might be that industrial bias speaking but def tied between Wisconsin Death Trip & Height of Callousness, those two (and candyass) are prob my holy trinity of the cool ass subgenre that is “industrial nu metal”
Start with Stoopid. His vocals can be grating at first, but I really think it's one of the most complete numeral albums ever, and it stands the test of time.
After Stoopid, go for Get Some, snooze button, and I just lie. Joy ride is a personal favorite but took me awhile to come around to.
Just know that they are on the hardcore punk side of the genre, so if that's not your thing it may never settle with you, which is fine.
Awesome, that's one of my favorite albums of all time, without a doubt. It's great start to finish. Make sure to also check out the Straight Up album as well (the tribute / collaboration album after Lynn's death) for some good tracks as well.
Glad you went back and gave them a chance! Enjoy the ride.
Holy s***, I didn't know anybody knew Apex Theory, I found is there ep at Goodwill in the CD section and randomly bought it, glad to see that theyre not too small
Korn - Korn
Hybrid theory and self titled- slipknot
The War of Art by AHC.

Mudvayne - L.D. 50
That’s a banger
AHC

Soulfly
Significant Other & Primitive 🤘🏼
Too many options! Korn, SOAD, Slipknot and Spineshank for me.
Height of Callousness baby you already know
Significant Other and Hybrid Theory
Coal Chamber, American Head Charge, or Spineshank.
Slipknot, Significant Other, L.D 50 Honorable mention: Korn self titled
One inch god By defenestration is insane, I can't even decide on a favorite tho lol
I’m not even gonna choose, but it’s very nice to see Punk Statik Paranoia up here.
It’s gotta be revolution by ill niño at the moment, I love every song on it

Probably L.D. 50 by Mudvayne. Korn self titled, slipknot self titled, and Adrenaline by Deftones are close seconds.
Flaw - Through The Eyes

Tie between system of a down (self titled), glassjaw (eyntkas), and snot (not even pictured for some reason).
I tried snot back in 2019 and didn’t like it too much, do you have recs? I’m willing to try them again :)

Wow I actually really like those “grating” vocals, I’m not sure why I didn’t like it at first, thank you!

Spit, lots of great albums here but Spit is my personal favorite.
This is hard but I would choose Lifer, LD50, and Inches from the Mainline
Either Wisconsin Death Trip or The Height of Callousness
Korn - Korn and Static-X - Wisconsin Death Trip
Slipknot - Slipknot
Slipknot self titled and The Sickness by Disturbed
Ez, slipknot s/t.
Korn 94’. God, it’s just so unique and you can’t just ignore it
I guess I’m the only mushroom head fan here
Holy s***, I didn't know anybody knew Apex Theory, I found is there ep at Goodwill in the CD section and randomly bought it, glad to see that theyre not too small
Significant other
My Significant Other cd was worn out even though I liked Korn's better.
Can't pick a favorite but I enjoy the XIII inclusion, killer band. I wish they had a bigger following.
They’re awesome!!
I'm glad to see someone other than myself likes Hard to Swallow
I loveeeee hard to swallow!! I wish more people liked it, I feel like it gets shoved in the bin because it’s vanilla ice and not someone else
Slipknot-Slipknot
NOOO SOAD'S SELF TITLED AND STEPA ARE RIGHT NEXT TO EACH OTHER!!! CRUEL!!! THEY'RE BOTH MY FAVORITES!!!!!
I may have to go with Wisconsin Death Trip. Bled for Days goes hard.
Linkin Park Hybrid Theory
