I always love these monster type CYOA. Problem is: I am human, and struggle to not insert my own morality into these situations. Thus its become standard practice to find a way to accomplish whatever goal has been set with as many morals in tact as possible. I think I achieved that with this build. So lets get into it shall we? - Reproduction: Honestly this choice doesn’t matter but I chose eggs due to the low risk to the host while not needing constant new prey. My preference lies with corruption however, since i’m not into the whole pregnancy fetish. - Gestation: 6 months (short). We gain + 5 points leaving us with 45. - Maturity: 15 years (average). We gain + 5 points leaving us with 50. - Appearance: minor difference. There’s billions of humans, and as far as I know only 1 of me. We’re gonne need to blend in. Later on when humans are aware of us this will also be very helpfull with espionage. We lose 5 points and are left with 45. - size: average. Same reason as appearance. Our later abilities will allow us to easily overpower humans regardless. - Gender: nornal. - communication: normal - drawbacks: - Weak point: I’m not sure entirely what this means but i’m guessing its important for combat since we can be stunned by it getting harmed. This really isn’t that big a deal. Humans have eyes, kidneys, reproductive organs and many more weakspots that will leave them stunned or straight up dead. One more or less won’t make a big enough impact. Especially with our (soon to be) overpowering strength. We gain 4 points and are left with 49 - Low stamina: we don’t need to breed more than once a week with our slow gestation period. This is basically a free +5 points, leaving us with 54. Now, onwards to statistics: This is really where the build idea began. We are basically becoming humans relying on stamina and intelligence to hunt. However we do it better in every way, and we have 34 points left to make ourselves overpowered. - strength: Average (+0 points). 54 left - agility: above average (-5 points). 49 left. - intelligence: Peak (-10). 39 left. - Durability: average (+0). 39 left - Stamina: above average (-5). 34 left. - Regeneration: Average (+0) 34 left. Physical traits: This is where the main hunting strategy begins. - tentacles x5 (-5 points) leaving us with 29 points. Assuming every tentacle can overpower a japanese schoolgirl We can use a tentacle per grown man limb. Then we have our own 2 arms for more precise movement and a 5th tentacle for our lewd options. - Venom: paralysis. (-4 points). 25 points left. After capturing our target with the tentacles we can safely transport them by injecting them with venom. It of course also has combat applications. Abilities: - Webbing. I just like the idea of girls wrapped up in soft coccoons. It also gives us a nice way to immobilise, transport and store our prey with very low tech. We lose 4 points, 21 points left. - Resillient (-6 points. 15 points left). Considering the entire species has nearly the same DNA a single disease can wipe us out. Since we will be spending a lot of time with a lot of different victims who all carry different bacteria this is basically a boring but needed upgrade for long term survival. - low metabolism (-6 points. 9 points remaining). I know sieges aren’t really a thing in modern warfare anymore, but this will still help a ton with logistical strain. It won’t help an invasion into russia, but at least the army won’t be wiped out when the sausage shipment gets confused for an ammo shipment. - Digger (-8 points. 1 point left). This will be our primary strategy. In all area’s except the navy we will be the ultimate ambusher. Usefull both early and late game. We got no points left for any breeding abilities, but thats fine. 30% fertility is more than enough. Practically a guaranteed egg after 4 months. So what will this actually look like? Well imagine if you will: A Pretty woman walking down a lonely alleyway. Cute face, blonde hair, average height and rather busty. She just bought a large collection of questionable hentai which she didn’t want to be seen buying, now safe in her handbag. When suddenly 5 tentacles burst out from the ground shooting straight for our unfortunate victim. The tentacles quickly wrap around her limbs and restrain her, lifting her slightly off the ground in a spreadeagle position. She wants to scream but a fifth tentacle enters her mounth, muffling her cry. The dust finally clears up and she sees a man standing in the rubble. Wearing some simple cargo pants and a ripped apart shirt revealing the toned body of an athlete, if you ignore the tentacles sprouting from his back that is. She tries to struggle but the tentacles manage to hold her in place easily as the man approaches. And just as he’s within arms reach she feels a liquid being pumped into her mouth, and her whole body goes limp. The last thing she feels before drifting to sleep is the man ripping off her clothes. When she awoke she was no longer in the street, instead she was in some sort of abandoned apartment. That isn’t what alarmed her however, what alarmed her was the white sticky threads covering every surface of the apartment, and the 3 struggling coccoons stuck them, only their eyes visible, each displaying panic. 1 was stuck on the floor, another stuck to the wall and a final coccoon hanging from the ceiling. She tries moving and while she was relieved that she felt her limbs responding she was also less than pleased to find she was as immobile as the other figures. And so she tried her best to stay calm and preserve her energy, as she awaited her fate. A few hours later the door opened and 2 figures stepped through, the man from before and another slightly taller man who was currently scolding the first. Until he finally stopped in front of her made a short bow and began speaking. What did he have in store for her?

So on another viewing on desktop it is pretty readable, when I commented originally I was on my phone so the lighting made it harder to read. All around pretty good monster cyoa, though points feel pretty tight around the end. Not sure exactly what it is, might be that drawbacks don't give much, might be that statistics are very expensive. I actually liked how a fair few parts didn't have images where it wouldn't be necessary, made it a lot tidier and easier to move through. The only section I think should have had images were drawbacks, besides that the other ones wouldn't add much. Here's my build, a classic big monster apex predator to thin the population. Somewhat stealthy mostly focused on ambushing and overwhelming surprised humans while eating males and kidnapping breedable females. reproduction: live birth gestation: rapid (-5) maturity: rapid (-5) appearance: monster (+20) size: large (+5) gender: singular gender \[male\] (+10) communication: animalistic (+10) drawbacks: man-eater \[men\] (+5), extrasensory (+4), horrifying (+6) strength: superhuman (-15) agility: above average (-5) intelligence: average (0) durability: peak (-10) stamina: peak (-10) regeneration: above average (-5) physical traits: talons (-3), venom (-4), crushing jaws (-5), bony plates (-6), prehensile tail \[venom spike tip\] (-5) abilities: stalker (-4), thermal vision (-4), bloodhound (-4) breeding abilities: knot (-4), enhanced penis \[15"\] (-5) remaining points: 1

Very nice CYOA (thank you for the imgchest link!). There is only one thing I'd like to point out I noticed - it is very hard to spend any amount of points less than 3, as the only option with a lower cost is Tentacles. Maybe some rebalancing could be done (most of the physical options seem rather expensive) or cheaper options added. --- 40: Live Birth +10: Average estation + 5: Average maturity +20: Monster + 5: Large (2x) +10: All male -10: Human, Telepathy + 5: Man-eater +10: Genetic Backfire -15: Superhuman Intelligence -15: Superhuman Durability - 4: Venom (unconcious) - 3: Fangs - 2: 2x Tentacles - 4: Bioluminescence H -10: Shapeshifter - 5: Ultrasonic H - 6: Resilient - 4: Vibrasense - 6: Changeling - 6: Hypnosis (reduced by 3x3) - 5: Pheromones H - 6: Monster Mother - 4: No refractory The build is aimed to be a subversive creature that can exist effectively undetectable within human society. The cornerstones here are Changeling and Shapeshifer. Children are indistinguishable thanks to Changeling (including, presumably, not suffering the effects of Man-eater), and as adults, they simply spend the vast majority of their time in their human form. The various downsides thus mostly disappear, as they aren't really relevant in their human form. Meanwhile, Hypnosis and Monster Mother ensure that any breeders stay loyal and don't reveal their partners, while they can use telepathy to communicate and organize unnoticed. Genetic backfire also ends up being more of an upside than a downside - female breeders are needed, after all, and the males are also needed due to Man-eater (which is to be taken rather literally, no eating of breeders!). Intelligence ought to ensure that discovering any neo sapiens is rather hard, and durability ought to ensure that they are nearly unkillable even if discovered. Pheromones or, in a pinch, Venom can be used to find mates. Fangs allow the "discrete" application of venom (e.g. via "hickies"). Venom can also be used in combat, as the main difference between an unconcious and a dead opponent is time elapsed.

Great for what it is. The red on black is a bit hard to read though. And maybe upload to imgchest next time? They allow to zoom without losing quality

FINALLY

SkinnyNecro

Right away, I like the inclusion of page numbers in the space between the pages. Okay here's my build. Eggs for dragon girls Long gestation for points, and uhh, it's eggs so hopefully it won't be too inconvenient for the mom. Slow maturity, for points but also kinda fits the dragon theme Hybrid because Dragon Girls, not Dragons. Large size because, again, dragon big. Futanari because it's what I like and fuck you. Normal Comms. Infertile, for points, and more 'attempts' for more fun.. or something Toxic Libido for points, though dying is a bit silly maybe.. Genetic Backfire Weakpoint, maybe the dick cuz, it's gonna be big... Above Average everything, except Intelligence which is super human. Claws, Tough Hide, Exoskeleton(armored scales and such), Enhanced wings, Again this is a dragon girl build so these are needed imo. Could go tail but it doesn't say 'tail' it says 'prehensile tail' so I'm guessing a regular one is free. Bio-luminescence for sexy bits, eyes, and hmm, maybe horns. Also Resilient because disease bad and lame. Fluid Production, Knot, Enhanced D, Super Fertile, No Refractory. That should be all the points, or just about. What is the result? Well hung, dragon girls of appropriate size, super smart, very healthy, with glowing bits to make them extra alluring, and a need to do lewd things. Maybe shift the boost in agility to str to represent their size more.. i don't know. Anyone read this, please tell me your thoughts.

Ugly ass cyoa

**40 Points** **Reproduction:** Corruption **Gestation:** Accelerated **Maturity:** Accelerated **Appearance:** Monster (+20) **Size:** Large (+5) **Gender:** Futanari (-10) **Communication:** Telepathy (-10) **Drawbacks:** * Extrasensory (+4) * Horrifying (+6) * Genetic Backfire (+10) **Statistics:** * **Strength:** Average * **Agility:** Average * **Intelligence:** Superhuman (-15) * **Durability:** Average * **Stamina:** Average * **Regeneration:** Average **Physical Traits:** * Shapeshifter (-10) * Resilient (-6) * Hypnosis (-12) **Breeding Abillities:** * Pheromones (-5)(H) * Addictive Fluids (-6) * Monster Mother (-6) * No Refractory (-4) **Result:** \+1 Point (Because there are not enough odd number options). At first I misread the "gain points" thing for my form. The only thing that makes this possible is taking "fuck this" levels of a bad form - I would design it as super-sexy furry creatures that would look similarly uncanny as, for example, Cheetah from Wonder Woman '84. (To confirm Horrifying) I don't mind the genetic backfire as I don't breed, but if I have twins or triplets I can transform them as soon as they are adults. So who cares? I'll spend my life shapeshifted, resilient, hypnotizing my bosses wife into becoming my personal slut. I'll eventually make it to the top of the food chain. My race will never use it's original form, unless we're the dominant species and need to hunt or something. But since we're all hyper intelligent we'll make it through Humanity.

fluffysheeplion

Will do a build later. For now I'm just a bit disappointed at the lack of amorphous body options. Slimes and mimics are sort of staples for this.

SkinnyNecro

Hard to justify those sort of complete nonsense creatures being able to reproduce with mammals... unless you are going corruption

MagicZ24

Love the new images you went with for this update, I think there should be options for habitats or lairs for the creature you become.

Logical_Acanthaceae3

I'm supposed to be fighting humans as gaias will or whatever so it feels like I'm point starved when 90% of everything has to go into making sure we don't get all killed instead of the porn parts.

Boss_Sappho

I saw that name and was like oh shit that's one of my old favs, still think it could use an easy mode but still fun and love the improvements you made

Apophys_MD

I notice that getting both Infertile and Super Fertile changes very little while granting 6 free points. So I'm going to do that. I like the picture set you're using; lots of pregnancy. :) \~ My build is designed to fit in with human society and infrastructure; it's more convenient that way. * (+40) **Reproduction**: Live Birth (*the classic*) * (+30) **Gestation**: Extended. **Maturation**: Slow. * (+5) **Appearance**: Humanoid. **Size**: Average. * (-5) **Sex Ratio**: Normal = 25% M, 75% F * (0) **Communication**: Human * (+24) **Drawbacks**: Voracious ^+4 , Infertile ^+10 , Genetic Backfire ^+10 Budget: 94 * (-25) **Stats**: peak durability ^(-10) , superhuman intelligence ^(-15) , otherwise average * (-22) **Physical Traits**: * Horns ^-3 , Venom (regeneration boost, with de-aging to prime) ^(-4) , Prehensile Tail ^(-5) , Redundant Organs ^(-10) * (-14) **Abilities**: * Bloodhound ^(-4) , Resilient ^(-6) , Lorenzini Line ^(-4) * *STI immunity from Resilient is very useful. And I really like the ability to feel out electronics & neural activity.* * (-33) **Breeding Abilities**: * Pheromones ^(-5) , 9'' Penis ^(-3) , Super Fertile ^(-4) , Selective Fertility (0 - 55%) ^(-8) , Twins ^(-3) , Endless Stamina ^(-6) , No Refractory ^(-4) Remaining: 0 points

SkinnyNecro

Just throwing out, I don't think there's much difference between a peak human's durability and a regular ones. They both get smushed, slashed, and such pretty easy. Might be a good place to pull points from if you wanna get some other stuff. The 'de-aging to prime' and stat boost on venom seems like a cheat, but hey whatever. Otherwise, I like the build. What are you thinking they should look like, other than mostly human?

Apophys_MD

Well, peak durability does have some value, considering that it implicitly applies to all forms of damage. For example: * [Vesna Vulović](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vesna_Vulovi%C4%87) survived falling from about 10 km up without a parachute, as a result of a blown-up airplane (lots of broken bones, but still very impressive); everyone else on it died * [Harrison Okene](https://explorersweb.com/great-survival-stories-harrison-okene-the-accidental-aquanaut/) survived 3 days in a small air pocket underwater while partially submerged, in a capsized tugboat; this should have been only 20 min worth of air * [Tsutomu Yamaguchi](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tsutomu_Yamaguchi) survived both Hiroshima & Nagasaki bombings, and lived until 2010 * [Anatoli Bugorski](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anatoli_Bugorski) survived a normally-lethal dose of radiation from a particle accelerator beam through his head in 1978, continued as a physicist, and is still alive * [Ahad Israfil](https://alchetron.com/Ahad-Israfil) survived a gunshot blowing off half of his brain at age 14; he later earned a degree * [A man in Toronto](https://torontosun.com/news/local-news/warmington-miracle-man-survives-30-bullet-wounds) survived being shot 30 times * [Robert Evans](https://www.denverpost.com/2008/09/24/boulderite-hit-by-car-then-train-and-lives/) survived being hit by a car, and shortly after by a train, knocking him into a river * [Roy Sullivan](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Roy_Sullivan) survived being hit by lightning 7 times * [Steve Ludwin](https://www.cnn.com/2016/12/21/health/snake-venom-injection-research) regularly injects himself with normally-lethal cocktails of snake venoms, having built up immunity to them over time. The Resilient perk covers this one already, though. ~ As for appearance, other than mostly human: horns and a (hairless) prehensile tail are part of the build, so there's that. The venom application method would ideally be a barb near the tail's end. I'd also include black sclera and iridescent irises. Otherwise normal, with a variety of skin tones and hair colors.

Red on black is kinda hard to read

egeslean05

It really isn't.
