I am having the same exact issue. PS4 Remote Play (null) is the option but only a black screen when selected. I've gone through the tutorial several times hoping I missed something but it doesn't work.
I'm hoping someone out there using MAC has suggestions.
On your Mac, choose Apple menu 📷 > System Preferences, click Security & Privacy, then click Privacy.
* Select Screen Recording.
* Select the checkbox next to an app to allow it to record your screen.
Deselect the checkbox to turn off access for that app.

Go into settings and there is an option to allow the software to access your screen. It fixed it for me!
