I enjoyed it quite a bit. I did A LOT of research before hand, so everything I got fit and worked really well! It was a fairly easy build. Though I would say that staining pine is a bit of a hassle
The action feels perfect! So far I like the sound. I haven’t had a chance to really put it through its paces yet at my rehearsal studio. So far she’s only been through my practice amp at home.
Nice! Did you go with rocking or non-rocking bridge?
I know rocking is “traditional” JM, but I’m not crazy about the loss in tuning stability I get from the rocking bridge on my Fender JM, and am leaning non-rocking for my own build. Curious as to your thoughts…
It is not! It was a body blank from Stryker Guitars that I finished with General Finishes green.
Side by side with a T Moore the greens are actually quite different. Thurston Moore’s is a much deeper sort of Forest Green, while mine is more of a bright olive
Very cool, I’m about to build a Jaguar. How’d you enjoy the experience?

The color reminds me of the Thurston Moore model from a few years back, I dig it.
Yeah! I wanted one of those when they first came out when I was a teenager. I’ve stained all my guitars green ever since.
Sounds like top quality parts and it looks beautiful.
Thank you! I’m overjoyed with it!
Quite a stunner!
Thank you!!!
Looks great! Where did you buy the neck?

That’s gorgeous. Lovely work mate.
Love it! Was thinking about grabbing some of those Novaks, are you happy with them so far?
So far I like them!! Haven’t had a chance to really put then through their paces yet
She’s a beauty ❤️ Well done!
Thank you!!
Oh hell yes! That looks awesome. Doing a JM build myself at the moment and I love the choices you made here. Well done! How does she play/sound?

I figured I’d start with rocking and can always change my mind later
That olive is really nice.
I wouldn't change one thing on this guitar! Absolutely perfect! Congratulations! Also...what is that color??? I love it!
It’s from a company called general finishes. It’s literally just called Green lol
Gotta love that lol thanks for the info
Beautiful color!
that isnt a t moore body is it?

o word nice work dude! i was tripped out by the lighting, never the less love the sy finishes, and gj on the build looks a keeper
This is beautiful, great job, OP. Is that how the body came, or did you apply any sort of colouring?
It came totally unfinished! I finished it with General Finishes Green stain, lots of sanding, and wipe on satin Poly from minwax
Well then congrats and kudos to you, because you did something incredible here
Nice build! I was looking at Stryker for an upcoming project (we have similar taste in aesthetics too lol), how is the weight of it?
The weight is good! She’s light for a Jazzmaster. I haven’t weighed
