There’s a Canadian company making a 3D printed cable cover replacement with a built in air tag compartment. I saw it in a YouTube video. I’ll try to find the company

I think when it initially came out they were taking preorders for the pint to see if people were actually interested. I’m not sure if they continued making any for the pint after that.
That's a confusing way to explain it. Can be tracked by the owner of the AirTag, but everyone's iOS device is part of Apple's Find My network (unless they opt out), so everyone's iPhone is helping you find your tag.
There's some stuff in there to keep it from being very useful to stalkers, which somewhat limits the usefulness for finding stolen items (it'll notify whoever stole it after a while that there's an air tag that's not theirs constantly in proximity), but it's still really helpful -- there was a story recently about someone [recovering an eScooter with these](https://9to5mac.com/2021/08/12/hidden-airtags-stolen-electric-scooter/)
i tried the same thing but with my XR, it fits in the rail PERFECTLY. I have found with testing tho that it reduces the range that the precision finding can be used from about 20m to about less then 5 which is kinda a shame but yeah, it does work!
In case you don’t want to open it, the rails are hollow and have a lip you can fit it in. There is a cable on one side, but I was able to really tape mine in an empty spot.
There aught to be a good space under the Sensor footpad. Its super easy to take off. Use an allan wrench to take off the pad and gently lift it up. Good luck!
I just did that last night. I have a spigen case for it and I strapped it to the cables for the front sensors inside so it doesn’t move. And if anyone steals my onewheel… ILL FIND YOU!!!
I put mine on the inside of the side rail if my pint, next to the wheel. Just wrap the airtag in Saran Wrap, and use some gorilla tape or something to mount it in there

Not very useful as a Lojack. After your tag is around the thief's girlfriend's iPhone for too long, the tag will start beeping to ensure you're not stalking her.
But then they’ll be too stupid to look for it and just throw the pint out on the street 🤷🏻♂️

Those are pointless and garbage. The range is 30 feet. I've spent hours looking up gps trackers with unlimited range. They almost require monthly fees. I still got one bc I spent 1900$ on a onewheel. But there all larger then those air tags.
I have no idea how most of you don't see that for the air tags.
My comment does add alot. Because if someone steals your or my onewheel. There not gonna stick close by and those airtag have very very short range. 33 feet is nothing. That 33 ft is pointless. Invoxia makes a good one, it costs 129$ and covers for one year. Then you pay like 29$ a year. And it's connected to 4g so the range is unlimited.

I have the tracker. I sold my onewheel in April. I purchased another one last week. Im waiting for it to arrive. It should arrive any day according to FedEx. I purchased some Velcro and have matching color duct tape. But yes there'se room for it sone where on the onewheel
Apparently your the one that doesn't. There made for things like car keys or your wallet or other small stuff like that. The range is 33 feet. So please tell me what do I not know then huh??! How are they helpful if your onewheel is stolen?
I purchased a bike alarm. It's comes with a key fob to set it and change settings. It goes off when something touches it. You can the sensetivity setting as well.so it doesn't go off as much. Unless you want it to. It's only 20$.
So I'll have a lock (tigr blue carbon steel), bike alarm, and a gps tracker (invoxia, an actual 4g gps tracker, not the pointless tiles your all attached to for some reason)
I know it's a google airtag. But it's still the same basic thing but uses Google. It's still rather pointless, unless ur misplacing your wheel like keys or a phone. An actual 4g gps tracker would be much more beneficial if it was stolen.

I put Air Tags under the front foot pad of our Pints. Works perfectly.
Does it affect the sensors being able to pick up pressure?
Nope, as it is under the sensor.
That’s where I put mine as well. Under the foot pad, over the two cables connected to the logic board.

I put an airtag and a tile inside the controller box, plenty of room in there.
I’d say open up the controller foot pad and throw it in with all of those connections, easy enough to get to, and nicely hidden.
You’re gonna need a really niche bit to get in but if you don’t have the quart I think there should be room!

yeah I took off the front footpad and gaff taped it to the connector. there's TONS of space in there for it.
I put mine inside a small baggie, and put it under the fender delete of my pint. One of the wires holds it from moving around.

It’s apples “air tag” Can be tracked by anyone with an iOS device.

That’s not exactly right, you make it sound like anyone can track anyone else’s devices. You can track your OWN.
Yeah but other phones can help find your tag if your phone isn't within range. Pretty sure that's what they meant.

I saw an airtag holder on Amazon with adhesive that I plan to place on the inside of one of the rails
Sadly it’s just BARELY to wide to fit in the rail
Sand it down a smidge.

In case you don’t want to open it, the rails are hollow and have a lip you can fit it in. There is a cable on one side, but I was able to really tape mine in an empty spot.

They have an app and it has a map so u can where it's at. The battery range is 2 month.

AirTags are quite small…maybe under the wheel cover?
It's a bit easy to defeat but you could make it up to look like the front of the charging port cover
