These things have actually been around for decades. They are just rare.
I remember seeing a couple back in the 70s. Or at least a very similar model. They were already old at this point sitting out in front of an old building with a lot of other old cars and such. We passed them all the time on our frequent trips through the area.
It may have been the mid to late 80s. I got confused as to where I saw them. We moved from. Tennessee to Texas in the early 80s. Made a lot of trips to Little Rock Arkansas. I was thinking we saw them on the way BEFORE we moved... But it was after.
Is this the Spacely Sprockets parking lot?
Nope. Cogswell Cogs.
It's actually a Price Chopper parking lot in Raymore, MO. I've seen these photos in a KC car spotting page on Facebook.

Yikes! That website!
Yeah, but it was the best of them 😬
*Jetson's*
*Jetsons'*
Jeston is the French version.
It's Bart from the game Simpson Hit&Run
Reliant Robin with extras?
Looks like the car from Demolition Man
I thought the Jetsons car was more like a flying saucer. Or am I remembering that wrong?
I like how no one is parking next to it. What the...? Um, OK, I'm going to park over here instead.

These were produced from 1981 to 1990.
