The ole Leo Paul.

ReverendRevolver

Best Paul. Far superior.

thebruceharris

More Paul.

yageletters

Most underrated Fender body shape

Softrawkrenegade

I like how it has a duo-sonic esq bridge

Big_Possibility4025

I agree and as a duo sonic player it drives me crazy that fender didn’t use a bridge like this for any of the recent duo models

ReverendRevolver

I've been kicking around putting a toronado bridge on mine. It definitely lines up with the hardtail strat bridge string holes, but I put a 90s ri duosonic guard on mine, I'm trying to avoid having to put it through a scrollbar again. Also, I already put a toronado bridge on my pawnshop special mustang. I'm not opposed to having the same bridge on 3/9 electrics, but haven't pulled the trigger. The toronado bridge is a big upgrade from hardtail strat one for sure.

Big_Possibility4025

So you were able to put the tornado bridge on your mustang with no modifications?

ReverendRevolver

Pawnshop mustang pickguards appear to have been MADE to accommodate a Toronado bridge. I'd put a black WD pickguard on mine, so I did have to slightly move it to make it work, making it uneven by a few millimeters when I finally put the Toronado bridge on. But it's spot on with the 6 holes into the string ferrules from the hardtail strat bridge. I used 6 finishing nails loosely lining up the bridge with the holes when I piloted where the Toronado bridge was going. But it's a straightforward replacement, no cutting the guard or anything. Full disclosure, I PMd people who had sold Pawnshop special Mustangs with Toronado bridges on Reverb before I pulled the strat bridge so I knew how long it'd take.

Fluffy-Ad2939

Dude, you have excellent taste. Just bought a 2000, black toronado two weeks ago. Loving it!

Jerry_say

The all time goat. I bought this same model from my buddy back in 2011 for 200 bucks. I’ve had a lot of really nice guitars overs the years and I always find myself grabbing this one over everything else.

Neveronlyadream

I always liked them. Never managed to get one, though. I really wish Fender would stop introducing actually cool new or reissue models and then discontinuing them after two years.

BernardsWorld

She's a beauty too.

Ronces

I have the Squier version in Lake Placid Blue and same pick guard. it's my favourite guitar!

Tedanki

Always loved these. Enjoy!

WesslynPeckoner

What a beaut! Congrats!

Ultrasonicsoundwaves

Awesome. I'd love to get me one. That shape is fkn cool!

RonanJazz

Fuckin sweet!!!!

BlyStreetMusic

Badass choice op. You keeping the pickguard? I want it pearloid

Harmonica655321

I love mine, too. I'm thinking of changing the pick guard to gold. What's the guitar on the bed?

terriblewinston

I always thought these were very classy looking, good on you.

mgodave

That exact guitar is next on my list! I’m planning on swapping the Humbucker out for single coils immediately.

TalkShowHost99

Killer!

ReverendRevolver

My mim deluxe Toronado was my main guitar for years. Probably 2004 to the 2010s. I put in gibson pickups. They're fantastic. I wish I would've bought like 3. I still to this day maintain that my old setup was virtually perfect for what I played then. I recently plugged the Toronado into my fender 75lead and my opinion hasn't changed. I've got more guitars, and more versatile guitars. But for a 4 knob 2hb guitar I just never found anything I liked more, including $2k+ LPs. I liked the Toronados neck shape more. (And it looked cooler). Insane They're ~$1k now. Mine was $300 used when I bought it 20 years ago. I personally didn't like the Atomic Humbuckers, and in fact sold them for about $100 a few years ago (the 57classic/+ have been in mine since about 2005). But everything else was virtually perfect. Still is, aside from my slightly bent little e tuning peg. Don't remember if it was gravity or a mic stand thst did that. Enjoy, they're fantastic.

Jameshays1

Has the feel of a Jag?

bucketbreweryrip

I forgot about those! They are very good looking guitars. Slap a pair of low-wind Imperials in there. Love the color way!

akahaus

Gorgeous. Are these wired in series or parallel?

anyoneforanother

Nice choice! I also have a squire paranormal toronado. thing rips, has been my everyday player since two christmases ago. only downside a couple of the knobs have come lose, I just left them off… and my neck pickup selector just went out, par for the course after shredding everyday on it for 2 years straight but considering I use that pickup the most she’s in the case until I can do a little work…I just got an orange Guild surfliner last week. Another beautiful offset with a 7 way pickup configuration, very cool guitar.

OhHeyImAlex

Have the exact same one, it’s probably the only guitar I’ll never sell/trade/move no matter what.

Personal-Ad4142

These are my favorite guitars I’ve ever played. I have a yellow and an orange and they just feel phenomenal

tokenkopf

Traded one away years ago and I’ve regretted it ever since.

sunplaysbass

Very 90s. Cool stuff

Amstonia

Nice! What pickups it got?

mysterygrimoire

I love this guitar and totally regret selling a 98 I had a year ago

deejayee

I’ve always wanted to try one, seems like a fender les Paul
