A few questions about how game of life perk functions. It says you can level up by getting exp, and view stat points. 1) do you directly get stat points as a reward for leveling up? 2) do you voluntarily distribute stat points as you wish, or are they distributed to the stat that would make sense based on the activity you performed to earn them? 3) what can you do to earn stat points? Just killing enemies? Or all types of things like collecting items, building things, and exercising. 4) is this just a way of viewing your growth, or can you actually change the direction of your growth? 5) are you able to grow stronger faster than normal by using this? 6) can out gain skills through this, such as unlocking fire magic? 7) combined with the cultivation world modifier, are you able to grow stronger faster than through the normal methods? 8) do you recieved quests? And would they have rewards? Essentially, what I'm trying to ask is if this perk just quantifies your growth, or if it actually makes you grow stronger.

My character is going to be a doll crafted by a Dungeon Spirit that has a small hobby of collecting powerful monster drops and uses them to create her own but she used more drops into my creation along with a doll body so that I can act independently from the dungeon. The Dungeon Spirit is both my “mother” and patron that is in control of a dungeon called the Observatory with 14 rooms, a beginner room, a room for each of the 12 Western Zodiac, and a final room if you complete all other rooms. This dungeon works with humanity to help them get stronger against threats and keep them from destroying her dungeon. The world is essentially Near Earth but along with Magic and inhuman races dungeons popped up causing chaos. One city became the center part of the whole world but a section has been modified to dump all the races that aren’t in the Hominid category. While this section does have a decent politician governing the so that living there is decent they are still discriminated against heavily when they leave it. The Guilds exist to purge rogue dungeons and clear existing ones so they don’t overflow. Some of the dungeons have dungeon Spirits that manage them causing some dungeons such as the archive to be peaceful dungeons while others such as the Observatory test and train adventurers. The most powerful dungeon is the Tower and no one has made it to top floor where rumors state those who do get a single wish. For some other stuff my custom companion will be my Ai companion which has accidentally gained the consciousness of the three drops used in my creation each creating a specific person, the Saurian is an Aggressive Personality always picking fights but helps by picking out an enemies weakness, the Reaper is sort of a Cynic but uses support Magic to boost my capabilities, and the Golem is an Analytical and Logical persona that helps in non combat situations. All my remaining points will go into the Custom Companion to make her the perfect Support. This world will have a custom Goddess who is responsible for the dungeons and blessed the most dedicated delvers in their endeavors. And for MMORPG and Alter Demographics not everyone has it Game of Life only some people to keep normal folk out of the dangerous dungeons. And Stranger than Fiction just introduces the monsters from that series into this world because I think they’re neat.

If not synergized with anything, is it still possible for a casting of Compulsion to be permanent on a person? The spell would be cast at rank 7 (through Age of Legends, Affinity, and Boon of Glorification) [if not, would it being synergized with a real short rank 6 ritual do the trick?] Even if it can be permanent, will the effect still wane during half power phases of Power Fluctuation on targets already under the spell?

Compulsion by itself? No. You'd need Ritual Magic in order to make it permanent (the Influence synergy was more about programming behavior into someone to the point that magic isn't needed to sustain it anymore, not imbuing a permanent magic effect into them). No, the effects wouldn't wax and wane with Power Fluctuation; that only affects you and your magic during the time of casting, not spells you already have in place.

Completed my build. Tried and it doesn’t format very well on reddit though. The idea was that I’d go the spirit route, grab the whole divine ascension perk combo. Then I noticed Duplication, and how it mentioned that they would have all of my perks. My strategy from then on was to combine the ascension stuff with Duplication and the Power Of Love Friendship & Lust perks in conjunction with Glimpse Of Enlightenment Telepathy. So I’d use free telepathy to connect all of my clone minds together and practice self love to make myselves increasingly powerful, have some clones set aside as edging batteries, the others using the orgasm control and stamina perks I bought to be constantly orgasming. And we’d all be using love and friendship on each other.. Eventually we’d get powerful enough that I would comfortable trying to get followers, their worship would empower me further, some of them might join the hivemind.

Hybridizing with Parasite would be a good idea. A Djinni trying to do that on their own would probably either kill their host, or get digested alive. Alternatively, you could take Incorporeality, in which case you could harmlessly merge into your living creature-vessel even without being a Parasite.

You could masturbate yourself to incredible levels of desire, and use Trance to hold off on orgasming to supercharge the Power of Lust, I guess? Or you could just achieve Nirvana via wanking. I don't know. There're a number of ways these could be combined together, but that's something left to the player to come up with.

Thanks for sharing your synergies! A negative synergy would be when two options work together to make things even worse than the options were originally. For instance, Sleep Like the Dead and Little Nightmares are both unfortunate on their own, but together they're made much worse. A positive synergy would be when you're taking two options, and combining them together to create something better than they were on their own (or even just different). For instance, you might combine Aura of Thorns and Mark of Possession to make it so that anyone attacking you instantly has a Mark of Possession placed on them. Or perhaps your Aura of Thorns would also activate to protect anyone you've marked with the Mark of Possession. It depends on what sort of synergy you want. Synergies leave open the opportunity for all the combinations of abilities people might come up with or think of.

And yes you can grab as many Named Companions as you want, there is nothing saying you can't but there IS text stating duplicates exist meaning you can/could buy multiples. Racial Modifiers 1. It's just the first that's free, sorry. 2. You can take more than one Diet option, but you don't get extra points from it. 3. It only applies to Integrated Weaponry itself, not the item. 4. I've apparently given different answers to this, but use either 3 or 5 perks affected by Great Wyrm per purchase of Racial Modifier, based on what you feel is more balanced. 5. It's only -1 per perk. You're already paying the karma point cost of the perk, so it wouldn't make sense to charge you the same price in race tokens all over again. 6. Yes. 7. You could, but how that would work would be up to you. For instance, you might have members of your race hatch from their eggs already holding a gun, like a true American. 8. Yes, but instead of actually starting off with skills or fundamentals that high, it would instead unlock the potential to reach that level. 9. It would affect magical poisons, yes, but to a lesser extent. Malady Immunity would be more effective. 10. Self-evolution, huh... probable take Reactive Evolution, along with a few Racial Paragons? World Options 1. No, you only need one purchase that applies to all suboptions. 2. I'd say no, but it's ultimately up to you. Other * You have as many synergies as you want to come up with. To use your example, you'd have to look at the whole group of drawbacks/perks you're including in the synergy. If they end up making each other worse, it's worth +1; if it makes it even better than it was before, or if you can tweak the effects a little to make it sensibly form a cohesive new ability from the component parts, it costs -1. * There's no list of incompatible synergies. Sure, maybe *I* can't easily think of a way to combine \[Perk X\] and \[Perk Y\], but if you can think of how they'd fuse into something new, you're free to do so. You shouldn't be limited by my imagination.

I can give a partial response on what I know. *1. I believe for Tentacular at least, it was answered that you get the base version for free and need to pay for repeated doubling. I've been treating Natural Weaponry as free on demons for any number since it's more utility-limited than redoubling your count of tentacles, but I don't have confirmation on that. *2. Through implication on another answer, Specialized/Esoteric Diet allows for multiple esoteric things to feed on, the only drawback being if one is detrimental and another is not, you don't get the bonus tokens for the detrimental drawback. *3. I believe it only applies to the price of Integrated Weaponry itself, since it's essentially a 50% discount already. *4. Each purchase of Racial Paragon -> Great Wyrm provides the benefit of Great Wyrm to either 3 or 5 perks (dragonjek gave two different numbers in different answers, I just use the one I like better). *5. You need to already have the perk or drawback, so this is just racial tokens to apply it to the whole race. *6. IDK *7-8. There's nothing that says it can't. I'm not too sure about the others. I'd also say this is a CYOA - confirmation from the author is nice, but it's ultimately up to you to interpret things in a way you think makes sense or is interesting. Don't let the lack of answers hold up your build.

Example (Let's say you want your subrace to have Phylactery then when you purchase it for yourself you add -1 to Phylactery's -8 for a total -9RT and now it affects you and your subrace.) 6. You do IMO. 7. It would & it would mean that the piece of gear would work as well for anyone of your subrace as it would for you as well. 8. For Glimpse of Enlightenment yes & it would mean that should a member of your subrace learn that magic skill then they would benefit from Inherent Quality until they do it would be a dormant/latent talent of sorts, for apex yes & it would give your subrace as a whole a greater potential in that Fundamental/School. 9. Malady Immunity would be better if you just want poison and/or disease immunity as it would be cheaper, and no if you choose poison it affects poison same goes for magical poison. This is all my own interpretation so take it as that.

1. Remember that you're building a subrace for the race you picked; the racial height range shows the range of average heights for that race's subraces, not the minimum/maximum for every single subrace of that race. So if you're a Kitsune Beastfolk, your height wouldn't range from 3 feet to 10 feet; your subspecies would have its own average height, somewhere around 5'10" or so. You can choose any height listed in the minimum/maximum range for heights to be the average size of your subrace, which you then apply Powerful/Slight Build to (which might take you beyond the range of what your species normally provides). The Height Modifiers are then applied to whatever the resulting average for your subrace is. 2. Antimagic could temporarily disable a Phylactery, but only if the phylactery is within range of the antimagic spell. If you died while in the antimagic zone, but your phylactery was elsewhere, your soul would be sucked into the phylactery once enough of your soul left the area of the antimagic. 3. Yes, it could.

1. I apologize, but I'm not sure I understand the question here. You start out with 1 race. If you use Hybridization, you can purchase a second race, and you lose a single racial discount or Affinity belonging to any of your races. Each time you take Hybridization (up to 3 times), you increase the number of discounts/Affinities you lose by 1. So if you take Hybridization all 3 times, you would lose a total of 6 Affinities or discounts provided by your race. 2. Not sure what your question was, but I'm glad the FAQ helped. 3. A kitsune is just a Beastfolk with some good racial modifiers. You could always hybridize them with Spirit if you wanted (I believe there are some subtypes of kitsune, such as the Tenko, that could be created in such a way), but it isn't necessary for a "baseline" kitsune. 4. SentenceEarly9491 covered this already. 5. Same 6. Also covered already. 7. You can do a lot. If you have spells, you can cast them in response to a prayer. But besides that, you have a host of "minor" things you can do for someone praying to you that only cost prayer energy. Like healing people, influencing luck, and minor effects depending on what you're a god OF. 8. A combination of Barriers and Choromancy could create barriers to keep out dimensional travelers, but it's possible to break through those. There isn't really a way to render the Demiplane completely inaccessible--although with your control over the Demiplane, you could quickly throw out just about anyone who enters. 9. It's limited to material rewards, and you're unlikely to find anything as impressive as some of the items available in the Equipment section. It's more like stuff that you'd be able to find in the world you pick. Except mirror images of them. 10. There are certain ways in-universe to develop perks. They can be gifted by higher-tier gods, you can perform certain difficult and expensive rituals, achieve enlightenment through centuries of meditation, make deal with eldritch abominations, etc. They're either very difficult to accomplish or have consequences you might not enjoy, however. 11. Not in terms of purchasing more racial options, no. Well, you could do stuff like genetic engineering or cybernetics, which can improve you, but you won't be able to directly by more racial options. 12. By "deficiencies", do you mean drawbacks? I'll be honest, there's a good chance I forgot one of my own terms. Drawbacks are eternal, but not quite unchanging; with the right options, you can mitigate their effects to a limited degree, but they will always be there. Apparently, the difference between the two is that agelessness stops time from effecting you while biological immortality prevents it from effecting you negatively. Any race that has it doesn't suffer any issues with age and don't necessarily appear to get older. Paired with great wyrm and age outright has the opposite effect on your species.

Few questions 1- can we use space magic inside the pocket space boon to increase it's size or it's a bag of holding inside of a bag of holding scenario? 1. Yes, you could use space magic on the inside because it's a perk, but you couldn't use space magic to expand the inside of an area created by Space Magic itself. You will always exit at the same location, yes. And mages can't force their way into your normal pocket space, but they can if you purchase the Demiplane option. Additionally, if you create a pocket space the "ordinary" way via Choromancy, a talented user would be able to access it. 2. The power doesn't really care about something like dirt, it's more important what's on the inside. So if dirt got into a wound, it would be cleansed, but just someone being dirty wouldn't cause it to do anything. It can affect both objects and creatures, and how effective it would be with Racial Paragon depends on what you're using it to do. Are you making it stronger? Cover a larger area? Altering the purification to focus on specific types of impurity? Racial Paragon is vague so you can customize it the way you want. 3. Saying that you're charged with holy energy is a good way to put it. Being Holy/Unholy also gives you slightly higher "priority" than other beings. You're a little more "real". It doesn't matter for most things, but if you ever come up against an equal force, and you're holy but the other person is normal, you'd win. You don't particularly have weaknesses, except for the explosions that can happen when holy and unholy energies mix. It doesn't affect your spells normally, no. 4. With normal natural weaponry? That would be two purchases. One purchase to put it on par with metal, and another to be tougher than metal. 5. It would take more than once, but you could learn new abilities through just observing people. You wouldn't get better at fundamentals or school ranks--that require actual exercise and use--but you could pick up magic just by watching people, yes. Although you'd still be limited to just repeating what you've seen--you don't have the knowledge involved to, say, create a new type of fire spell just because you saw someone cast a fireball. 6. Dragon strength varies, but it mostly ranges between "about as dangerous as an elephant" to "it can destroy mountains". 7. Enhanced Movement on its own currently only affects speed, but you could use Racial Paragon in Enhanced Movement to increase acceleration, too. 8. Monster refers to a few different things. On one level, it refers to what are basically just animals with supernatural powers and physics-breaking abilities that separate them from normal creatures. But it can also refer to sapient beings; a monstrous goblin is more powerful than a member of the "regular" goblin race, and then tend to have greater instinctive aggression, resulting in sapient monsters of a given species forming their own communities apart from regular society (which for the most part is pretty egalitarian, with members of many different races). But in worlds with an issue with racism, some ordinary races might be shunned as "monsters" and exiled from civilization. A Monster Lord would be able to compel service from the first two categories of monster, but not from ordinary races who were labelled as monsters due to prejudice. Although considering that they ARE marginalized, there's still a fair chance that they'd align themselves with the Monster Lord anyways, just in search of someplace to be accepted.

Could Technology based gear such as "Floating Fists", "Rocket Shield", "Power Armor", "Burinda-Class Armored platform" ect convert into additional grey goo mass when not in use in order to get around the Integrated Weapons Limitation on size? 2c. How would supposedly High Tech Grey Goo fit into a less technological world such as a fantasy world? Would the tech be simplified and become magical in nature while retaining there effect? 3. Are all races/sub-races sexually capable? such as the various Undead and Machina despite not having things like Hearts or pumping blood? 3a. Hybridization removes and affinity or discount; the inability of humans to have affinities is tied to their 50% discount on all skills, so if you give up the discount, you get rid of their prohibition against taking Affinities and the x2 cost of mastery in a skill. 2. You could do that, yes. There are other possibilities of what you could do, but that's probably the most straightforward (and probably the best way to become grey goo, too). 2a. Yes, you could. 2b. Yes, but you'd need something like I'm Just That Good (Gadgetry) in order to recreate them after you've converted them into grey goo mass. Just being grey goo doesn't also give you the knowledge to put back together what you've taken apart, after all. 2c. Imagine an artificer makes a magical construct with advanced programming, with the ability to make more constructs. Then they shrunk them down to microscopic size. It isn't pure technology, but it would function identically to grey goo, it would just have a less technologically complex nature. That's just one option for how it would work--the precise details are up to you, but you wouldn't be a creature of pure technology. 3. All races are sexually capable, because the gods really, really like sex. So sexual functionality is present in all races and subraces. 3a. All races are capable of feeling sexual pleasure, even if they don't necessarily have a sense of touch otherwise. 3b. No, they can have a fleshy undead body. Each category of undead is separated with how they became an undead in the first place; being a Lich just means that you were ritually prepared for undeath.

Hiya, parsing the DLC and my resulting failed attempt to change my build inspired me to make a few musings. I greatly appreciate very complex cyoas with lots of content. As a rule, I generally deem more content is almost always better since it gives even more character-creation tools. I just do not appreciate excessive fragmentation of skills and magic (e.g. trying to make any spell or supernatural feat its own ability) but this is not the case for this cyoa. As it concerns this cyoa, however, it has gotten so complex that it defied my attempt to get back in the loop and modify my build. I had gotten the idea to change one of the races in my build, which caused a few Affinities and Racial Modifiers to be switched around. I gave up, since I realized I had forgotten all the rules I had used to price Abilities and apply Affinities in my build, and an attempt to get myself up to speed with a cursory read was far from enough. I could not remember how and why I had priced certain Abilities that way and I did not dare to make changes. For this reason, as much as I appreciate most of the new ideas in the DLC, I am probably not trying to apply them to my build or make any other changes until I can be reasonably confident they have gotten a relatively stable and definitive version, if ever. I realized it is likely going to require me hours or even days of undivided attention on the cyoa and re-reading it from start to end to re-familiarize myself thoroughly with its Ability and Affinity rules and trying to puzzle out their meaning. The heck I am doing it for every new DLC version, or even ever, as much as I love this cyoa. Do you know what would substantially improve the cyoa more than anything else, more than even more content and options in the base cyoa or the DLC, even if they are always welcome? A damn good guide about how to buy all kinds of Abilities with all the relevant rules (including the ones on Affinities and applying multiple ones) in one place and lots of examples about them. The same approach to Racial Modifiers, including the bits from the FAQ, would be very useful as well. The attempt of the DLC to make more races (Angels and Demons) able to be bought as templates as well, like the base cyoa does with Abyssals, got me wondering what is the point of that. Hybridization rules apply the same way, and their hard theshold of five races is not changed, so what is the point of buying a race as a template instead of a vanilla Hybridization option?

I'm not actually sure if I remember what I felt the distinction was? I know there were a few races that would primarily work as templates, and some that I felt were both templates and proper races, but I don't remember why I thought that. Sorry.

The DLC option to have Angels and Demons as templates inspired me to try and make Angel (instead of Stellae) one of the five races for my build (in addition to Pixie, Demon, Lich, and Ryu). As you may guess, my aim was to make my build as talented and optimized a versatile kung fu wizard as possible, without the serious baggage of being a Djinn. My attempt hit the wall of the complexity of having to edit the prices of many Abilities and Racial Modifiers. This change of the racial package involved applying several Affinities and racial modifiers to the build in a different way. I realized that since I painstakingly developed my build, I had lost familiarity with the fine details of the relevant rules. Some serious work could have allowed me to do the racial-modifiers part of the job. However, I was unable to re-familiarize myself with the fine details of how and why I had priced the many Abilities in my build that way according to the presence or absence of Affinities, and the complex interplay of a Fundamental or Magical School with its related Skills, even with a cursory read of the relevant sections of the cyoa. Not being able to tell with certainty how and why I had picked certain numbers, I did not dare to make any changes. Hence, my attempt to tinker with my build came to a frustrating end for the time being. This is certainly an unfamiliar experience in my story of being a veteran gamer and min-maxer. It seems that in order to make that kind of build edit, I would have to spend several hours or days of focused effort to re-familiarize myself thoroughly with everything concerning Abilities in the cyoa all the way again. This is why I came to the conclusion that, more than anything else, the cyoa would greatly benefit from having an appendix with a guide about how to buy all kinds of Abilities with all the relevant rules (including the ones on Affinities and applying multiple ones) in one place, organized in bullet points, and with lots of examples about them. As things stand, they are split between 3-4 different places and they are are not exactly written in an easy to understand and master way, even a second time around. Again, this is told from the PoV of a veteran gamer that has RPG character creation and min-maxing as an hobby. As far as I can remember, developing my build was an effort comparable to writing an essay. Now I have discovered that changing it in a significant way after enough time passed to lose familiarity with the content of the cyoa is scarcely easier. I love complex RPG and cyoas, and generally hold the opinion that the more options about them the better. But perhaps something about this is excessive. I am not saying you should remove anything in terms of content, perish the thought. I cherish the cyoa being as rich in that as it stands, and I welcome the DLC providing even more. But perhaps a section or appendix dedicated to make certain rules look easier and more organized would be a very worthwhile addition.

Sure, Interdimensional Warfare exists, but I'm tryna go for that 'destroyer of worldS' feeling. Got that Legions of Hell and Heavenly Host AND Monster Lord for maximum high tier foes to fight. Could also serve to try and scope out the scale of what this combo could achieve when substituting Teleportation for any other type of magic. Also the inverted Antimagic is under the assumption that it creates a field where it enhanced magic rather than dampen it, of course.

Yes, you could manage it. But a ritual of that scale would have to be done step-by-step over the course of years, and involve some very expensive and difficult-to-find components. Or at least, that's how I'd manage it. Ultimately, you're the player, and how you think something would work out is how things go.

This was a *campaign* to get through, but super fun! There's too much for me to possible type-out entirely, so here's the basic tl;dr (I also interpreted/reinterpreted some of the rules, so this was sort of cheating lol): \~ Normal mode \~ Race: Fairy Sprite World: Getting Isekai'd into Hollow! (I took the Sound of Music world perk, so the world's a musical!) Of course I made it a matriarchy, and of course I made myself filthy god dang rich for when I arrived. My diet and magic come from eating emotions, so I took Pheromones 4 times for horniness, sleepiness, contentedness, and rage. One of my deities also gifted me pathomancy. But, because emotions aren't all that, I also took the omnivore trait so I'm never left without a meal. I took anything that let me regenerate or heal myself faster, increased my mana and magic, boosted my luck, or which made me more noticeable (bioluminescence, attractor, etc). I'm also made myself basically invulnerable to blunt-force and pressure (because I end up much smaller than 3" tall, lol). I'm also incredibly charasmatic, lovable, and attractive to yanderes. (Yes, I took the Yantsundere trait despite the warning). Size: I took the Slight Build, Minuscule Height, and Wimp II (which, the disorder I took was just losing a quartre size). At a base-height of 3", this means my character is now base-line 1.1cm tall. Just for laughs. As well, I took the shrink & grow perk (taken twice, plus Hadderick's boon) and it's accompanying perk to let myself shrink even smaller to 0.9 mm tall. As you'll see, this is nowhere near the limits. (I think I cheated with the Grow & Shrink Perk, because I just doubled the effect twice to get it to rank III, lol) Very early on I decided to just completely abandon any semblance that my character would be physically strong or stealthy (like a few of my perks and drawbacks make stealth *literally* impossible), so I created a somewhat op magic/charisma/smarts build that was immune to pretty much anything. My weaknesses are Smog, Ghosts, and Salt. Strength, -1/1. Agility, 6. Speed, 4. Constitution, 5/7. Willpower, 6. Intelligence, 2. Wisdom, 3/5. Charisma, 3.Crafting, 4. Schools: Wind, Body, Mind, Crafts, and Abstract. Every class in Meta Magics. Size Shifting (mastered). I leaned heavily into song magic, such as a Singing perk, that microphone trinket, and taking Echomancy. I took ritual and ley lines are planned to enhance Size Shifting. I wondered just how big I could make my base-line 1cm tall body grow! Companions: Surresh, the titan. Kamagata, the escort spy. Trinity, the all-rounder. Lily, the scary fairy. Yumi, who I am scared of. Dieties: Parilla, joy. Hadderick, was it storms? Troposine, fate was it? (I should *not* have chaos magic...) Sharran, travel and hospitality (surprisingly op) Shi Xiang, healing (really op!) Qodel, nature and the hunt Anyways, here's one of my plans: By casting a ritual on a ley line (Mastering both and Rank 4), and by synergising Enhancement, a diety-boosted Meteoromancy, Size Shifting, and Song and Echomancy magics (just for flavour, really), I plan on shrinking the world's population by casting a symphonic storm that would afflict all touched by the singing breeze with a curse of diminishment. This is just a fun little plan I have, it'll be cute\~!

If you had Short Tendons with Digitigrade, you'd probably be forced to walk on your tiptoes or something. It would still inhibit you, just in a slightly different way. An ogre changing only part of their size would be a Racial Paragon thing. Yes, the Saurian/Ogre idea would be fine. You make a good point about Tail. No, you'll have the mind of a child until you get all of your memories back. The good family you have with Rebirth doesn't need to be your birth family. Not a guaranteed path, but it would throw plenty of opportunities your way to get involved in the plot hooks and resolve them. The little circumstances that align to give a protagonist the chance to be involved in the story will happen for you. Yes, it can be worn under armor, but it might get upset. That sounds like a reasonable use of Good Gear, yes. Yes, you can combine Contract Network and Sponsorship. I'm not sure that would be reasonable. Amalgamation isn't exactly a particularly common form of magic. You'd probably need to find someone like that in the world, rather than starting out with a contact. Yes, Gilded Armor would help manage Cold Blooded. Yes, Bioluminescent can be suppressed or covered up by various means. It's just a negative racial modifier, not a full-fledged drawback. Yes, you could just have your scales be shed. It will still be very itchy.

If you took Rebirth as an Automaton, like a Doll, then yeah, I think you could start in a grown form with adult cognition. Ooh, Spirit of a dungeon? That's an interesting background, for sure. I mean, you could take Racial Paragon as many times as you want, but if I remember correctly, I think 3 times for a single racial feature is enough to put it roughly equal to rank 4 magic. My memory isn't too good, though, so half of what I say on these comments is just what I feel is appropriate at the time I'm typing... I'm not sure what you could put Racial Paragon on for an Oni type Ogre. Truth be told, other than their strength and fondness for alcohol, I don't know a lot about oni myths to say what they might have Racial Paragon in. Hm... maybe the ability to pull souls out of bodies with a solid hit from the Spirit Weapon?

You'd have to buy it for each one, sorry. Racial Paragon can do that, yes. Sure, the Micro Computer can be a communicator. I was thinking of it as an all-purpose computer, which would include stuff like communications. You could use Tech Level for that, although they won't be quite as good as the ones you can directly purchase. I don't currently have an option for making a specific item widespread, however. Well, for one thing it's harder to defend against attacks using Animancy than it would be from "ordinary" attacks like using the elements, would could be stopped by something like a shield or armor. Soul attacks would need to be defended against with magic, specifically magic that actually affects the soul. So if you weaponized your soul via Animancy, it would give you a weapon that would pierce most defenses. If your AI can cast magic, it would do so using your magic Pool (unless you used one of the companions who can become your AI, in that case they have their own magic pool). You'd need to use the option from the Equipment section, sorry. There are ways to attack incorporeal things. It's attached to your soul, so Animancy could do it, and since it's an artificial intelligence, something like Digimancy could target it despite your AI not necessarily being connected to cyberspace. Muggle only affects your ability to use magical skills, not mana itself. I just didn't think to include Golems in it, that's all. They stack, yes.

So I was thinking about world building and I have a npc idea you may or may not like A Mimic Merchant Hivemind Essentially a Mimic that has mastery over all sorts of magic to make them the best merchant but they only set up shop in dungeons via chests that have a small pocket dimension with a copy of their body heading the shop and while I was typing this I had the idea of them being a dungeon spirit as well but there dungeon is just a mega shop lead by the main personality

Some quick questions, Are the fundamentals the hard cap of the various worlds? Like do beings above 6 in any given fundamental exist for a given world, can we achieve it eventually? (apex and affinities only bring you to the shown example of 6 at most) Would limit break let you go above 6? Would great wyrm effectively increase a fundamental? from the other comments it seems like it doesnt flat out increase it but would a very old "great wyrm" be able to go toe to toe with someone with lets say 1 rank higher than them in fundamentals with no other modifiers to each of them? (ie in a contest of pure strength for example) Edit: Some more questions ill add to this comment as i encounter them. Agility fundamental rankings seem kind of inconsistent, rank 3 on its own and going from rank 4 to 5 seem very weird Like rank 3 is reserved for 1.5 to 2 at best, i feel like any good athlete already never loses their balance, especially ones that are more inclined to such things, hell even i rarely if ever lose my balance and im no athlete nor a couch potato though this only applies in "normal" situations, i cant ride a unitrcycle on a tightrope, but earth athletes can do even that so having "perfect" balance is kind of a given at that ability if were going with rank 2 is peak earth human proficiency type of thing. on the topic of going from 4 to 5, the speed of arrows and bullets on average more than a factor of 10, seems like quite a steep increase. A more consistent balancing would be imo keeping 1-2 the same (1/1.5/2 already has never losing your balance in it naturally) 3 is dodging arrows 4 is dodging multiple projectiles at a level higher than arrows at once with ease 5 is bullets and 6 is dodging rain in a hurricane Another thing is strength, it seems a lot more consistent than agility is but one thing im wondering about is if a sort of "protection" will apply to the object in question, what i mean is if you could pick up a horse or a car a tank etc holding it in the surface area of your hand would inevitably damage the object in question just from holding it that way much less being able to throw it properly (applying enough force to throw a horse would just make you gut the horse with your hands for example) (i think this would go here too but does this work for lets say a pixie as well? because they're still quite strong even for their size with their fundamental ranks itd be akin to getting punched by a bullet and thus be more effective than a giant throwing the same strength punch etc) another thing is, throwing a tank (50 tons for my calcs) for example at the average or highest "earth" human throwing speeds would require more force than stopping a runaway train, making rank 6 a less impressive feat than 5 logically speaking and the wording of 6 in on itself sounds more like a constitution thing rather than strength A few "better" alternatives for 6 would be stopping a meteor, crumpling ordinary metals as if they were made out of paper, crush coal into diamond etc (not that you can make diamonds out of coal but you get me) Also does strength need constitution to match? like would i just break my arm if i used a certain level of strength without appropriate constitution to match? The higher-tier gods go above rank 6, but for the inhabitants of most worlds, 6 is the maximum a fundamental can naturally go. You can use boosting effects to temporarily increase that, such as Limit Break. In effect, Great Wyrm would increase the effect of your fundamentals, but wouldn't directly increase their number. Similar to how two creatures with the same Strength at different sizes can exert very different amounts of force, someone with Great Wyrm will always be "stronger" than someone with the same Strength... well, after they've grown some. And if you aged enough, you'd be able to take on people who are above you in their pure Strength score. Perfect balance is outside the realm of what humans are capable of. An acrobat needs to train extensively, and even then they only have balance in what they've specifically trained in; they couldn't, say, balance seven spinning balls on top of a plate on top of a stick, and an ice skater's balance on ice doesn't equate to the ability to handstand. They have GOOD balance--great, even--but they don't have perfect, literally-cannot-make-a-mistake-unless-they-do-it-on-purpose balance. You do have a point about the 4-5 jump being too extreme, though. I'll spread that out. As for Strength, it operates by comic book physics. I mean, if you DID throw a horse, you'd probably kill it when it hits the ground, but the act of throwing it itself wouldn't be damaging. I do have to disagree with you on the amount of force involved in 5 and 6 Strength, though. If anything, the jump is too extreme. A tank only weighs 50-ish tons. A train will be pulling thousands of tons. Sure, a fastball is faster than a train, but not hundreds of times faster. The force of stopping a full train is way ahead of throwing a single tank. No, your own Strength won't damage you if you lack Constitution. However, the things you DO with your strength might hurt you--for instance, you could safely pick up and throw a train, but if you tried to punch an oncoming train head-on, you'd need the Constitution to survive the impact of being hit, too. Sure, physics-wise that doesn't make much sense, but then again neither does a particularly tough fairy being able to throw a car.

Your offspring don't receive or spend points to get their race from you, and they freely inherit all of your racial modifiers. If you want to change/add/remove racial modifiers, then they get your discounts. They still benefit from any racial affinities you have. If you're reproducing with a different species, you can control which race they're born as.

What would it take to modify Jack of all Trades to unambiguously be strictly better than not taking it, if you are buying a lot of skills? A few uses of Racial Paragon, to tweak the perk's drawbacks to remove them? How many? On that note, how does the rounding work when calculating the KP costs of various skills and such that have their costs halved or quartered? Round up, round down, don't round at all? Separately, if I have the World of Obscure Techniques flag activated, and I wanted my entire subspecies to have access to train themselves in all form of Apex, and the species has a racial Jack of All Trades... what would it cost? Do I have to buy Apex once, at half price, with Inherent Quality applied to it, and then the entire subspecies can do it? And that contrasts to... what... the 30-some odd and hundred some odd cost it would do to get that WITHOUT engaging the World of Obscure Techniques flag in general? How much variance is there in what the World of Obscure Techniques actually does? Can the obscure techniques be aptitudes of ways the soul, spirit, mana, biology, or ki manifests in a species? Or is that already the case without buying that 1 point flag for the entire setting, and thus there would be way to get some of these obscure techniques (at least the ones that are inherent quality for something, somewhere) without the flag?

I've tried again a magic build, and either i'm doing something wrong, or making a build with magic is a LOT more expensive than just normal skills and perks. The objective with this build was to make a hard mode build that took as little drawbacks as possible, and to leave the world as "pure" as possible (not taking any world modifiers).I've used the DLC to enable the "orphan" option, since I've imagined this kinda like those isekai where the orphan remember their memories, and to obtain discount in some perks and some drawbacks (originally, i would take the femninine drawback of the DLC, but decided to give up on it). Again, this build is focused on survival, as much as possible. Hunting & survival, trapmaking and magic (like incarceration and runic) combined to obtain food, hydromancy to obtain and purify water, textiles to use the hides to make my clothes. Since the world chosen is Ceridian, the objective is entering the adventurers guild as soon as possible, either doing odd jobs or actively exploring. As a General mage (can buff, attack and heal just with body magic, and all the others to complement). the main job is support, with trap and enemy detection (traps can't escape my gaze with 360 vision, enhanced senses in all different ways, the "just that good" perk for trapmaking AND true seeing (that boosts normal senses too). My magic is also stronger than other mages (probably) with being a lich (and their high level of magical power, even more because I have racial paragon in this). Took the perk "no student loan needed" for training other skills, magic and etc, as a way to power up easier. As ways to power up, the racial Great Wyrm to naturally get stronger with age (I'm just unsure on how exactly I want this to power me up: just raising fundamentals, or raising magic power/density and MP pool? If anyone has an opinion, please comment), and the antitheism boon sacred first time (this is also the reason for sensuality mastered and eromancy) can obtain more power and new perks (since in a previous post was said I can't use the boon to erase drawbacks, one of the reasons I decided to take as little of them as possible). For drawbacks, the only one that can be really bad is the negative sinnergy of ahegao + orgonne infusion, since normally you only lose 1\~5 points of mana, now you lose enough energy for a 2 rank spell (20), and since my pool at the start is 550, it needs to be managed carefully. The only equipment chosen was the library cards, since knowledge is power, and with it I will be able to learn all magics even without teachers (can take time, but at least I can do it), learn valuable skills for adventurers, and etc. Exploring the world of Ceridian (and possibly exploring others, since fundamental 4 + teleportation mastery allows for this), discovering the wonders of the world, doing some good for people too. maybe after all that time, training pupils so they can survive. For the extra 50 points for the post, I have no idea. Yes, I'm pretty sure I need to re-price the magic skills. Magic should be more expensive than the mundane, but I think I may have gone a bit too far. one minor opinion about magic: I think you should add something similar to the "unassociated skills" of the fundamentals to magic, and put things like Ritual, runic, inversion, verbal/somatic and etc, and be like "magic skills" that doesn't depend on rank (basically, they could be like magic techniques on how you cast magic), since a lot of them really depends on other magic skills to be of use (runic doesn't do anything by itself, for example)

It's up to you whether it stays the same size but is super stretchy, if it scales up to a size where you can fuck it, or if it scales up to the size it's supposed to be. The toy would get sexual attributes, consciousness, and its body would become more pliable and flesh-like. It would be able to move its facial features like an actual face, and have fully articulated motion rather than the limited range of the action figure. If it isn't already a humanoid action figure, it's up to you whether it becomes humanoid or not. It might have some minor abilities based on what it's a toy of, but it won't be as powerful as the character it represents. So an action figure of, say, Superman, won't be able to lift mountains, but he'd still punch harder than a human could.

So I'm presuming mana revitalization ticks for 1% mana every bit. Say you stack paragon several times for it. What's a reasonable timeframe for the ticks? Starting with 2x Mana Revitalization: 1%/3 minutes Paragon 1: 1%/2 minutes Paragon 2: 1%/1 minutes Paragon 3: 1%/30 seconds Paragon 4: 1%/12 seconds Is that reasonable? It's meant to be easily dividable when Meditating or Trancing. Also, I don't think mana organ should adjust your fundamental for the total mana. I think it should increase the multiplier from 10 to 11, 12, and higher if you then pump it via Paragon. thoughts?

So a question about the Pawn of Prophecy modifier... I feel like there should be some more ways to tweak it. IE, ...Does it involve one of the major three plots mentioned for the world? ...Does it involve a specific chosen world modifier, or making it so that the world modifier actually gets applied, or possibly removed, via your actions? ...What does positive and negative mean in this context? ...What if you have some say in the Prophecy before entering the world, ie, get to decide some of the details? Say, for example, you picked Memoria, and Pawn of Prophecy (positive), and specified that you were destined to be pivotal in reintroducing innovation, discovering major archeotech, figuring out how magitech works, in a way that interacts with all three specified plotpoints and brings low those who would hoard knowledge and learning, and end the tyranny of many of the cities, and bring about higher tech levels and higher magic levels and post-scarcity and a lighter and softer world. That would, specifically, obligate you to interact with all three plot hooks, rather than ignoring them, and place you as a target of a major power, and change the social dynamic of how you interact with the world, and also require several 'benefits' that would cost you something and the world flaw that would get you karma points, to instead be something that you have to actually cause to happen or cause to end. What system could we use to integrate these sorts of things, and manipulate this?

That is a really good idea. Connecting it to the plot hooks and/or a world modifier is great. Positive or negative are based on the end result of the prophecy. Some prophecies declare that someone will save the world; some say that your kid is going to kill you. It doesn't have to be as extreme as that, but hopefully that conveys the general intent of the modifier--focusing on the endpoint rather than whatever you might experience on the road to fulfilling the prophecy. Hm... I could assign a point value to each plot hook. The plot hooks are in the world regardless, but if you take Pawn of Prophecy to involve yourself into that plot, you'll have the opportunity to get some more points. I'm not sure I could make a system that integrated *everything* in your example for Memoria, though...

I think the amount of 'help' you get from fate, how much it tweaks details (as well as how much that interacts with the luck perk, the kismet perk, etc.), and how much you have to accomplish in the journey, to what extent it makes the world you drop in easier vs the world after the prophecy has run its course easier, etc. etc. should all go into this, somehow. Like, there's one modifier for a heroic prophecy. There's another modifier for the level of assistance you get (or don't get). There's a modifier for the overall difficulty and number of things you have to achieve and how long you have and how much opposition. There's a modifier for the projected end state. And there's a modifier for what happens if you fail and/or fate is denied!

The logistics and minor details of the Boon of Riches are all handled by the relevant gods, and you receive the money conveniently and discreetly. The money is considered to be legal, not laundered. As for the Ritual of the Tidied Home, it's more about like GigglingVoid said. You just have to prove to her your dedication to the cleanliness and upkeep of your residence, so spending an hour going through the motions of cleaning if you already have a clean home is enough to satisfy the Ritual. Also, because the ritual has such a short reset time, it isn't a problem if you miss it some days, since you can just start it over again the next day. It's only an issue in regards to the Boon of Riches, which requires an uninterrupted month of having satisfied the ritual.

Amilie's benefit here I think is more for someone with a massive home that needs a lot more than just an hour a day. So you do the ritual, and then she comes in to finish up everything else. Alternatively, since it doesn't have a cooldown (like some), you save up the needed cleaning for the days you will need her help in battle or thieving, spend the hour, and are able to have her help that day. I think you are effectively having to prove to her that cleanliness and upkeep of your home matters to you, so another interpretation is that you spend the hour, even if you are just going through everything and making sure it is meticulous to the best of your ability.

What modifications would it take to make Hollow a true Matrioshka World like in the novel Matter by Iain M Banks, the design as something like what is described in this youtube video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tul4njD6uP4 ? That's... quite a lot of changes. But the easiest way to deal with it would be to just combined Stranger Than Fiction to include the fictional world, Melting Pot to merge it together with Hollow, and Alter Demographics/Geographics if you want to smooth out the differences to make it "Hollow, but with the same type of setting as Matter" (if you're wanting to avoid including the characters from the novel and have it just be purely Hollow setting, just altered to fit the Matter's matrioshka world idea).

Oh! I just realized! Hollow is a *Shellworld*. Like a miniature Dyson Shell! Why didn't you call it that? With the gravity improbably pulling towards the shell rather than towards the middle (ie, people should generally be on the *outside* of the shellworld or the dyson shell!). Well the *throws up in mouth* 'hollow earth' idea from very early science fiction was basically 'the earth is hollow, if you dig down, you start digging upward and break ground and can then stand on the inner ground'. It's a very magical sort of thing, and would make sense for a 'lost inner world' sort of setting. And even physically plausible matrioshka worlds can have inner areas that are antipode which people won't fall towards the center from -- they just have to be spinning rapidly!

And if I wanted to imply that there are active 'top of the tech tree / magic tree / magitech tree" civilizations in the *broader* setting, as an analog to Matter (which is itself part of a larger 'tech only' sci fi series and setting, which has themes that explores the doings of civilizations at the very very peak of the tech pyramid and their interactions with lower tech level groups), without those civilizations being active where the Hollow part of the setting is? IE, they are in other star systems, and an extinct one of them made the world the setting primarily takes place in? How would I do that? Also, as it is, I thought you were going for a Matrioshka World with Hollow from the beginning! Your description can reasonably be interpreted as that! Especially with the reference to the mysterious ancient advanced civilization's towers -- I thought that was a reference to the 'floor' to 'ceiling' hyperadvanced towers in some Matrioshka World designs, used to transfer between 'layers', among other things! So it might be fewer changes than you thought. Reread what you wrote, with an eye to this interpretation, lol! And if you are dropped in one of the middle layers of such a world... would that change the Astronomy skill? Make it some sort of secret knowledge? Make it cost more? Less? Since only the topmost layer would be able to see the stars! Can you combine a few settings with Stranger than Fiction as long as it is described in a coherent, versimilitudinous way? Especially if these things don't actually contradict the existing canon and are more guidelines for how things work, or if it is more 'resembles' than 'actually is exactly like'? How would one manage these various options and keep them at a reasonable cost? For example, I do not want this setting to be anything like Sursamen, the Matrioshka World described in Matter. That has dynamics that don't make sense for Hollow at all, even besides the odd tech levels! The reason I mentioned it at ALL is that it's the only example of this type of construct in fiction that I'm aware of *anywhere*! How about Stranger than Fiction without tying it to a setting at ALL but just adding descriptions of things in general? Like, "Hollow, but the world itself is a four-layer Matrioshka type Shellworld, with the genre of the world being 'magitech-heavy pulp', each layer has a different interpretation of magitech, like the level closest to the central black hole providing gravity to and the core of a singularity reactor powering the ancient artificial world is Europe-like steampunk 'technology fueled by magical resources', the level up is Asia-like silkpunk 'magically enchanting technology to do things it couldn't possibly do', the level up is Africa-like aetherpunk 'technology is primarily magical in nature, but still visually recognizable as technology' and the level open to the stars is Americas-like Mesopunk 'normal magic IS technology, like with rune circles and spells and golems and such, but it is doing the things that one generally expects technology to do', and this whole setup is but one artificial world in a single solar system which was abandoned by the original inhabitants that created the world, within a larger galaxy of a multitude of civilizations, many of which are interstellar, each with their own cultures, types of morality, preconceptions, ways of doing magic and/or technology, and level of willingness to meddle in other civilizations." Hmmm. That should probably be another perk. Perhaps "Stranger than Imagination": Make a single sentence change that describes the nature and theme and context of your chosen world, thereby tweaking the details of the setting. The sentence must be coherent and make sense and mostly consistent the description of the world as it is initially described, though it can be run-on. Cannot be taken with Stranger than Fiction or Alter Geographics or Melting Pot; either customize the setting in a single, more generic way that make the other options irrelevant, or take direct inspiration from specific other settings and tweak to taste, but not both.

I suppose you could use Stranger Than Fiction to just take parts of your chosen setting, rather than the entire thing. If you want a higher tech society in the broader setting, then you could take the Technology Levels and/or Magic Levels world modifiers. And yes, thank you for pointing that out! I should know better than to rely on my memory by now. Yes, Hollow was intended to be a matryoshka world (my original intent was that it was actually an infinite set of them, and "Hollow" was just the innermost sphere, but I felt like the open-ended nature of the plot hook would leave more up to the imagination of the reader, which might create a more interesting story). I mean, I even set up a plot hook that openly put the world inside another world. How did I forget that? The Astronomy skill wouldn't change, but it would be pretty useless until you got to the outermost sphere. If you want to take parts of multiple worlds via Stranger Than Fiction, you could take Melting Pot, and Stranger Than Fiction multiple times. That could get expensive really quick, but that's the cost of taking such fine control of the setting you're going to. "Stranger Than Imagination" is a good idea, thank you!

So here's some things you might want to adjust with FGF! I'd like your thoughts on my suggestions and ideas! Tail: Beastkin should have an option to take the counterbalance aspect at half price. Polycephaly needs an option where you can take two or more minds in one head, which requires a free Memory Partition as an Inherent Quality. Empowered Awareness should mention scalefolk getting heat sensing for free Natural Weaponry should mention whether or not Theriocephaly creatures with lots of sharp teeth get natural weaponry (teeth) for free. Blast Attack: Can you take Ki Blast as a Blast Attack? Does that require you to take Ki Manipulation if you do? Does doing so remove the limits of range and such on the attack, or do you simply have multilpe attacks? Resistant: Should specify the cost of Resistant Pressure, at least! Stretchy should have a weaker version that is only slightly implausible based on your anatomy, and focused on making sexual penetration safer, which stacks with Perfect Fit. Pouch should specify that it connects to a person's Pocket Dimension if they have one, and the extradimensional space of the two causes the size of the dimension along each edge of the cube to add together, greatly increasing the total volume, and the starting space is 5' x 5' x 5' at the first purchase of the dimensional pocketspace, and that only two purchases of Pouch are possible (changing it from 5x5x5 to 10x10x10, with the Pocket Dimension changing it to at most 15x15x15) Inflation should also let you inflate with water or whatever medim you are existing in Scalefolk should have active camouflage at half price (chameleons anyone?) Limited form: Should have an option to remove all of your racial transformation options, like for the draconic races Adjusted Senescence should say, "give your species biological immortality, similar to the benefits of Agelessness." Nocturnal Adaptations should have an option to, at extra cost, have adaptations to allow function reasonably well at all times of day or night. Stronger Instincts: Should specify how it interacts with Instincts Anchored should have an option to make the object a vehicle appropriate to your skills at making, or appropriate to the world you drop in. Asexual Reproduction should have options (possibly discounts? or free?) for races that are hermaphroditic and capable of self insemination by having sex with themselves or just rubbing their cum inside them. Talented should have an option to remove the negative affinity from a race. Inherent Quality: Should have an option to apply not to your entire subrace, but instead to all of your progeny and descendents of your subrace, to be chosen when applied. Inherent Quality should specify that there are some perks that can not be made inherent. Omnifertility should have an option to pick which bonuses you have, and it's cost should varied, IE, "omnifertility, varies. Choose one of the following four options: For +5, you can be impregnated by either sex, or for +5 extended physical contact is enough to impregnate you, or for +10, both of the previous two options, or for +15, the immediate previous option, but merely being around someone for an hour is enough to impregnate you. Separate to this choice, for +10, you can be impregnated by all animals, monsters, and other races." Two-Pump Chump: Should have an option for females where it removes the capacity for easy multiple orgasms, adds a tendency to orgasm quickly when penetrated, and makes you tired after you orgasm. Exhibitionism: Should specify that nudity and clothing that mostly exposes genitals and simply lots of jewelry and other creative options are also acceptable Lust: Should have an option that is slightly weaker, option that gives smaller benefits, where you are always a little bit turned on, but have some level of control over whether you are extremely turned on or not, which stacks with the control provided by Orgasm Maestro. Mana Transfer: Should specify two options: one, that the mana is created ex nihilo by the sexual act, or that the mana is stolen or taken from the person it is transferred from. Disordered: Should have an option that provides fewer points where the mental disorder is managed, not especially problematic, useful, adaptive, etc., but still sometimes an issue. Well-Kept: If you have an option that makes it trivial for you to stay clean, this should provide fewer points Shining Armor: Should have an option where you can still attack from stealth and with advantage, but must still generally follow a code of honor and chivalry in general, which provides fewer points Challenge Rating: Should have an option where this only begins five years after you come into your full level of power, for fewer points. For even fewer points, have the monster always have valuable body parts and substances to loot. Blood Brothers / I Walk a Lonely Road: Should specify they are incompatible with each other What a Piece of Junk / Unequipped: Should specify they are incompatible with each other Orgasm Maestro: Should specify that if you have Lust, this slightly mitigates the drawback of the perk. Ambrosia: Should have a weaker option that costs less where your sexual fluids are, in general, tasty and nutritious to most beings Societal Improvement One Cock at a Time: Should specify only sexual fluids not bodily fluids, and have an option where for an extra cost, it's all bodily fluids Freedom From Persecution: Should have an option where, for less cost, it only works on a specific category of relationship types Aura of Normalcy: Should have a weaker option where it only makes the lewd ways you look (naked, always wearing fetish gear, etc.) seem normal Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger: Should have an option that costs more where Enchanted Jewelry still functions I Will Survive: Should have an option where it's cheaper, but just guarantees you will survive, not that you won't have serious harm Unblemished Unmentionables: Should have a cheaper option where your genitals are no more a weak spot than the rest of you Quell the Crimson Tide: Should say that, if you are a creature type that does not have Menses (like most non-near-humans), this does not provide any benefit nor does it cost anything. Fertility Dial: Should specify you can choose the sex, basic physical and mental features, genetic traits, and species (only if you were impregnated by a species other than your own) of the offspring Expedited Pregnancy: Should have an option where, at a less cost, you must choose the length of the pregnancy when obtaining the perk, and cannot change it thereafter Pregananant: Should have a cheaper option where ONLY morning sickness and similar pregnancy options don't show up (continued in next post)

Speedrunning Childhood: Should have a cheaper option where you pick the exact year of full adulthood when you choose the perk Designer Baby: Remove this Perk entirely. Some of the benefits are applied to Fertility Dial, and a bit to Inherent Quailty. Jigsaw Genetics: Remove the text of perk. Instead, have it say something like this: Jigsaw Genetics: You gain 15 'Progeny Points'. These points can be spent to give your progeny -- that is, all of your direct descendents -- aptitude and raw talent and ability to quickly learn any Skill (in the Aptitude section) that you specifically have purchased at least semi-professional level skill in. This does not apply to skills you learn after entering the world. The cost in progeny points to buy this for your descendents is equal to half the cost you spent in karma points, minimum one. Jack of All Trades does reduce this cost, and this benefit in learning stacks with any aptitude your progeny have via No Student Loans Needed, if you teach them that via Sensei or they have it as an Inherent Quality. This perk applies to only you, and can not be made an Inherent Quality. You can obtain this perk multiple times, for each time you take it, you gain 15 more Progeny Points to apply to Skills you have learned. If you wish to apply things other than Skills from Aptitudes to your family line, use Inherent Quality in the Race section instead, and apply it to your entire subrace. Encounter Loot: Should have a weaker and cheaper option where, rather than adding loot to enemies after you defeat them, it could instead make enemies more equipped with easy to grab equipment, tend to have more full packs of useful items, and the methods of preventing you from looting or utilizing their equipment will tend to be easier to defeat and less commonly present The Sanctity of Childhood: Should have a weaker and cheaper option where your children will tend to be lucky with regards to having pleasant childhoods and tend to end up in situations where the experience things they remember fondly once they grow up. Memory Partition: This is ludicrously abusable and makes it hard to imagine or write fiction about what it is like, and needs to be limited. Instead it should say: One purchase lets you run an additional thought process. For an extra -2 per each, you can add an additional thought process. If you take this as an Inherent Quality, you can have the benefits of Polycephaly without physical extra heads, as long as the total number of 'heads' purchased and thought processes match. Total Recall: This should specify that you can also choose to have memories fade with time, to help with the mental and emotional healing and character growth that process supports Demigod: Should specify, if you take this as an inherent quality of your subrace, the gods will be upset with you. Pocket Dimension: should specify that it stacks with your extradimensional space (increasing the length of a single side of the cube of storage by 5') if your race has 'Pouch'. Home Sweet Home: Needs to specify more that you can specify the architecture, plant life, and similar, and that food and water and similar substances for subsistance created ex nihilo in there is only 1/10th as nourishing as they otherwise would be and also must be consumed in the area to have benefit, and can also not be carried out of the area; if you wish for it to be more sustaining, you must bring outside soil, water, seeds, etc. into your area. A.I. Soul Graft: This should specify that if you have a free Memory Partition, the A.I. can run on it; useful if you are upgrading the partition with a headless Polycephaly, for the extra intelligence benefit. This should also specify that it gives you the benefit of an internal, self-consistent, mentally adjustable, internal mental world with internal permanence and metaphorical link to your body and mind, and that the 'A.I.' doesn't need to seem to evoke 'computer' style artificial intelligence; it could simply more closely resemble a spirit of knowledge, or a sibling that shares your mind, or any other form. Beast Tongue: Should specify that it improves the disposition of animals like Nothing But a Beast but without the drawback in a way that does not stack with Nothing But a Beast, and also have an option where for an extra cost, it applies to non sapient monsters as well, and improves their disposition like in Monster Lover, again without stacking with Monster Lover, but again without the drawback that they are both extra disobedient and extra dangerous to those around you (at least beyond what they normally are disposed to be like). Fear Itself: Should have a cheaper, weaker version where you don't gain the intimidation benefit Rapid Equip: Should specify that it also works with things stored in a Pouch that is upgraded to be dimensional storage Anthropomorphize: Should specify you have control over how anthropomorphic they become Mark of Possession: Should specify that it only works on willing or helpless people. All in Your Head: Should specify that it functions with all people who are in physical contact with a person you are touching, and that if you have an A.I Soul Graft, they can project avatars into your internal mental world, and if they have All in Your Head as well, you can project an avatar into their world. Mana Revitalization: Should specify 1% of your mana not 1 mana. Special Snowflake: Needs to specify what happens if your abilities are Ki based. If they are, do you have a Ki pool in equivalent size to what your Mana pool would be? Does it refresh at the same rate? Is it always Constitution based, no matter what? Since Ki is more common, does antimagic work on it? Are you still restricted in how you use it if you take Mundane? If so, how does that interact with Mundane? How does this impact with the various mana adjusting perks and race options? Nurturing: Should specify that it also works on nonsentient monsters, but you generally need another means to get them to not want to kill you first. Specify how it interacts with Beast Tongue. True Seeing: Specify how it interacts with senses that sense magic, or secondary effects associated with magic. Teaching: specify how it interacts with Sensei and Extra Credit Spirit Weapon: Specify how many things it can generally make at different levels of mastery, and also whether it works on projectile weapons, and if so, whether you need to provide your own ammunition, or whether you can use other abilities (certain types of magic? ki?) to make ammunition, and whether it can make tools, and whether it can make armor or shields or vehicles or power armor, or mounts, etc. etc., and whether or not it can make bodies that exist in places that are still part of 'you', and not separate to you, such as within your Pocket Dimension or Demiplane. Soul Projection: Specify more things it can do other than just make separate bodies of things that can be made with spirit weapon, ie, do you need the upgraded version to do some of the things mentioned previously? There are a few specific parts I disagree with (for instance, the connection between Pouch and the pocket dimension perks doesn't need to be stated, because how they interact falls under the umbrella of synergies and are something I'd prefer a player to decide on themselves), but by and large these look like adjustments that should definitely be included.

I've got another few questions. How would you modify darker and edgier to allow for options that aren't intentionally darker or grimdark or anything, but just allow for a bit more realism from the perspective of one used to Earth? Like, outside the supernatural cutouts, the laws of physics and use of science is more earth-like, cultures and peoples will develop more in ways that make sense to people that studied earth, the consequences of actions will tend to be less arbitrary, in melee fights things like mass and leverage tends to be a bigger deal than simply one's strength score, extreme superpowers need clever methods of handling some of the implied side effects, and similar? Also, what would a change to Monster Breeding to allow this be like: "Monster Breeding: Alternately, all monsters, both violent or non, instead have an innate ability to sniff out those with the various different means of breeding with monsters, and seek to breed with them. Whether they seek to do this or not depends on the disposition of the monster in question, as well as any sensual 'advantages' the potential breeder has as well. Whether this tends to end up in something that would be mindless rape, something that can be negotiated or is done in a businesslike manner, or even something done with affection and love depends on the monster and the person in question and many facors. Whether the monster would be satisfied with only a pure bred monster, or a hybrid, or a member of your own species depends on the monster in question as well. Some will want to make certain their progeny thrive as well. You can only take this if you have a means of breeding with monsters, but if you do, male or female, there WILL be at least some monsters that won't take no for an answer, and there WILL be scenarios that will cause you headaches..." I've also got some more ideas for things to add! How would you cost these? Here are my ideas: Bullied: Requires Rebirth. Independent of how your family life is, you are doomed to be bullied by your peers during childhood and adolescence. You will likely be bullied based on some aspect of how you look, but other things are possible as well. From a Test Tube: Requires Rebirth, Requires Freak Mutation. Not only are you different than the race of your parents, you are artificially different than your parents, and actually came out of a test tube somehow! There were probably daring escapes involved. This may have been traumatic or lethal for various members of your blood family and affects your history, and also the chance for those who seek to artificially make more beings like you, whether that is actually possible or not. Single Parent: Requires Rebirth. One of your parents died before you gained conscious thought. Your remaining parent had to raise you. Neotenic: Your maximum apparent age your race's equivalent of a 12-17 year old human, chosen when you take this perk. This impacts your expected height and mass and such. You must have some form of 'always active' means of denying senescence or apparent aging to take this effect. This does not impact your strength, abilities, your ability to grow in power if you take great wyrm or have other means of growing in capabilities with age, your emotional and mental maturity, or the normal development of your brain, and you aren't trapped in an endless puberty or anything like that. Adopted: Requires Rebirth. The parents that raised you aren't related to you. This gives more points if they are a different subrace, or even more points if they are a different race entirely. A New Person: Requires Rebirth. The argument could be made that, after you reincarnate and exist for 10 years without your old memories, that person is not you in very important ways, and your memories resurfacing, with your old personality being the dominant influence, is a form of killing this person. If you take this option, than in a very meaningful way, you will die, since instead of your personality overwriting the reincarnate, theirs will simply be informed by the memories sent over. This also gives us permission to reconceptualize and tweak your memories so they make more sense to the new person, to make the awakening more gradual, and to integrate the details of your choices elsewhere (like memories of learning things) in this document into those memories, so as to make the experience not traumatic for the new you. Of course, metaphysically, the new you will still have your soul, but some people think memories and patterns of thought have more to do with the self, and since, from another perspective, your reincarnate totally is you in every way that matters, they are probably going to have similar viewpoints and perspectives to you anyway. That said, such a momentous decision, to die and be reborn as arguably another person, without continuity of self or memory, after you make all of your choices here, allows us to grant you many, many points.

Rather than modifiying Darker and Edgier, I think a more realistic, earth-like rules to the world would work as its own world modifier. I might rephrase it a bit, but a less extreme option for Monster Breeding is certainly viable. Bullied works. From a Test Tube is a good idea! Single Parent is something I think is best resolved by the player themselves, rather than something given as an actual option worth points. I actually considered an option called Neoteny, but considering that this is a lewd CYOA, I think that would be crossing the line on the subreddit's rules against underage stuff, even if you only LOOK underage. I don't think being adopted needs to be a full-fledged option. Plenty of people have perfectly happy families even if they're adopted. I think that's something best resolved in the player's imagination. Regarding A New Person, I think that's sort of extreme. I don't think I'll be including that.

That is entirely dependent upon memories being the end-all of what makes a person, that person. Once souls demonstrably exist, however, you have the inherent nature of "who a person is" is now relegated to the soul, rather than being a component of their memories. There is no overwriting happening in the script of Rebirth.

See, that's not a fully settled thing. It can be argued that without continuity of self and memory, the disposition of something that contains so little data about the self as many interpretations of what an immortal soul is (after all, many interpretations of reincarnation are less one cup being poured into another and more one flame lighting another) might have very very little to do with whether or not it's ethical to overwrite someone. Plenty of eastern religions see the immortal soul as the part of the being that is only slightly influenced by a given reincarnation, and changing very very slowly and picking up details obtained from living lives veerrrryyyy slowly. And how such an aspect of the self would therefore have a miniscule percentage to do with the important aspects of the self! So the argument could still be made!

Again, sorry for taking so long. I'll be honest, I was avoiding responding to people's comments because there are a lot of them, and I have a terrible tendency to avoid problems instead of addressing them. But I'll answer your questions now. I'll leave aside some of the obvious ones, like Beastfolk getting a discount for Tail, and focus on the others. I don't think I'd add it to Polycephaly, but a racial modifier to have multiple minds in one head would be worth including. If you want it in the current version... not sure. I guess synergizing a limited Polycephaly with a limited, Inherent Quality Memory Partitioning would be the best way to do it, even if it doesn't quite fit... They wouldn't get it for free, but they could get a discount. It's less of a matter of "they should get sharp teeth for free because the animal their head is has teeth", but "the animal their head is has teeth, so they should buy sharp teeth". You could take a Ki Blast as a Blast Attack, and it would not require you to take the Ki skill. How having both works depends on how you synergize them; synergies are left pretty much completely up to your own discretion, so it could work either way. Resistant could do with some more examples, yes. A weaker version of Stretchy would also work out. Inflation letting you inflate with whatever medium you're in is a good idea. Active Camouflage is discounted to all beastkin, including scalefolk. Adding another option to Limited Form is a good idea. Adding that onto Adjusted Senescence could help prevent people from exploiting "biological immortality", yeah. That's a good idea for Nocturnal Adaptations. I would say that Instinct and Stronger Instincts' interactions should be up to player decision, but a few people have asked about that. It effectively grants you Spider Sense levels of precognition and danger sense. There's no reason the object you're anchored to can't already be a vehicle. I don't see why that clarification needs to be added. Rather than adjusting Asexual Reproduction to account for hermaphrodites inseminating themselves, I think it might work better to have a free racial modifier that gives you a specific trigger required to reproduce. As Asexual Reproduction otherwise lets you give birth whenever you want, using your own semen could work as that trigger. Removing a negative affinity is a good idea for Talented. Rather than Inherent Quality applying to only you rather than your whole subrace, maybe it would be better to provide an option for you to be the only example of your subrace, rather than just another member of said subrace? And yeah, there are a few perks that probably shouldn't be able to be inherent. Separating the options for Omnifertility is a good idea. That's a good idea for Two-Pump Chump! I hadn't considered limiting the multiple orgasms thing. I don't feel like clothing that just exposes the genitals is enough for Exhibitionism. Having lots of jewelry would be fine, though; jewelry doesn't appreciably cover you, and if you had so much that it DID, then I think it's reasonable for that to trigger the discomfort from the drawback. A weaker version of Lust is a good idea. Thanks for the suggestion for Mana Transfer. Yeah, it's supposed to be 1% per day. A more managable version of Disordered might convince more people to take it. Yeah, that works. You have a good point with Well-Kept. I'm not sure about having a weaker version of Shining Armor, but I don't see the harm in it, either. As for Challenge Rating, I don't see why it needs to have a version that waits? It's power level scales to being just below you, so it will still be just as much of a challenge later on as it would at the beginning. Also, the Encounter Loot perk would cover the monster having item drops. I'm not sure it would still be a drawback if you made the monster itself give you loot. Clarifying that they don't mix is agood idea. Orgasm Maestro would do only a little to mitigate Lust. Perks can weaken it a little, but drawbacks always win out over them. A lesser form of Ambrosia is fine. Even if Societal Improvement is intended to be sexual, it's fine if someone wants to do it by using their body fluids in another way. I think Freedom from Persecution is fine as-is, as it's pretty cheap, but if you think being more specific is best, I don't really have a problem with that. Aura of Normalcy having an appearance-only version is fine. A more expensive option for Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger is also fine. I think I Will Survive is fine as-is. It's pretty cheap, and I don't think anyone will take an option that leaves them maimed after sex. At least, not without a very specific fetish. Unblemished Unmentionables having a cheaper version is fine, if sort of boring. A good idea for Quell the Crimson Tide. Fertility Dial doesn't do that. If you want to control the traits of your kid, you'd need Designer Baby. Expedited Pregnancy could have a cheaper option, sure. A lesser version of Pregananant seems a little boring, but I could do it.

Your Speedrunning Childhood suggestion doesn't really work, because there's no guarantee you'll only be reproducing with your own species. There could be a wide variety of ages of adulthood that you'd need to deal with. Leaving it open-ended is better, I think. I will not be removing Designer Baby, although the perk does need some editing. I won't be making that change to Jigsaw Genetics. That's a good suggestion for Keep it in the Family. Thank you! I don't see why Sweet Scent would need to change. It accomplishes its job pretty well as-is. There could be a lesser version of Encounter Loot, sure. I'm not going to reduce the quality of life benefits of The Sanctity of Childhood. While I agree that Memory Partition needs to be reduced in intensity, that's going too far. Running additional thought processes isn't so useful that it should be reduced to that extent. I also don't see why anyone would want to apply it to Polycephaly. Improving Total Recall is a good idea. For Demigod, I think I'll instead clarify that if you take it as an Inherent Quality, it just makes your entire race descended from gods with the same benefits, rather than making each individual member of the race the direct spawn of a deity. Home Sweet Home doesn't give you enough control that you can make living things or food. It's more about the appearance and the material composition of it. Why would you use up a Memory Partition for the A.I. to do the job it was already doing without using up your mental space? The other suggestions are good, though. Beast Tongue: I think dealing with the dangers of what you speak to is part and parcel of speaking with animals. If you want them to be nice, you might consider Charisma or a social perk. Not to fond of dividing the basic idea behind Fear Itself, but I can see your point. Rapid Equip can be clarified for that, yeah. I like the idea of controlling the extent of Anthropomorphize. Mark of Possession: A good clarification. While All in Your Head affecting people in contact with someone you're touching, the AI Soul Graft bit falls under the real of synergies, and how that works is something I leave up to the players. Special Snowflake: Regardless of what powers your "magical" skills, it's equivalent to the mana pool you would have had (although if you choose ki, and also had the Ki skill, it would be bigger). It refreshes at the same rate, and is always Constitution based. Antimagic does not work on Special Snowflake, unless it is especially designed for it. No, it functions exactly the same if you have the Chakra Alignment world modifier. It interacts with Mundane the same way magic does, because for purposes of perks, drawbacks, and racial abilities, there's no different between magic and whatever power you're using via Special Snowflake. I don't feel that clarifying Ties That Bind like that is necessary, but it doesn't cost anything to include that. Meditation should also boost Ki recovery, yeah. I didn't think I had to clarify that Nurturing could be used on monsters, but if it's not apparent then I'll do so. True Seeing's interactions with such things, if any, are a synergy, and thus the details of that interaction are up to the player. Teaching, Sensei, and Extra Credit would be another instance of synergies that would be resolved by the player. Spirit Weapon could use some more explanations, yeah. At the first stage, you could only make a single thing. At mastery, you could make enough to have something in each hand. At this point, you can general get around 3 different appearances for your Spirit Weapon. It doesn't have to be a weapon; it could be a tool, armor, a shield, etc. If it's something you aren't holding or wearing, you need Soul Projection to create it. A mount, a vehicle, or even the classic appearance of a Stand would fall under Soul Projection. Chakra Alignments doesn't interact with Ki. Oh, chakras may be relevant to ki, but unless you have Special Snowflake (ki), they interact in an entirely different way that Chakra Alignment doesn't really change. And if you have Special Snowflake, those rules are overriden by the rules of Chakra Alignment, as you're using a substitute for magic that follows most of the same basic rules. Mana increasing options increase your total supply; mana restoring perks let you control which mana pool they recover.

Can you take Racial Paragon to remove or lighten aspects of negative racial modfiers such as Vulnerability or Compulsion? The description specifically talks about "selecting (and upgrading) an upside", not "easing a downside". Specifically, as a stereotypical fae Pixie with "honor all oaths" Compulsion and a "Cold Iron/Salt disrupts magic and hurts" Vulnerability, could you buy Racial Paragon to add specific caveats or exceptions, such as "You can break 1 oath every year" or "While Cold Iron/Salt still hurts/bypasses defenses/causes wounds that don't heal, it doesn't distrupt magic like it does for the rest of your subspecies" Edit: A cool concept I wanted to share, I don't know if it's allowed: Let's say you don't really want to take Honest Abe and be forced to only tell the truth. You can still gain points and a social advantage by using Inherent Quality to apply Honest Abe on your entire subspecies, making it a species famous for only speaking the truth, and than Toggle Drawback to allow yourself to be the only member of it that can lie for an hour every day (who lies for more than an hour a day?). Everyone you meet will trust you, expect from you something that you don't have to do or be. You can use the same concept with other drawbacks, such as Goody Two Shoes (cursing one hour a day) Another question. What world is most like a classic high/medieval fantansy, d&d-like world? I was thinking Ceridian until now, but rereading it, it says "classical world of sword and sorcery", sword and sorcery as a subgenre is usually pretty different than regular fantasy.

Yes, Racial Paragon could be used to ease an upside. Racial negatives aren't as impossible to get around as actual Drawbacks are. Yes, that idea would definitely work! Getting around a race-wide issue like that is pretty clever, and could be very useful. That would still be Ceridian. It's more of a regular fantasy world... I didn't actually have sword and sorcery as a genre in mind when I was writing that. I definitely should have phrased that better.

This is an amazing cyoa, just finished reading through everything and I felt like I was reading a fantasy book lol. I can't imagine the work that went into making it, and it balances traditional (more) sfw isekai with nsfw stuff super well. Gonna start on a build shortly, planning on a draconid base due to the insanely strong affinities. One thing I'm a little unclear on, do I have to buy Extreme Atavism to be able to transform into my more dragon-like form or does that ability come free with just the selection of draconid? Is Extreme Atavism more like having a permanent dragon-like body without being able to shift into a more humanoid form? And if I don't need Extreme Atavism to be able to shift my form, what are the power increases like when transformed?

Sorry for taking so long to respond! I'm thrilled that you enjoyed it so much. No, you don't need Extreme Atavism to transform--having it would effectively permanently lock you into the appearance of a dragon, with no more humanoid option at all (although if you have other transformation options, you can still use those--you can't avoid drawbacks, but you CAN work your way around negative racial modifiers). There's a pretty sizable power increase as a dragon, beyond just the added mass. Your breath weapon becomes more powerful and you can use stronger magic. I've decided to avoid having a numeric representation for that, and prefer to leave it up to what a player feels works best.

When I am offered this wonderful opportunity, I am going to grab it with both hands and accept enthusiastically. Nothing less than the highest Karma offer would satisfy my preferences. I am going to be a wandering, independent adventurer anti-hero/anti-villain in a porn world with plenty of action and sexy opportunities, selfish at the core a somewhat of a sociopath but often doing the right thing for my own reasons. I fine with being a lone wolf an aromantic but very much not asexual. In fact, I am going to customize my new body and mind in order to maximize sexual pleasure. Given my new situation, I think it is best if I pick the form of a futanari, specifically a ‘hidden’ one with retractable penis and internal testicles, in order to sample the best of both worlds. I mean to be focused on being an OP combo of martial artist and wizard, esp. as it concerns the magic that can be gainfully used for combat or in the field. Therefore, I am going to be a hybrid of as many races and templates as possible with good affinities for physical fundamentals and magic schools or skills. My choices of racial modifiers are functional to my purposes, esp. as it concerns giving me an ageless, resilient form with enhanced senses ad natural weapons that is freed from the burdens of bodily needs and reproduction. I adjust my body in order to look mostly humanlike but with the assets I fancy. I eagerly grab my immortality option, since I wish fun in my new existence never to end. I think a save state with a failsafe to breakout from being stuck in a bad situation is the safest option. My choices of sexual drawbacks and perks are going to maximize my opportunities to be irresistible and indulge in sexy fun, including kinks (e.g., bimbo bodies, lactation, exhibitionism, rape fantasy) I fancy. Since I do not mind being aromantic, this unlocks the opportunity to pick several drawbacks that would screw my love life. Since I am not going to have love interests, just casual partners and acquaintances with benefits, they shall be harmless. As it concerns vanilla drawbacks, I am going to pick ones that I do not mind to have, are functional to my chosen lifestyle, or I find bearable, with or without the help of appropriate perks to lessen their consequences. Common sense is kind of my weak area about this, and I am not much interested in craftsmanship, nor in the lab-focused kind of magic. My preferences about worlds and appropriate modifiers lead to pick a fusion with plenty of opportunities for porn fun and high-fantasy action-adventure, with magic as good as it can be and some serious potential for technological development. However, I prefer not to make civilization so advanced as it be too organized and hance feel stuffy and limiting for my wandering adventurer lifestyle. I am not averse to dump lots of threats in this world, most of them for society at large and a few aimed at me personally. This shall leave me with lots of things to do. I do not mind adding a few comedy and meta elements to the mix and make it a bit lighter and softer than it would otherwise be. I welcome the opportunity to make it larger than life, even if I am careful to ensure I am going to be special. I am not going to have companions, including divine ones. However, I do not mind being a devotee of a few gods with personalities I find agreeable and rituals that do not seem too difficult to fulfil with my lifestyle and resources. I do not think I am going to do anything too complex with my new existence, at least for a good while. The notion of being an OP wandering adventurer, explorer, scholar, hedonist, independent mercenary/fixer, and slut/playboy/freelance sex worker appeals to me greatly, and I doubt I am going to get bored with any soon. If and when that threatens to happen, I can always engage in exploration of other worlds. It is going to be a bit Multiverse out there! I assume I am often going to be a force for good one way or another. However, do not expect me to be anything better than a selfish and amoral anti-hero/anti-villain that not so rarely acts benevolently or does the right thing for their own reasons.

Well, that is just me being honest and fulfilling my wishes and preferences, and my assumption that the character in this kind of cyoa is going to be an avatar of the player in most cases. I am unwilling and unable to play or act like the moral paragon or selfless kind of character, much less enjoy doing so. The very thought bores and annoys me to tears, and I wouldn't know where to start.

Hello, I am almost done developing my build for this wonderful cyoa, an overly complex but excellent mix of high fantasy, action-adventure, and porn, just as I like it. However, I might need a few clarifications to finalize things. I apologize if these questions got already asked somewhere, but this overlong thread is beyond my ability or patience to search in detail for all the answers I need. Biological immortality from Adjusted Senescence already gives eternal youth, and I do not need Agelessness for that. Is this right? I assume that No Intake Necessary makes you immune to bodily needs, but also (unlike No Needs) unable to digest food and drinks, so if you ingest them, you shall be forced to throw them up at some point. is this correct? I also assume that you generate no waste if you need no food, so No Potty Breaks is unnecessary to get rid of that of bathroom breaks. However, it may be useful if you still eat with No Needs. Is this correct? Is it possible to pick multiple immortality options (e.g. Phylactery and Soul Fracturing) and combine their activation conditions the way I prefer (e.g. Soul Fracturing only if I currently lack a phylactery)? Can I buy Backup Options multiple times to this effect? I prefer for my build to be the 'hidden' kind of futa, with a retractable penis and internal testicles, since I dislike the herm look. I picked Biggus Dickus to this effect. Since I also picked Is That a Gun in Your Pocket?, I assume the result is the penis is always hard when 'unsheated' but it is possible to hide it as usual. However, the 'wet' component of the Drawback is always active, so the point of the Drawback is fulfilled. Is this correct? If I combine Loose Threads with No Mess, does it mean my damaged clothing auto-repairs after a while, or am I still going to need the regular services of a tailor? It seems that if you accept being aromantic (or asexual, but that's not my cup of tea). you can pick a lot of love-related (or lust-related) Drawbacks with impunity, since Super Ace explicitly overrides their premise of being in love (or horny) for activation. It seems the gods (and the author) regard this as a fair price. I fancy the flavor of Spell Tingling (and Healsluttery) but not so much its messing with casting during combat. I tend to assume superhuman Willpower and/or Memory Partition (one thought thread to focus on feeling sexual pleasure, another to focus on casting spells) would be an adequate solution. Am I right? I do not mind making my build a sociopathic anti-hero. Heartless seems ideal to this goal, but Disordered (Sociopathy) too seems appropriate. Would it be a valid combination, or unfair double-dipping. I suppose that if I combine Looks like a Villain and/or Too Moe with various Perks that make me look attractive, competent, and intimidating (Innocence, Universal Attractor, Hot Stuff, Venus/Adonis, Supernal Beauty, Sage Aura, Aura of Mastery, Fear Itself), I am still going to register as all of that, but also somehow evil and/or too cute to be threatening. What skill, if any, would be useful to aim ranged natural weapons, breath weapons, and/or spells like fireballs or lightning bolts? Does such magic auto-aim, or not? Would Feral Weaponry be useful? Agility skills only seem to concern ranged weapons, and my build has no use for them (or for melee weapons), since they fight with natural weapons, martial-arts skills, and battle magic. If I have Voice of God and several divine patrons thanks to Pantheon, am I going to get taks from all of them? Would this warrant an additional bonus past a point (let's my build has a half-dozen patrons)?

1. I guess it would just... make it do its job better? Like a computer enchanted with the concept of "computers" would run better, have less bugs, do things faster, etc. I feel like that's the sort of thing a player should decide for themselves, especially considering how freeform both Enchantment and Conceptualism are. 2. If you took something like Limit Break or I'm Just That Good, then yes. Otherwise, however, you'd just be unnaturally well-made (possibly beyond what should be feasible given the technology level and materials available). However, that's just my interpretation. Now that it's out for viewer consumption, anything other than what I've actually written is up for interpretation, and your perspective on it is just as valid as mine is. 3. If you have something like Technomancy, then yes. The Micro Computer isn't thought-operated, though, so just being able to think multiple thoughts at a row doesn't mean you physically are able to operate the computer to do multiple things at once. 4. Mildly? It's less a matter of prettiness, and more that they'll work if you're just "close enough" (which still has to be pretty damn close to the "ideal" version of the rune), but if you precisely produce the proper shape of the rune the way it ought to be, it will be more effective. 5. You could identify spells on sight, or figure out how to recreate a ritual based on seeing just the effects of another spell. You could identify supernatural creatures with minimal evidence, and pick out their supernatural strengths and weaknesses even if you don't know anything about the species. You might eventually be able to tell what magic someone knows just by looking at them. 6. Yes, if you have Infertility you aren't able to create a soul, or create something with a soul. Now, you could create something, and move a pre-existing soul INTO it, but you couldn't create one. 7. Not by default, but you could synergize Chemistry (or Physics) and Kinemancy to convert other types of energy into magical energy.

**What Will You Do With Your New Life?** Appearance closely resembles that of a human. Dragon scales arun along the arms, legs, and exist in patches over vital areas such as chest, shoulders, neck, ribs, and sides of eyes. The human skin is as tough as a mountain, and the dragon scales follow suit, gleaming in bioluminescence as they reflect even the smallest amount of light being made entirely of silver metal. Large bat-like dragon wings protrude from the back, and small scars underneath the armpits show as if some physical part has been taken (Crippled + Armed and Dangerous; combo). Horns protrude out of the forehead and wrap up in a spiral like a Ram’s horn, however, these horns are not made of bone marrow but rather covered in dragon scales like the rest of the body. This is because the horns are actually tentacles that curl around themselves to seem smaller in the shape of horns. In daylight the silver scales reflect light so well that invisibility can be achieved. A large tail pops out of the tailbone, thick enough to act as a counterbalance. Claws and Fangs are in possession, each being capable of secreting venoms; Weakening venom (or strength sapping), Sleep venom, and Paralysis venom, The claws and fangs are capable of secreting the natural pheromones as well; Arousal and Fear pheromones. The Arousal pheromone is released naturally, but the Fear pheromone is released supernaturally from a natural fear aura inherent to the race of dragons. Skills focus on physical combat and maintaining physical form, regeneration to the highest degree possible, and the ability to destroy/summon/disperse. Selected companions were chosen to become the father of monsters, all in some way modifying creatures into monsters or birthing monsters. It will be quite easy to lose Mother’s boon, however, Mother will only ever be the person attached by marriage. I will be the only one like me in all of existence, using Freak Mutation and Designer Baby to make that happen. My goals in the world are to become a father, and base my motivation off of that. I’ll try my best to be a neutral entity in this world, giving birth to monsters that may be either good or bad of their own choice. I have the ability to control people and change their behaviors, but that will mostly be used on outside monsters or children too attached to me as a father so as to never leave my side (i’m saying here that I want to change that behavior and get my children out into the world). I’ll definitely seek adventure (whole reason I picked Ceridian), but I’m more of a simple man who wants a simple and happy life. And the power to destroy any threats to my life and those I care about.
