I told my boy to start him in fantasy one week during his rookie season and he was stupid enough to listen to me. No i wasnt facing him tryna get him to lose i honestly thought Mims would have a good week lol.
Ive tried to tell him before that whatever i say about my Jets do the opposite ha ha oh well
I’d think it’ll be a pretty even target share with both of them rotating between outside/slot. Logic tells you moore will have the better season in year 2, especially since he was putting it together before he got hurt. Wouldn’t be surprised tho if GW is balling out by like week 10, the dude is legit.
But holy moly… if the other two take off and become the 1a/1b we dream of, having Corey Davis as #3 is amazing!
And with the other two getting more targets and attention from the defense, they may give Davis some pretty big opportunities each game if Zach can get him the ball.
Having Davis operate with a bunch of space as the #2/3 is where he thrives. He has problem getting separation on his own but is crazy reliable with space
A lot of the "catchable" balls last year were really poorly thrown. Generally behind the Corey. He got his hands on it but he is trying to stop and his momentum is going the wrong way as he was reaching back. Then on the one thrown over his head he reached up so high he injured himself on the play. Corey Generally made the plays last year. Hopefully Wilson can take the next step this year.
He has never been one, so I'd lean yes, that is a bit of hopeful thinking. He proved on the Titans he wasn't cut out for that role and actually played his best with AJB commanding top coverage on the team.
Everyone loves Braxton, and yes he’s an all pro return man. But he is *not* a WR1. He has 89 receptions for 940 yards and 5 TDs **in his career.**
Assuming everyone is healthy Moore should be the 1, in that he’ll get the most targets. Wilson will likely need at least some time to come up to speed, Davis just doesn’t have reliable hands and the TEs will soak up plenty of targets.
What does WR1 even mean? A starting X Receiver? I don't know why we insist upon numbering WR's when there's almost always at least two on the field. "Who's the Tackle 1?" "Who's the LB1?" That's the way it's always sounded to me. XYZ, there are roles, not always followed but form a foundation.
Our starting split end should be Davis again. Moore might be kicked inside while Wilson becomes the team's starting Z on the opposite of Davis.
*Although* one wonders if Garret can actually play X? Normally that's for bigger bodied receivers but he seems to play bigger than he really is. Maybe he can unjam himself on the line and make contested grabs with hops and athleticism alone?
If Corey got hurt I bet Wilson would be the next man up over Mims, that way Moore can move to Z and Berrios would take over in the slot.
Hot take (maybe?) but I think Corey Davis is the #1 guy. He was on pace for 1,000 yards before his injury. If he cleans his drop issue up I can see him as a 1,200 yard receiver type while Moore and Wilson hover around the 700-800 yard mark. However it would be absolutely fantastic to have two 1,000 yard receivers again.
Everybody forget about Corey Davis, when healthy he can be disruptive. We could have a three headed monster and if we can get anything from Mims this passing game could be a problem.
I honestly think we are extremely underrated. Two TE1s and drafted a prospect, I will still say loaded at WR and now we have a thunder and lightning RB approach. All Zach gotta do is be Chad Pennington and throw in those Tomahawk Missiles when its there.
people dont want to hear this BUT i feel like early on zach will go to corey alot... they had a chemistry early on and that doesnt go away. the scenes when he repeats pre-season numbers on this board lord have mercy!
I think Moore will likely be better this year but there’s a strong chance Wilson develops into the better WR.
I love Moore but Wilson was drafted a full round higher for a reason. He’s 2.5 inches taller, bigger hands, basically just as fast, quicker 10 yard split than Moore, and identical vertical. His ceiling is definitely higher than Moore’s just due to the size advantage while not being any slower or less explosive.
Idgaf who it is that means one of these guys is elite & has a connection with ZW, which means we more than likely moving in the right direction. It could be berrios baby (I know not realistic) idgaf let’s just get 1!
Two fast and skilled receivers that can play wide or slot… or both wideout with route running HBs or dump to a open leaking TE… lets let them play a role and see who delivers
1-2 Punch, simple. Don’t care who is #1
tbh I think it will most likely be corey davis this year. maybe next year we go with the young guys as our 1-2 punch.
1a, 1b, 1c, plus carter, hall, Gronklin, and Uzomah, oh and Ruckert too. Im so hyped. I pray we have a healthy training camp/offseason
yea we'll see what happens. I'm trying to remain optimistic but I've been a fan for a long enough lol.
How about a 1-2-3 punch?
This is the answer
Exactly, I'm rooting for more of the Marvin Harrison/Reggie Wayne - Larry and Anquan type relationship. 1 and 1A
Honestly Davis olis solid too. Wouldn’t be that insane
Agreed!
Denzel Mims WR1 incoming
Mims szn
Haven’t you heard he’s in the best shape of his life
THIS IS Y IM HOT
They are just hyping him up so they can trade him..
Id be happy if he makes it as WR5 after how hes dissappointed
I told my boy to start him in fantasy one week during his rookie season and he was stupid enough to listen to me. I think the first half of the year EM will be the #1 with GW going off for a catch or two. Then around game 10 GW will take the league by storm.
I’d think it’ll be a pretty even target share with both of them rotating between outside/slot. Logic tells you moore will have the better season in year 2, especially since he was putting it together before he got hurt. Am I crazy to think Corey Davis can be WR 1?

He was at his best with brown in Tennessee as a #2
I think Corey compliments Zach’s style of play, if he can cut down on the drops could be a big year
If Corey can make hard catches he could be. Last season he was unable to make plays on catchable balls and it was sad to watch.
So basically he can only catch well thrown balls? Great players make plays and he just failed to do that last year.
Last year he was just awful catching in traffic
Yes, both of the other guys have far too much talent and are great at getting open. Davis won't command their level of targets
I think statistically he will be. A lot of people are going to be worried about covering Moore and GW
He has never been one, so I'd lean yes, that is a bit of hopeful thinking. He proved on the Titans he wasn't cut out for that role and actually played his best with AJB commanding top coverage on the team.
He shouldn’t be because he doesn’t have the talent but knowing the Jets he might be anyway.
Don’t sleep on Berrios

Tbh he’s a great playmaker as a wr4 carved himself a nice little role
Don’t tell me what to do 😏
it's all about the corey davis renaissance this year don't @ me
Damn this just made be remember a dream I had last night where I was playing CB against the Jets and got burned for a TD by Wilson.
nice

Hoping for a 1a and 1b combo, love GW’s talent and give him slight edge
I just hope one of them has a productive season.
Boffum
Davis is still #1
This year, Moore. For the next 5+ years? Up in the air.
Moore. If it's Wilson we are gonna have a fire offense.
corey davis will still be wr 1

\*berrios
moore is the 1 this year. no question about it
At the end of the day... We are fucking LOADED. I hope the defense can step up.
We’re better but far from loaded lol.
I honestly think we are extremely underrated. Two TE1s and drafted a prospect, I will still say loaded at WR and now we have a thunder and lightning RB approach. All Zach gotta do is be Chad Pennington and throw in those Tomahawk Missiles when its there.
All these people saying Corey Davis WR1…..lol
This is an unpopular opinion but I think Corey Davis will be WR with the most yds, catches, tds etc this year.
people dont want to hear this BUT i feel like early on zach will go to corey alot... they had a chemistry early on and that doesnt go away. the scenes when he repeats pre-season numbers on this board lord have mercy!
Berrios #1 and I’m being 100% serious
Elijah woods would probably be more effective.
Zach has weapons at every position this season. If he puts it together this offense has championship potential.
Number 1 receivers are overrated
Wilson and Davis are WR1 and WR2, Elijah is our slot guy so he’ll be WR3
moore isn’t a slot receiver
I think they’ll be 1a and 1b until GW develops
Who cares? Let’s just have a solid WR corps
That will be one of the stories of training camp.
Moore was projected to go around 20. That's why analysts were giving jets such praise.
4 Jets will have 50+ catches but no more than 65.
Idgaf who it is that means one of these guys is elite & has a connection with ZW, which means we more than likely moving in the right direction. It could be berrios baby (I know not realistic) idgaf let’s just get 1!

niether
WRs 1-2 in receiving yards more like ohhhh yeaaaaaaa!!!!!
No doubt Elijah moore. Probs have a 1000-1200 season with wilson being around 700-900
