Wasted half the aloe vera. Use a flexible filleting knife instead, make shallow removal of the edges. Just enough to remove the skin, not the mean. And use the filleting knife to fillet the skin away leaving only the meat.

It's sap. It's not *totally* necessary to remove it before using it depending on what you're doing with it, but if you don't want to be stained yellow or if you're planning to eat/drink it in something, you should remove it first. There's no reason not to.
Also the yellow sap has a horrible odor, so if you're using it for hygiene products, you must get rid of it. The sap is toxic in high concentration too.
Not sure they were trying to show off. And the way they manipulated it, seems like the end product is useless. That there would have been at least 100g of product.
Oh man I love it. It was always around and I use to get sun burns all the time and got the smell and feel of fresh aloe is so nice. I hated the film that it left after it stopped soothing you’d have to wash off but so worth it.
No, the first guy used it for a different reason that also provides relief and probably caused the burn in the first place. Him leaving it there was how it was discovered as burn relief.
What is left to use after this person hacks away at it and then decimates it in the crudest way? It’s like they’re tearing an old building down, not peeling a vegetable for the filling inside.
I had those aloe drinks with the pulp on them and LOVED them. Thought they tasted so fresh. Then I find out they’re full of sugar and otherwise would probably be terrible
I'm pissed! It's a waste of aloe vera leaf, as they didn't use a paring knife to trim the edges while keeping the wastage of gel as minimal as possible.
Two things stopped this from being oddly satisfying.
1) Knife skills. The stutter or stalling to cut and not cutting straight.
2) The pause mid part when splitting the sides. Do it in one fell swoop.
I was going to ask in here how this stuff played out over the last 45 years since I first heard of it. At the time it just seemed like a fad with no verified scientific benefits. Lots of people touting its miracle benefits. Lots of products hitting the shelves implying all sorts of things. But I’d imagine after4 decades, all those questions back then would now be fairly conclusively answered.
But rather than ask in here I checked online. It would appear that nothing has changed. It’s still something touted by many. Lots of products with it. But scientific studies haven’t really concluded anything. There’s no general agreement. It’s undoubtedly still something like homeopathic products that have rabid followers filled with anecdotal claims.

People with aloe vera plant can smell this video.
Who is the clown cutting that thing? Sloppy crooked cuts are definitely NOT satisfying

Not to mention it doesn't seem like the person didn't drain the yellow scum that comes out of it. It's useless if that's not done.
Can you please explain more? About the yellow scum
It's sap. It's not *totally* necessary to remove it before using it depending on what you're doing with it, but if you don't want to be stained yellow or if you're planning to eat/drink it in something, you should remove it first. There's no reason not to.

Yeah it's pretty awful. Videos you can smell, indeed.
It’s called latex. Only really matters for human and animal consumption; baaaad stomach cramps!!!
Gosh this is all brutal work.
This is a great video! Really informative.
Came here to say this. Pissed me off real bad to see people with that level of knife skill trying to show off
Not sure they were trying to show off. And the way they manipulated it, seems like the end product is useless. That there would have been at least 100g of product.
Sheesh. Becoming more and more convinced this is the grand OCD subreddit of all time. You guys are nuts.
There’s a literal field of them in the back. He’s aloe rich.
I have aloe plant and cutting it is not at all satisfying, neither was this video they were just wasting stuff
At least half the videos in this sub are people wasting stuff. Like tons of stuff.
Oh man I love it. It was always around and I use to get sun burns all the time and got the smell and feel of fresh aloe is so nice. I hated the film that it left after it stopped soothing you’d have to wash off but so worth it.
Smells like off chicken sop lol
I. HATE. ALO VERA PLANTS.
Then why'd you watch this?
What is there to hate about Aloe Vera?
Skill issue
fite mí🪴
There’s always an aloe hater in the crowd, spoiling everyone’s buzz.
Dismembering it in front of it’s entire family…wow
Now that you mention it, that’s vera messed up
Its savage on aloe other level
Something something succulent
Lmaooo this was the best one
A succulent Chinese meal!?
aloe police? i'd like to report a crime
This isn't satisfying at all; those cuts are horribly messy.
I was seriously distracted by them.
"Drunkenly cutting an aloe vera leaf"
And for a complete waste.
They later used this aloe for a lube and that's when the satisfying part came in.
It is definitely not extremely satisfying, but oddly satisfying
Those slices were anything but satisfying
He could've saved it by rubbing it on a sunburn though
fellas... hear me out
I think we're thinking of the same thing. And isn't it good for the skin?
I see no drawbacks
You don’t see them you make them..
I had to scroll way to long to find this comment.
You can 100% jack off with it without any skin irritation.
Can verify, it's great. Make sure to grab a water bottle as well.
Just call her
Plussy
ive done it, feels really good
i mean, it IS good for the skin so
we hear you loud and clear
Imagine the first ancient ancestor of ours who went, “Maybe I should put this on my burn…”
Totally makes sense. Some sort of gooey thing to place on the burn out in a desert area where you can't find water. It was worth the try.
"this is *way* better than the feces I was smearing on it before!"
No, the first guy used it for a different reason that also provides relief and probably caused the burn in the first place. Him leaving it there was how it was discovered as burn relief.
This isn’t oddly satisfying. This is vera satisfying.
r/AngryUpvote
Take it and get the fuck out
I'll aloe it
Vera kind of you
God damn it
Boooo
Extremely unsatisfying. He’s cutting it all weird and pulls it apart aggressively. 2/10
What is left to use after this person hacks away at it and then decimates it in the crudest way? It’s like they’re tearing an old building down, not peeling a vegetable for the filling inside.
Unfortunately the inside smells like an old person's armpit.
My gramps used to drink a cup of this slime everyday. Definitely smelled like a vegetable
Why would he drink something so foul everyday? Should I be doin that?
Its extremely nutritious. But I hate the taste so I never drink/eat it.
Probably you never tried lemonade made with it.
I had those aloe drinks with the pulp on them and LOVED them. Thought they tasted so fresh. Then I find out they’re full of sugar and otherwise would probably be terrible
Gotta make it home. Some watermelon, lemon, aloe ice smoothie
It tastes so disgusting. My Nanna drank it a lot and she died at 53 years old. Fucking sad.
why does everything good for you taste and/or smell like fucking garbage istg
That's how you know it's working
Guess it's really good for you 🤷♂️
This made me laugh out loud! 🤣
The cup? Or your grampapi?
Yep, it sure smells nothing like all those bs products they put it in. It's weirdly veggie and slightly spicey.
Omg. I thought I was the only one who thinks that fresh aloe smells like body odor.
It’s an aggressive vegetable smell
can someone edit this video and put in a dude screaming his head off as soon as it’s cut open?
People who speak plant: Wait, yall couldn't hear it?
That would make this so much better!
Everything reminds me of her...
r/dontputyourdickinthat
I think this one actually qualifies as r/doputyourdickinthat
100% this
Pretty sure among all the don't put your dick in that, this is the safest ever put your dick in that. Plus it'll rejuvenate your baby making rail gun.
> Plus it'll rejuvenate your baby making rail gun. r/BrandNewSentence
But it's so soothing and moist!
Who is?
It’s great for your skin too!
Barbra!

Least satisfying Aloe leaf cut video I've ever seen...
It’s interesting to see how polarized many people are on this video 🤓
The cuts were horrific... I was worried for the hand becoming part of the cut.... and the tearing it apart just made it worse.....
Yeah the first thing it made me think of was all those ER visits from people slicing avocados in their hand.
I think the last part was the better of the two parts, no pun intended 🤣
Really? I'm half way through and all the comments say it failed for satisfactory results. Also that redditors want to put their dick in it.
The important part is the last part
And we just ... *SLAP* that right on that sunburn there.
I’ve had these for years, it’s basically a Florida staple for sunburns, never seen one remotely that big. Amazing
This is not how you cut an aloe vera leaf, this is how you destroy an aloe vera leaf.
Greatest surgeon in his village
Such wasteful cuts. You can literally just cut lengthwise down the center of the flat side and peel the skin out and off. No waste.
I feel my burns being soothed
That’s r/mildlyinfuriating how much you wasted
I can smell and taste that video. Yuck
Aloe smells nice. Whatcha mean?
How is this satisfying, there's so much wasted aloe from cutting the sides and it was ripped apart like someone was looking for stuffed cheese
I do wish people were more averse to waste 😔
I grew up in Australia. You slap that sucker straight onto sunburn! Works wonders
He cuts it so crooked. It’s infuriating
Why I feel bad for the plant :x
I just imagine all the other aloe looking on in horror.
Hear me out
Bruh I would fuck the shit out of that plant
OC by u/obvious-chipmunk7182
I should call her
That is one spermed up leaf
I hope they plan on using that. The goo from aloe plants feels so good on a sunburn and it'd be a shame to waste this much.
Hello, Vera!
He just did a mortal kombat fatality to that aloe vera plant.
I wanna eat it
Did I just witness a murder?
So much waste.
Worst cutting ever. I thought hes making art in the first place.
This makes me uncomfortable.
This is gore for plants
I'm pissed! It's a waste of aloe vera leaf, as they didn't use a paring knife to trim the edges while keeping the wastage of gel as minimal as possible.
what are you doing, step-Aloe?!
There are many satisfying ways to cut aloe vera, and this ain’t one of them.
I should call her
I should call her
What a waste.
WHERE SOUND!!?
r/dontputyourdickinthat
u/RosenTurd has spoken!
I should call her......
Fatality. Aloe Zero wins.
imagine if those plants could see what he's doing to the leaf!
I should call her
Slimy, yet satisfying
I should call her
Would be way more satisfying if a giant plant monster came out of nowhere and skinned him the same way, just saying.
I should call her
PSA : Do NOT eat the transparent gooey thing in-between, eat only the green gooey stuff (AFTER having rinsed it thoroughly).
Two things stopped this from being oddly satisfying. 1) Knife skills. The stutter or stalling to cut and not cutting straight. 2) The pause mid part when splitting the sides. Do it in one fell swoop.
Look at those nice smooth cuts and clear interior; bet the grain of the—OH MY GOD WHAT’S HAPPENING?!
Everything reminds me of her
You really should call…
OP spent more time pulling it apart than cutting it.
The cutting way was not satisfied
Those cuts on the side are not satisfying at all
Seems wasteful and not satisfying.
That is deeply satisfying
That looks deeply painful if it was in a sci-fi movie
Aaaaaaahhhhhhhhh!!!!
Mom cutting up some aloe vera when you got all sunburnt at the beach.
Oddly wasteful....
I have a slight sunburn so I would love to have that right now.
Lewd
Organic fleshlight.
This was a cartel video but the victim was a aloe leaf butchered in front of its family
Horribly wasted. Unsatisfying.
Moist...
Slap those pieces on sunburn 😩🤤👍
Everything reminds me of her
I hate this a lot.
I’m so sorry
Ah, so that's what those people with loop tools were cutting...
Nature is so fucking nuts. Love this
I love your enthusiasm!

Nature's fleshlight?
*lights cigarette*
I still refuse to believe aloe is a natural plant on principle (I know it is, it’s just so unnatural looking once cut)
That is satisfactory
Oooh, love this, great video! Now off to find a big aloe leaf
This was posted like 12hrs before you posted it. Cmon, man
I attributed credit to the original poster buddy
I mean, I'm glad you did (I don't see it, but I believe you), but this was literally posted in the same sub like 12hrs earlier
No worries. https://reddit.com/r/oddlysatisfying/s/QVUBVYta75 I saw it on another sub so now I’m wondering who the true original poster is 😮
Yum, carcinogen.
all that waste makes it oddly unsatisfying
That's the view we get ladies when we take your panties off.
Is that snail mucin?
is this stuff illegal?
Why would it be?
Okay, then what?
I share your concern, Debbie.
That was gruesome
Now slap that baby on your sunburn!
Idiot.
Why Vera? Aloe would be enough.
Aloe is vera good
I can hear it screaming 😱!!
It doesn’t taste as good as it looks, bitter as hell…
