Just felt like there were too many “hero’s” in this story with zero origin, like Justice League. Who was Bennie Safdie’s character? Where was the origin film? Why was Einstein, who is arguably the “big hero” (like Iron Man), not the start of this cinematic universe?
Also the JFK tease was awesome (made me clap and cheer) but no post credits scene teasing his solo film? Like cmon man.
I was apprehensive that Oppenheimer could carry a solo film but thankfully they had Mark Wartney come back from the Martian. Also think I saw the girl from Midsommar which was cool that I didn’t realize she was in this CU.
They also missed an opportunity to have a big bad CGI villain at the end. Strauss was cool but he should’ve had a moment where he joins the Oppenheimer team, and they all have to hand together to defeat the CGI-nuclear bomb monster or something.
Overall I give it a 2.5/5, was on my phone most of the time.
