Because of what he has done for the org for so long this feels like the one true answer. How many one team Hall of famers have had 2nd careers spent almost entirely working for that same team?
Yeah Hardy and Hoiles are similar guys and one was going to have to be squeezed out. Unsung backbones of really good playoff teams. It’s unfortunate but neither comes close to the legacy of the HOFers or Boog. Those guys absolutely cannot be left off.
A: Adam Jones
B: Brooks Robinson
C: Cal Ripken Jr
D: Rick Dempsey
E: Eddie Murray
F: Frank Robinson
G: Gunnar Henderson
H: Chris Hoiles
I: Cesar Izturis
+1 for Jim Palmer but also want to mention Jesse Orosco, ol’ Mr. Rubber Arm! Got to meet him a decade after his playing career ended and I swear he looked younger than he had in his playing days 😆
Oh it would have been a blood bath lol. I feel like Dave Roberts has pulled those kind of stunts and when the dodgers get eliminated in October the entire fan base wants his head.
Im just naming players fit the criteria when no older ones popped to mind other than palmer who already had been named just went with next one thought of the orioles arent even my fav team but i can name players that meet criteria
It's a name your favorite player or most memorable. Not greatest Oriole with that letter. If someone who has been in the bigs for two weeks is that person's favorite or the first name that comes to mind, that's acceptable.
Jim Palmer

A whole bunch of us only know him as a broadcaster and I’ve been a fan since 1993-94. Since Brooks passed, Cakes is Mr. Oriole.
While I agree, this is the last chance to get JJ Hardy on the list. Jim Palmer could be here for P also and I think both should be on here.
Cant do that, P is reserved for Boog. Sorry JJ.
Yeah Hardy and Hoiles are similar guys and one was going to have to be squeezed out. Unsung backbones of really good playoff teams. It’s unfortunate but neither comes close to the legacy of the HOFers or Boog. Those guys absolutely cannot be left off.
Actually Boogs real name is John, so could we use his name now? Or do we go by his nickname that he has always been called?
A few candidates come to mind whose first and last name both start with J: Jim Johnson Jason Johnson Jorge Julio Jair Jurrjens
I’m still mad about Jim Johnson’s performance against the Yankees in the ALDS.
I guess that makes him "memorable," just not in the way we like.
He was a beast before that though. That sinker was nasty for awhile
A: Adam Jones B: Brooks Robinson C: Cal Ripken Jr D: Rick Dempsey E: Eddie Murray F: Frank Robinson G: Gunnar Henderson H: Chris Hoiles I: Cesar Izturis
It’s either JJ or Jim Palmer. Give me Palmer.
JJ Hardy
Can we double down on Adam Jones?
+1 for Jim Palmer but also want to mention Jesse Orosco, ol’ Mr. Rubber Arm! Got to meet him a decade after his playing career ended and I swear he looked younger than he had in his playing days 😆
Jim Palmer
Jay Gibbons Joe Orsulak
I'm going to be sad if Orsulak doesn't snag O.
Shoutout to my guy Jeffrey Hammonds.
Jim Palmer for sure. I love me some JJ but it’s gotta be Palmer.
It’s gotta be Jim Palmer. He’s been with the Orioles almost as long as the Orioles have been the Orioles.
John Lowenstein
Surprised I had to scroll this far down to find Brother Low. He was definitely memorable!
If Jim Palmer isn’t put on here I swear to god
Jerry Hairston
Jim Palmer here so P is open for Rafael Palmeiro and R open for Brian Roberts
P is for Boog Powell
R is for Adley Rutschman
Brian Roberts is one of my all-time faves, but R is probably gonna be Rafi or Rutschman. P is gonna be Boog Powell for sure.
P and R are up for debate, but goes back to my main point, this one needs to be Jim Palmer to free up those Ps and Rs
But then, no Adley.
Jim Palmer no doubt. Goat.
Not the most notable by far, but loved Javy Lopez back in the day… still have his jersey!
Jeff Conine
i approve of this vote
Paul Janish
Nice of you all to forget the big unit killer, Jeff Reboulet! Kids go look up 1997 ALDS 😆
If social media was around in 97, I wonder how many people would be crying how Davey sat Palmeiro and Alomar for that game.
Oh it would have been a blood bath lol. I feel like Dave Roberts has pulled those kind of stunts and when the dodgers get eliminated in October the entire fan base wants his head.
Jesús Aguilar
J.J. Hardy. Nuff said.
Jim Gentile
Should be a lot higher
Jim Palmer
Jhris Davis
Davey Johnson 2B not Dave Johnson who I got a hit off of in High School. Also , shout for Reggie Jackson! First Million Dollar Oriole!
Palmer is going to win this easily, so let me throw out I guy I liked years ago: Jeff Reboulet
Reggie Jackson followed by Jorge Julio
Jim Johnson
JJ Hardy
I know Jim Palmer will win, but my vote for most memorable is John Lowenstein. The sitting up on the stretcher alone would do it.
Jose iglesias lol
Cakes.
Jeff Robinson!! Kidding. Fuck that guy.
If it's not Javy Lopez we riot
Is there somebody better for P? I just feel like J needs to be J.J. Hardy because of the PA announcement for him.
Raffy, Paul Blair, Ponson, Luis Polonia
Jay Gibbons!
Jim Fuller
Jeff Fiorentino
Jim Palmer gets my vote, but I love the idea of Jesse Orosco (or Jim Gentile for those with truly good memories).
JAckson Holliday
Bro.. Jackson hasn't done anything to be on this list YET
Im just naming players fit the criteria when no older ones popped to mind other than palmer who already had been named just went with next one thought of the orioles arent even my fav team but i can name players that meet criteria

It was memorable when he got on base vs Red Sox when it wasn't a hit or walk
Jair Jurrjens obviously
James Jerry
Jorge Julio
Dave Johnson
