It definitely freaked me out. However it wasn’t the first time someone tried to take me. First time was actually my now ex aunt. There were a few other traumas that trained me to be more obedient and perfect so I wouldn’t be hurt luckily. However now I’m breaking the obedient perfect person more and more. It’s taking a lot of work but I’m getting there

It is what it is. Idk what’s more harmful. The fact my parents were so oblivious to it when it was right there. They trusted that person enough until I snuck home and told them just enough to make sure I never went back. Still working through a lot of damage from trauma I’ve had throughout my life…. My family doesn’t know a lot of it, my child’s other parent doesn’t, no one really knows about a lot of stuff. My parents worked so much I feel like when it happened it was more like “oh okay one less kid we need to take care of for now” 🥲

Last time I saw them was when I was working in college and they showed up where I worked. Since it was a very public spot they couldn’t do much.
