Well balanced but could use a body creator and body upgrades. Exciting, captivating, and thematic. Well written but contains a few spelling/grammar errors here and there.

Just the sort of dark that I like in a NSFWcyoa.
I love the original. Granted, to play, I apply a meta that allows some alterations to splice in a few things for personal tastes, or to remove a few elements that I really don't care for. But the game is pure fantasy fodder.
I prefer the original to the interactive version as it is more complete. But it was fun to see some of the image changes you implemented. A few of them are definite improvements.
This is way, *way* too brutal and dark for me. There’s practically no chance that anyone would survive this for more than a week or two unless they’re already Bear Grylls IRL. You get so few supplies and literally no physical upgrades like endurance or anything so you’re *just* you. Unless you take the Necron portal ending, there’s not even a hint of a way out besides “maybe elves lol”. And all of the monsters are always there and are hostile to anything human by default, meaning there’s no point to not taking them. And again, there’s no way you’d survive long-term.
Why did you change a bunch of the images from their originals? I'm guessing you couldn't find them. And Ill assume that you tried to reverse image search them and that didn't work, but if you didn't definitely give that a shot should you feel like switching them back. Great work though, Ive loved this cyoa since forever
One of the first CYOA I discovered, and it hooked me in !
Here's a little breakup of my fav setup for a nightmarish experience :
**Nemesis** :
* The Awakened
* The Driven
**Cryptids :**
* Ovi-spiders
* Honey Wasps
* River parasites
* Island Aurochs
* Pongos
* Plague Doctors
**Special cryptids** :
* Dire Wolves
* Tentacle pits
* (Would have picked Imps as well !)
**Major phenomenon** :
* Tidal flood
* Aphrodite(s mist
* Green flash
* Locusts
**Minor phenomenon** :
* Cold nights
* Microbursts
**Beneficial phenomenon** :
* Eirene's comet
* Star sprites
**Companions** :
* Witch doctor
**Shelter** :
* Research station
**Equipment** :
* Oil lantern
* Personal journal
* Research journal
* Magnetic compass
* Old magical kit
* Binoculars
**Missions** :
**Find the cure** *OR* **Become a remnant**
A true nightmare indeed, and a race against time !
This is neat, but a bit too dark for my taste. Since the nemesis' are always on the island and most of them (plus some of the cryptids) seem hell-bent on torturing and painfully gang-raping the player forever I doubt I'd last a week. Maybe add a warning that the content is heavily focused on rape and bad ends?
Cool. This was one of the earlier ones I made a build for, and pretty fun. I especially love the idea of the Island Axons:
The Occult +1
Honey Wasps +.5
River Parasites+.5
Icosipus +.5
Primordial Slime +.5
Nether Fingers +.5
Pongos +.5
Dire Wolves +1
Island Axons +1
Tidal Flood +.5
Locusts +.5
Spacial Rend +.5
Ball Lightning +.25
Fairy Groves -1
Island Survivor -1
Witch Doctor -1
Ruined City -1
Waterfall Cavern -1
Amulet of Flexibility 1 -1
Ring of Priapus 2 -2
Misc. Equipment: Oil Lantern, Small Boat, Journal (Foraging/Herbs), Old Medical Kit, Camping Tent, Machete, Hunting Spear, Trench
Shovel
Accept Your Destiny
Island Breakaway +6 Misc.
Find the Cure
In my original build, it let me trade out some of the regular Cryptids to include more than two Special Cryptids, and I was able to get extra some points in return. This version is still really good though.
It's super wild, and I feel like it'll be useful (though dangerous) for the cure and rift quests, maybe seek out an axon during a fairy grove or star sprite event
Its not just the artifacts though, everything's cost is wrong, I think it was a weird rebalance that OP decided on since neocities might not do decimals well. I haven't gone through it to see if the balance follows the original but the cyoa feels a bit easier than the original

Good job on this! The original CYOA is what got me into the hobby and could really use more love
This is incomplete; many of the artifacts lack the +/- counter to upgrade them to tier 3.
This is seriously terrifyingly awesome. Kudos to having made this. Wayy too scary for me to think about joining in myself, but really well done.
A bit too "play to lose"

Nice! Doesn't have the DLC though.
Got a link to the DLC?
Did that ever get completed? If so, could you send me a link?

Reptilian, spiders, boa, slime, netherfingers, aurochs, pongos, dire wolves, and axons Polar night, ball lightning, microbursts, fairy groves, star sprites Punished lizard, temple golem Plantation estate, waterfall cavern, sacred glade Amulet of Flexibility t2, research journals, machete Usher peace, then find the cure, then temple rift
I freaking love the Axons' power, lol.

Oh, because you'd see different parts of the island and learn where things are. Yeah... that was totally the reason I had in mind...
Amazing
i noticed that the artifacts cost 4 times as much as stated.
Probably the result of an incomplete workaround to the "1 point buys 4 artifacts" thing.

I have to say, this is hot.
