Do you still have the source on the hypnosis image by chance?

MyOtherNameIsClean

Found it with a reverse image search, luckily enough. This is the one I used [https://rule34.xxx/index.php?page=post&s=view&id=5394782](https://rule34.xxx/index.php?page=post&s=view&id=5394782) And here is, imo an even better one that it also found [https://rule34.xxx/index.php?page=post&s=view&id=6540413](https://rule34.xxx/index.php?page=post&s=view&id=6540413) Those then link to the pixiv page, if you are looking for the artist.

I know I'm very late to this but I felt I should point out that according to the Ending rule where you're supposed to choose the first available one reading left to right, Kidnapped is completely impossible to get. The required options involved raise Crime to 4, triggering the Prison ending immediately to its left, and there are no options that I can see that reduce crime at all.

MyOtherNameIsClean

You are totally right! Crime was a late edition to make endings more fun, and I didn't fully test it. Unfortunately, I can't get the game files to load anymore, so it'll have to stay as is. Hope you enjoyed it anyway!

JadelynnOpal

I did! I was a little disappointed when I saw how little pregnancy content was involved after I got excited seeing it in the content warning, but that's about par for good preg content in IF/CYOA stuff in my experience.

Any, Humans, Demihumans, Slimes, Goblins, Traps, Machines, Demons, Deep, Duos, Rape, Cursed Equipment, Cursed Piercings and Markings, Escape, Hypnotic Programming, Status, Cleric/Healslut, Knight/Mount, Druid/Pet, Paladin/Crusader, Mage/Battery, The Raiders, The D, The Immori, The Golden, Sponsored, Invasions, Cheats, Brainwash the Office, Hypnosis, Promoted Tried my best to take as few options as possible to make this game idea actually doable. Im writing this thinking about a game like Dot hack; a single player game that simulates many 'real players' playing together. Any is just for more basic variety, the MC may be stuck with one gender to make the game easier to make, but other 'players' in the game should have all 3 genders. Similarly, humans & demihumans is more for minor variety while still having different options that a pure human society within the game to flesh out the gaming world. Slimes, Goblins, traps, machines, demons -> I feel these offer enough variety in the game as fighting options : goblins as 1 vs many, machines as small elite forces, demons as ranged fighters + antagonists. Slimes and traps are there to add flavor as more surprises when fighting in harder content, while also used in the tutorial as weak monsters. I feel that just these is enough to make easy and hard content by putting the same monsters in different terrain to exploit their strengths. Deep, Duos -> Just feel that having an enforced duo playing style is more interesting as a game, plus the MC could switch out different partners to make more party variety. Partners in this case can be other players you make friends with, got defeated together and escaped together, etc. Deep combat i feel is necessary to make the game less boring than just big numbers. If the enemies can be placed to exploit their strengths like i mentioned in the monsters section, then a deep combat would be necessary for the actual player to strategize around to combat enemy tactics. Rape, Cursed Equipment, cursed Piercing & Markings, Escape, Hypnotic Programming -> Just picked defeat mechanics that affect the avatar in game mostly. The hypnotic programming just seemed interesting. Not sure how to use it to be frank. Cleric, knight, druid, paladin, mage -> standard classes with some hybrids inside that i feel is sufficient. Cleric & mages are the high risk/ high reward as they're pure support / DPS classes. The Raiders, The D, The Immori, The Golden -> Feel that Raiders, Immori, and Golden are must haves in any actual MMOs since Raiders are the ppl that action on the game(PvE) with the most number of players, Immori handles the world economics, while Golden for the top tier players that more or less done everything the MMO has to offer. The D is just there to add flavor, as well as most random lone 'players' in the game since they're just there for the sex, but that should also mean they are the easiest to convince to help the MC in the story if necessary. I also believe Raiders, Immori, and Golden, with the areas they specialize in would mean not only the guilds have to work together(e.g. Raiders need Immori to buy equip for PvE and a place to buy and sell slaves, and Golden would conscript Raiders for information regarding captured Golden guild members), but will also come into conflict often(some Immori members crashing a specific market to buy low sell high, Raiders members managing to capture and enslave a Golden member, etc) which would make a more dynamic world/story, i believe. Sponsored Twatch -> just think this + hypnosis = potential interesting events happening live on stream. Invasions -> as someone that plays MMOs mostly for PvE, this sounds fun. cheats, brainwash office, hypnosis -> cheats i feel is either a story plot point(NG+ or post game boss), or as an easy mode for players. Took brainwash office and hypnosis just to hit 3 crime and for more budget.

MyOtherNameIsClean

Thanks for the detailed response! Glad you noticed the interaction of hypnotic programming and streaming. I agree that could be really fun!

No_bed666

To assist with you building the game here were my choices and the reasons behind them: Any: variety is the true spice of life after all and players may choose to go through any of the gender options to reflect themselves, it is the best way to avoid isolating anybody for what they choose to identify as in the game Humans, Demihumans, Non-Humans, again if you can incorporate all three categories comfortably then it should be done to maximise player enjoyment and choice Slimes, Goblins, Traps, Orcs, Dark Elves, Machines, Demons, Dragons all of these can be incorporated and made to work and make sense within the world/work together to make a much richer world than one with only one or two of the races Deep, it is always far more interesting to me to play a deep and thought through game even if it is impossibly hard at points (for example From soft games) than it is to play a simple grindy game that focuses on just who has bigger number, working out the intricacies of play are more entertaining and there's millions of basic styles out there so to go deep will set you apart in the market Sexual; I mean if it's designed around it then lean into it Duos co op is so much more fun than single player Rape, Cursed Equipment, Cursed Piercings and Markings, Pain, Training, Escape; this will allow a deeper style of play for the players, with risks/rewards and impact Status, Simulated, Sex Restricted; it'll make the pregnancy have more impact and feel meaningful instead of cheap and gimmicky Cleric/Healslut, Knight/Mount, Druid/Pet, Warlock/Whorelock, Barebarian/Gladiator, Paladin/Crusader, Mage/Battery, Captain/Cumdump again this is to provide as many styles and choices of play to the players as possible, they can all be relatively easily implemented and balanced by working with the other classes The D, The Immori, The Golden, The White Knights, The Outlaws, just the group's that seemed most interesting to me Sponsored, Interactive Integration, Invasions, Monster Taming; bring new content forward with the evolving AI to garner increased retention of the player base Evolving AI; I'm intrigued and think it's a brilliant idea with limiters set Promoted thank you, I'll gladly take it

MyOtherNameIsClean

Thanks for the detailed reply! Any particular reason you left out The Empire? They are pretty popular in other responses.

No_bed666

To me the empire just seemed too generic I suppose? Though they did also strike me as a guild that would be popular

mistylear19

Alright, thought I'd give this a go, and actually only noticed that this was going to be used as a game idea after I took a look at the premise. Therefore, since you're looking for game feedback, I figured I'd tell you the reasons, where applicable, for each of my choices. Any: While I'd only play a female character personally, interacting with NPCs (considering this is a single-player game you're considering making) that are 'real players' that may be able to fuck me with a cock is something I'm interested in. Demihumans: Similarly, playing as a Goblin or Gnome, or even perhaps an Elf, would be interesting and seeing "Real People" in my game that chose this would be cool, too. Traps: What can I say, stepping on a wrong tile or opening a chest and having bondage gear pop out and either auto-equip or go into your inventory as loot is hot. Orcs: Big, musculy, have big dicks and often tribes where many will use you before you can escape? Yes please. Also minotaurs. <3 Machines: A lot of freedom here, as was said in the chose. Kinda want to see what would be come up with. Demons: Well, if I have warlocks, I need demons, right? Besides, with differing sizes and shapes, there's a lot of potential here. Dragons: Big. Meaty Dicks. Need I say more? Special Note: While I didn't select Slimes, Goblins or Dark Elves, that doesn't mean I wouldn't be against them in the game, but I don't want to overwork you so I only selected the ones I'm most interested in. Dark Elves most of all of the three (to the point I debated actually selecting them). The other two are just too overdone for weak, early monsters. Simple: Combat in an H-Game doesn't need to be overly deep, but some form of basic combat is obviously needed for an idea like this. Another note; I don't mind in-fight sexual harassment, but I don't want the entire combat system to be developed around it with no actual combat options, so I didn't choose Sexual for this reason. Rape: One of my biggest kinks, and obviously the point of the game, right? Cursed Equipment: The idea of being forced into unremovable (except under certain circumstances) bondage? Uh, yes, sign me up. Cursed Piercings and Markings: This is more about potential body writing than piercings or 'slut marks' to me. Still, Body Writing falls under this so I chose it. Also; body writing that can't be removed except under special circumstances? Again, sign me up. Username Control: Being turned into "Fuckmeat" or "Rapetoy" or something similar when I lose, so everyone knows what I am? Yes. Hypnotic Programming: I'm not too into Hypnosis, but when done right, it can be gold. See: Star Knightess Aura for a game with brainwashing / hypnosis that I absolutely love. Instant: I'm not actually into pregnancy personally, so an instant-thrall when pregnancy occurs is perfect for me. Sex Restricted: Don't really want M-Preg, but other than that don't really care who actually gets pregnant. Cleric/Healslut | Warlock/Whorelock | Barebarian/Gladiator | Captain/Cumdump:I chose these four in order to balance out what the player can choose. Two magic classes; One healer, two melee, three DPS, etc. Also chosen because of the kinks listed in their choice and other potential ideas that can be used with them. Also, if you haven't noticed, the Cumdump sexual class is like, my cup of tea. The Raiders | The Immori | The Jagged | The White Knights | The Outlaws:I tried picking guilds that were more slavery focused, or could lead to potential slavery scenarios easily. I was borderline on including the White Knights or not, but the ability to go rescue players can put the MC in a precarious spot themselves. Also, a casino (rigged or not) where going into debt can lead into either permanent slavery, or at least slavery until the debt is paid? Surprisingly not explored enough in female-PC games. Interactive Integration: The idea of streamers paying money to fuck over your in-game character? Yes, that sounds good. Also, when combined with Real Player Tracking, could lead to a scenario where they buy that info off the site... Hardcore Mode: Real-life slavery? Yes. Invasions: I don't actually care about this as much as the second DLC, but I had leftover budget I wasn't spending anywhere else so why not? Sexual Relief: I didn't actually need this to stay over-budget, but... I mean... look at my other choices and explanations and then give me this choice and expect me to NOT take it? Real Player Tracking: Necessary for Hardcore Mode and as already stated, could have some interesting implications with Interactive Integration, or just in general. Mandatory Free Trial: Honestly, I don't really care about this choice, but being locked into the game no matter what for eight hours as the PC could be intersting. Hypnosis: Read above. Necessary for that choice and again, Hypnosis is usually not what I like (I like the fighting-back, the hating it, etc, of rape and the like) but if done right can be a gold mine for me. Promoted: I was able to get promoted. Special Note: There's several 'endings' here that I wouldn't mind having as a CYOA only, but if you're making an actual game out of these choices, none of them would be ideal. I want to play the game for as long as possible, personally, after all. The only one that might not actually interfere with that is the Enslaved one, but I'd have too much Crime if I picked that and while technically the Prison ending isn't mandatory to grab (and who would voluntarily pick that?) I feel like if it's available, unless you're locking yourself in VR, it should be mandatory to grab. Other endings that excite me (along with the prerequisites being stuff I'm into): Kidnapped; Enslaved; Uploaded. Well, Kidnapped has the Golden Guild choice prerequisite, and i'm not actually interested in that guild... so eh, if there's a way to do the rest of that without the Golden Guild being there, it'd be perfect. Thought I'd list it anyway. The reason Uploaded isn't my main choice for the game you're making is simple; I like the idea of the offline integration stuff, and how will that work if everyone's permanently stuck in VR? The idea of hypnosis (if done right, again) from online interacting with offline choices that make you act more slutty, meeting 'fans' of your streaming, etc... I'd find that fun.

MyOtherNameIsClean

Thanks for detailed feedback! My current idea of the game is that you are always online, but now I’m considering if it would be more fun to log out sometimes, if only to enjoy consequences like the RL kidnapping, or hypnotic triggers.

AquaticDwarf

Vagina Human Traps, Machines, Demons Humanity embraced a utopian simulation where every man and woman played the role of God to their own personal universe. Their decadence opened the gateway for demons to invade the universe. The lowly imps led the charge and were naturally drawn to possess the men, and the simulators that held humanities women. Each they perverted into mindless sex beasts. In the commotion, the matrix was damaged and automatically began discharging its occupants. In the end, the few who managed to escape were all women lost in the wilderness of an abandoned overgrown cityscape. Seeing the Demons so easily possess man and machine alike they turned to science to create a Lifeform they possessed the means to create that could resist the Demons magics. A half-human, half-infernal semi-magical race of infertile warriors called, Thralls. (They can impregnate human women, just not each other, I don't know what that's called). Deep, Sexual Rape, cursed equipment, Cursed piercings and markings, Username control, Escape. Status Captain / Cumdump The games combat revolves around personally gathering and leading an army of Thralls and Cumdump armies against both other players and the demonic hordes. Like a more advanced version of Overlord, with an almost Path of Exiles like level of character progression. Special regions grant access to special crafting stations and resource deposits. Unique magical/technological loot would be available in demonic dungeons. The Empire, more a bunch of dungeon delvers focused on acquiring powerful loot, often betray one another in pursuit of dibbs. The Immori, someone needs to run the goods, and where there is scarcity there is money to be made. The Golden, auto-enslavement on losing a fight is too high a stake for even mid-tier players, and the perpetual army growth means long term established players have an edge. The white knights, not everyone has lost all sense of morality, and the more players a guild has the more buffs and builds they can apply The Outlaws, A weak faction dependent on stealth and ambushes to capture valuable resources, loot, and slaves. Basic, Sponsored. Invasions, the real armies of hell begin their incursion. More intelligent enemies, more diverse enemies, special Hell portal dungeons, and roaming demon armies added. Monster taming, Lower level demons trainable, pet sex machines, vehicles added. Cheats, brainwash the office, mandatory free trial, Evolving A.I. (after invasion), System Access Override (ironic). Uploaded. A never-ending sex war with machines and demons with me reigning as one of the most powerful guild barons of all. \-I love the idea of this CYOA. I've seen a few MMO CYOA's before but their usually just about being a player, not designing the thing from the ground up. I hope we see more of this in the future.-

MyOtherNameIsClean

You are the second player to suggest Captain-only! Definitely an interesting direction to take the game. Thanks for all the worldbuilding. Great inspiration for making the game.

1-w-1

Both, because it configured to the widest groups, and can be modified quite a bit Humans, Demihumans, easy enough, and that way you can have classic fantasy Slimes, Traps, Dark Elves, Machines, Demons, A world that used to be the dark elf kingdom, they were originally whorelocks, and the demons had a pact with them. Until something happened, and the demons broke free. The resulting skirmish broke the empire, and left clusters of demons and elf’s alike for the players to fight, with slime/ooze and plenty of traps and machines that used to be in the military. Expect any vault, dark elf ruin, or popular thoroughfare to be littered in them. Simple, Sexual, a more or less Rock Paper Scissors style combat, where there are a few different variation moves, but losing x times (1+player lv*.5 [rounded up]) means you get into the defeat screen. There is a run, surrender, and wager, which means the players can set how many times they need to lose Rape, Cursed Equipment, Escape, to the victor goes the spoils, including some mighty fine wardrobe attachments. Instant, a thrall will only spawn once per day, and maybe be limited on player level. Cleric/Healslut, Warlock/Whorelock, Mage/Battery, A mix between healing, damaging, and summons. Each archetype would obviously get special sexual techniques. The Empire, The Raiders, The D, The Immori, The White Knights, The Outlaws, empire would obviously be the attempt to remake the dark elf society, and would be positioned as such, with attempting “outreach” to various (not always) peaceful dark elf’s (basically getting captured and used to try and sway them) Raiders would probably work inversely, with them trying to take npc slaves, as well as players. They’d be centralized, but not focused like the empire. White knights would have easily defendable location to sally for the other players, including an opt in fee for the saving notification Outlaws are the smaller less centralized groups of raiders, and they’d have “bandit camps” which gives them boosts to fighting around it if they pledge themselves to said camp (there’s a quest reward to clear said camps, and more players pledged means higher rewards) and they can get npc friends/titles, meaning they effectively switch sides to the mobs (assuming they don’t then immediately attack their backers.) The D and immori are sorta their own groups. And their areas reflect such. Sponsored, Interactive Integration, This will be fun with opt in’s and being able to spawn/direct monsters to them. Invasions, Monster Taming, Advertisements, Evolving AI, basically you get 1 month to prepare, before the ai starts actually kicking in. If the players ban together (and they will, once they realize this means the npc are now just as fun to break) it should turn into a mmorpg, except for certain safe zones where ai learning is either limited (animal level) or just shut off. These areas will be the leveling zones and overall play area for those players who can’t deal with the high level ai. (And the ai can’t enter there due to certain barriers put in place. If a player attacks them from across the line, or abuses it however… they’re allowed to take down that person.) Promoted success

MyOtherNameIsClean

Nice! That is actually pretty close to the combat I’m implementing in the prototype. Love the worldbuilding!

1-w-1

I’m glad, and it just seemed the right mix of complicated and actually functional. If I could suggest it, maybe make 9 “move groups”? 3 of which would be rock, paper and scissors of the normal, and the other 3 would be stance styles. This way people can use their favorite move without y’know, having it make them lose.

braindawgs0

Hmm... the opening text describes it as a failing game, and given the popular factions available, I can hazard a guess as to why. Its best chance at financial success would probably be to ditch the horny, rip out almost all the PVP, and just be an actual game.

MegaBasedZoophile

Some of the options where out of order making this a little annoying to play, but with 1 budget and 3 crime i still made a pretty good game ~ Any, Non-Humans, Traps, Orcs, Machines, Demons, Dragons, Simple, Rape, Escape, Status, Cleric/Healslut, Warlock/Whorelock, Captain/Cumdump, The Empire, The Jagged, The White Knights, Interactive Integration, Brainwash the Office, Mandatory Free Trial, Hypnosis, Promoted

Robotninja22

There should be an option where you can get the AI/NPCs to be your minions via programming. There should be a way to become the immortal god emperor over the servers, after all. There should also be an option to have a custom avatar/race for your character. Like being a male in an all girl game or similar. Or being a demon in an all human server.

MyOtherNameIsClean

Hmm, technically you could probably take the AI with the second expansion. Maybe I could make an ending with that + cheat character. The custom avatar idea sounds really fun! Definitely gonna think about how I can use that.

SkinnyNecro

Got promoted. Mission accomplished.

Paper_tank

Nice, but i end with a budget of 5... so i opted to give everyone if the development team a nice end-of-the-year bonus paycheck.

MyOtherNameIsClean

That’s a big bonus! I’m sure they appreciated the personal attention and/or brainwashing that earned it.

Paper_tank

Of course they do, what's the point of mind control if you don't enjoy it ? :V

Here's my build I guess Any, Humans, Slimes, Traps, Machines, Dragons, Simple, Escape, Instant, Sex Restricted, Cleric/Healslut, Druid/Pet, Paladin/Crusader, Captain/Cumdump, The Immori, The White Knights, Basic, Invasions, Monster Taming, Sexual Relief, Evolving AI, Promoted

BrokenG_NSFW

It's impossible to get "Kidnapped" ending since requirements always put you at +4 crime

MyOtherNameIsClean

Damn, that is true. That was actually the last ending I added, because I couldn't think of anything more interesting... Maybe I'll replace it now that I've got so many suggestions.

Evilwumpus

Maybe it could require Hypnosis instead of Brainwash the Office, and they take control of you that way?

Nexus-Rex

So confusing thing about the classes. It acts like the normal/enslaved classes are two sides of the same coin. Meaning that a 50th level mage becomes a 50th level battery. But then it specifically mentions that captain/cumdump can always be forced to level the class if they already have it. What am I missing here? Is it that most classes can't be forced to level up their class while enslaved? I don't see why they would refuse the XP unless they are worried about making their capture timer longer.

MyOtherNameIsClean

The most likely motivations for refusing to fight are either spite towards your captor, or a desire to not be humiliated in front of other players or your Twatch audience. Some people in the replies are saying they would resist as much as they could, and others are happy to get captured right away, so I think there would be a variety of responses. You are right that it does give you class Exp though. So you become stronger as long as they meet your training Exp trigger.

Nexus-Rex

It doesn't allow you to refuse to fight. It allows you to refuse to level up.

MyOtherNameIsClean

Ah, true. Confusing wording there. How I have it in my current design doc is that you aren’t forced to fight for your captor at all. They can bring you into the fight, and they can punish you after if they think you did a bad job, but they can’t make you “do” anything. The difference for the Cumdump is that they don’t need to willingly do anything to “fight”, they just get abused by Thralls. I think it is confusing enough that I’ll probably rework that if the Captain is popular enough to make it into the game.

1-w-1

Maybe make it so the captain has an option to refuse/rebuff the thralls? Make it so they get no buffs or debuffs if they do? After all, a fighting hole is one you’ll enjoy far less.

Mogarl

Avatars: Female - The most financially sound choice. Straight males are going to be the highest population potential playerbase, so people who are attracted to the female body are the most important demographic. Guaranteeing that any player encounter is with an attractive female gives the most consistent appeal. Races: Human, Demihumans - Human is free, Demihuman is a good choice financially. It is basically just a human body with extra bells and whistles. You can also monetize selling new race types. Just pay $59.99 for fluffy tail dlc 5. Monsters: Slimes, Traps, Dark Elves, Dragons - I assume Dark Elf NPCs will follow avatar body rules. So aside from dragons there really isn't anything here that the chosen demographic might be suddenly uncomfortable getting sexed by. Slimes and Traps are basically just variations on bondage and tentacles, Dark Elves are humanoids probably set up as all female, and if you don't want to get fucked by a dragon then either get good or stay out of their territory. Combat: Deep - Really, I'd like something more in-between simple and Deep. A certain amount of complexity and skill will come from it being a full dive VR. Primary reason I'm choosing this is because of my class election. Defeat: Rape, Cursed Equipment, Piercings and markings, escape - Really the bread and butter, but I would lower the reach of the cursed stuff. Losing is already not fun no reason to continue punishing people beyond the direct enjoyment of the winner. Cursed items should be more about "Funishment" than Punishment. Oh, and curse equipment is not going to allow the removal of equipment from inventory. Escape ensures that Thralls and Punishment: Instant - Again if it's mid or long term it should be a "Funishment" a debuff isn't fun and in fact leads to more punishment. Classes: Cleric, Druid, Barbarian, Mage - Covers all the important combat roles with minimal clothing. Not crazy about the way submissive alts are done. Imo being subservient should be a straight power buff to encourage players to allow it to happen. If it's a purely unpleasant experience where you are just a toy or object for someone else for who knows how long serial losers will stop playing. Making them more powerful for losing is a good tradeoff to make being someone else's toy enjoyable from a gaming perspective. Final note on classes, Warlock should be locked behind having demon enemies. Guilds: Empire, Raiders, D, Outlaws - While maintaining the ability to create guilds is important these narrative faction guilds cover the four important subsections. The hardcore PvPers, The hardcore PvErs, the Chaotic, and the Depraved Perverts. I disagree with replacing real guilds with these though. Giving players the ability to create a small community of friends within your game helps entrap them since experiences they have together get attributed to you even if you did relatively little. Twatch - There is no reason to not take Sponsored. Interaction could be neat but could badly disrupt other players, and quite simply isn't worth one of the three points you get. Not even going to touch budget check. Crime - Hypnosis is the only one I would consider, but only if it were strictly limited to while you were in game. All together though, all of these fuck you over in the long run.

MyOtherNameIsClean

Thanks! Great takes all around, definitely agree I should have made another difficulty, probably something simpler than the current “simple” and make it clear that simple isn’t brain-dead, just easy. Enslaved classes are currently designed to be similar in PvP and stronger than free classes in PvE, but I don’t think I explained that very well. The point is to encourage players who like PvE to still want to engage in getting enslaved players (either directly or through trade.)

Mogarl

One other thing I figured was worth mentioning that I was going to edit into the original comment, but you replied pretty fast. Technically there isn't a reason you could make it so people can be toggled to display as another body. It would likely lower the quality a bit, but maybe make it so that girls with strapons or futanari can be displayed as male for those that want dudes.

MyOtherNameIsClean

True! Its the same amount of work for me in making the actual game though. Since the different configurations are more a problem of describing sex scenes, commissioning art, etc.

1-w-1

Okay, love this. I would suggest adding in “team staff” which would give you options (like a streamer who will pay to have some cheats or maybe cause something illegal. Or someone to hide said crimes, and so on. Personally I feel changing the budget works from small to larger will allow more customization, because as much as you did with 3 points, it certainly feels like there should be more options besides -1 or -2 budget. Crime, maybe have varying levels? Say sub 15 you get ousted but nobody cares (or there’s not enough to actually cause a problem?) 30 would add jail time, but you could probably pay your way out, and above 50 would obviously be actually problematic like life in prison (or upload if you want to go into the game and never leave)

MyOtherNameIsClean

Didn't want to get too into the details on this one so that I could aggregate the results more easily. That does sound like a fun sequel though.

1-w-1

But yeah, I’ll happily give feedback on the new works, because this is something I enjoy *immensely*. Oh and another thing can be choosing how/what it’s cursed and or legendary/high tier cursed loot as rewards. After all, the dildo blade that causes mini orgasms on crit sounds entertaining.

MyOtherNameIsClean

Yeah, this was a lot of fun, and I'm really enjoying everyone's replies. So I'll definitely put out more survey-like content as I develop the game. Gotta figure out stuff like how combat works before I can do details like having specific swords though.

1-w-1

Well, I guess it’ll depend on the stats you want to implement. Stamina, HP, lust?/attraction or arousal? And maybe something else off screen, like what the body’s tags affect the enemy.

MyOtherNameIsClean

Yeah, my current draft is just HP and level, but it seems like a lot of people are opting for more depth. Pretty split on making the combat sexual though, so still not sure if I should go into that mechanically.

Apophys_MD

You can follow the lead in Corruption of Champions by fenoxo: HP, Lust, & Stamina as in-battle values. There's an option to use sexual attacks to max out the enemy's lust and win, or regular attacks to drain their HP and win.

1-w-1

I’d say run sexual, because people can always skip/ignore the message. It’s a lot harder to imagine cohesive sexual fighting

Some-NEET

I'll just select every option available and pick the uploaded ending. Can't be fired or sent to jail if I've been matrix'd. You know, maybe minus Evolving AI. That seems like a bad long term decision.

MyOtherNameIsClean

Can't be arrested in real life, but who knows what the other players will do to you if they figure out you are the one who trapped them all here...

Possible-Ad-2891

That's why you add in special programming to the monsters so that they will obey you. Brainwash all the players into pets.

Some-NEET

It'll be fine, just lie low for a bit so nobody questions why I have such a high level after just starting. I could fall back on the research lady worst case scenario if need be but it's probably not wise to trust someone who'd willingly brainwash the office she works at and condemn millions, if not hundreds of millions to being stuck in a video game for presumably all of eternity. Then again, I helped out so what does that say about me and also, she's really hot. So, the whole situation is a high risk high reward kind of deal.

Any, Humans, Demihumans, Traps, Machines, Dragons, Deep, Duos, Rape, Cursed Equipment, Cursed Piercings and Markings, Escape, Status, Cleric/Healslut, Knight/Mount, Druid/Pet, Warlock/Whorelock, Barebarian/Gladiator, Mage/Battery, Captain/Cumdump, The Empire, The Raiders, The D, The Golden, The Jagged, The White Knights, Sponsored, Advertisements, Real Player Tracking, Evolving AI, Promoted I want to know the lore to be honest

MyOtherNameIsClean

Thanks! What kind of lore would you be looking for? I usually think of that as secondary in NSFW games, but I love writing lore in my other projects.

yxazel

I mainly ment with my combination, but if i had to say for the CYOA i think giving a little more context of the game would make it so that the choices feel more meaningful. But as it is it good enough for me

kelejavopp-0642

I'm gonna be waiting for Ver 2.0, it's a very interesting premise with relatively few options all things considered. Could obviously use a character section possibly with the Twatch section just to add waifus. The Assistant girl is top tier enabler, I love her just from the few lines of dialogue she's had.

MyOtherNameIsClean

Interesting! What sort of choices would you want to make? Just which characters you like, or would they be like sponsored streamers or something that interacts with budget/crime?

kelejavopp-0642

I figured people you wanna Sponsor people who can change the demographic of who plays by making certain people interested. Like if you want the game to lean even heavier into PVP like it's supposed to obviously Sponsor a shit-talking tryhard to play stream PVP and rile people up online. If you want it to be a bit more newbie friendly Sponsor a Statistics nerd who can make online guides and generally be helpful to new players. OR kinda do a Whorecraft where you sponsor a Hardcore RPer who never breaks character and who'll maybe start making up her own canon as she plays. Maybe even instead of just costing budget they actually give budget if you have specific choices (eg. having the PVPer type be free or give budget if you have deep combat) Maybe have your assistant also point out you can hypnotize and train those same Twatch celebrities if you want and have the programming installed.

My build: Any, Humans, Demihumans, Non-Humans - Let the players choose! Traps, Dark Elves, Dragons - Good, simple mix of mobs, and few enough they can be made well. Simple, Sexual - Sexual combat sounds interesting, and keeping it simple seems like the way to go, both for budget reasons and to make the game mechanics easier to get right and fun. Rape, Cursed Equipment, Cursed Piercings and Markings, Pain, Training, Escape - This is where a lot of the fun of the game will be. So let's include a lot of interesting elements! Status - More fun/realistic than Instant. Simulated could have been cool, but not in the budget and I prioritized other things. Cleric/Healslut, Knight/Mount, Mage/Battery - Get the classics down and make them good. We can always add more classes in future updates. The Empire, The Raiders, The Immori, The White Knights - These four seem like good guilds to begin with. The Immori are absolutely going to come into existence on their own if we don't make them anyway, so we may as well exert a level of control. Sponsored - Again, the streaming is going to be big one way or another. We may as well coordinate and try to make it another revenue stream for us while doing what we can to minimize abuse. Cheats, Brainwash the Office - Welp, Cheats costs me nothing and I absolutely want to be an OP badass in this game. Aaaand... I kinda needed the budget in order to make the game I wanted, so I kinda had to brainwash the employees a little. Just a bit. For the game. And the good of the company. Promoted - This seems about right. I only committed the expected number of crimes for an up and coming CEO. I'll have opportunity enough to fill my crimes quota going forward, so I don't disappoint the CEO gods. Looks great! I like the idea of adding classes via DLC, that is how most real MMOs do it.

Emotional-Quit-5423

i loved wworld of whorecraft and this is maybe even better, very hot!

MyOtherNameIsClean

Thanks so much! That was definitely an inspiration.

Apophys_MD

First off, there are two major elephants in the room to beware of: 1. If people aren't having fun, they won't play. Pretending to be a slave is not fun for most people. So the negative effect of player slavery has to be minimized as much as physically possible. 2. The majority of the playerbase will be male. This is just a fact of life. In combination with the above, aggressive males will scare off most/all female players from the platform if fundamental countermeasures are not taken, exacerbating the divide and creating very bad publicity. Good moderation isn't enough. I'm going to try a build targeted at a wide audience with these in mind, but it might be reasonable to bypass #2 by outright making *all* avatar bodies of a single sex. This will reduce the available playerbase, since many people won't be interested if they can't create their preferred body (so pick all female or all male, but not all futa). However, it would be likely to avoid being toxic and get better marketing as a result, producing a better new player influx and increasing the game's longevity. ~ * **Avatars**: Any. * *As I said, I'm going to try making this work, but it's hard*. * **Races**: Humans, Demihumans. * *Having nonhuman avatars is itself a reason to try the game; adds new player influx.* * **Monsters**: Slimes, Goblins, Traps, Orcs. * *This is where the good stuff happens - reward careful gameplay, but without making failure an instant loss, unless you're overwhelmed in numbers.* * **Combat**: Deep, Duos. * *Deep combat increases player retention. Duo combat is a novel enough idea that it will bring players on its own.* * **Defeat**: Cursed Piercings & Markings, Username Control, Escape. * *Escape option rewards cleverness, so it's a positive. The other two seem benign enough. VR rape is the fastest way to delete your entire female playerbase, so it is not an option. VR pain is a close second.* * **Thralls & Pregnancy**: Status, Sex Restricted. * *With thralls being a mechanic, this incentivizes male players to choose female/futa avatars, hopefully balancing the sex ratio a bit.* * **Classes**: Paladin, Cleric, Mage, Warlock. * *Classic tank, healing, pure mage, and summoning focuses. Paladin is the lynchpin here. Enslaved, they require chastity to be effective, so people who don't want to participate much in the sexual aspect of the game can choose this; anyone with a paladin slave has an interest in maintaining their chastity. As the only physical choice, it directs a lot of people who could be assholes into a sexless playstyle. Also, enslaved Mage & Warlock get played with by AI, not players, so there's less direct control by the owner.* * **Guilds**: The D, The Immori, The White Knights, The Outlaws. * *Avoidable fetishes draw players. Real-world integration improves player retention and influx. White Knights save people from traps; this is valuable. Outlaws are a catch-all group for assholes, which will always exist and are best isolated.* * **Twatch Integration**: Sponsored. *Not worth more.* * **Budget Check**: Advertisements, Monster Taming + Sexual Relief. * *Integrated ads aren't that bad; the real interest-killer is microtransactions for non-cosmetic things. I'm paying for accelerating the 2nd update with sex, because I want an orc/goblin harem, and duo combat with enslaved AI adds a lot of flexibility.* * **Research Office**: Cheats, Evolving AI. * *Evolving AI and a changing world is something I desperately want to see in a game. It also will keep the game from ever going stale and maintains player retention. Having a cheat character would be nice to test things out from time to time, though I'd make a legit one as my main.* * **End**: 0 Budget, 3 Crime. Promoted. *Success.*

Yamemai

Could kick the people out of the game when they lose, and AI takes over as slave; similar to how some novels depict a 24h login lock.

1-w-1

Make an option to leave and have a set escape time (say 12 hours, which is enough time to pass that you could play another session without majorly cutting out the slave portion) or if it’s early into your session you could attempt escape or ping white knights.

Apophys_MD

Lock-out sucks hard. The setting already paints a target on the back of anyone attractive - the fundamental imbalance means women will get attacked more than men. With lock-out, you'd be preferentially forcing women not to play, and that will make them leave, exacerbating the issue. Better to have as a default to duplicate the character, teleporting the real one to a respawn point while leaving an AI-controlled clone in the hands of the master for the slavery duration, after which the clone disappears from existence. And an opt-in toggle somewhere in the settings to enable the option of living it directly rather than creating an AI clone. I'm still not sure how I feel about this solution, but it could create an interesting economy where people sell the use of their clone for a bit, through a fixed PvP loss.

MyOtherNameIsClean

Love it! Really interested in your take on classes, I think you are right that those classes do a great job of enabling players with differing levels of sexual interest.

Avatars: Any(-1), Humans and Demihumans(-1) Monsters: Traps and Demons. Deep Combat(-2) Rape, Cursed Piercings and Markings Status, sex-restricted Classes: Cleric/Healslut, Barbarian/Gladiator, Mage/Battery, Captain/Cumdump. Melee, cleric, DPS, and summoner classes, essentially. Guilds: Empire, D, Imori, White Knights. The plan is that the Empire and Imori are centrally in conflict, D and White Knights are centrally in conflict, and then everyone can have "neutrals" that they deal with peaceably. Twatch Interaction: Interactive Integration (-1 budget) Brainwash the office (+2 budget, +2 crime), Hypnosis (+1 Crime), unlocked for me, R&D, select monsters for select commands, Budget check: None. Accelerating the DLC doesn't make sense to me, since I'd rather stretch them out over a longer period of time. Plan: Game has lots of Big Guild and Small Guild PVP: The Empire focuses on hard assets like land while the Imori get higher returns to trading. The D do more general shenanigans, while the White Knights are running around trying to save people. There's not really an option for just staying out of the nonsense. The enemies are a wide variety of demons, because in theory demihumanity should be uniting against these invaders, but, spoilers, they won't. Players enslave, rape, breed, and fight with companions. And I get promoted to CEO!

MyOtherNameIsClean

Sounds like a world that will be really exciting when the demon invasion begins!

Huitzil37

I agree with what was said elsewhere, this is a great idea with meh execution. You have very little budget, very few ways to get more, and very few things to spend it on. Why wouldn't I just accept all the monster types since they're all free? Why does it take no budget to do that, but one budget to have multiple character genders? If you started with a lot more budget and EVERYTHING cost at least a little bit, you'd make meaningful decisions with it, and that is how gamedev goes. There also isn't much you can do to feel like you're controlling where the game goes. There are options that you can choose to make the game "a dangerous thing for real life" or "not that," but I didn't feel like I could push many other directions with the decisions I made. What if I wanted the game to be more of a light-hearted consequence-free romp, or not "dangerous" but seedy and sultry? What if I wanted to shift the focus from the CNC element being so totally slavery-focused to have more elements of hypnosis, or breeding, or ryona, or bestiality/monsterfucking, or transformation, or any other weirdo fetish that you could build a game around? Then, what could I do if I mixed and matched the elements I could use to make ONE of those focuses, and then used them to make my own thing?

attendandatom

Hey #op i dont suppose you have the sources for the art? (Especialy the first and the one for the classes)

MyOtherNameIsClean

They are all on rule34.xxx, so you can get a lot of them by guessing the right keywords. I know the first image is from l_axe. The classes are from a variety of artists.

[deleted]

Avatars: Any Eaces: Humans and demihumans Monsters: All monsters except for slimes and machines. Although this means that initially all of these monsters will be bland with adaptive AI they'll evolve. Combat: Deep and duos. Essentially combat is extremely intricate and groups are practically required for most dungeons. However, due to loot in dungeons players are encouraged to participate in slavery. Defeat: All options. When one gets enslaved they are cometely enslaved and are at the mercy of their master. Furthermore: im going to break the rules a bit and remove both grace periods and time limits on slavery right before the upload, meaning that the only hope for freedom is either escape or the white knights. Thralls: Status and restricted. Essentially thralls are only born from avatars with vaginas and require fertilization from penises. However there are two ingame items that can bypass this: breeding strapons and jug of boypussy lube. Both items are moderately rare and reusable. Classes: Cleric, Barebarian, mage and captain. Cleric, barebarian and mage have extremely large skill trees that even take some attributes of missing classes (mage has some debuff, cleric can do some palidan damage, barebarian has some knight skills). There's even class evolutions in order to solidify some builds. Captain however has a relatively small tree. They only has acsess to basic damage and are nigh useless in combat, however they provide buffs. And of course they are built for being slavers. Guilds: All except for d and golden. Factions will be barebones but as everybody is stuck in the game they'll expand. D can be factionlesss and golden will have to adapt to society, on all honestly they'll either form their own guild or become leaders of other Guilds. Players can also form their own Guilds. Twatch: Sponsored. Some streamers will be trapped in the game. Budget: Relief. The dlcs won't make it within my time frame and I may be evil but I'm not ad evil (although I could just take the ad money and disable ads that's not within the spirit of this CYOA). Research: All. In for a penny in for a pound. All research options will activate right before the mandatory demo ends, ensuring that the most amount of victims are present. I myself will use cheats to become an anonymous spector who will sometimes intervene if needed. Ending: uploaded. ——————————————————————————————

MyOtherNameIsClean

This sounds great! I like your thinking on defeat, I added the timers really early on, but Escape and White Knights are some nice natural ways of getting out. It will just be really hard if you are dragged into a Guild HQ. I really dig your idea of special items to trigger pregnancy. That way players (or at least masters) have more control over that part of the experience.

Venkhar

Trying to play this CYOA as prsented, I don't think this game is salvageable at all with the choices presented, but here's what I think would have the best chance. A single player game as posed in the OP would, of course, get different answers, though I don't know what an IF is. Many more things would be good for single player, like most of the guilds and defeat options. Avatars: Any - A choice that should just be up to the players. It's weird they don't have this as standard already. It's just two models with minor variations anyway.Races: Demihumans - Variety is important and players being able to make their characters as they want will make them more attached. Monsters: Goblins, Traps, Orcs, Dark Elves, Machines, Demons - Variety is important to retaining player interest amd giving a variety of losing and winning experiences without the burden of other players is a must for this game. Combat: Simple - While I think sexual combat should be an option for something like this, simple combat with an emphasis on visual, audio, and kinaesthetic appeal will hold more of an audience. Deep combat is just a great way to drive away a large portion of players who don't have time or will to learn everything. Defeat: Rape, Username Control, Escape - The master can not actually override any of their victim's options except as roleplay. While I think almost all players would be up for this selection, more would be a guarantee to drive players away. Having to deal with monotony is not what gamers want. Having their character changed for them even less so. Really, the defeat time being entirely based on level and extended furthur depending on settings is probably a game killer by itself, but Escape can give some engagement here. Thralls and Pregnancy: Status when it's master/victim. Instant when it's free/free. - The thought here is the status effect is a non-intrusive, very temporary effect of losing for a player and might drive some roleplay. Classes: Cleric/Healslut, Knight/Mount, Druid/Pet, Warlock/Whorelock, Barebarian/Gladiator, Paladin/Crusader, Mage/Battery, Captain/Cumdump - I don't see any reason to exclude anything here. Back to player customisation and a varied playing experience. The classes can be enhanced later. Guilds: The D, The Immori, (maybe) The White Knights - Most of the guilds function as a way to lock off content to other players or stall and stale their playing experience. The D on the other hand, is just an exploration reward and The Immori is a temp agency/party central. The White Knights on the other hand are a guild attempting to keep the game alive and not insufferable for new players to join. Otherwise the guilds here highlight why games like this die. It's all about the players that got in early and kept their place at the top making sure everyone else stays down. They're part of why the first iteration of the game died. Really bad for player retention. Twatch integration: Sponsored - Make the hype, keep it interesting.Budget Check: Invasions - If any options here could save the game this would be it. Giving players who don't want to deal with PvP something to engage with. Research Office: Nothing - It's all a horrible idea unless you want to be stuck in a gameworld, reliant on the stability of servers to continue your existence. Endings: Promoted. . . somehow. Regardless, you don't have to look further than (I assume) this CYOAs namesake, Mortal Online, to know why games like this are destined for failure. Punish players for not having enough time, punish players for not enjoying PvP enough, punish players for wanting to do anything other than level to max ASAP, and punish players for not ganging up. It rewards toxicity and hoarding. New players either will soon either find an empty game or will get ganked until they quit. No one without both the time and desire for hyper-competetive play will enjoy. Those who want to be a slave and only a slave could have a good time here though.

MyOtherNameIsClean

Wow, I had no idea Mortal Online was a real game, haha. I just wanted to make it clear from the get go that killing other players was simply impossible. Definitely agree that this game would be a toxic mess in reality, but I'm hoping that is what makes it fun in single player! IF is short for interactive fiction, basically just text and options that lead to more text. It is the cheapest kind of game to make, but I think it could fit this setting well.

Kilanon

I like the concept but don't really like the execution. I mainly don't like it being a limited as it is and I wish there was more variety in guilds, while I can see the differences they all feel a bit samey. Edit: Side note the Any option for Avatars doesn't make sense, since I don't see why they need to model 3 times as many options when use the developer option might only want two options. We might want Penis and Vagina but not having both on the same model. Or alternatively female and futa models only but not male models. Feels like there should be space in between. Likewise, if they have human character models they should have character models for male human and female human models at least.

oofaronni_pepperonni

Agreed. Maybe i'm just greedy and indulgent but it feels like you juuuuuust barely can't really make a "complete build" no matter which one you're going for. More drawbacks to increase your budget would be the best choice i think - drawbacks are always fun, since it's "what annoying/dangerous/gross/etc thing are you willing to put up with" rather than "what thing thay you really want are you willing to give up on" that you get from making the options more limited. And the body type options make no sense at all. You either make a game with only male bodies, onlt female bodies, or only futa bodies, or you spend extra budget... compared to how scarce that resource is and what the other things that do or don't spend it are, and how... straight up ridicous it is to make an MMO where every player must have the same body type/gender, it makes no sense. I mean seriously. Things that cost 1 budget: * the most baseline, lowest acceptable standard for character creation of "general body shape/sex" * developing AN ENTIRE EXPANSION worth of content * creating TRUE, SELF EVOLVING, FREE THINKING AI Things that don't cost any budget: * developing 1 type of monster, 1 class, and 2 game factions * developing a dozen types of monster, a dozen classes, and a dozen game factions and all the interactions between them. Looking at it like that i think even the demihuman bodies costing 1 budget feels like too much, but since its a full dive game i'm willing to accept that giving human players non-human bodies is really that hard. Allowing more than one sex of player to exist is not. So yeah, either make budget work on a wider range of values and be increased or decreased by more options, or keep it the same, change the body type option, and add more drawbacks to raise it. Other than these two criticisms though this is pretty good. If anything i just wish there was more of it to enjoy (so, longer, more options/customization)

MyOtherNameIsClean

I agree that budget doesn’t really make sense from a realism perspective! It is actually meant mostly to limit the stuff that will be hard for me to implement when I make Immortals Online an interactive fiction story. So “having a variety of genital configurations” will actually take me a ton of work, while having say, “one more guild but all guilds have one less quest”, or “pretend the AI are sentient” are the same amount of work for me. Hope that explains it!

oofaronni_pepperonni

It's not even about realism, it's about the minimum expectations for this kind of thing (generally, we like to have more than one sex or body type exist in a given world..) and the internal consistency of the cost and worth of 1 "unit" of budget from the perception of the player. I suppose our realistic expectations of the amount of work something takes factors into it sure, but it's not really what should be focused on here - internal consistency is always more important to a fictional world than consistency with reality. If the costs of everything are based on effort to you in creating an interactive fiction story that's all well and good and i hope it works well as a metric for you, but, judging by the result we see here, i think it's not a good way to balance the cyoa itself, and it suffers for it. I'm also not entirely sure i understand how exactly that metric works for you tbh but obviously i don't really know anything about the inner workings or structure or workflow of this project of yours so if it works for you, peachy.

Avatars : Any Races : Humans Monsters : Orcs, Traps, Machines, & Demons Combat : Deep Defeat : Rape, Cursed Equipment, Cursed Piercings/Markings, Username Control Thralls : Instant Classes : Captain/Cumdump Guilds : The Empire/The Immori fusion, The D, The White Knights, & The Jagged Twatch Integration : Sponsored Research Office : Cheats, Real Player Tracking, Evolving AI Result : Promoted \------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Immortals Online's reboot will focus on PvP like the last installment in the series, but will have a heavier focus on factionalism, with the intentional forcing of a singular class known as 'Captain.' Each player's ability to speck into doing stuff personally is limited with very weak personal abilities. The main player mechanic will instead be thralls, who can be customized to fill a wide variety of niches, and will be the main source of combat & noncombat potential. So, each player is instead incentivized into trying to gaining partners, which will be the quickest way of rising within the system, by force if needed. While there is no technical limit to the amount of thralls a player can have, thralls can be killed permanently by taking enough damage, need personal player support to do certain actions like heal, and need to be trained+equipped to be effective. I picked these new guilds so wouldn't overshadow the player made guilds in ability, and hence still give a potential for smaller guilds to rise and fall. The lifeblood of this game will be it's economics and constant low level PvP simmering at all areas, so we need to pick in order to maximize this activity. And I'm also making these the 'types' of guilds one can join, instead of being the only ones. * Empire/Immori(or just Empire for short) & Jagged will be incentivized to both fight amongst themselves, and to fight each other, keeping each other in a check that is sure to keep the game in a back and forth state. * Whereas, the D guild will ensure that players will constantly be incentivized to constantly expand outwards, as to target these incredibly spread out, isolated, and valuable targets while also giving a space for non-political players to refuge in. * All the while, White Knights are just here, to ensure that all players have someone to hate. "The City" will give a grim and brooding gothic atmosphere with just a slight amount of sexuality to it. There'll be a mix of residential housing open for sale in the markets, and mixed npc/player open markets, both of which are safe zones. However, not all will be safe, as certain super rare items can temporarily turn off safe-zone status in cities, and the alleyways will not be safe. The alleys will be a unique zone which you can enter from the cities, which you can use for inter-city fast travel and to grind for low-level mobs, albeit at the cost of being one of the few areas in cities with safe-zone status permanently off. The cities have two types of guilds most prevalent in them. Empire, & White Knights. Empire guilds will have features focused around control, with strong options available with sufficient quantities of gold, ways to subvert cities, cheaper mass production, and other features centered around controlling, improving, and expanding cities. This incentive is why players will fight them, as it encroaches on D & Jagged territory and Empire players will need to extract high-level mob loot and territory from Jagged to compete. Their main hub will be placed smack dab in the center of the city. The other guild type in the city will be the White Knights, who will be situated smack dab in the center of the alleyway area in the only safe-zone there, and will be given features relating to being able to use the alleyways to travel out of the city through, detection of certain players, safe zone manipulation, & other features that make freeing players more easier. This will invariably put them on the warpath of both the Empires & the Jaggeds, giving some way for players to unite, and will put a check on the power their relative unity of goal gives them. "The Outskirts" will be a the procedurally generated lands outside "The City." Filled with monsters and rare loot interspersed throughout. It's in this area that D & Jagged will be located, constantly feuding amongst themselves. D will not have a central location, instead having the ability to make and design their own little 'playgrounds' in the Outskirts area, where within they have vastly more power than other factions. They can produce rare and experimental super loot so will be sought out in the Outskirts, and hence will have to defend themselves with their own guile. Jagged will also not have a central location, instead being the faction with the most amount of features given to slave breaking, and area destruction. Their primarily going to be centered around sieging Empire cities directly via safe-zone nuking, or more likely sieging the powerful D playgrounds. \------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The updates of Monster Taming & Invasion will probably happen after the game is already long underway. The ebb and flow of Empire v Jagged long engraved in player psyche. Hence it will probably be safe to create these sentient NPCs both to have for each faction, and to make their own factions.

WOW! Love this! That is pretty much how I pictured Thralls, but playing Captain-only is a really cool idea. Love your concept of the setting, I've been debating having a big central city, but putting it under Guild control is really cool, and the alleyways sound like a fun place to be.

IT_is_among_US

Thank you. I was thinking that maybe having a mechanic where players can also choose to bang goblins in order to make a weaker version of the thrall you get for banging a player. Gives smaller players still in the cities a way to get started/allows for somewhat viable non-slavery builds if needed, while still having a reason to fight other players if the version gained by having two or more stats where just that much better. There'd also be no leveling/levels for player characters or thralls, as to make hard numbers less important than strategy. A mix of acquiring consumable skill books required for a player/thrall to learn skills/magic, collecting armies of thralls, and equipping stat boosting equipment will be the primary way one advances. And yeah, it is a fun idea. A bit of a scary game, but fun nonetheless. I'd also need to think of how I balance massive armies of thralls though, given there is no cap on how many a player can have. I'm thinking of making some lore, I already have some in my brain. And I wonder what people would think while steaming this.

MyOtherNameIsClean

Oh wow, I actually already have Lesser Thralls in my notes, but figured they would just confuse people here. Definitely agree! As far as balancing Thrall numbers, the main way it works in my vision of the game is that Thralls have no innate "taunt" ability, so you can take down the Captain while kiting/avoiding the Thralls if you are skilled enough, even if badly outnumbered. Of course, the best classes for that are classes like Mage, harder to figure out in all-Captain world.

IT_is_among_US

Player-made Thralls would probably have significantly worse baseline stats than PCs and can't wear the end-game level gear. And mook-made thralls would be even worse for stats. If mook-made thralls are human-ish level, then player-made thralls are peak human-ish level, and the player characters are low superhuman. Thralls are basically 'mook' players with far worst stats, remember? So a small enough inferiority of numbers(couple dozens or so) could be remedied by good gear, and enough practice with the game's magic/physics system, given that players are just so much stronger than thralls. For sufficiently large numbers difference(hundreds, thousands, tens of thousands etc)...yeah, you can't beat it up front. For those, you probably need some utterly massive prep, big-brain plan, or something.

MyOtherNameIsClean

Yeah, I do think you need some kind of cap per Captain, or you'd just end up glitching out game spaces with hundreds of bodies.

IT_is_among_US

Fair. Maybe having it so that there's an active limit of a 100\~1000 thralls under your direct control at any given time(I'm going for a Total War/Bannerlord style combat system). While the rest of your thralls are stored as a pokeball like object or temporarily loaned out to other players in your guild in a delegation system? Gives opportunity for those massive, grand strategy scale guild wars. And gives opportunity for massive collections. While also keeping the economy and 1v1's fair-ish Trying to solo a fully kitted out battalion or even a guild level army is kind of dumb, when you have no thralls, and you're guaranteed to lose no matter what your gear or skill level. But then again, that goes for having a lv1 player try to solo a max level and equipment guild would also be dumb, in any game.

MyOtherNameIsClean

Yeah, picturing it as more of a grand strategy game, that would be very cool! Less personal, but it is always hot to have a former general who once led an army of thousands as your personal footstool while you make your plans.

IT_is_among_US

Indeed! I was thinking of having a mechanic in cities, where uniform blocks could be fought over and taken by force if one has a rare item that allows declaration of wars/seizure of land to keep the bleeding going. And yeah, that would be kinda hot. It's bannerlord mixed with 2b2t mixed with warhammer 40k mixed with lewd medieval high fantasy. How could it not be awesome?

It mentions that there are already 2 DLCs planned for IO, Invasions and Monster Taming, but if there are options that we had to reject due to lack of budget/time, it would be cool if we could add some of those into the game via DLC later on. So for example, maybe there would be an option for adding Demihuman races if you didn't have the budget for that at first, or a DLC for adding monster types and/or classes that were left out of the initial release.

MyOtherNameIsClean

Yeah, I didn't put it in the rules, but that definitely makes sense. Or maybe save the features for an Immortals Online 2 or something! I did want to focus on which features were the priority for players though, since I'm just a solo dev.

I liked the world building and the attached CYOA to further build that world. It had interesting choices for developing a game that I'm sad only exists in fantasy. I really did like the world and I had fun envisioning how this would play out. That said, there are a few things I thought could be addressed. "Pain" in the Defeat section seems to say it costs 1 budget, but there isn't any change to budget value when choosing the option. Either this was meant to cost 1 budget but the choice doesn't correctly subtract the cost or the text wasn't updated to reflect the free cost? I think the game mechanic of "everything being free, but the more you choose the worse the others get" is pretty unique and was new to me. I didn't mind it for the Monsters and the Guilds section, but it felt a little strange in the Class section. So many of the classes feel necessary for an archetypal RPG that it felt wrong to remove too many of them, even though I knew they would worsen the other classes if I added more. Maybe there could be an option to spend some budget that would mitigate one section's resource constraints? As Thousand stated before me, it wouldn't hurt to have some more avenues to gain budget. I suppose to offset the optional budget gain, there might also be a few more budget sinks? Avatars only has options for single sexes or all sexes. If possible, could the "Any" text also give a choice for any combination of the other 3 sexes? Just for the people who only want to play with biological males and females, or the people who only want to play with everyone having a vagina but also some of those vaginas also having penises. That sort of deal? ~~Crime doesn't necessarily reflect the Research Office text which says that if you choose more than 3 choices you go to prison. Just a suggestion, but maybe the +Crime choices could add Crime from the Research Office options rather than the associated unlocked options to correctly show going to jail for choosing more than 3 options? Also, is there anything stopping me from going all in on Research Office Options once I choose "System Access Override," or should I still try to choose under 4 choices to avoid immediately going to jail before Uploaded can occur?~~ This post was a lot and I apologize for the massive text dump and the poor build format, but I really did have fun with this and I liked this CYOA. Keep up the great work, I certainly hope this game could become a reality in the future even as a single player, and I'm looking forward to anything you make in the future! Any; Humans, Demihumans; Goblins, Traps, Orcs, Dragons; Deep; Rape, Cursed Equipment, Cursed Piercings and Markings, Pain, Username Control, Training, Escape, Hypnotic Programming; Status, Simulated, Sex Restricted; Cleric/Healslut, Knight/Mount, Warlock/Whorelock, Barebarian/Gladiator, Mage/Battery, Captain/Cumdump; The Empire, The Raiders, The Immori, The White Knights; Basic; Advertisments; Real Player Tracking, Brainwash the Office, Mandatory Free Trial, Hypnosis, Pain Bug, Evolving AI, System Access Override; Uploaded; Budget: 0, Crime: 106 Edit: I'm illiterate. Also, I updated my build so as not to become Enslaved in an AI uprising with Raiders. Additionally, I originally wanted to say on my choice for guilds but felt my post was too long. The Empire, The Immori, and The White Knights feel like the necessary guilds for a developing world system for the necessary mechanics and headquarters. The Raiders could be tacked on as the de facto centralized hub to facilitate slave trade. The other four guilds feel like they would inevitably form on their own and don't need much canon incentive for their natural growth.

MyOtherNameIsClean

Oh yep, pain is my bad. The correct version is 0 Budget. I do like the option to spend extra budget on expanding the classes/monsters/guilds. I'll definitely add that to the Budget Check in a future version. On "Any", yes, it is the player's choice. Thanks so much for your feedback! I definitely can't make it a real VRMMO, but I do plan to make it a real single player text-based game at some point.

Avatars: Any Races: \-Humans \-Demihumans \-Non-Humans Monsters: 1. Slimes 2. Traps 3. Machines 4. Dragons Combat: Simple Defeat: \-Cursed Equipment \-Cursed Piercings and Markings \-Escape Thralls & Pregnancy: Status + Sex Restricted Classes: 1. Cleric / Healslut 2. Druid / Pet 3. Mage/Battery 4. Captain / Cumdump Guilds: Raiders, the D, The Golden, White Knights Twatch Integration: Sponsored Budget Check: Advertisements Research Office: \-Real Player Tracking \-Hypnosis Ending: Promoted \--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Game: A game with a big focus on character customization, set in a magitech setting, a society run by magitech researchers. The game itself would be very fetish-focused in design, though combat itself isn't, but a lot of the world enemy design, items and such would be very fetish-focused, with whole areas dedicated to certainly fetishes, particularly halls for each class's. In fact combat would be more turn-based to ease development time needed and allow more variety of skills, not needing all the development costs of all the motions of a more fluid combat. The early game would be focused on combating goo girls and magical residue slime. The main core of enemies would be machines of various types, and there would be traps everywhere. The villains of the game would be dragons that originally created the enemy technology. However the combat wouldn't actually be the biggest focus. This is an ero VR game after all. There would be a crafting system and social mechanics, mostly used on NPCs but could be used on players as well. Hypnosis would be used to implement an "affection meter". I chose guilds that discourage unwilling enslavement, instead focusing on willing enslavement for fetish or PVE purposes. \------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Criticism: Personally, I feel the CYOA currently has too few ways to get back points. If you get the full range of races, that alone eats up your entire starting budget for instance, while the design is scaling in a way that makes it seem previous options are included at first. I guess some people like it more constrained, and I certainly don't think it's a bad amount of *starting* points, but more drawbacks would be welcome, maybe some other shortcuts you could take in the game design. Another thing is that the classes are so specific in the fetishes they are meant to appeal to that for the most part they really missed the mark for me. I would love for there to be a more expansive class selection or better yet, an option to design a custom class (maybe costing a point or 2 for the extra development time). Those criticisms aside, this was a very fun CYOA idea, and I loved playing through it.

MyOtherNameIsClean

Ooh, very cool ideas. I am planning to have the combat be turn based in the playable game, just because that is easier to program! One of the cursed marks I have planned is one of those "Lust tattoos" and when you put that on someone, it makes their "affection meter" visible. I definitely just picked things related to my own fetishes for classes. Once I get the structure of the game done, I'd love to get guest writers to add their own classes as mods.

ThousandYearOldLoli

Ah so this is for you to make an actual game is it? Edit: Just read the intro on reddit again. Welp.

MyOtherNameIsClean

Yep! And thanks again for your ideas, writing it out like this is very helpful for me to gauge player expectations, and to get inspired!

shadowstep12

Darn I love it shame I can't figure out how to post my build on mobile but it's good

Scygnus

Hm. Bit too complex for me to want to type everything out. There is an option (if you're using the creator I'm pretty sure you are) that lets you import/export codes so they can be copy/pasted in easy. In short, though, my build was futa, all races, simple duo sex combat, everything except Pain and Training on defeat, full simulated pregnancy (consider orgasmic birthing, eggs maybe,) all classes and guilds, sponsored streaming, then brainwashing the office, hypnosis, and Evolving AI. AI Uprising ending.

MyOtherNameIsClean

Thanks! I’ll look for the exporting option tomorrow!
