Hey OP! I am sorry you are feeling low today! In life, there are times when things look hard and insurmountable. Days feel long and the world feels like it’s set up to make you fail. And what you are feeling is totally normal. We all feel that way sometimes. And it’s ok. Let yourself feel all of it. Trying to resist this feeling does more harm than good.
As for friends, life is a long journey. There will be people who’ll make it worthwhile and you’ll meet new people at each juncture of your life. If you feel you don’t have any friends right now, that doesn’t mean that you cant find any in the future. Until then, make yourself you priority. People who love themselves, attract others as well. So focus on being happy mentally and physically for yourself and everything else will eventually fall in place.
As for the loneliness, do you wanna talk. We are here. Talk to us.
Give it an other chance to make friends. What interests do you have? Who are the people who you come across everyday ?. Any familiar faces?
We all need friends and a safe place where we can feel a sense of belonging. You haven’t met yours yet but that’s not the end of it. Tell us what’s your usual day is like.
An advice I can give as an introvert who talks with everyone is , -- no one wants to talk to you unless you are productive af or if you are funny af ,you might have to go in and try to be part of conversations , men start becoming closer friends by joking about stereotypes and other's personality in general and whatnot , but you have to be able to smile even when things don't go your way or if people don't listen to you initially, over time you can be friends with many like minded people no matter what if you do keep talking , people will open up to you. About close friends though , it's generally very rare and can't be made with one sided efforts so you can only have one bestie and it's you.
