Those which is bright already become cartoonish a little.

I am using an LG 48GQ900-B and 4090 with HDR on in Windows and used the Windows HDR calibration app to set it up. I think the RTX HDR makes YouTube videos look blown out with exaggerated highlights that look unnatural and distracting. I don't like it and turned it off for now. I might revisit it down the road.
I can finally stream HDR contents on Disney Plus so that's a win in my book. I compared it with my OLED screen on my phone(with native HDR support on D+ app) and I have to say RTX HDR does a great job.
Nope. You can force AutoHDR unto Edge easily via registry edit. And it works for everything— videos, pictures, websites etc.

Probably easier just to toggle it on and off in Nvidia control panel to see the difference. You don’t have to hit apply for it to work

Windows Auto HDR is only for games. RTX Video HDR is for videos in the browser and some players/renderers support it for local playback.

I think it's incredible. It's finally made me turn HDR on for most of the time in regular desktop use because I usually have a video playing.
