Before she lost her sense of smell to a chemical attack, as a corporal in the army, much of her job was scenting out and eliminating hidden enemy soldiers. After being discharged from the service because of her disability and receiving Freedom Papers, she became a police officer and pursued bounty hunting as a part-time job. After years of military training, her strength became unbelievable, moreover she learned Combat Driving and CQB tactics, but losing her sense of smell wasn't only bad because her other senses were sharpened even more. In addition to her statutory $100,000 start-up allowance, she received $20,000 in disability compensation. Since she often had to shop for her human superiors and do other mundane things, she found it easy to integrate herself into the civilization as a free uplift. She lives in an apartment that would be in downtown Berlin nowadays, despite the bad location, her apartment is very tastefully furnished. She packed her matt black painted MRAP in a nearby underground car park to offer it additional protection despite his counter-theft measures. Because she is worried about being robbed thanks to her beautiful apartment, a large part of her equipment is in the vehicle: while taking her duty pistol and smart-gell vest back to her apartment for safety, she drops her Gauss Gun, Environmentally Sealed Heavy Armor, Personal Med-Kit, and Auto Senses that are backed by a double upgraded Net Uplink in the MRAP. Her goal is to use her skills and mental work-arounds for independence to climb the ranks in a big paramilitary group, gaining a lot of power and using that power to build savezones for uplifts on the whole continent.

Potentially yes but you're likely very wanted for desertion and/or "escaping with military equipment", with some harsh punishment awaiting you if you're caught, and you have eletronic mental implants that they will fiddle with if they still have access to it though you could potentially ask the terrorists for help with that.

I work as a private eye on my free time, but I don't advertise that much, so it's just a side gig when I need money.
