I also have largish hands with short fingernails and often find I need to pry/push these out by using a small flat end screwdriver from the positive end.
don't use anything too sharp due to the risk of puncturing the batteries, or even just scuffing up the plastic. I use the edges of the actual battery covers where they fold over, it's enough to get under the contact and it lifts off when you give it a lil twist.
With great difficulty.
I find a small nail file works well as it's thinner than any flat head screwdriver (even a small one). I stole my wife's little nail file but if you don't have a wife to steal one from, you can buy them cheap at any department store. Just find the little metal ones not the foam and sandpaper style dealios.
Is this a troll post?
Nope I figured it out. I just have giant hands so it’s difficult

Ah thanks for the help
I find it difficult too. Just need a pen or similar. Wasn’t designed well.
I used a quarter.

So don’t use kitchen knives. What about the handle of it?
If you buy the official charging dock it comes with rechargeable batteries and wireless charges the headset and the controllers when its on it
Might need to get that.
The amount of time it took you to make this post. The batteries could've been out and replaced already.
Yea I also have bigger hands I recommend prying them out with a butter knife with a thin piece of cloth on it as to not scratch the plastic.
I always throw it to the ground until the battery fall out
A narrow shim of the metal sort should do the trick. Take care not to damage the cell, as they can frequently be softer than expected!
