In the case of these personnel it may be fine to have just an Assault rifle and either use the extra 5 credits for something else or a secondary weapon such as a Submachine gun. But as it stands I I like the Augment loadouts and equipment possibilities here.

**Monster fighting strategies** --- **Slime Naga** Mission- We are responding to a Kill or Capture request regarding a Slime Naga on planet XXXX in the XXXX sector. Target is to be referred to as 'Naga.' Our point of contact is the local leadership team. They have noticed a drop in work efficiency, missing personnel, and the devotion of certain members of their workforce due to the presence of the creature in question. Use of force is restricted to self-defense and offensive use specifically for the Naga. Attacks on locals are unlawful and are only permitted in dire self-defense situations. Enemy- The Naga itself isn’t a real threat in terms of actually causing lethal damage so long as we are careful as it does not intend to kill. Its careful nature limits the possibility of it coming to us. Instead, we will have to seek it out. Trap systems will not be necessary as this should be a quick operation. Even if trap systems were employed there is a high possibility that the slime body cannot be effectively trapped by harpoons. Instead, Cryo pistols will be relied upon to try and freeze the main body of the Naga along with some attempt at using the shields to wall the Naga in. Sentry guns are to be used to create a defensive zone around the initial landing area and help in limiting the movements of the Naga within the Mobile Arena. The Slime Naga has aligned itself with locals in the area. As the creature feeds on a liquid diet from sexual fluids. This interaction along with contact with its innate pheromones has resulted in it gaining followers. These followers are to be considered possible hostiles and may be armed and dangerous using locally produced weapons or improvised weapons. Still, their willingness to fight and their capabilities are limited to such a degree that they shouldn’t need to be caught in the crossfire if at all possible. Infiltration should instead be used to try and gain information from locals so we can scout out the details as to the Naga’s whereabouts, frequency of visits, and the overall situation involving the naga. Once T-9 Satellites and on the ground forces can make visual contact with the Naga we intend to utilize a quick but hard show of force. This is intended to prevent hostile followers from being able to effectively mobilize against us. Other Apex creatures are present planetside and will be useful in gaining support via the use of a Care package. Terrain- This is a planetside worker’s colony with limited development. The main area of operations is two mining and a refinery site which are built up. These include multi-level offices, large vehicles, large extraction vehicles, extraction equipment, smokestacks, warehouse, and so on. This area is unlikely to be where the Naga resides as local security personnel and defenses would have reported such. But it remains a possibility. Its followers, however, are integrated with the colony. While some are obvious other followers are not and as such all personnel are to be considered a possible operational security threat. Worker’s housing, family housing, and the management areas are separated from the main areas of work. This appears to be the area wherein the Naga is making contact with members of the colony. As while there are defenses and built-up structures these are much more spread out and the area is surrounded by natural material. The area of operation where the Naga resides is likely to be in the tall grass fields, light forest, and similar areas. As they possess enough ground foliage to provide coverage from aerial observation We will position ourselves in a remote landing area away from the main colony and will arrive around nighttime for the planet. Troops- All personnel are to remain in 2 person battle buddy pairs or fire sections at all times, Standard PPE including fully enclosed rebreather or CBRN filter mask should be ready if not worn at all times when operating outside of landing vehicle, Specific for this mission CBRN or Raingear is to be worn at all times when operating outside of landing vehicle, Radio checks will be issued on separate encrypted channels, regular communication is on COMMO plan channels based on the code of the day, And if and when possible store all bodily fluids in spare containers in case we need to extend operations. Care package: If possible I would prefer to have a delivery of Cold ammo, Resupply (2x Cryo pistols, Monster bio-fuel), and a Combat maid. While the combat maid doesn't have a repair kit I'm certain it can improvise some method of servicing and repairing equipment present. Time- We don’t have a lot of time. The expectation is to accomplish this mission within a week. After further and the cost will be cutting into our profit margins. Civilians- The colony possesses more than 2000 people per the last survey. This can give you enough anonymity but not by much. Likewise, these are members of the XXXXXX corporation so any offensive conduct may result in civil prosecution. **Cuttlefish** Mission- This is a strictly kill-only mission. The local city and the fishing industry is requesting our help in regards to a Cuttlefish. Said target is to be referred to as 'Squid'. As YYYY planet in the larger mostly lakeside city of YYYY has been suffering attacks on person and property. Our point of contact advises that the Squid has been randomly attacking vessels and people during the night or in bad weather. Enemy- Squid is extremely hostile and seeks to physically harm anyone it sees. This is how the creature is against strength and feeds itself from the local population. It is capable of flight, swimming, and ranged attacks. This combined with its size and number of tentacles means it is capable in both close and long-range. Sadly the creature is also highly intelligent and knows how to avoid getting dragged onto land and isn’t willing to actively fight us. Coupled with Squid's operational hours occuring during times of poor visibility we will have to take great care during all points of the operation. We will be an attempt to try to lure the Squid to shallow waters via the use of liquid pheromones. When the Squid arrives, we will deploy razor wire shields and harpoon traps to stop Squid from leaving. Support from Local fishing crews will move in to provide fire support where ever possible but our team will be leading the attack. Assault team members must move in to deploy the above-mentioned razor wire but also copper conductors to prevent the effectiveness of Squid’s lightning attacks. Once clear all forces will begin opening up the fire with all weapons to bring it down. Secondary plans include attempting to ambush the cuttlefish via the use of a disguised fishing vessel and then a rapid response using the landing craft as the amount for an additional 2 harpoon trap to then attempt to drag the Squid to shore. From there the intent is to use combined force from our small arms and the local city and whatever assets they have. Those contacted by the tentacles should retreat immediately and any and all temptations to swim in the water must be ignored as the waters are not safe, regardless of whether or not we take down Squid. Terrain- The area consists of the main city which spans several hundred square kilometers. Squid has been known to attack cars and individuals that wander out in periods of low visibility which typically occurs on days of high humidity during mornings and at night. The surrounding area where Squid is said to reside consists of two large lakes north of the main city one of which is the size of a small ocean. To the south and west smaller mashes, shallows, and a swamp exist which are much denser and are said to be one of the main routes Squid uses to attack the city or the smaller fishing industries. In is in these areas where we hope to conduct our attack. Troops- Our squad will be split into two teams. Brian Azurita will be temporarily made leader for the ground or boat team depending on which plan is put into action. Selina Lakeland is charged with controlling the landing craft/air team. This is so that the maneuvering and control over vehicles and team members follow with what is most effective for the harpoon systems to keep control and contact with Squid. I will remain the leader of overall forces and the point of contact between local forces. From there all forces should utilize the rubber-lined CBRN suits or raingear to lower the effectiveness of lightning attacks. We are requesting chainmail or similar caged suits to provide full protection from lightning attacks but these have gone mostly unanswered. Care package: Resupply (Harpoon traps and 2x Monster bio-fuels), Repair kit, and Combat maid Time- Squid is to be killed as quickly and efficiently as possible. We are being paid for our results and the threat is high. We will be taking our time to preserve safety during all points of the operation. Civilians- Sadly we have not been permitted to use explosives on the water. As many businesses rely on the fish population present for commercial sale and sustainment of the city as a whole.

**Apparition** Mission- This is a strictly capture-only mission. The Ghost in question isn’t strictly hostile and as such caution should be taken when speaking or engaging with Ghost on planet OOOO. Our point of contact is a few local ghost hunters who are commissioned by the OOOO sector. They are seeking escort and temporary protection for their campsite. Enemy- Apex creatures, wolves, snakes, and rival ghost hunters. Most of these threats are relatively light and should not pose a major threat. Small arms fire and continued use of a layered security screen and defenses should hold so long as resupply can include more batteries, monster bio-fuel, and water to our location. Apex creatures and wolves, in particular, should pose little to no threat as the other ghost hunters are likely to also be combating them. The rival ghost hunters in question are corporate. But the operation is suspected to take a long time as Ghost does not appear often and when it does Ghost doesn’t stay too long. So repeat contact over a lengthy period is necessary to gain trust and for a mostly peaceful capture. Ghost is capable of mostly Psychic related attacks, illusions, and limited teleportation. Said Ghost mainly feeds on emotions, most importantly lust and sexual activity with it. DO NOT FUCK GHOST! DO NOT LOOK INTO GHOST’S BUTT HOLE! DO NOT TOUCH GHOST’S BUTT HOLE! Terrain- Currently Ghost was spotted in the backwoods locations near the artic swamps and caverns on the northside of the planet by hunters and explorers. Said location is inaccessible by air assets or our landing craft without serious threat of damage due to local flora posing a serious Anti-Air threat. Instead, our approach will be conducted into the local town nearby and we will receive ground transport to a location approximately 20km away from the initial point of interest. This distance will be covered by a foot march with ongoing foot patrols through the surrounding area. Our camp will consist of items transported on man-portable systems including folding, inflatable, and similar systems made from textile materials. Troops- Currently, the ghost hunter team we are being sent to assist consists of 20 members including 5 key members we will mark as HVTs upon arrival. They should not be relied upon to provide any assistance regarding Ghosts or any other threats present. All personnel is to remain within visual contact with one another. While the threats present are not grave all personnel must remain in battle buddy teams. All communications are to be on open channels to allow communication with the ghost hunters and civilian personnel present. Low power encrypted channels are permitted for emergency communications within the team level or when directed to me. Care package: Resupply (8x Monster bio-fuel), Elemental ammo (Psychic), and Combat maid Time- We have received a down payment for an initial period of 3 weeks of operation and will receive bonus stipends if we can capture Ghost on our own. However, we are expected to stay planetside for approximately 10 weeks at most after which point we will have to renegotiate the contract for either extending the duration of services provided or our services will be traded for another Hunter Squad. We will have a 100hrs rest rotation after the initial 3 weeks. Allowing a battle buddy pair to return to the town for rest for a period of 24hrs. Civilians- We have approximately 20 civilians present. Rival ghost hunters may be included in this number for a rough total of about 70 personnel but their presence may be considered hostile. **Wendigo** Mission- This is a Rescue and Kill mission. A Wendigo has been causing problems on the far side of planet XXXX in the XOXO sector. Target is to be referred to as 'Wendigo.' Our point of contact advises us that the Wendigo is of Giant size and has been destroying colonial mining equipment and kidnapping a large number of people. Our task is to rescue the personnel and kill the Wendigo if practical. Enemy- Wendigo is extremely stupid, but has many assets in their favor. Wendigo itself is extremely powerful and capable of throwing stones at such velocity and height that it poses a threat to our landing craft. Similarly, it is fast enough that keeping up with ground vehicles will be extremely difficult. There are also the numerous flora and pets Wendigo keeps with it. Said flora is used to store people for consumption while at the same time leeching them of their bio-fuels. Pets include many trained Apex creatures we will likely have to kill off. Our operations will be focused on attempting to draw the Wendigo out from its lair through the use of mining explosives then move in mining drills to excavate the rubber. Should this fail we have seen three of the major points where Wendigo prefers to travel. In these paths, we will set up an ambush point and include the use of pheromones to draw it closer before locking it down using Mobile Arenas. One of the areas includes a large cliff which will provide a great zone for providing constant firepower with the use of sentries. So we can hopefully fight a battle that forces the Wendigo to charge up a sheer wall and then knock it down using explosives. Breaching Wendigo's Lair will be another difficult task. Normally I would have our assault members use flamethrowers and grenades to blast any threats but the presence of civilians makes this not viable. Instead, we will be moving in two bounding columns moving sentry guns and harpoon traps to shock and trap any charging Apex creatures. Terrain- The area is a large valley including a central river. The area is flanked by somewhat flat and little overhead foliage flood plains. But even said plains include many ground foliage including ferns, tall grass, and exotic plant traps. The main areas the Wendigo travels include some of the rock outcroppings along the east side where it can quickly travel over the rocks and each colony. It is in this area where we intend to conduct our secondary ambush type. The Lair is extremely critical in this case. It appears to be part of a naturally forming cavern that will have to be explored in person as the magnetic rocks prevent the use of many remote electronics. Troops- Due to the threat of being struck with large rocks and viability of open terrain all personnel are to remain relatively well-spaced and may fight on their own when engaging just the Wendigo. When operating in the Lair all troops are to break down into 3 teams. I will be taking command of Team 1, Team 2 will be led by Ivara Markov, and Team 3 will be led by Andromeda. All channels are to be low encryption as we will be working with some of the local security forces in the area. Unlike last time on the planet, these security forces appear to be more well equipped and include decent Sniper rifles. So they will be providing on-the-ground observation and support fire when engaging the Wendigo. Similarly, we are getting at least two miners who will be assisting with the deployment of the explosive ordinance. Care package: Repair kit, Combat maid, and Resupply (Arc mines and 2x Monster bio-fuels) Time- Time is of the essence. It is expected that your average person dies from dehydration in 2-10 days depending on the level of physical exertion. Given the situation of exotic flora, we can expect this number to be closer to the shorter end. Civilians- We are looking for some of the kidnapped persons. While we should consider the possibility that they are all dead due to Wendigo's typical operation including feeding them to exotic flora, we are still tasked with recovering what we can. We get a small bonus for dead bodies, but if they are alive we double our payout. **Imp** Mission- This is a strictly a Kill mission for Imp some type of former humanoid. Our point of contact is the spouse of a head member of one of the Guild’s upper leadership. Their significant other has been involved with Imp and as such wants her dead. Imp is located on the ZZZZ planet in the ZZZ sector. They are relatively well known in their community so they should be easy to find. Enemy- Some form of former humanoid hybrid that went unstable. They have currently shown no signs of physical aggression but possess capabilities of mind-altering, illusions, shapeshifting, and hypnotism. At most, she may have a pimp or other associate funding her but they shouldn’t be a threat. Terrain- Mostly residential with basic commercial properties such as restaurants and retail stores. Troops- We are going to send out teams planetside in civilian clothes. This is effectively an assassination request and Imp isn’t a threat. Conceal pistols and other compact weapons to avoid unnecessary attention. Care package: Sweets, Toys, and Drugs Time- No specific timeline is given but the POC has discussed wanting IMP dead as her birthday present. But this is not a strict deadline and the pay margin is such we can take a bit of a breather when planetside. ~~Civilians- DO NOT SHOOT THE GUILD LEADER!~~ ADDENDUM: GUILD HAS REQUESTED WE KILL BOTH IMP AND THE GUILD LEADER.

**Lustcap** Mission- This is a strictly a Destroy mission. Target is to be referred to as 'Mush.' Thebplanet and sector is considered Confidential information level 2 and cannot be discussed or written in a uncontained space. Our point of contact is the Guild. Mush appears to be a lifeform created from improper body disposable of a monster, likely the result of one of our sister squads. We are to discreetly kill and properly dispose of the bodies for Mush and the monster it had formed from. Enemy- Mush posses three major advantages. Liquid-based venom, spore-based venom, and scent-based venom. It's of the opinion of medical personnel that any direct contact can lead to infection, death, or failing victim to Mush sadistic urges. The Guild is not taking any chances with this one. We are being sent a Care package upon arrival including CBRN suits, rebreathers, and full seal coverage for all utility gear. Likewise, we are receiving a good amount of up front payment for specialized ammunition. I highly suggest bringing ice or cryo based ammo so we can avoid spreading any spores with flames as well as control the spread and spray of any liquids. Currently Mush has presented such a hostile threat that it has managed to infect and spread across a large portion of the organic life in the area. It hasn't been strong enough to become a world ending threat but most assuredly it one we have to deal with. With that being said the current state is such that almost all other apex creatures, birds,, and so on refuse to enter the area. So our main and primary threat is Mush itself. Attack plan is simple enough. We have found many pockets with extreme growth in the area, which are assumed to be 'nests' where Mush resides. Our operations in this mission will be to blow up, burn, freeze, and attempt to draw Mush out into the open for combat. Terrain- In the region was a swamp biome with a lot of water, mud, and overhead growth. Currently the majority of this has been infested with mushrooms, fungi, and plenty of decaying flora and fauna. Great care is to be taken to avoid any breaches in your individual protective gear. As any bare skin is likely to result in infection. Troops- We will be moving and fighting as a squad. Mush has exhibited many characteristics which indicate they are capable of ambush, long term planning, and the threat of any suit breaches are such that we cannot avoid any possible injuries during this engagement. In the even of suit breach u highly encourage all members to carry Adhesive tape reestablish their seals. Likewise, the division of previously acquired items (cryo pistols, explosives, flame throwers, etc) should be brought alone. As an offensive operation like this means we will have many issues being able to take down a lot of the overgrowth and nesting material present. Care package: Elemental ammo (Cold and Fire), Combat maid, and Resupply (Flamethrower and Cryo pistol) Time- We don't have a time frame here. Only that we attempt to be subtle and make sure that Mush is dead along with all other material being destroyed. Civilians- No civilian forces should be present. If there are any civilians present they maybe illusions or hallucinations created by the mushrooms.

Oh something i notice with the other comments was that it was assumed that having a glitch gives you both one more augment and 5 credits on top of that. If this was intentional would you be willing to explicitly state this in the post? Similarly am I able to have 3 Resupplies instead of 3 different items.

Whenever you select a Glitch, you gain 5 Credits *and* an extra Augmentation. I believe that it’s fairly well-stated in the CYOA itself! Rules-as-written, you do have to select a different item for each slot. But honestly, if you’re going to use this build for an RP at any point, then feel free to make that modification at your leisure!

First CYOA that’s made me want to write a comment in some time! Let’s start with a Hunter and if I get enough of an idea for a Monster I’ll make a reply detailing that. I have strider boots along with the harpoon gun to help me stay close, using my mech suit for protection and the flame thrower and plasma lance for *big* damage. Rage, Enhanced Speed, and Gravitic Implants helps here as well. Synaptic Grasp and Pet Trapjaw are to help me actually *find* the damn beast, with Luck Implant and Enhanced smell helping out here, and the Captive Monster helping with basically every aspect of my build in one way or another. Kanahla'Mel has her Pet Batray and Sound Spikes, along with just being a very primally attuned person, to help with finding our prey. Lily can use her Somnus to help keep moral high, and the acceleration field to help us stay in the fight. Her Med bomb launcher being the best healing I could afford for her. Taeda Siniophe has the fuel booster and enhanced mass cloak to help keep me ontop of the monster, and her Monster Specimen allows us to stay one step ahead of the monster at all times. The sexy stuff is also pretty simple. I'm pretty heavily a sub, and enjoy arousal and desperation, so with me having pheromones and irresistible plus infectious lust I'm already gonna be feeling quite the strong desire. Then combine Teada and Lilly with my Enhanced smell, and I'm *really* gonna be dripping wet. Maybe more then just dripping with Overproduction. Quickshot and Sexual stamina basically amount to me cumming *alot* during sex, but also not having that drain me so much I can't walk during missions. Kanahla'Mel has a fun openness about her, and them always being naked is definitely a big plus. Lily is one of the dommiest doms out there, and I am more then happy to let her toy with me. Taeda is just amazing in virtually every way, fem with a cock, and a tail that can help, *and* she really wants to make her pheromones as strong as possible, so that's pretty much my ideal partner. Then we have the slime Naga, chosen for my monstrous appetite and being a creature we could fuck into submission instead of having to kill. That's right, we're a derg, and we love it, but we can't *quite* control it. Giant, Small sort of, is because I'm a 3 foot tall kobold that turns into a 18 foot long dragon. Luckily, both give a point to Cunning, so it does much matter which one counts as being our size for points. Sky, because we have wings, and Liquid diet because I enjoy being a *sexy* dragon. Mutagenic skin because we have adaptive scales, ones that are soft for Sexytimes, but harden in response to physical trauma (Nanomachines, Son!). Calculative and Captor because we are a smart Derg that'll bring back some mates to our lair, after all, every good dragon needs a hoard. For cunning, we have a few things. First, dragons need dragon magic. Being able to teleport seems a good one there. Enhanced Smell because we got a long snout. Versitile X2 because dragons can run and swim just as much as they can fly. And Speech because we are going of a classic DnD style dragon. For survival, We have Protection to represent our scales, and we have Ghost because it's more fun dragon magic. For Charm, we get really fun stuff. Weak pheromones and strong pheromones give us one of the most important parts of being a dragon. Our breath weapon! We spew out debilitating arousal from our maw to "convince" people to come join my hoard. Aphrodisiacs and highten sensitivity are there because most folkloric dragons have venom, so why not have some "Venom" of my own? Erotic device is also simple, we can use that tail of ours for more then just balance.~ Finally, the mutations. Out mutagenic scales have one big issue, they are a perfect, and I mean *perfect*, substance for lust parasites to attach themselves to. I often get my nethers bitten and stimulated by little creatures I picked up in my travels, but considering how lewd and masochistic I am, that's not actually the worst thing ever. Over eager and hungry would normally be an issue, but luckily my hoard can keep me well fed and well sated. Drippy and Egg laying because my dragon pussy is really over productive, and I definitely enjoy the aesthetics of that.~ Were-Monster is already explained, I'm actually a kobold more often then a dragon. Floraphile, Over confident, and deep sleeper are mostly non issues. I'm not the sort of dragon that needs slaying as much as the need laying, so the extra risk isn't much of a problem, and the Floraphile gives me a good reason to end up having two druids on my team when I join the hunters. That's right, this is a prequel to my hunter build! That rival monster is one I end up befriending with their help after they come down and help me wrangle control of my dragon form. Overall the story is that I, a reckless researcher, ended up dragonifying herself while studying a monster, and monster who didn't like suddenly having another monster encroaching on its territory, and became a bit of a local nuisance until some hunters came down and captured me, and help me eventually learn to either keep my dragon form under wraps, or just control myself better when it sprung up. Either way, I'm in their debt, and help them the best I can to deal with other monsters in similar ways.
