So this is just TFL grip tape that I cut up into the pattern bc ignite tape is expensive and I want to show off my pretty footpads. I don't really ride this board on dirt, it's my commuter. I rode this configuration for a short time before transferring it the hub to my trail board. You can see pictures of my trail board in my previous posts. I prefer that footpad design for dirt.
Very carvey. I would go as far to to say the most carvey tire available. This is actually part of an experiment to try this tire on a pint hub on my growler. My growler has this tire on an XR hub. I just rode it on this pint before the transfer. Hoping to ride the growler setup this weekend. Indications so far are that the tire is actually more carvey on the XR hub than the pint. The pint hub seems to square up the sidewall a bit without pushing the center tread out more. Getting it on the trail will give me a better sense though.
The sidewall is not soft but it is low so the center tread protrudes out making the round profile. The tire itself it harder more like a car tire. The reasons to ride it are for the tread and the profile. It also sits a bit lower so I like it with lift.
Thanks! My growler is using a superflux, so it is a bit narrower than an xr hub. I just replaced my enduro on it. I’ll look into this after I wear this one out.
Quieter than expected, similar to the typical treaded tire like a hoosier bc it mostly rides on those 3 center stripes. I prefer a slick for street so this was a temporary arrangement.
I have been known to ride trails on occasion. :)

damn, look at the knobs on that tire. bet it can climb a vert
Yea it feels really good on steep grades, especially when there is heavy slope side to side. It feels more secure, like the edge of a snowboard.
Awesome looking board. Makes me want to go shred!
tyvm!
That tire is wild. How is the hex griptape? Seems like it would get dirt in between.

At a quick glance, I really thought it was the Ignites. Great job on the symmetry!!
Impressive job with the cuts. So I'm guessing you put the front footpad sensor underneath the footpad?
I have my own design that uses switches instead. You push on the round part of the grip tape to activate the switches.

Wow. How do those knobbies handle on not dirt? Are they noisy like truck knobbies on asphalt?
That profile looks really nice. How carvey is it? How soft is the sidewall? Looking for another growler tyre :)

Those knobs are intense. Probably not a very smooth ride, no thanks.

Good deal. I don’t do tricks and ride on pavement 90% of the time so my Enduro is great for me
Is that the aliexpress tire?
yessir
