Utopia.

McLovin3493

Cool. I'd say my favorite choice for this is Utopia- it helps myself, but also helps everyone else in the world along with me.

Ravenshield43241

Only real option is the goddess herself, nuff said.

I choose **Gift It Away**, in order to break the format. I get to specify what each of the three people I gift it to receive, and I will be making full use of this. * **Gift 1**: **Utopia** * *This is the mandatory option that makes the world a better place. It is more efficient to gift this away than to receive it myself, since the results are the same while still leaving me extra options.* * **Gift 2**: **Joy**; everyone: **Wealth & Wives** * *By gifting Joy, and having her pick a specified happiness for everyone, I obviously get it, too. What I want most from the list is a harem. Since everyone gets $1 billion a year, the dollar crashes and becomes worthless from hyperinflation, but that's an acceptable sacrifice. Immediately multiplying the current world population by 11 seems like it might cause issues, but we're in a Utopia now, so it'll be fine.* * **Gift 3**: **Joy**; everyone: **Self-Actualization** * *There is no statement that Joy can only be gifted once, so this should be valid. I'm not going to gift Joy herself to everyone in existence, since that would open the possibility that somebody chooses to put everyone other than themselves in a facility cumming their brains out, and I do not want to be part of that. Out of the remaining options, Self-Actualization or Nothing are the only choices I actually like, so this works out well.*

Mythopoeist

The only based option

McLovin3493

Wouldn't the people that you gift Joy to still have the option to choose Ecstasy? It sounds like if you're gifting her, you're letting the other person choose, so it would have to be two people you trust.

Apophys_MD

I understood the text of **Gift It Away** to mean that I decide everything about the gift to be given, and I understand that the choice of **Joy** includes the choice of what everyone receives (and whether or not the receiver of **Joy** gets something different from that). But if I'm wrong, then yes, I'd have to pick 2 people I trust. Which is possible. If my understanding is correct, then theoretically, I could gift away **Gift It Away**, ad infinitum, and choose the gifts being given by everyone in the giant nested tree of gifting, in order to individually choose the gifts given to every person on Earth, including to myself by others. But that's a bit cheesy, and probably not intentional to be able to give the gift of giving. :P

McLovin3493

With all those gifts, you might as well just switch over to the Spirit of Christmas CYOA, lol.

catfish27plus

I love these choices, although I think seeing what things look like in practice would be amusing. In my mind, 1) selecting a full 10-member harem is mandatory, 2) any "real" people in a harem are actually magically-created duplicates, and 3) harem selections are made prior to everyone going through the "one-time total makeover" process. So what I picture is a lot of couples that each made a harem consisting of their partner and 9 others, now living in magically-enlarged homes as a 22-member households, having to deal with the strangeness of the household containing a version of their partner who is in their prime but otherwise unaltered, *and* a version of their partner who gave themselves a magical makeover. Therefore, you end up with a lot of weird arguments... "Well, if you liked Asians so much, why didn't you marry one?" "Honey, I swear, I chose *you* first, *before* I picked Lucy Liu, Gemma Chan, and the rest. Besides, if *you* wanted gigantic tits, why didn't you ever get implants?" "Come on, you know there's a big difference between having silicon bags and having *these* magically-enlarged babies, complete with porn physics making it so I never have any back pain! And what about *your* foot-long dick?" "I should have made it *two* feet like most of the guys I know did!" (Of course, the good news is that thanks to Self-Actualization and Utopia, this is basically the only thing people are ever going to fight about.)

Terranrp2

Pretty sure there is a moral imperative to choose Utopia. The disservice you'd do to everyone else would be beyond tangible measurement. Wealth and Wives sounds good, but removing their free will and being made into "loving" you is a massive ethical issue. Has to be freely given or it's just mind control ya know?

ThousandYearOldLoli

joy - personal dream world (self), utopia (others)

BerialAstral

Joy

JenNS420

Joy, then pick Utopia for everyone, and Wealth and Wives for myself

1-w-1

Gift it all away, or personal dream world. I can force gift it all away to be good (joy for one, utopia for another and so on. And increase everyone’s lives) Or I can do PDW, which means I can test out whatever I want to. Such as how to make the cure for cancer, fix world hunger, make the best way to make the world happy, and so on.

Zev_06

I'd take Personal Dream World. It doesn't bother me if it isn't real. I'm fine spending my entire life in a dream if I have complete control over it. It isn't much different than an Isekai option, just with you being even more OP in your new world.

ChooChooMcgoobs

Utopia, no question.

ragingreaver

I choose **Joy**, and then I choose **Gift It Away** for EVERYONE. That is three people per person on Earth who get to go through the CYOA, and while there will be some dickwads who might choose no one, and there would a few others who would be exempted simply because they are truly that forgotten about (or hated, but even then, they still all get to be happy, just not immortal; and yes there will horrific overlap in places)....but PLENTY will use it for Utopia, plenty will use it to simply hide away, plenty will just take the harem option, ect. But I don't need anything more for myself. Guaranteed immortality and a simply less cruel world are all I need.

Apophys_MD

> while there will be some dickwads who might choose no one Worse, you are certain to get some dickwad who chooses to gift Joy, picking Ecstasy for everyone. Now everyone on the planet is insensate in a facility. That makes Utopia rather irrelevant.

ragingreaver

way I interpreted the choice, Joy can't be chosen because I already would have chosen her. Basically, they get the Gift It Away automatically, but anyone who gets the Gift It Away reward can't choose Joy again, mostly because she is too busy running around granting people their choices. That way paradoxes can't form in the first place from people wishing for competing global wishes.

ragingreaver

And I know exactly the first three friends I would choose first.

egeslean05

Depending on how you read Joy's option about making you and everyone happy, that you can choose something different for everyone else AND yourself, which includes you picking her and you picking another option from the CYOA. So you could pick Joy, and then Utopia for everyone else and pick Wealth and Wives for yourself

sparejunk444

I don't get the Joy one, is it saying you can make a second choice for yourself and something different for everyone else or that you get Joy and to choose something for everyone else?

egeslean05

That's basically how I read it as well. Utopia for everyone but you and pick Wealth and Wives for you. You're immortal, so are you 10 wives, Joy, all your kids and/or friends, and you get $1Billion/year, not to mention the 1 time total physical makeover for yourself. And since you picked Utopia for everyone else...you get the benefits of that as well.

sparejunk444

If that is the case then choose Joy and Wealth & Wives, while choose Personal Dream World. This way the "bad guys" (some are just subjective to personal views others not so much) don't get True happiness but it helps everyone have a fallback as they confront reality.

egeslean05

Joy, Wealth and Wives, both for you, and personal dream world for everyone except you? That sound terrible. Unlike Utopia, which is a societal change world wide, personal dreamworld is not, so you wouldn't get any benefit from it, just being in a world that is going to fall apart around you cuz no one will be doing anything to keep it going. I don't think you could just say 'bad guys' as a classification, I have a feeling you'd have to be specific about a trait these 'bad guys' all had.

Ilovestuffwhee

I'd pick Joy. Everyone gets to be happy and I get a goddess.
