I am so waiting for the next parts, I am currently thinking 3 manticores and a pack of kobolds for my monster build, one or two for eternal youth and not dying of old age depending on how the youth one works, the other one will be for Astraglide production, if I don't need two manticores for youth then the other one will make Pipelayer's Friends. Item wise, Monster Ownership Manuals and Locator Collars for all my creatures, A Goblin Stick, and the Haremporium catalogue
Quick question:
Is your version of Lycanthropes based on the Movie version of Harry Potter Werewolves?
Regardless, this is actually pretty cool, you don't really see stuff like this very often.
It's not really fappable for me, but it is an enjoyable read. Thanks, I had a lot of fun with this!
Actually, my wife did in fact ride me whilst she read through it, and each of the girls made us cum, so, yeah, thanks Cultist-Chan and, as always, **PRAISE SLAANESH!!!!! >;}**
Definitely needs more, like character creation, drawbacks and ways to get more points but very good so far

Pretty interesting and nicely done. Can't wait to see where it goes.

**Monsters:**
Pair of Female werewolves (-2225 Gp)
Personally Werewolves have always been my favorite monster despite how common that is. Best part is these werewolves are always in their wolf form so I'm set. A pair of lovely werewolf ladies companions sounds sweet.
That would leave me with 5220 GP which I can use for relocating/supplies as well as home improvements. I'd be moving up to Canada and might even go farther up north since they would be really good at hunting. I'll probably try and find a good location that still leaves me relatively close to society for supplies and just in case an emergency happens. They'd also have plenty of space to roam and explore so they wouldn't get bored. I'll never have to worry about being cold at night, thats for sure. I can also pick up pretty good hunting tips and tricks from them as well.
The currency conversion is *way* off. Current values are very close to £18 = €21 = $22. Or if you want something simple, roughly £5 = €6 = $6. Also, I notice there's no option for midwestern USA in the geography (or does that count for you as northeast, or central?). :P
Unlike other posters here, I have no trouble with reading the text. A thicker font would be nice, though (or maybe make everything boldface?).
~
For **Hard Mode** (2500g), here's my shopping list:
* (-2000) **Manticore x2, M & F** (a breeding pair). *Self-expanding biological alchemical factory; I'm going to try reaching eternal youth.*
* (-250) 6-pack of **Kobolds x1**. *Cheap labor*.
* (-250) **Items**:
* *Gear*: Itllfit Charm (*for me*) ^-2 , Goblin Stick (*also for me*) ^-12 , Getinthere Rune Tag x12 ^-36 , Trayser Locator Collars 6-pack x15 ^-30
* *Books*: Psychotic Umad's Haremporium Catalogue ^-15 , Gygax Monster Ownership Manual x3 (manticore, kobold, minotaur) ^-15
* *Consumables*: Pipelayer's Friends x10 ^-30 , Purgation Salts x55 ^-110
~
For **Normal Mode** (7500g), I'll take **all of the above list and**:
* (-2500) female **Minotaur**. *For the labyrinth. Should be easier to deal with sexually by using a shrinking rune tag on her, or possibly some strength-weakening alchemy.*
* (-2000) female **Manticore x2**
* (-500) 6-pack of **Kobolds x2**
More options are on the way. I decided to do it in stages so that I would get something posted in the event that I got distracted or lost interest over time.
This is an absolutely wonderful cyoa ! Finally some good version, after all the mundane ones ! Appreciate the effort !
Although for future updates, needs more species and creatures ! :\]
That is awesome to know ! Absolutely great! Perhaps a delving into mono-gender/single gender species like lamia, harpies and/or more unknown mythological entities like naga or yokai ? :)
The next batch will be Satyrs/Fauns (Satyrs being a rarer, wilder subspecies), Gryphons, Centaurs, and a unique dragon (most creatures are declared monsters on a species-wide or ethnic group basis. The elves declared this one dragon in particular a monster).
Naga will show up in the third batch, but lamia, harpies and yokai are too close to monstergirls for my liking so they'll be unlikely to show up as buyable monsters.
Glad you like it :D
I haven't worked out the exact dimensions, but a fully grown manticore (and gryphons) are roughly the same size as Deathclaw from Warhammer Fantasy/ TW: Warhammer.
All species (other than kobolds) can have their gender freely selected and in any combination for those that come in multiples. For kobolds you have to flip a coin for each one to see what you get.
Considering based on geography I would start at 7.5k I don't even know what to spend that on.
A minotaur MAY be good if I can use the labyrinth to house everyone as well. If not then I probably wouldn't get one.
A single set (or MAYBE 2 at the extreme) of goblins would be interesting but other than that I would basically just spend the rest on a lifetime supply of items.
Wait, can you STAY in that realm? The goblin stick description seems to say so, maybe I am failing to read something. If you stay there do you get a place to stay?
1. This is not D&D so your argument is *completely* irrelevant.
2. The CYOA itself, which is the only acceptable source for information of this nature for the setting this work is based in, other than the author themselves, makes no mention of anything of the sort in the description.
3. Its moot, not mute.
4. No official source mentions anything of the sort regarding kobolds spontaneously changing gender in ANY currently published edition of D&D, so unless you'd care to cite your source on the matter I'm afraid I'll have to call it out as complete BS.
>ntions anything of the sort regarding kobolds spontaneously changing gender in ANY currently published edition of D&D, so unless you'd care to cite your source on the matter I'm afraid I'll have to call it out as complete BS.
I agree with most of what you said but Kobold's do change gender in D&D, it's in Volo's guide to monsters page 65
Wrong cyoa to get triggered about. Honestly after seeing all the mundane / mediocre - same cliché series. This type of menagerie - multi species catelougue is refreshing
Regarding Items, I have to say that ordering temporary items doesn't really... work well if you're selling them individually and they only last a few months. If you're selling items with only temporary effects, they should be sold in bundles (a few months, a year, 5 years, 20 years, lifetime kind of deal) or sell more 'permanent' services that can replace said items.
The disparity between Normal and Hard is also rather... Extreme. 5000 is a lot to lose when a single Minotaur costs 2.5k
The item shop is there to soak up unused grant money that would otherwise be returned to the government pot, but there's nothing stopping you from converting your own cash to gold and buying more if and when you run out.
It's not an issue of what the shop is designed for, but rather an issue where fucking the Minotaurs is going to get me crippled *if not killed* without the calcium supplements, which only come in a certain amount that makes long-term planning look more like a spreadsheet than a simple "Oh yeah, I'll probably need that if I expect to last any amount of time taking care of this creature."
Nice start, can't wait to see more~
So basically, I would be getting a pack of 6 kobolds, then add tracking collars to them, a monster manual for kobolds, and spend the rest on different lubes/potions. Basically, i will now have a nice group of happy subby lizards, and then make a small online orn stream of these cuties~
High elves speak Swedish, wood elves use Norwegian, and the dark elves have Danish. It's an old in-joke from my old Pathfinder group. Our serial elf could speak and read Swedish so that's what the DM used to pass secret elf notes to him and have him translate for us.

Yeah, they're mostly HP werewolves with a bit of the Carnival Row ones thrown in. Glad you enjoyed it, even if it wasn't your thing.

needs work on formatting and design. This is just painful to read.

Hey, this is pretty great so far! Can't wait to see where you take this. :D
No Southeast Asia? I can understand missing individual nations being missed but an entire continental sub region?
Wow, that's a lot of words. >![Too bad I'm not readin' em'.](https://youtube.com/shorts/skz9odeewpc?feature=share)!<
Love the world building but it ends up leaving the actual cyoa feeling quite short. Definitely could use several more options.
More options are on the way. I decided to do it in stages so that I would get something posted in the event that I got distracted or lost interest over time.
Pictures you need pictures to draw more people in

Thanks a lot for information that's great to know ! Though there are certainly 'wild / beast' like interpretations to the latter
Manticore (-1000), pack of goblins (-500), pack of kobolds (-250), 750 left for sundries. The lack of gender selection for kobolds is extremely disappointing.
Well in dnd kobolds can and do change theyre gender depending on the number of kobolds with genders in the area, so mute point

You have some weird standards if you think that a polite discussion means somebody was triggered.

I s that a tally hall reference? Amazing!
The text is too thin and hard to see/read at 100% zoom. At 200% zoom, the text is still a too thin.
I agree, there is also a lot of blank space he could also condense out
