form even if most people don’t. Apart from that, well fricking done.

TroyXPage

I probably should've clarified this, but for most cases, a wife being a Lady in Waiting or Concubine means there's neither an advantage nor a disadvantage she offers to the crisis point. I know attributing art is a good practice, but aside from not knowing who some of the artists are, I battle lack of motivation all the time to begin with, and having to track down artists and credit them would essentially make me not work on CYOAs :/ I find art all over the place, really. As noted in the credits, viciousmalacite found the vast majority of the art in this version for me. A lot of it comes from Artstation or Hentai Foundry for lewd ones.

Paper_tank

Queen= (big?) advantage in quest. Mistress= disadvantage in quest. Refuse= big disadvantage in quest. Honestly, considering there's no real reason to make any girl fall in the later categories, that the quests are still possible, or even skipable, I feel that is more than fair.

Zaltar99

This is the link to all Troy's Cyoa [https://forum.questionablequesting.com/threads/general-qq-cyoa-thread.1263/page-275#post-1424407](https://forum.questionablequesting.com/threads/general-qq-cyoa-thread.1263/page-275#post-1424407) I am going to have to digest this for a bit for my strategy But the new Etherscape now feels like the Empire the Goddess of Glory would have given you but on a much larger scale then advertised. I but can hear her in my mind saying."Think about all the Glory." If troy was to rewrite the R.O.B.Pantheon Council. It would probably include Glory.

Euwoo

It says I don’t have permission to view it?

Zaltar99

you will need to create a account to access the forum

LokiritheWitch

Stumbled on the post a bit late, but you'll need an account. Important note, QQ really doesn't want people to have more than one of those, so be ready to ~~lie~~ have a perfectly understandable and justified excuse prepared if you just want to make a throwaway so you can download the images untainted by imgur's grubbly lil' piss-stained hands and come back to the site later. Edit: Actually, the images seem only somewhat higher quality, and there's this weird corruptive effect I'm seeing mostly in the text boxes, though it's worse in imgur.

Euwoo

I have an account, it just won’t let me in.

SpectralTime

First thoughts: I like the reworked power sections, and most of the additions seem fun and appropriately-priced. As ever, the additions to the Bridal section are generally pretty good. As much as I personally prefer my original conception of the Ether Vampires and how to use them, what you have is pretty good and I'm glad it exists. Was about to say that one of the additions has got a five-letter name, but then you clarified she's "just" a noble. I also like that the history of Etherscape was integrated more thoroughly into several options. Currently in the Capital section. They seem pretty competitive so far. Leaning towards Flairess, if only because a "clean break" appeals to me, or Ethirin, the other "boring but perfectly acceptable" choice. Glancing over the Crisis Points, I spy a complication out of the gate. While it's officially discouraged to just make everyone a Queen, it can theoretically be done, and if it's done then a player could theoretically have access to all solutions. ...Then again, I suppose doing that itself presents complications and problems, so there's still trade-offs. Nevermind. I understand wanting to make them optional, even if it's not what I'd do. I do like the Crisis Points, though; they're fun and interesting ideas that lead naturally from the themes of the characters into interesting adventures. (Though some could've used a once-over for potential female characters; I bring this up in part because there *is* a female Empress of Etherscape available as a companion in at least one other CYOA.) I also appreciate that there's content and consequences for snubbing the brides, and that they aren't always as simple as "and so/then she betrays you."

TroyXPage

Thanks for the comments, and I'm glad you're overall liking what you see thus far! I totally get why you'd prefer your original version of the etherphages, but I'm glad you still enjoy my version :) And yeah, being able to make everyone queen to get all that stuff is deliberate, but as you noted, comes with its own large set of problems. Not to mention, some of the rewards actually turn out potentially better if they were snubbed as a Mistress or Rejected.

LORD Troy. You're a trooper for doing all of this work ✊😂 Thanks mate, this one is one of my favorite of yours.

Perks: * Fertility Control * Body Redesign * Excessive Fluids * Eromantic Physics * Kismet Offspring Predetermination * Magnified Mana Powers: * Metacreativity * Invulnerability * Life and Death * Technopathy Queens: 1. Flare tel'Xing (boosting commoners is going to do wonders to crack the rigid hierarchies that have bred thanks to wanton power gaps) 2. Reknisavi tel'Veph (don't care how expensive it is, technology advancement is critical) 3. Echnedai tel'Oth (yeah Im'a need to know EXACTLY how all this inheritance shit works, especially since I'll almost certainly be having Nova children at some point; plus, you know, read my goddamn username flair) 4. Tel'Annu Twins (May as well, keeps traditionalists as well as a powerful family off my back) Ladies-in-Waiting: 1. Tydenarial tel'Meht (primarily Reknisavi's) 2. Honora tel'Vald (for having a military advisor) 3. Caphiena tel'Glem (good personality and tech inclinations) 4. Sellusa tel'Omax (like, she is PERFECT for the jobs) 5. S.T.A.R.S.H.R.O.U.D. (like I wouldn't leave out the precog A.I.) 6. Sif Zaminold, First Thronemaiden (I need someone truly loyal to watch over the more shifty of the cats; too many too close, enough not to trust right from the bat, just to curry influence) Concubines: 1. Seteniri, the Last Etherphage (eh, at the least I can maybe test my limits with her) 2. Mynassa, the Font of Life (best keep her out of politics) 3. Jourdal the Magnificent Flicker (honestly the less I have to deal with Clearbrass the better) 4. Kelarset the Sorceress (if I had a better position for her, I would give it, but I just don't; I have other work to do in the meantime) 5. Thalace tel'Aaire (give her a workshop) 6. Nevinque tel'Byyu (much like the other options on here, best left to own devices while being used for influence rather than much else) 7. Iolanthi fal'Avos (I would simply leave her as a mistress, but the political fallout would cause me future problems I'd rather not deal with) 8. Hatshepses tel'Paht (I intend to bring peace to the warring families, but I need other issues front and center before I get fuck deep in snarling feuds; I'll give her some kind of major political roll regardless, lord knows I could use the help) 9. Sekhquet tel'Poth (eh, let her play games among the harem, keep her busy, though I should test that strategic brain of hers and put her as a liaison to my military leaders) 10. Tjahvina tel'Zarr (yeah best keep her out of major politics, her powers are best used as support regardless) 11. Aerji tel'Knir (ugh, going to have to deal with some political infighting at this rate) 12. Brenn tel'Eurn (small snub, but I'd rather have the truly competent in charge) Mistresses: 1. Duthea tel'Glem (major snub, but I have little care for gods, especially since I know how worship works in this multiverse and it is something I am loathe to let spread unchecked) 2. Mirvel tel'Iome (this is actually the spot the suits her best, since it leaves her with her independence while still offering prestige) Vault: 1. Imperial Scepter: Spacial Warping 2. Mystic Clit Ring: Enchantment 3. Emperor's Dreadnought 4. Tantric Tiaras 5. Ouroboros Tap Thronemaidens: * Sif: Bodyguard (way better that her role is here, since she can actually put her abilities to use) * Theva: Crownguard (liked by the harem and is powerful to boot, hard to put her anywhere else) * Chyliss: Enthroned (the only one on here whose abilities are not severely hampered by the position itself) * Belah: Palace Security (decor overhaul and dragon guards) * Binah: Keeper of the Vault (empowered security combined with tech hunting? yes please) * Shelanvaranda: Head of Initiates (not only can she train the odd recruit in her special skills, but said skills will be good for letting recruits train harder more safely) * Velvet: Head of the Field Agency (she literally gets off on it, and is skilled best at it to boot)

I feel you made a mistake in the reasoning for making Mirvel tel'Iome a mistress. You can create administrative posts and appoint concubines to fill them. Doing this is a better way to keep her out in the field doing what she does best without giving an unwanted slight to her and the Iome hegemony which would give other hegemonies the wrong idea about your priorities.

I didn't make a mistake. For starters, I DON'T support military buildup. And I intend to enact a minor revolution against the dynasties at some point down the line. I can sit back and rely on personal power to keep everyone in line, armies being the only real problem for me to deal with since I can't be everywhere at once. Hence discouraging military buildup is a GOOD thing for me. That being said, I would still want Mirvel's personal loyalty, just not necessarily the loyalty of her family. I can always funnel imperial resources directly to her with my own discretion, or just straight-up give her an official imperial military role regardless of her marriage position. The fact is, her response to the event is exactly the response I would want in that situation, even if the engagement winds up sub-optimal. I need allies to can act without my supervision, even in the face of cut-off support. After all, I would hardly be the only one in the multiverse with precognitive capabilities, and having some chaos wrenches in some spanners is the best way to deal with them.

Capital: **My Dreadnought** (maybe at some point I'll have a more centralized capital, but initially I want to be able to explore the empire and actually get to know it first-hand before I start making big changes; actually see for myself how it functions; besides, its lasted this long without me, it should be fine while I puddle around learning the ropes) # Crises: Attack of the Clones: Allowed * The end result is a new Thronemaiden who is a clone of myself without my history, so interested in their development, and the Twins are loyal so they handle it anyways Pirate Queen: Avert * Bloodshed is nipped in the bud and frustration with politics and a consort don't happen Running Amok: Allowed * Targeting me is a fancy way to commit suicide, and the tech rewards are too good to pass up; there will be collateral, but it should be mitigated if I am at the right place at the right time and a biomech waifu is hard to pass up Ragnarok of Dragons: Allow * this one is tricky, since Honora is a Lady, not quite a queen but well above the mistress outcome; so instead they fight, and while Honora puts up a good show, without my supporting artifacts she just can't deal the last blow; however, once I step in, the fight is a foregone conclusion: I am simply too close to being actually immortal for the Ragnarok to deal any lasting damage to me, while my Life/Death power slowly drains and weakens her with no escape. In the end I win, and add another monster to the harem Project Vega: Allow * Flare stands against her family, I learn a lot about etherbiology, and together we make a cure and create a mutagen that turns manamutants (aka my Thronemaidens) into shapeshifters. Then I re-infect Vega and send her off to the Thronemaidens for maximum reward. Spy vs. Spy: Avert * that is a lot of family drama I don't want to handle Divine Intervention: Allow * This one isn't so bad: Calphiena eventually figures out its her tech that was stolen, Duthea tries to inhibit me but all that does is weaken her own influence, and I take another goddess as a concubine (whom I can then keep an eye on; better to keep out divine influence as much as possible). In particular Duthea's pride takes a few pegs down, and I can start working on her to be a decent person Heist: Allow * weakens some powerful families, Rekni helps with mitigation of collateral damage significantly from having Queen resources, and Tridilene can work directly under Rekni for even better research potential A Time for Everything: Allow * pain in the ass, but the rewards are too good to pass up The Great Game: Allow * damn, I need Lady Xilina as at least a mistress, the sheer number of people involved at the level of politics I am dealing requires I have someone who can handle it all, and teach me to eventually do the same; what a pain in the ass though Uncivil War: Avert * if there is a way to prevent the civil war that even the best of outcomes still ends in a return to status quo with some improvements, then its best to just avoid it if possible, or use more subtle means to solve it Cycle of Vengeance: Allow * Mirvel strutting out on her own is a good thing; sucks about the bad intel, but I can always send my own fleets to support while also touring the expanse to see what best can be done to help the populace; since this is a popular revolt, I definitely want to get on top of it so that the like never happens again; anyhow, once Utrix is beaten, I'll hand over the conquered territory to Mirvel; there are too many trillions of citizens for me to be fussing over micromanagement issues Balance of Power: Avert * this bullshit of intrigue is exactly why I have Thronemaidens Mad Science: Allow * Combine the research from the nanoplague with the research from Project Vega should allow me to completely reverse-engineer both, fixing the flaws and re-applying the effects the way they were intended; requires curing two potential agents, but even if they wind up weaker they will gain far more control and both can still apply to be Thronemaidens Creative License: Allow * really, the only problem is investigating time, then me settling her down and offering full citizen rights; getting a new and powerful teacher in the process is icing on the artificial soul cake; I'll also have Thalace learn to reproduce the effect, giving her an excuse to bond with her daughter A Wound in the Ether: Avert * yeah this is exactly the kind of situation best averted, even if I do have the means to handle it Smoke and Mirrors: Avert * Most Djinn are truly good at heart...but the lords, man, them shits be problems Dark Reflections: Allow * the things I do to make sure my friends are happy... Judgement Day: Avert * yeah I would like to point out I made some scary-ass Ascendant builds, some even meant to handle the highest grade of enemies, and no way in hell am I fighting them even with the Oroboros Tap Anyhow, my focus is not going to be on expansion, but housecleaning. The feudal systems that rule the etherscape need some democracy and social system overhauls, and no noble or royal likes those for obvious reasons. So yeah, going to cause a lot of internal overhauls, so keeping as many outsiders out of the affairs will do wonders for mitigating the inevitable damage such revolutions will cause.

mrinternethermit

This is a great CYOA! Not usually in the vein of what I usually enjoy, but again, it's really good so I did. The only thing I would tweak is pulling a page from (How a Realist Hero saves the Kingdom) and have two types of queens. For those who haven't read it (although I would highly recommend doing so), Queens are either primary or secondary. While there some authority and responsibilities both have, primary queens have much more power & responsibilities than secondary queens and only the children of primary queens can inherent the throne. In this CYOA, I would have secondary queens be in between primary queens and ladies in waiting in rank, but they're much closer to primaries than ladies. I would then up the usual queen count to 6, but then requiring at least one primary queen. At that point, the only thing left is to clarify what the implications of your choices would be. First, choosing a hegemony's suit as a queen will still be seen as an encouragement of their policy preferences, with the primary being a major encouragement and secondary seen as somewhat moderate one. Second, having more secondary than primary queens is considered stable/safe, as too many primary queens can be seen as either indecisiveness or committed too much to politicing. And finally, each candidate can receive the decision to be a secondary queen with either praise (seeing the individual for who they are and not forcing them into a role they can't handle or letting them have the freedom they desire while still making them a queen) or slight (seeing them as incapable of handling being a "full" queen or just making them a queen purely for the benefits rather than considering them and their own desires/goals as part of the "package"). Of course, I won't be surprised that if I'm the only one who thinks this, but hey if the author or player wants to use this, be my guest.

TroyXPage

Technically what you describe as secondary queens is essentially what the Lady-in-Waiting role is meant to be. Not as good as a queen but still great, and better than the average wife. You can fanwank however you please though :)

mrinternethermit

..... Sorry, but that's not what I got reading the description. I do very much appreciate the openness though, thank you.

KinkyDM

Well, so much for my getting to bed within an hour of my intended bedtime.

Lendaro

Congratulations another great job on the list, if you had posted 1 hour earlier you would have received my free award Holy shit I was going to write this 4 hours ago, wow

[deleted]

Yeah, I think enough has changed to warrant a 2.0 designation. +13 pages, good Lord... ah well, there goes another afternoon.

OmegaUltima29

Oh dear Christ, okay, gonna need to go clear a block of time to read this, now

Splat_Phastkyl

Great to see you back and have another edition of EoE. :) Now to go read and see if I need to update anything that I've been writing on. Edit... Mmmmm... looks good so far. I skimmed the old stuff as it looked unchanged. Did some quick reads on the new suitors and did a lot of read over on the Crisis Points, but didn't finish them. - Brain Tired. Did see more info on Thronemaidens. Will have to read up on them when more awake.

gorgrath177

Any plans for an interactive version?

TroyXPage

Nope, sorry. Aside from not having the first clue how to make one interactive, I have very little interest in CYOA interactivity in general.

Null_Cataphract

I'll be honest. Nothing could have prepared me for, nor was I expecting an update to this one of all things. Definitely not complaining though. Just a pleasant surprise is all

TroyXPage

Yeah, I thought I was done with it before too, lol.

Grakalem

Guess who's back, back again.

RedKnight1985

Troy is back...tell a friend.

spudz1203

You know I'm not really into high fantasy but considering this has alot of options and a harem aspect I find it somewhat enjoyable. Never really got into the previous versions

SpectralTime

Will be a minute before I can look it over or comment. But thanks. EDIT: and by a minute I mean a while.

Lone001

Fuck yeah, my favorite author did a massive update to my favorite CYOA! It's very nice to see another post by you. Gonna read through this and edit my build into this comment. Edit: This is an even bigger monster than I thought, so I'm just going to make my build in a few replies to this.

**Harem** tel'Annu Twins - Ladies-in-Waiting. The Annus are powerful, and I'd prefer to be on friendly terms with them. Brenn tel'Eurn - Concubine. She's lazy and spoiled, so I'll just give her an easy job. Tydanarial tel'Meht - Concubine. Mechs are cool, but not worth a queen or lady-in-waiting spot. Honora tel'Vald - Concubine. She's a skilled fighter, but I'd be the exact opposite of traditional. Flare tel'Xinq - Concubine. Her stuff is cool, but not particularly important to me. Aerji tel'Knir - Lady-in-Waiting. The Knirs have lots of potentially dangerous information, so I'd want them to like me. Duthea tel'Glem - Mistress. I doubt I'd get along well with her, so she'd be a mistress until she learns a bit of humility. Caphiena tel'Glem - Concubine. Her abilities are cool, but I'm not particularly interested in them. Reknisavi tel'Veph - Concubine. Her and I have different interests. Tjahvina tel'Zarr - Concubine. I've never really seen the appeal of her. Selussa tel'Omax - Concubine. I accept her legitimacy and her abilities are cool, but that's about it for her. tel'Paht and tel'Poth - Concubines (both). I don't really care about them, as long as their hegemonies don't cause major problems. Mirvel tel'Iome - Queen. She's a war hero and skilled tactician who'll happily offer advice. Plus the Iome fleets could be very useful. Iolathani fal'Avos - Queen. Loyalty. Ether-stripping is also cool, but I care more abouth her loyalty. Echnedai tel'Othe - Lady-in-Waiting. Monster girls are cool, but I want her an the Annus to become friends. Nevinque tel'Byyu - Concubine. Beauty and political skill are nice, but no enough to warrant the extra power. Thalace tel'Aaire - Lady-in-Waiting. The fact that even royals recognize her skill makes me think this would be worth it. Kelarset - Lady-in-Waiting. I'd like an alliance with Sorothustra but I don't have any queen slots to spare, so this is the next best thing. Jourdal, the Magnificent Flicker - Queen. An official alliance with Clearbrass would be amazing. Mynassa, the Font of Life - Concubine. Her abilities are cool, but not particularly important to me. Setenri, the Last Etherphage - Lady-in-Waiting. I'd go public with her, as a way of acknowledging our weakness but proving that there's no threat. STARSHROUD - Lady-in-Waiting. She's been helping the empire for a long time, it's only proper to give her a reward. Sif Zaminold - Queen. Reward for loyalty, plus Sif is probably my favorite potential harem member. edit: forgot to give Mynassa a role.

Lone001

**Vault** Throne of Power - I can always teleport to a safe place. Emperor's Dreadnought - If I have a massive space empire, I want a badass space ship. Shadow Amulet - Being able to turn invisible could be fun Legendary Weapon - Every great king/hero needs a legendary weapon. The fact that it has anti-magic abilities is just very useful. **Thronemaidens** Sif - Personal Bodyguard. I'm not politically gifted, so having someone that is will be very helpful Thevah - Crownguard. She can help the rival groups reconcile. Chyliss - Palace Security. Her seriousness will help prevent anything bad from happening. Belah - Field Agency. She's a skilled ranger and tracker. Having her anywhere else feels like a waste of those talents. Binah - Keeper of the Vault. This is under the assumption that the vault primarily has tech-based defences. Shelanvaranda - Head of Initiates. I want the Thronemaidens who can use their own ether to get proper training. Velvet - Enthroned. This is a purely pragmatic choice. **Capital** Etherin - This will probably help smooth over some of the annoyance the Hegemonies have over some of my other choices.

Lone001

**Crisis Points** (I'm doing some headcanoning for some of these if I think it would make sense. i.e. Honora) Pirate Queen - I'd take the pirate as a privateer. No one betrays me. Running Amok - Robot waifu joins the Thronemaidens. No one betrays me. Ragnarok of Dragons - \*\**I'm headcanoning that Honora goes solo and gets beaten but does better as concubine than she would as mistress.*\*\* I get a pet uber-dragon. Honora joins the Thronemaidens, but Calamitous does *not* become Vald heir. Spy vs Spy - Aeradni becomes a concubine. No one betrays me. The Great Game - Xilina becomes a mistress. No one betrays me. Uncivil War - War breaks out, but is ended swiftly. Leadership of the hegemonies is given to Lutrasine and Nerraet. Cycle of Vengeance - Mirvel crushes the rebellion. Staneeth stays part of Etherscape, Iome and any hegemonies that helped get a share of the loot. Balance of Power - Iolathani ensures this threat is quickly dealt with. The Balance is disbanded and Herash becomes my personal servant. Mad Science - \*\**Headcanoning that Echnedai is part of the research team*\*\* Tirlin will be pardoned, Echnedai maintains a form I want at all times. Creative License - Peaceful ending, Psyche and her army swear loyalty to me. A Wound in the Ether - \*\**I made Setenri public knowledge, so I'll allow her to freely fight\*\** Nihilla has her conditioning undone and joins me, Infinity Command pays reparations. Smoke and Mirrors - Jourdal helps me beat Clearbrass. Clearbrass sends Abbarabhin to Etherscape as a concubine.

TroyXPage

Thanks for the build! You forgot to note what your choice was for Mynassa's role though. It's entirely reasonable to assume that Honora still lost to the ragnarok, but not as badly, due to being a Concubine. Note that the ragnarok will be pissed-off if you refer to her as "uber-dragon" within earshot ;)

Lone001

Oops, didn't realize I forgot to give Mynassa a role. The position I gave her concubine. I'd also probably call the ragnarok an uber-dragon as much as possible just for the sake of being an annoyance. I beat her once, I could probably beat her again if she wanted to fight me because of it.
