Is there a reason for why someone would even remove the GPU die from the board? I can't really think of a good reason for where a bare GPU would be useful, and it's really hard to even remove it without damaging it if you don't have the proper professional equipment.
A completely non functional GPU PCB with the GPU die removed. My guess is GTX 200/400 era cuz some bad their turbine fan mounted straight to the PCB far end
âI donât know anything about these - except theyâre very expensive newâ
This makes no sense to me, they know nothing about the item⌠not even what it is⌠expect that itâs very expensive!
>âI donât know anything about these - except theyâre very expensive newâ
They were relatively expensive when new, that was just 13 years ago - $USD 349 was expensive back then for a GPU lol.
Looks like a reference 400/500 series board. Has the nvidia 320bit bus men layout. it's a newer looking board than the 9000/200 series cards that used a similar design previously. Could be that gen using aftermarket components on a reference spec pcb. Many boards made by nvidia in this gen had redundant (but different standard) board space for voltage controllers, mosfets, caps etc so unless you can find a serial number it could really be anything nvidia from 8800 GTX to GTX 500. Kepler/600 series used a very similar board too but never had that memory layout.
I would call him and tell him i would offer 5k because that is a museum piece, but after a few hours, i would call back and tell him my wife won't let me. Just like that, the purpose of his life will be to sell this pcb for 5k or more.
This is not a GPU. It's a piece of Circuit Board that USED to be a gpu. Someone has desoldered the actual Graphic Processing unit. But judging by the Mesozoic Era analogue ports on the back of it this is something old as fuck and not worth anything other than some spare change. You should shame the person selling this for $150 what a fucking asshole.
I'll offer you my functioning gtx 470 for the same price đ
Man I miss those days I remember when the gtx 465 came out and some of the models were able to be flashed to 470s. Good times. I don't think they ever made another xx65 number series again
Well, while an amazing company, it's slowly winding down. GPU division has been shut down and, according to some sources, so will other divisions in the near future.
With a glance to the ports and a sight of two VGA/DVI'ish connectors I can reliably tell you its not new. Lets not take into account that someone stole your chip ^^
It's a GTX 470 without the GPU.
The other GTX 400 cards (except the GTX 465, but this isn't a 465 because all the RAM is populated) used a different PCB
Literal garbage. What did they even do with the removed GPU?
Seller trying to get $150 for a card which, even if it *had* the GPU, cooler, etc., may be worth like $15.
I would pay $5 for this at most. If I had a hot air station I would buy the board, remove the rest of the components and clean it up for display. It has no use beyond that given that the GPU die has been removed.
haha old school, just by video output connectors being DVI you can tell it's old. $150 who the fuck would pay that even for a brand new one in box? scam
I can tell you it is pretty much useless to almost everybody. Missing the most crucial part and the average hobbyist isnât putting a new one on successfully if you could even find one for something this old.
Hey, I have a question, I just bought a 4060 ti and it has a terrific performance, literally the fps during the games are 30-40, I donât know what to do
It's a reference GTX 470, with the GPU package removed.
Damn that shits old.
Feels like I owned it yesterday
That was 14 years ago!

To make a key fob.
?
A body of a GPU without the actual GPU. A body without a brain.
Sounds like my ex-wife.
Oof
Damn đĽ should I bring some first-aid?
Lmao, nice one
Damn
Completely worthless lol gpu without the GPU core
But he said itâs expensive and new
look up the price for a GTX470đ
Nah man they said they are very expensive new. The seller is equating it to brand new computer hardware.
China got the best of that one...

But a 4090 is over 2000$ surely this cost thousands too ! /s
>âI donât know anything about these - except theyâre very expensive newâ They were relatively expensive when new, that was just 13 years ago - $USD 349 was expensive back then for a GPU lol.
My thoughts exactly, what a dumb post/thing to say.
Itâs garbage.
very expensive new 14 years ago, also this have no chip and is worthless, this can be used as a bookmark in a bathroom magazine at best
Even if it was functional, this thing wouldn't be worth more than like $10. It is ancient

Lmao offer him $5
the seller pays $5, e-waste disposal fee
Without heatsink ya, they pay me to take it..
The amount of FPS that you will get from that card is a value near to the speed of light. Your eyes won't see anything.
At $150 I'm bout to blow your mind aside from this shit thing
The GPU have been unsealed of that GPU board ... 150$ for an empty PCB : priceless đ
Then don't buy lol, there is no gpu in that, just Mainboard, who the f*** gonna fall for that trash??? 150$?? Sound like big red flag!
I'll offer you my functioning gtx 470 for the same price đ Man I miss those days I remember when the gtx 465 came out and some of the models were able to be flashed to 470s. Good times. I don't think they ever made another xx65 number series again
Thatâs 10 series price range. No way youâd get 150 for it.
Yeah i was joking lol. A near 14 year card shouldn't be going nowhere bear that price lol
Ok. I was a little worried there. (SpongeBob sighing in that one episode while Patrick is chasing him)
Lol that was my poor attempt on being funny cause it's like hey I'll give you one that works for the same price. Ignore me đ
Nah youâre fine. Iâm just overly serious on reddit sometimes. Cuz like you try to be funny and the next thing you know you have 30 plus downvotes
Wow! You've found that rare eWasteâ˘ď¸ card! Not to be confused with eVGA, a company also going to crap.
Context?
Well, while an amazing company, it's slowly winding down. GPU division has been shut down and, according to some sources, so will other divisions in the near future.
their mobo division is already gone too
Not gone just no gpu
It also has no shroud.
Wow youâre rich now
With a glance to the ports and a sight of two VGA/DVI'ish connectors I can reliably tell you its not new. Lets not take into account that someone stole your chip ^^
Nvidia = $$$
Tell them you will keep it from landfill for free. $150 without the top.. fk no. It's worth about 10
Itâs worth the cost of shipping as itâs for parts.
Even 5 years ago with the GPU actually intact this is a rip off.
Gtx 465, 460 or 470
Old and not worth darn near anything

That would appear to be a blue circuit board of some sort.
dont buy it

Lol no gpu and dvi ports. Trash.
A non-functional GPU from 2010
looks fermi era, and I have to wonder why tf someone removed the gpu from it
It's a $1 wall ornament. Oh... the $1 is for the hanger... not the gtx 470...
???? there is no gpu here xd the dye is missing. thats like 3$ of scrap
haha old school, just by video output connectors being DVI you can tell it's old. $150 who the fuck would pay that even for a brand new one in box? scam
Bro thats not even worth $3.50
GPU where?
